221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making bets with my stupid friend on: April 21, 2024, 10:51:13 PM
It is just a friendly game between them and that explains why they don't go home with each other's money even when a winner is declared, the fact that they can bet on anything tells that it is all for fun and nothing serious attached to it. The challenge, lousiness, pride and boasts are simply the love language that binds their friendship together. I am not a frequent gambler but most times, I gambler in groups with friends.  Monies are not always involved most times but the fun and entertainment we enjoy while gambling is worth the time spent. Gambling is not all about money most times.

Except that it binds their friendship together, sometimes money can affect friendship. If it's for fun, that's cool. On the other flip of it, gamblers are meant to wager on games at least to win or lose with no strings attached. Who knows what the next person thinks of such a peer to peer gambling out of discussion or arguments. Those are just a means to kill time, as it may seem. But the player will never make a kill from such plays. I mean they wager considerably; I don't think it's something huge. Settling the argument with a prove other than staking money is better.

Moods do swing, not in their case, but in terms of playing with no rules to the game. Playing a card game with friends can result to gambling, and the rules are clearly known to all participants. Sometimes when an argument erupts, the rules resolve it. In this context of gambling, where Op and his friend, only wager money to remove each other's doubt on who is more advanced intellectually, can result to bigger argument in future. Though not wishing that for Op and his friend. But that's what I see of such behaviors, because money is involved.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: April 21, 2024, 10:38:20 PM
I think it really depends on the person who plays their bets so that they continue to play their bets after getting a win from the capital they brought to bet and this without them realizing it until they lose all the winnings and capital they bet.

In terms of predictions, no one can guarantee that we will be able to win the bet we are playing, so it is important for us when betting to be able to analyze well the bet we are going to bet so as not to waste the bet we placed and to be able to stop the game when it is over. get the win and enjoy the win.

Been able to stop after completing the bet, you set it up and you must follow that strategy, most of the time you'll waste the opportunity becuase instead of completely quits after you made it, you choose to continue and try to find more luck, leading you to waste the winning and place you a risk of losing everything back.

Worse, instead of making money, you lose that opportunity and aside from it, you also lose your capital and regret that decision as it should be happening if you just follow your created strategy.

Gambling accurately may not be in existence, except for appropriate techniques on limitations. Players on the increase struggle tooth and nail with their gambling limits. The stoppage time always gets interesting for many players, that they add up more minutes until it gets to another hour. If money was won previously the player definitely will lose it out again, before he learns his ways to stop the session. It's wrong to let the lack of money stop our session. Else it means the player failed the self-control test. The house can be tricky such that a gambler will win the moment he decides to stop. Out of excitement, he'd continue playing.

Strategically the house is winning over such gamblers to stay in the casino. With further delays the player can convince himself to deposit more money. These changes happen in nano seconds and affects the player's finance, for a long time. Pains of losing money will revolve round the player, reminding him of gambling, then push him to play again. Losers tend to gamble more than the winners. Who are the winners? those who are able to stop once their designated time is due. Nothing bothers such players more than controlling their wagering habit. So, those impulses that push around loser to gamble again, doesn't control a player with a sufficient self-control. He'd play when he wants to, not because he lost money and wants to regain it.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 21, 2024, 10:19:55 PM
Gambling wrecks lives and families. Everyone's got a tale, right? It's wiring gone wrong, not badness. The brain is hijacked. We adore blaming others, but what happens? Yes, the gambler is responsible for their actions, but there's more to the story. It's in our DNA to want excitement. Calling addiction an illness is too simple. It's an illness, but it taps into something basic that the modern world doesn't always provide.  Everyone wants that next high, that feeling of life. Replacing gambling might work. But that BIG WIN craving? That's hard to erase. Understanding what humans, not just addicts, want is key

Fun is part of this disaster. Gambling for fun can be fascinating and harmless. Man, that balance is tough. How do you maintain enjoyment while containing the gloom that threatens?

Continuously wagering little amount of money levels the playground between enjoying the game and dealing with unhappiness. However, not every gambler enjoys wagering small amount of money at all times. Adjusting the wagering spirit to an expensive level, changes the whole concept of enjoying gambling by wagering in bits. Not paying attention to details affects the way some gamblers think. Wagering as a high roller, an amount high enough to get a player uncomfortable, when lost, doesn't encourage a sustainable fun in gambling. Such players understand the deep pains of losing money in gambling, through a first experience.

