same problem, either newer versions don't want to run under windows 7 or I can't sync up with the wallet.
either way a viacoin.conf file would be nice to find, if someone actually has one with working nodes.

oh yes, when downloading the latest versions (win32 and win64) it might be nice to be able to tell which is which.
downloading either... calls them both win-32.
shouldn't one be called win-64?

thanks
Are you taking about 0.10.11 or the new beta Wallet?

I have problem with 0.10.11

Can you paste here ip-s active nodes?

Initially HOdl was listed on C-Cex and YObit. C-Cex dropped us because of low volumes and YObit still has the coin but they don't do any maintenance and so you can't get any coins out. Recently we added CoinExchange and BitSquare but still the volumes are poor. Nobody wants to sell because after all, it's HOdlcoin not SpendCoin.

Hopefully that will change after The Unforkening at block 257,000 which happens this week.

I have 5000 inmatured coins. What will happen after block 257000? Do i get all interest rate from before fork?

Is it possible to mine this with GPU??

No.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Get 600% Interest Guaranteed With This One Weird Trick! on: February 08, 2017, 03:11:47 PM
A restart isn't going to happen since so many coins out there being hodled or otherwise. Fixing the nutocracy fork wouldn't help much, in fact it may hurt more since we will have mined coins and hodled coins on the exchanges at the same time. Flooding the market... price 1 sat.

Better to just leave it alone as a failed experiment. Move on to other things or launch a new coin with this codebase.. minus the autohodl of course..

ok, given the choice between walking away (failed experiment) and removing the autohodl and taking a chance at the markets, why would you walk away?  what's the worst that could happen?

I like the idea of relaunching with hodl tokens given for original hodl coins.  so you give them out for a year while people switch over, so what?

Or just a takeover and get rid of the auto-hodl.  All good ideas.  What I'd really love to hear is a statement from Freetrade, either "so long and thanks for all the fish" or "stand by, something coming soon."  That's not a lot to ask is it?

Still HODLing! Last news was the Fuzzbawls was working a bit on the wallet miner and had the optimized miner working on some processors on windows, and not on others. I've no objection to a relaunch or change. Any change would be an improvement as things are so quiet. I don't have a lot of time to put into it. I'll help with fixing the bug with the term deposit that I mentioned earlier. It would be a good idea to get the optimized wallet miner running first so that pools don't dominate. You'll need to drag Yobit along too for any fork.

So basicly you are abandoning this coin? No further development cause you dont have time or switching to some other coin/work?

So just to be sure. Current version is 2.0 of wallet?

No hard fork and unlock mined coins?
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Get 600% Interest Guaranteed With This One Weird Trick! on: November 23, 2016, 01:51:08 PM
but when I mine a block, the wallet auto hold my coin and invest it with 365 days plan. I don't want it. how I cancel this command, I don't command that.

Its a "feature" of this coin  Wink You cant change auto hodl.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Blockchain Pays You Interest. 0.33% Every Day on: July 28, 2016, 04:09:59 PM
I plan to open a new mining pool next week that mines blocks to the miner address directly once they accumulated 50 hodls.

I will also publish the source code of a modified wolf-miner that increases hash rate by >100% for CPUs with AES and AVX2.

Let's keep the coin alive!  Cheesy

That's a bold claim for a newbie user.
Let's see but be careful with troyans.

God point pallas, i had experience with troyans.

Also i dont want to download any miner/wallet except from developer post in first page.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Blockchain Pays You Interest. 0.33% Every Day on: July 25, 2016, 09:40:49 PM

I also stated that but people told me move along if i dont like it. So sorry for them cause they dont see what will happen.

I am not bagholder. I have 1250 coins that are not in deposit and mined 4 block that will mature to 3300 coins next year. Cause of that i stopped solo mine and YES i will move from this coin.

Thanks Denis, you're exactly the non-hodling miner we're trying to get rid of. It's nothing personal, I'm sure you're a good guy and you've got your objectives and needs for mining. You're just not the kind of HOdling miner the coin needs right now.

And that's fine, the only thing that confuses me is why non-hodling miners keep coming back to tell us that they are not here anymore as if that's a problem. We were trying to get rid of miners who need liquidity for dumping - I thought that was clear.

This arrogance is exactly why this coin is dead.

You have a worthless coin. You can't scare off anyone. You need every single person who is interested in this coin to hope that this coin has a future.

Instead you want to scare off a portion of your miners and worse the pools. The pools would help you get the word out. (How do you think i found HOdl?)

