Most likely the high difficulty, lower price, and EIP 1559 are having an impact. I had a few old RX GPUs listed for sale on Craiglist. I had 2 people who were going to buy the RX GPUs on the weekend. However as soon as EIP 1559 was announced they both cancelled on me. The price of ETH was much lower than it is now so people were already getting scared.
Also once the profitability drops way below $1/day/gpu then there will be alot of people who won't see the investment as wise. Like why buy a $1000 GPU to make less than $1/day. The ROI will be almost 3 years. Even if ROI was gauranteed many won't see it as a good investment and they will just put their money in stocks.
Funny 🤣, here I am waiting for a GPU to start doing 1$ per day before investing more money on GPU, I'm planning to build rigs with rtx3080 and AMD rx5700xt I'm sure this is coming by end of the year or early 2022, here In my country GPU price are still the same but I plan on buy from eBay or Amazon instead, can't wait. |

Believe me when this GPU unlock happens it's going to be for free, in the past years we are able to use Nvidia graphics card drivers (geforce) on quadro cards and they work like gtx1070 and 1080 just by modding the driver and GPu-Z read quadro cards as normal GTX cards..
Do not pay for anything moreover this is a scam attempt don't fall victim

I blame HNT team for building too low amount of the miner, many people can't get their hands on one but some youtuber out there have four HNT miners, I tried texting some through messages but they never replied me, this is a bad business @HNT team

Wish I can get in hand the HNT miner soon. Anyway for the Bobcatminer, it's only available for the European and North American models. I ordered 5 HNT miners for my friends and me. My first delivery date is around end july. If you order now, i think you will get the miner in october/november 2021. I think helium is good project for the future, do not hesitate! What continental version you need? most HNT miners only offer US and EU at the moment. Nebra offers CN470 but not available at the moment. What? Then I did the right thing for not buying this miner already 🤦 I'm from South Africa which means this HNT miners can't work, I have some friends in other part of Africa counties that want me to help them buy along with mine, thanks for sharing this information It would hurt buying something that won't work in your location or country |

I knew someone who built 260TB chia mining rig and he already won 4 Chia coins but the chances are too slim if you are going with very low amount of terabytes, I'm following chia Reddit channel everyday so that I won't miss out, hopefully pools will bring better results

Elon Musk talked about how BTC mining with electricity isn't environment friendly but he invented electric cars, in near future if this actually becomes popular electric cars will be available world wide and billions of vehicles will be charged by electricity so how is this environment friendly?
It's not environmentally friendly if you use government-provided electricity, but if you use solar electricity, Bitcoin mining will be fine. And Elon Musk's electric car uses only an Electric engine. Bullshit, does this brings any harm in any way? It's good that people have the option to use electric cars and it is cheap to use as compared to other fuels in my country but he should not make fUD about bitcoin mining electricity usage and its effect on the environment. Such statements are not appreciable by an influencer for any market. I am thinking about how the electric car does not affect the environment if he says bitcoin mining does.
If electricity is cheap to use what's wrong with mining BTC with this cheap electricity? Atleast those BTC miners also pays their electricity bill so what's Elon's problem here? Imagine billions of cars using electricity in future how is that environment friendly compare to mining BTC? |

Too many risks involved in promoting projects, if project didn't eventually turned scam they might decide to lower your reward or decide not to pay a single penny to bounty hunters, this have happened many times already, bounties isn't something to depend on honestly it's just try out your luck no matter how good you are at research

BUT if we could build proof-of-stake blockchains on a same level regarding security as proof-of-work chains, but consuming far less energy... shouldn't we stick to that on the long run?  (now please do not hit me ) It's consumers choice honestly, no one should force someone to go for proof of stake coins or proof of work coins, as for the environment friendly part that's a complete joke, electricity is unlimited and we use it in our daily lives, if I can be able to make money out of electricity and pay for it why the noise? Yes it is a failure because uniswap relies entirely on ETH network unlike new pancakeswap and apeswap that are running on BSC, honestly BSC solves the issue with high gas fee and I'm loving it, all you can do is wait till July for ETH to fix gas issue with EIP1559 update then even BSC won't make much difference anymore

There are some scam projects that you can burst upfront with just some research but unfortunately there are also some projects that looks so well developed but have some bad intent at mind already, there is no fixed way to identify scam projects but you can limit your risks by investing only what you can afford to lose