The anxiety it may cause the player will push him around lurking for means of recovering back his normal financial status. Once the brain losses focus, it requires lots of brain power to trace it back to the right form. Most times the excitement we once seek, leads gamblers to an unbearable financial loss. Shifting from one strategy to another, also demands that a player controls his moves not to hit the wrong choice. A player who, by wagering gradually, maintains his ideology of gambling as an entertainment, only gets a slap in the wrist for his mistakes. While greedy players will face the music for not managing properly their finance. Every player gets what they deserve.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: April 21, 2024, 09:59:11 PM
It's devastating to restrict a child from using his smartphone, the same way it is inadmissible, gambling in their presence. Kids don't have the right to participate in gambling. Their rights are to play video games. When they see a parent gambling on screen, the child at first will assume his dad is playing video games. And that's what gambling is, looking at it. So, if a child is not told of gambling being wagering money to win more, he'd be beyond thought to accept his dad or mom is playing mere games just as he does on the TV. Unfortunately, society is broad, and kids now stay much far away from their parents, due to school activities. Grownups don't have quality access to their kids because of work activities.

Parenting is the toughest job out there. Our kids are watching us, learning every single day. If we gamble casually, guess what? They'll think its fine, and thats a path we dont want them on.

Solutions arent some complex plan. Its about being present - not just around, but truly involved.  Talk to them about stuff, even the difficult topics like the dangers of gambling. Kids deserve clear answers. We gotta get back to basics. Invest time in teaching, not just saying "dont do this." Thats the best protection we can give them. Open communication, guidance... thats the parenting gold standard, and thats what makes a difference.

We are in a generation where nobody wants to do, perfectly, the parenting job. It's manly done halfway, due to the economic condition of the world. I see parents on social media battling with four different jobs, that's quite unbearable. So, the level of home training capable of truly improving a positive lifestyle of a child, growing up, is hard to attain. Most times the time to do the teaching would be the child's favorite sleeping moment. However, there is time for giving out the best teachings to kids, just that it's a resting time for the parents. You see that the schedule in some families is not collaborating, such that the trouble only worsens. Hence, the best thing to do, is not gambling when around those kids.

A parent who has the luxury to gamble around his kids, can use that moment to have quality conversation with them, and teach them about the downside of gambling. Also add the advantages of gambling. The problem most players face today, is that they never had an idea of any good aspect of gambling. Within them, addiction is the only thing that happens to gamblers. Not knowing that gambling could be used to develop self-control, time management, etc. Starting out by sharing the good things found in gambling, can open a responsible gambling thought on the child, when he gets to adulthood. People think much of addiction, that's why, in my response, they get addicted.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: April 21, 2024, 09:43:30 PM
Many people gamble for more than fun. Even the best difficulties are problems. Taking charge is the greatest option. People get hooked chasing wins, thinking things will change. Big error. Admitting you must shift course takes great courage. Honestly, if you cant stop yourself after significant losses, you need help. The smartest play in the book is this. New hobbies and healthy habits are where the winning happens. The best form of control is reclaiming your life.

Gambling addiction is something every responsible gambler tries to avoid making the right decisions during gambling activities. Most non addicts have the ability to control their emotions and rationally calculate how much they spend and stake as these help them monitor their gambling activities as well as habits. Most gambling addicts on the other hand are unable to financially manage how much they spend on placing bets during gambling activities. Majority of gambling addicts are usually perceived as gambling addicts and irresponsible persona because they usually lose more often than they win. Gambling addiction is something every gambler tries to avoid however some persons fail to do the needful and unknowingly to them they gradually drift into addiction.

It's right to point out that gamblers try to avoid addiction. Getting into a compulsive gambling attitude is not anybody's choice. Unexpectedly, most players get addicted, and later discovers it at a stage where nothing can be done to get saved, other than concealing the problem. The losses gambling addiction causes is not monetary based, alone. No. Players lose the love their family once shared, emotional stability and lots more. Addiction is destructive to the mental peace of any player who finds himself in such a life situation. Gamblers regardless of their level of self-control work very hard to abstain themselves from gambling addiction. Different life challenges also affect how gamblers think.

It can, also, spoil the gambling routine a player once had and lead him to get compulsive. That's the reason no player is completely free from getting addicted. In addition, addiction has no prior warning, a responsible player may begin to shift his low rolling technique to try high rolling and he could get stuck in the risky lane where he'd be unable to trace back his previous low rolling technique. Addiction could erupt from there, as he unknowing forgets he was once responsible, and begin to chase after his lost money. Greed is not something any human will easily escape. And the casino uses it to get hold of players to spend more in the house.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: April 21, 2024, 09:25:41 PM
You said it well. But here's the thing: A person who is addicted to gambling cannot stop gambling. This is the whole problem of addiction. If a person is able to stop gambling, then it will no longer be an addiction. It's like telling an alcoholic who has a big problem with it, stop drinking if you feel like you're addicted to it.