Your arrogance and ignorance is stunning.

I agree with you but you dont need to offend anyone. Lets try to find better solution for everyone.

There is nothing god or bad if people move along who dont agree with developer.

Most important thing is what will developer do that after lock period people wold not dump?

That i didnt read here and that is most important thing.

Very god said and i agree with that but...

Even if i had 100 cpu to mine 5000,10000 or even more HODL per day i would not dump cause price is low.

Dump is god if buy support(real buy support) is present.

Lets say if i mine 30k hodl in 4 months. Meanwhile price is up to 32000 satoshi cause there is a some people who hear about this coin and they think it is god to buy cause unique system.

I cant or anyone else sell cause i am locked till summer 2017.

There will be massive dump after locked period and for that i am sure.

Maybe this solution is god for now but what will happen next year? Massive dump for 30 satoshi per coin? Maybe this mass dump is god cause every person who want to buy will buy cause low price.

Anyway, hard fork is here and i believe that developer wont change that so how about to add option to mine some other coin and get reward in HODL ?

That will rise price and liquidity for now.

And trust me for this i am in crypto world since august 2012 and i saw how many god coins was dead cause changing rules after launch or lack developer prediction of user behavior.

No hard feelings and dont mean to anyone offend  Smiley

The only thing that gives me hopes for this coin myself is when my matured term deposits become available in Feb/March next year Cheesy

there would be a lot of dumping in coming months . before that start we need some plan to tackle and reduce the effect to the price .

At this rate and with all the problems the fork did in Feb/Mar you will have a lot of zero-value-coin (as me). I'm sorry for the devs but this fork was a really bad move, done without too much attention and probably the one which will declare the death of this coin. I hope to be wrong.

I also stated that but people told me move along if i dont like it. So sorry for them cause they dont see what will happen.

from this coin. This lock period is like when you get paycheck for you job and go to bank to raise it but bank told you hey we deposit that money for you with intrest for ONE year, sorry you cant raise your paycheck,

have a nice day and come back for one year Smiley
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] Blockchain Pays You Interest. 0.33% Every Day on: July 23, 2016, 09:24:43 AM
I just read last couple pages back and didnt get whole point of hard fork. Yesterday i started to solo mine. Now i look in my wallet and i can see that i mined 4 blocks but they are locked on period of 365 days and after that i will have 3300 hodl. So i cant to do anything with my coins for ONE year? WTF ? This is a god joke coin. If i want to deposit to mature i will do that but not by force of dev. If i want to dump or wait for price to get up and then dump i cant do that. So i believe that when coins mature after ONE year people will do massive dump if this coin survive ONE year.

So can I have my computer fully shutdown and it will still harvest? when using delegated harvasting. let me know please. thanks in advance.

Yes if you use delegated harvesting on another computer you can shut down your computer.

This is a tricky answer. lol
So what if I'm only using 1 computer..
Because you said "If I use delegated harvesting on ANOTHER computer" you mean who ever picked up my delegated harvesting for me? sorry just a little confused.

When youīre using delegated harvesting, the Supernodes do the harvesting for you. So your Computer must not run.

Everytime I turn the computer and then log in to my wallet again I had to start my delegated harvesting again. I thought it would still be on. can you correct me if im wrong. Thanks

You need to switch to remote node ip. Pick from this list http://nodeexplorer.com/ and when you open your wallet first in setting tab change ip from 127.0.0.1 to ip that you chose from http://nodeexplorer.com/

Save settings and then run delegated harvesting.

I starter delegated harvesting on jun 27 and found my first block at Jun 28, 2016 05:12:55 (Block #651676) and found 9 blocks last of which was Block #654043 at Jun 29, 2016 21:02:39 but since then i have found zero blocks.

Can anyone else thats harvesting confirm this is normal and just bad luck or am i missing something here?

Every time i've logged onto NCC delegated harvesting has been active.

I've tried couple different supernodes since i stopped getting blocks and i'm currently on Alice4 (199.217.112.135).

My nem address is NDFUQ2-DQUWDP-Y4V7ME-DQFHIX-YDLPFG-7QJ23A-JBF3

Its a normal thing. Sometimes you have luck sometime you dont. Last 10 harvested block by me is 0

At this time i'd be happy with a block with 0.

3 days with 2.64 ‱ importance and not a single block found i can't help but think i'm doing something wrong.

4 days without any blocks, 0,61 % importance, last block was 78 XEM before 6 days, it depends on luck

Also you can try to switch node.
