221  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: December 11, 2020, 10:26:49 AM
The market is quite volatile. What will be the next move in the market. The volatility of the market in comparison to the past has decreased much, as there is huge progress in the adoption of bitcoin in the global market. The market which is found above $19000 by the week starting has now come to a price below $18000. What'll be the next move.
This shows that there is increasing trust among the public about how crypto is. We can also see that bitcoin is currently having a great momentum where the current bulls are quite good compared to 2 years ago, and I think we will be able to see a new ATH if this continues and also many large institutions are following
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: December 11, 2020, 10:22:20 AM
Guys which coin do you think will be the next ethereum ?
no coin worthy of being called "the next Ethereum", These are the coins that many people call (unilaterally) the "Ethereum killer"

  • EOS
  • Tron
  • Polkadot
  • BNB

we must be aware that each coin is unique, cannot replace or kill each other, and can only steal part of the market..
Polkadot and NEO have the opportunity to compete, but to beat and replace is very difficult. seeing that ethereum is the crypto with the most users, and also as one of the crypto that made crypto famous, I'm not sure there is anything that can replace ethereum for now
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If crowdfunding started from IEO on: December 11, 2020, 10:13:41 AM
The major difference that it would have made is to reduce the scam rate that people suffered and also make it easy to tract and hunt anyone that tries to exit scam because an exchange is involved.
Yes, they have both responsibilities and ties to the exchange. although not all exchanges are the same credibility, at least by looking at which exchange the project will do IEO, we can distinguish the quality of the project. here we can see that IEOs are safer and also have a clearer structure in crowdfunding
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is about wake up as sleeping Dragon on: December 11, 2020, 10:09:00 AM
Waking up as sleeping dragon is honestly the last thing I'd expect from litecoin where it's already stagnant for too long and there's just no innovation coming out from litecoin anymore.

It's already good at this current price point right now for bitcoin's alternative to send money for those who hate XRP and ETH with relatively cheap fee but honestly if there's any upcoming pump in the future, other coin deserves it more than litecoin.
I think Litecoin might be able to highlight their strengths (low fees) as a material for their campaign, at least so they can compete with the top 5. But in terms of profit, I think XRP is still the top right now. having a positive price as well as a good curve makes xrp one of the most profitable cryptos at the moment, although I don't like them because of centralization.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 08, 2020, 11:23:53 AM
bear in mind never to put in more than what you can afford to lose.