The addiction of gambling is even worse than that of alcohol,in fact alcohol with a little desire and going into a dis intoxication rehabilitation clinic they have a huge success rate of well over 95% who make it out of it without the body needing alcohol anymore. In gambling is a completely different story as money is involved and the human nature is greedy, they want more and more money and riches, they keep playing until they lose everything if they are addicted, even people who go in the rehab centers to recover from their gambling addiction has a lower success rate,in fact it is 50-50 here, only half of those who go there manage to cure addiction, statistics showing that gambling addiction is even worse to be fought than the addiction of alcohol.

Gambling addiction, yes, is hard to tackle, due to the fact it meddles with the way players think. Winning big in gambling is another promise that never leaves the brain of a player. However, while battling with addiction, is not simple to forsake the amount of money lost in the process. It's a mental disorder that continuously stresses the addict out every minute of his life. Unlike alcohol where the addict gets a clear thought once the alcohol content subsides. Addicts struggle with having a clear mind out of gambling, once addicted. Although addicted players at some stage wants to be free, they still find it hard to quit.

The whole process starting from figuring out the addiction and getting the player to therapy is not simple. Addiction causes a chronic mental disorder and must be followed with patience. The healing process continues even after the gambler is fine. Like you said, swogerino, alcoholic easily stops drinking, but a gambler will gamble still after getting healed. The only difference would be that he does it moderately, and not compulsive. To quit gambling completely as a gambler is almost impossible. What is most important is control the way we play.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 21, 2024, 09:08:52 PM
Sincerely, I'm intrigued by your response on players who ponder on their past losses. Those memories can't be erased, but it's a sign the gambler has no new option that picks his interest. When on break, it means eliminating any worries about gambling. It's like the gambling habit is paused and won't be resumed until the designated time for the vacation elapses. A player whose facial reaction worsens out of his thoughts on past gambling losses isn't doing himself a nice favor. Changing games may not help actually. Due to the continues involvement in games. That makes no changes.

Switching from one game to another still takes out money from the gambler. Hence, trying to stop a losing streak by switching games, is not healthy. The idea of a break is quite better and more reasonable. As it helps the player to reminisce on new ideas in developing a better gambling strategy. One can't think further if he's still tied down with gambling on unique games. Slot games that don't require certain experiences wouldn't have any effect in affecting how the player enjoys the game. This means that he'd easily play other slot games, which wouldn't help stop the losing streak.
I share your points, they make so much sense, and I believe that anything we do in any risky activities should be erased from our minds if they are negative. This is not only because of the activity but for the sake of our health and moral self and for us to be able to be focused on what is in front of us in future and not pondering on what has passed. The past has passed, it should be left behind and that is also the reason why we should use the money we can afford to lose in gambling to make it easy for us. Also, I've condemned the supposed advice of the OP from the beginning and hinted that he was just lucky, and nothing more. I even dared him to replicate a thing like this before advising people to do the same.

If he can replicate it 3 times while he changed games and won big solely due to that, then I will believe him partially. Anything about gambling is not easy, we can only be lucky, but we should not misplace the fact that luck is different from chance and when you are lucky, just know that you are lucky and do not believe there is a perfect arithmetic or reason for it. This advice is more important in casino games, you can't be smarter than the house and the algorithms you are playing against.

However, trying other games is not necessarily bad, one may try it as it is not also good to play a game all the time. What if there are opportunities lurking in the others? This diversification was what, at least, helped the OP in his case.

Right Op has a unique gambling technique for his readers, that worked on his end, which is a nice purpose to not try completely someone else's strategy. Especially, when it advises players to try other games, instead of going for a break. The game changes whenever a player is not well prepared on a specific strategy. Op may have been lucky and as you said, he may be unlucky trying same strategy again. Although not all players care much about some other person's success in gambling. Most players are playing on unique stance circulating mainly on their personal interest.

