That is not true.Those are surface analysis.The BU and Core war can change things drastically in hours.You never know how the future will be unless it is sorted for once and for all. |

Yes we still are.The rule of not calculating the value of bitcoins in terms of fiat is followed while taking the donator status otherwise it would be unfair for the previous donars. Having said that,you can always donate whatever amount to the address mentioned in the donate tab.Forum doesn't depend on donations now. |

The collateral rule remains the same regardless of the amount you're borrowing.In a way depends on the terms lender agrees upon.They'd definitely not take anything less than 100% for an asset as a collateral. |

Never okay.Doesn't matter what coin you have there,use the corresponding wallet. Because eventually the altcoin is to be exchanged with bitcoin, which will be done at polo so it makes sense to receive the alts directly there.
What if polo gets hacked overnight ? Do you have any trust over the sites security system that it will never be hacked ? Historic events should speak for itself. |

The only project I found interesting was BitcoinJS, however all of the issues seem to be very complex. I believe working on something I make will allow me to fully understand whats going on in the project, and learn more.
Bitcoin in itself is quite complex.The most basic thing you can open source is maybe a bitcoin payment gateway or a block explorer.Using the libraries I hope it isn't all that difficult. |

Can confirm, this seemed to start happening a couple of days ago and is intermittent. It seems like whatever backend service is running on ip.bitcointalk.org (the image proxy) seems to time out.
However,if you open the page,you get this This page is used to test the proper operation of the nginx HTTP server after it has been installed. If you can read this page, it means that the web server installed at this site is working properly.
If the problem lies with the code that is running the nginx server,this should be reflected here,No ? Sorry I'm not too technical. |

That's some pretty shady activity and is discouraged on the forum even though it's allowed so some DT members are likely to give you negative trust. if selling account forbiden to do, why so manny user selling their account on that thread ? It doesn't change the fact that selling accounts is only used for spamming or scamming. Who cares if it's allowed. It's obvious nothing good is going to come of it. I have come across people who have as much as 10 accounts which are used in the signature campaigns without spamming or scamming.Just saying,it is a possibility. |

Awareness.We need to spread awareness.You know,a lot of gambling related websites and blogs still promote them which becomes the primary source for the new gamblers to start playing there. The most easy awareness is google: betcoin.ag + scam How reliable are those links ? You can type almost any keyword with bitcoin + scam and it yields positive outputs.Take coinbase + scam for example.
What surprises me is,how do the players get to know about these sites in the first place ? It could help solve the problem from the root.My rough assumptions tell me it is due to blogs that promotes them. |

Weird.I opened your thread for the first time and got that invalid image link for the first image although preceding images loaded fine.After refreshing the page,everything loaded fine.Maybe it's the size of the image that is taking time to load ?