These defi guys are all out there to make money asap, don't give them more money. Sit on BTC and hodl!
These are iron rules in crypto. lest you do anything reckless just because the project "looks" legit. at least do a thorough research and ask for a smart contract audit if necessary, so that no one is hurt
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 08, 2020, 11:20:20 AM
Just like you, I also hold hundreds of coins but my 90%+ coin not listed that I am holding even there are some coins that are dirt cheap that I can not cover up the gas fee if I sell it. Greediness leads to this situation honestly speaking If I sold it in 2018 I must have good backup money with me for future investment but things are totally opposite. I don't have any of the coins you hold at the moment and my planning is to hold my coins till they give me a good profit.
I agree with Greediness part. I would have billed bags if sold on time. But a very good lesson learned indeed.
Yep, I also experienced this myself. even though I have gotten a pretty good profit, but still my greed makes me go through a situation where my tokens are worthless. I plan to save it if the price goes up, and the crypto crash makes me unlucky, but it's what it's all happening and the experience is expensive
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects the most in making timely decisions in the world of Crypto? on: December 07, 2020, 12:07:43 PM
You said what matters is the ability to forecast? Really? Do you even know what forecast means? Haven't you seen where by forecasts fails? This have happened like thousands of time before, you can't develop the ability to forecast crypto because it's totally unpredictable, the best way to limit loss and have high chance of gains is understanding what you put your money on and also buy at the bottom
Forecast is quite helpful if your guess is correct. Most forecasts fail because crypto is volatile. if we can buy at a low price, and we gain momentum, then that's great because we are sure to make a profit. analysis of a project is the most important thing and maybe forecasts are not suitable for the short term because forecasts are always related to developments
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: December 07, 2020, 12:02:09 PM
The impatience ones find it hard to wait for the perfect time, they are always in haste to make money, I've learn alot since I came into digital world of cryptocurrency since 2017 and I  keep seeing that crypto is all about the right time, there is a time to buy and there is a time to sell, that's not the end, it's like a God damn circle, time to buy will always come around and time to sell will always come around too
The power of analysis as well as vision is very important to be able to determine when is the best time to buy crypto. most people always want quick profits, and that's normal. what we have to control is how we can buy at the lowest price and get a certain profit. as long as it's profitable, that's enough
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to DeFi? on: December 07, 2020, 11:58:00 AM
DeFi is a great method by which the technology encourages us to escape from manipulation by third parties, but unfortunately it is used by some for its own benefit. If we look at the current crypto space, we find many projects called "defi" but without offering products or real use cases. and worse, many people fall into the scammer trap because they can't tell the difference between good and bad projects. This may be just a small drawback of defi, but I hope we can keep moving forward to make the way of investing in crypto better.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: December 07, 2020, 11:52:46 AM
And also a lot of negative stigma on ICOs because of the many scam projects. In terms of security, ICOs are also far behind IEOs, and investors certainly don't want to risk their money to fundraising structures whose security is weak or even uncertain.
It is only natural for the stigma to exist after so many scam projects. And the worst part is that even after so many scam projects, most of the ICO promoters failed to ensure adequate security mechanism, to improve the confidence level of the investors. They continue to refuse requests for third party escrow of the project funds and independent audits. So it is only natural for the investors to stay clear of the new ICOs.
This is what makes ICOs stuck and will never again become a good fundraising method, unless they really have good products, real uses with targeted solutions and are willing to cooperate with third parties to ensure security. I don't hate ICOs at all, it's just that they are too easily used by scammers for profit
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: December 06, 2020, 04:11:42 AM
The volatile crypto market has hurt various industries but bitcoin has had no effect, but as its price has fallen traders have become increasingly frustrated the epidemic has pushed up the price of bitcoin even more even if each coin has a higher value it will go down. There is nothing to be frustrated about dumping if you invest more in bitcoin the price will go up again traders make profits because of volatile profits due to the stability of the fiat currency its demand is much lower.
bitcoin is very influenced by trends, right? of course bitcoin will have a pretty big effect on an industry because they have a large number of users. For example, paypal recently announced about bitcoin, and was followed by several celebrities and billionaires who bought bitcoin because they believed that bitcoin was the "future".
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: December 06, 2020, 04:07:17 AM
There are as yet numerous open doors later on, so make an honest effort. Continue searching for good opportunities and invest in them, however you ought to likewise avoid Fomo projects and scam projects in this market. It is an important exercise for you in this market
Actually fomo is quite normal considering that crypto is a fairly fast market. here we must be able to control ourselves, and do not let us fall into making careless investments. research comes first and always comes first. use the remaining asset money to profit from the lessons you have learned from previous mistakes
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IF ONLY BOUNTIES WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISES. on: December 06, 2020, 04:01:30 AM
If bounty hunters become united, professional and start boycotting bad managers and fake projects, i still believe that bounty hunting can still become a proper multi billion dollar industry that can employ thousands and thousands of people all around the world and i am quite sure this industry will grow big in coming years.
You should wake up from your sleep, the bounty campaign is about how good you are analyzing the campaign or how luck you are getting the legit campaign that's fully paid you. Bounty hunting definitely depends on the ico industry and it looks like you didn't even understand about that.
You are joking with your statement dude.
Yap, I mean we do a program to get a token right? I do support that bounty hunters should be appreciated for our hard work, but we also have to know that we are part of the promotion team where we must be able to position ourselves to help the project, how do we analyze the project. if we do good research, I'm sure bad projects will get rid of themselves because nobody will want to promote them.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about USDT? on: December 06, 2020, 03:56:58 AM
That will be applied on US territory and if you are not coming from US or US citizen and then that's not a big problem for you to use the stable coin. It looks like the majority of stable coins will be banning US customer from their service.
I guess the exchange site will not also let the US citizens to use stable coins too. It will be giving a big impact to the US citizens.
It is very true, it will only apply to the people of US, but of course it will also have a big effect if it is true that they will implement strict regulations on USDT. But considering the large number of US users, maybe there will be an adjustment to the regulation? I'm not really sure about that
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: December 06, 2020, 03:52:05 AM
I dont think that there will be new crypto that can out-ranked ethereum as the top rank altcoin knowing that it really dominates all the altcoins in the market. But if there is an altcoin that can out-rank ethereum, I am totally confident that it is RIPPLE(XRP) which was happen about a year ago.
There are several key factors that make Ethereum and Bitcoin unbeatable. some of it is due to large users, and the second is the usefulness factor in solving problems or real use cases. XRP can probably beat the two in terms of investment, as their prices are quite affordable and they also offer a very good ROI in a relatively short period of time. but so far I think in terms of two important factors such as usability and users, nothing can beat bitcoin and ethereum
236  Economy / Economics / Re: this pandemic have made me do research on things i never tought before economy on: December 05, 2020, 02:46:32 PM
Actually there are several ways to control high inflation other than by imposing crazy taxes, such as if the rich want to spend their money to buy assets in the form of securities and others, so that the value of money will remain stable even though it is already low after the pandemic. regulations for buying securities through banks can also be done through the government by issuing letters for rich people with certain wealth values
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 6 DeFi projects to watch in 2020 🎯 on: December 05, 2020, 02:42:12 PM
snip-
It does feel like we're entering another altcoin boom. A lot of the old ICO coins look like they will stay dormant, but I think you're right with DeFi. A lot of these DeFi coins will likely blow up, however, I'm not holding them.
I just think that the current DeFi market is still immature, there are still too many gaps here and there for scammers to rug pulls. I just think that dex should have a better filtering procedure, a preventive measure that is not excessive but also safe for the customer
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Data safety on Centralized exchanges on: December 05, 2020, 02:39:13 PM
When you give money to the exchange, you should expect that you will not receive it back because you may be asked to provide documents, money can be stolen from the exchange or the api key can be stolen be responsible for trading Wink
Still, this is definitely a problem with CEX which is currently complicated to solve, as they have complete control over the customer's account. they can easily freeze the assets on the account if they think it's "suspicious"
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: December 05, 2020, 02:36:52 PM
At this moment you can use and make transaction in Ethereum with lower gas fee. Anyway, I always used Ethereum ever since despite of higher gas fee because it was one of the trusted digital currency second to bitcoin. Very useful for me and easy to use.
Yo, I'm not denying that Ethereum is currently the best, but the issue is why the gas fees doesn't make sense with the transaction. suppose there are people with lower token transactions, it will be more expensive to pay for gas than to sell their tokens. but I'm sure ethereum is currently trying to get rid of this problem, it's just too crazy just for a gas fee
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 05, 2020, 02:33:43 PM
In fact it would be crazy to consider joining an ICO "just" for an airdrop, simply not worth it. Airdrop is designed to get awareness from the crypto community by doing "simple things" to get free tokens, if it has entered into "participating" in a fundraising, I think it's no longer an airdrop.