So, if a technique as cruelly risky as what Op is portraying grasps the interest of a player, it's still cool he tries it out. But out of experience that'll be hardly the right decision, except for Op. It's always disappointing to try again something that once worked, and it didn't work. Gambling is one good example of such experiences. Wins depends on luck or the house. It doesn't show up always, hence, no right method works consistently like taking a long break. When in a losing streak.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 08:52:25 PM
I don't think freelance influencers care about their target audience, it's a task for the advertiser not the blog. Influencers are focused on maintaining the blog, to keep it updated. They need money to run the blog efficiently. Advertisers like casinos, offer them enough funds to place those ads. Because they, the casino, see the blogger discuss gambling in his online space. Most gambling ads are placed on game related blogs. Else the conversion rate will be low. However, advertisers may not care about the niche, if the influencer has enormous number of followers.

Such ads are disseminated across such pages, because out of those millions of followers, they'll be thousands of gamblers. Who will be interested in trying out the advertised gambling platform. Moreover, in the context of this thread, advertisers may want to convert non gamblers in the page to gamblers, by placing such ads aggressively. That is the influencer has to promote gambling on every single content he creates. Hence, kids visiting such page will one day get interested in gambling. Especially if the ads are spiced with a cash prize. Internet users are mainly tricked with giveaways and related ideas. "Money call the shots or makes the mare go", so, the influencers can't resist some cash offers for an ad placement, even when they dislike placing such ads.

I think that every influencer likely knows their target audience quite well. Given that influencers have built up a large following by consistently producing content that engages their audience, they should naturally have a good understanding of what resonates with their followers.

Not sure if you're aware of the aggressive advertising technique casinos implement on the internet. The advertiser at some point understands that gambling is a broad niche and lots of people will definitely get interested in gambling once money is flashed on their computer screen. Hence, the influencer may be away of the followers on their blog, yet it doesn't change the fact that they'll get over such thoughts when money is offered to them. Influencers are well aware of underage followers viewing the page, but that's not the aim of the project. Money is the aim and objective behind the building of the account. Not some kids viewing the page.

Casinos also cares about the niche the blog is built under, to some extent, but not when the budget is wide, and the house needs lots of outreach on the web. It's a disadvantage to the kids and society, and a huge win for the casino. In this deal, the consumer's age is not what matters, the casino assumes everyone knows gambling is not for underaged players. But the young people also don't care about this, I think the negligence is on every internet user involved in the ad distribution circle. Those kids also have no self-control, that's why they go after a game not meant for kid, for money's sake. Everybody needs the money, the casino, influencers and kids.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: April 21, 2024, 08:37:52 PM
Trusting any form of gambling technique that promises players an increase in profits yields disappointment. Not sure if anyone else is surprised that such gamblers don't get disappointed when an expert's prediction returns void. Does it mean a level of understanding is met before subscribing to play with the expert's predictions? It's not clear why players despite losing out in the hands of an expert, go ahead to gamble using an expert's prediction. However, naive gamblers are not intellectually equipped on the ground where these fixed games came to be. Generally, nothing consistently works in gambling, except for setting limits and maintaining self-control, which helps gamblers stay clear of addiction.

On the level of fixed games or gambling with expert predictions, it's a niche where individuals make money from their subscribers or users. Two or more fake vouches can convince inexperienced players to sign up for such services. I once looked them up on a telegram channel regarding the expert's response when his games don't yield any wins. I realized he comes in not to take responsibility, but to blame it on the game, in a way well thought out that it'll convince the gamblers he's not at fault. I think those experts are also taking advantage of the weak emotional strength some gamblers possess.
You're astonished gamblers trust experts? That's expected. The mind-bender is that hope endures. They're following emotion, not reasoning. Gamblers buy experts' advice for a chance to win large and feel right. Experts resemble illusionists. Their secret is selling, not predicting. They cede control, and when things go wrong, it's luck, the team, or whatever. Accountability? Please. A hustle, plain and simple. This scam works because it exploits vulnerabilities. That gambler may be broke and looking for a change. Experts promise "this time could be different", which is hard to refuse. The only winners in this vicious cycle are those selling false promises

The whole thoughts of gamblers towards their experts, though true, is quite hard to admit. I don't accept such behaviors of some naive players, over unrealistically made-up promises. Which can be deciphered easily with no hassle, yet the subscribers are unable to figure things out themselves. The problem as you pointed out is the emotional control the experts use in deceiving the players. Nothing beats being in the right state of mind, in any activity of life. Additionally, being fully informed about a particular niche like gambling helps in reducing the number of people who would fall for this ever-booming tricky business.

A lot of online marketplaces possess more than two vendors who sell such services. Claiming to have made multiple players win a jackpot. It could be, just about your turn to win, the expert would convince his naive customers. Piling up more funds from them, added to what they lose in the casino. Such player losses both ways this time, hence doubling his emotional stress really quick. However, the struggle is on the player alone, as the expert barely spend his time worrying about the game or analyzing matches. The dumbest of gamblers can wake up in the morning and announce to everyone in his web space that he's now an expert after a brief track record of wins. Luckily if he has some followers, he'll begin to sell his predictions.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: April 21, 2024, 03:00:14 PM
When someone playing gambling too often, he can becomes addicted to gambling. He doesn't realizes what happens to him. If someone have a spare time and choose to playing gambling, he must be carefully and have a limitations because gambling can tempts him easily. He will not stops playing gambling when he lose some money. And he will keeps playing gambling and recovers his lose because he thinks he still have a chance to wins. That's why if someone have a spare time, he must not use his times to playing gambling instead doing the other things so that will not makes him to spends money. We can playing gambling but we must knows when to stops ourselves so we don't have to lose much money. And we must remember to take a break from gambling if we thinks we already lose some money and to avoids more loses.

That's when the player has no good gambling purpose. Emotional stress is a problem for most gamblers. Handling it is not simple, and taking control while in such a condition is another huge trouble. Most gamblers are stressed emotionally, and it demeans their self-control when gambling. I see this loss of control as the main reason why players are chasing losses. The house's goal is to generate lots of money, and naive players out of greed also want to rake enough money to suit their fantasies. Thier perspectives or views of making huge money, drives the player to make mistakes. Since gambling is designed to help players relax money should not have been any gambler's purpose of being part of the game. However, everyone somehow needs extra money, but gambling isn't a nice place for side hustle.

Yet inexperienced players get deceived to think they can earn more through gambling. That's why they invest both time and money aggressively to hit the jackpot. The more every gambler craves for the jackpot, the harder it gets to win. I see the jackpot as method for attracting more gamblers to join the casino. Since the house advertises players who won the jackpot. Lots of casinos even take it to TV stations to show they've awarded a player a whooping amount of money. In a nutshell, the strongest drive and purpose that leads gamblers to participate in gambling, the jackpot, is mainly for advertisement.

True, betting while consuming alcoholic beverages is obviously very dangerous, not only for the body or health but it can also make us experience a significant amount of loss because obviously alcohol can take away a person's consciousness while they have to make decisions to bet, and it is a sure thing for them to end up making decisions that are not in accordance with their abilities such as betting very large amounts which in the end when consciousness has begun to recover then only regret is left.

I think one of the reasons why casinos provide alcoholic beverages is so that gamblers lose control when they are betting, as I discussed above that when you lose consciousness then it means that it is likely that the casino will get a much bigger profit, because when gambling is not based on consciousness and a rational attitude in terms of making decisions then obviously you may not experience any doubts at all in terms of making every decision. Physical casinos can sometimes be very entertaining because of the exhilarating festive atmosphere but sometimes they can also trap us.

Alcoholics who gamble doesn't enjoy the game due to excessive loss of money. Casinos offer drinks to keep players entertained with a interestingly soft music. These treats are set aside to spice up the environment for players to relax better and enjoy their session. While on the online gambling space, players who gamble on the influence of alcohol hurts themselves a lot. They could wake up to an empty bankroll. Alcohol and gambling are both addictive in nature, and players who drink a lot of alcohol are pruned to addiction or compulsive gambling.

It's also a double trouble to be addicted to alcohol and gambling. The player will have nothing left on him on the long run, as his funds will go more into alcohol, then what is left will be swept off by compulsive gambling. Players who are alcoholics undergo lots of challenges but can't help it. As gambling addiction requires a levelheaded thought to resolve or stop. Solving such a problem involving alcohol and gambling addiction will be more difficult compared to a person with one addiction.

A nice scenario is the football game you explained above, not all players or gamblers would be capable of dealing with the analysis of a game successfully. However, a team at a disadvantage in the form of good players may lose out on a game. But, with the help of a guide to a player who isn't seriously involved in reviewing football games, he could figure out that a team isn't in complete form to win against their opponent. A gambler should spend time with other players and learn ideas for analyzing games like football. Aside from an aid or guide, they'll be able to help deal with creating their predictions with confidence. The problem is a lack of confidence. The main reason they run to a self-proclaimed expert for help.

A naive gambler loses his control the moment he faces the casino. With lesser skills to make the right decision in a game. Their option will increase the moment someone convinces them to help for a cut on their money. Gambling experts are not meant to bother themselves looking out for other players to issue out their predictions to, since they're experts, they're meant to be consistently winning and making profits. These are some thoughts gamblers should have in mind before subscribing to those experts. Why are they not winning enough for themselves?

Yes this is why we often say that in gambling it will not be possible for someone to analyze the game 100% accurately, because as I said above that there are always unexpected things that can happen on the field when the match is already running which is the reason why I prefer you or anyone to bet in their own way and their own predictions. On the other hand, in my opinion, even if you study certain ideas that lead to the goal of knowing exactly about the outcome of the match by spending a lot of time studying it, in my opinion, in the end we still cannot be sure that the results will be completely in accordance with our predictions or analysis, it can happen because of something unexpected that happens on the field that may reverse the situation.

When someone hears that there are people who say that they are experts in terms of betting predictions then most likely at first glance maybe the person will immediately put trust in the expert, but if for example you return to using a healthy mindset and a rational point of view then you should not easily believe the words of those who say they are experts. But on the other hand, it does not mean that it is impossible that they will use the services of experts when gambling, and this can happen when someone is dominated by emotions so that they make decisions based on desperation due to defeat in the previous session, which in the end maybe they will take shortcuts without any consideration and put their trust in experts by putting money at stake.

Trusting any form of gambling technique that promises players an increase in profits yields disappointment. Not sure if anyone else is surprised that such gamblers don't get disappointed when an expert's prediction returns void. Does it mean a level of understanding is met before subscribing to play with the expert's predictions? 233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making bets with my stupid friend on: April 21, 2024, 11:14:37 AM
Gambling is not for everyone, we should choose wisely and understand what we've signed up for and become contributing to the system. Perhaps our friends plays a major roles in our growth when it comes to gambling, be competent to leveled our strategies. Making reasonable friends will not be so hard these days. We know how compulsory it is for us to handle responsibilities in the system, be capable of acknowledging the risks involved.

Friends who end arguments and discussions with a bet don't understand very well the concept of gambling. Arguments are not meant to trigger the anger of somebody else to the extent of wagering money. Those discussions lead to serious arguments because they don't closely relate to one another. Nothing special about meaningless arguments. Even though it appears meaningful, seeking for a prove is the right thing to do. Choosing gambling as a way to end the long overdue arguments can only make the loser get angrier. And when in that same gathering next time, he'd want to try again. Hence, that gathering of friends will continuously end in an argument. As everyone involved would want to win their lost money.

If Op isn't interested in such a friendship for tagging them as "stupid" I think he should avoid their company. A proper gambling circle does it with games, not arguments. Unless the game is in the argument, staking money on quarrels is inadmissible. Peers easily influence one another emotionally, and when the energy is weak and focused on brainless ideas, people in that circle of friends will get stuck exhibiting brainless behavior. By hanging out with irresponsible folks, one can't obtain a responsible attitude. I don't remember placing bets on arguments. It never gets directly to me, it's just an argument. I've seen people do it, but I have not seen people who spend time often betting on arguments.

But in the right sense,  anyone can control they addictions control and the easiest way it to gamble with a limited amount of money.

An addicted gambler finds it hard to control their addiction. Instead, the addiction controls the gambler emotionally, thereby putting him under the influence of compulsive gambling for a long period. Leaving the player with no energy to bring his bad gambling habit to a halt. On the other flip, I recently read a research paper that claims addicted gamblers can get over the problem themselves. It was seen as impossible in my view, when I was first reading psychotherapy. Where it's stated by therapists that addiction can't be solved alone, without someone else's help. At this point, it sounds confusing, but nothing in literature is absolutely right.

I thought about a longtime friend who was just about getting addicted to gambling but later ended his involvement with gambling activities. I was not, in a bit, interested in knowing how he did it, but I'm a bit clear he did it alone. I know of someone else whose girlfriend helped him stop his gambling habit, and he's never done gambling even in her absence; a month or two away from him. While I'm certain these are rare cases, they're players who got so compulsive that it was impossible to survive it alone. So, using the term "anyone can control their addiction" is wrong, as not everyone is capable of dealing with gambling addiction all alone. A lot of players suffer addiction till date because no avenue of help is close by.

I think this should not be taking for granted because children are very funny, what they see while growing up that is what they will pick up and grow with more expecially the ones that can have serious effect in their life. When children grows to adapt gambling lifestyle from the people around them it is very difficult for them to be free from it. We must learn to make our gambling lifestyle to be a thing of private expecially when their kids around us.
Our kids, they're uprising and swiftly learn about every crucial information coming their way. The kids should know about gambling during their teen and also taught the advantage a d disadvantages of gambling. That will become a decision for them to either gamble or leave it and focused on another prominent activity that will keep the incoming rolling in. Kids of this current generation, they adapt every single detail and know the basis of the gambling system because they've access to them with their smart phones and gadgets.

Hence, quality home training is rarely obtained in the current era. Unless those homeschooling kids have enough time to teach and watch over them. Some kids come home meeting an empty home, filled with gadgets and electronics, and no single human. It's quite boring, they'll hang out with other kids like them, whose parents are still at work. The lessons they learn there also matter in how a child behaves. Oftentimes, nothing meaningful is discussed, and gambling is mainly discussed, as they want extra funds. To compete with other kids in school. Hence, the societal struggle to balance our economy has affected the quality of home training kids once had in the past. Some parents after work are exhausted and would want to gamble at any given time regardless of whether the child is watching or not.

Kids are smart, he'll begin to wonder why a full-grown adult will get genuinely sad over a video game. There, their instinct can get to flashback on the conversation he had with other kids on gambling, he'll match the reactions on dad's face, and understand his dad gambles as well. If ads and peers influence the child's thinking, seeing his mom or dad gamble validates his decisions. Nothing stops a child from doing or trying what he saw his dad or mom do. Parents, I think, should be considerate and make a reasonable time and space for their gambling activities. Where the kids wouldn't find or see them. At least where you'd see the child first, then change the tab. Simple practices such as this help furnish a healthy home. Health is wealth.

Most of the people gamble due to their greed so if they win in gambling then they are not thankful for that reward but utilise that sum again in gambling which does not guarantee that he will win this time also. If a person accepts both win and loss then he will not gamble regularly but will gamble in limited timing with limited cash.

At first everyone will say that he has control over his gambling abilities but when the loss and greed increase he will lose his control over his feelings and will feel happy after each opportunity that he will find after a loss.

Controlling emotions for a gambler is very hard and gambling acts as a poison that spread slowly and its toxicity increases with the passage of time.

The emotions of gamblers can get injured by gambling. Not just about the loss of money the player faces, various factors like continually experiencing anxiety lead gamblers close to depression. The game is designed to lessen the emotional strength of a gambler till he's not capable of controlling how he wagers money. As you said, the emotional pain gradually spreads till the player is unable to understand what he's doing. That's the reason most gambler's emotional control is in the mud. Gambling processes that consist of ongoing losses rather than winning, affect probably the feelings of a gambler. Thereby, causing the player some harm. Which he never expected to happen to him.

The emotional struggle kicks out sadness and anger on the gambler, hence his decisions will be fueled by it. Playing with anxiety won't be fun, and the gambler has a low advantage in making nice decisions. In a battle context, the house handicaps the gambler not to have many chances of winning. The house wouldn't have made as much money as they do if they were seeking donations to help run the business. So, they devised a method that'll make gamblers enjoy the game and spend more time gambling. Thereby, yielding more profits for the casino. Enough to clear their bills and pay workers.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: April 20, 2024, 09:02:30 PM
I'm not sure that gambling every day can increase our chances. I don't fully agree with this idea because I bet on sporting events. But if I played casino games, I would take more risks on the days I won. I would gamble every day with little money and test my luck and then take risks according to the situation. But as I said before, I don't trust my luck in casino games, because most of the time I have bad results. I lose money. So instead I bet on sports events. If there are no good matches in the fixtures, I don't bet. If there are good matches and good analysis, I bet on them.

Casino games are quite addictive due to its optimized fast nature of providing results. Unlike sport gambling where the gambler has lots of time to decide on whether to pick a specific team or not based on their past analysis of performance and action. That doesn't remove the fact that everyday participant in sports games will also not influence the chances of winning. Should I call it addiction or greed, some gamblers who wager money on teams they've got no valid information on their performances, are close to facing the same fate with slot players. The slot player is at an advantage because of his knowledge of this occurrence, based on how slot games were designed to operates.

Sports gaming is quite good if a player is weekly wagering money on his favorite teams, which he's made some strong analysis on during the weekdays. Doing this helps a player to have enough time to think, more than a slot player who does not need to run any analysis. Capable of influencing the results of his game. However, a well-scrutinized sports analysis doesn't guarantee a gambler would win the game. But players still learn from doing this weekly research on football games. Another valuable asset of sports gambling, it helps players to be advanced in sports events.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: April 20, 2024, 08:48:54 PM
Greediness is nearly every human's behavior, if not, a jackpot winner, wouldn't gamble again. Players wager back their jackpot earnings, despite having enough. We all seek for more money once what we once wished for is gotten. The casino uses this human reaction towards money to milk back all their money including the player's savings. While gambling, it's important to have in mind the game is connected to our emotions. Humans emotionally crave money or fantasies, a place where money is flashed to people will make them involuntarily want to go there.

Out of greed, most players will choose to frequent such places where gambling is practiced. Till they're not able to stop visiting the place or online platform. Also, those reactions happen unknowingly to the player, at a level he would control his choices of whether to visit there or not. I don't think addiction allows its victim the luxury of calculating their expenses. Win or lose doesn't mean a thing to them, the player may need extra bodies to help him detect his troubles. That's the advantage of opening up to people about our gambling habit. People can easily watch over our behaviors.

There are tons of situations or happenings that those jackpot winners did really lose all of their money back into the casino or gambling itself. When it comes to greed then this is something that always been part of human nature or behavior on which on the time that we are speaking or talking about money then this is something that makes us interested and would really be keeping on dealing with it until the very end.
Its true that people should focus up that much into the possible loses that they would get or would be able to make instead on thinking about being a winner because once you do have this kind of awareness in mind
then you could really just that completely stop yourself if you wanted to or on the time that you've seen that you are already making profits but since you could be able to stop but doesnt mean that you wont really be coming back to gambling again on another day. This has been always the scenario that you would really be tending to deal up with. Make use of the amount that you can afford to lose as always so that you wont really be that making yourself that get stressed too much.

The challenges shouldn't be the reason why gamblers will quit the game. Its captivating nature drags more players to try again next time, despite losing out big previously in the game. What is most important is not allowing those challenges to destroy our lifestyle. Gamblers are facing difficulties in unique gambling sessions. Issues hard enough to sidetrack a player's prior ideas to a wrong and abstract plan. The player on his end would accept he's utilizing a smart strategy, but from other people's observation of his behavior, he'll be hurting himself financially. However, not all gamblers get scared of the challenges, due to the money that gambling offers. Even newbies tend to play more after experiencing few wins.

The money comes sooner that players can't get over playing again. Making fast profits is another gambling setting or strategy that has led multiple players to compulsive gambling. How they subside the energy meant for their daily business, and focus on gambling, shocked me in the past, but don't recently. When I found out they're made to see gambling as a business. Because it can yield wealth. This thought is viral and widely accepted by lots of gamblers, showing how gamblers don't care much about responsible gambling. If they were, players would have been craving for the truth they once sought in gambling. Most players depend on what other gamblers do and tell them. Their knowledge of responsible gaming is limited.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: April 20, 2024, 08:32:22 PM
When people lose their bet, the first thought that comes to their mind is that the casinos are not fair to them but I must tell you for free that once you lose a bet, it is normal and that's part of gambling, in gambling you must lose, you don't expect to win always in gambling, I must state categorically that our mindset deceive us sometimes but we should understand that the matches played are transparent and the result you see in the screen or live is what is being used to make the finally decision of your bet, so it is better for us to think straight by expecting two things to happen when we place a bet and those two things are, once you have a stake on a match it is either you lose or you win and know one will be held accountable for the outcome of your bet.

Having in mind that gambling deals with loss or loss, helps a gambler to focus on what matters, playing responsibly. Picking a win as a priority will put confusion in the gambler's thoughts. Due to the settings of gambling, which portrays both results with wins not showing up easily like losses. Going all in is a gambling strategy that requires some proven certainties before utilizing it. Blinding wagering all in will be detrimental to the player, as he's not sure whether he'd win or not. Games where all-in can be used safely differ, I'd personally do that on poker rather than on slot games. As slots results are not guaranteed. But with good observations of other player's game, a gambler can make big wins in poker games using the same risky all-in strategy.

The disadvantage of going all in is that it can be addictive. And the strategy's disadvantage is nothing close to its advantages in any form. When addicted to going all in, the player will never have any funds left with him, whenever in the casino. Additionally, it's not an enjoyable gambling strategy. It shortens the game and leaves the player with a one-time luck trial. Splitting the funds into smaller pieces grants the player the opportunity to enjoy more time in the casino. Even enables the player to have a second thought about his decision while in the game.
