Lmfao the guy stays all day long on improving the code and yet you cannot create an autoupdate script in one min  Hey smart guy, maybe not everyone is as quick as you are. It takes me a minute to get a correct URL; with my Virtual Machines and clumsy linux skills updating a few MN takes a time. And we are not talking about myself - there are hundreds of people doing the same and you can see here how much confusion it creates. Get me right please, I really appreciate your hard and ongoing work, ...but... *each* time I look into the DRK thread there's a new version available. An auto-update feature like armory offers (signed update files) would be really nice. At least an info when starting the wallet "Alert: new version available, update once more" should be implemented. Thanks for reading. +1 Updating MNs takes a lot of time due to frequent updates... Not complaining but autoupdate would be VERY useful. Does anybody have a theory on why people sell at these price levels at all? Are they not informed about the potential? Wouldn't it make more sense to hold or place sell orders at a higher price when demand comes recurrently off the order book like that?
I have a chunk of DRK that I play with on the exchange, when the price rises to a predetermined price, I sell approx. 100drk and when the price falls to a certain point I buy back as much as possible to increase my position little by little....hoping for a 2nd MN someday. Yep.. however this strategy only works when the price is moving up and down within a certain range. It goes out of the window if it goes plummets / jumps up and stays there. |

Indeed, nothing wrong with it at all, if you don't wish to show your hand, why not?
Does this mean Bitfinex trade volume is actually higher than it is shown in coinmarketcap? No, volume is still volume and it will be reflected in sells and buys. The block orders seen as walls though can be hidden for the time being until someone buys or sells into them. Once this happens, volume is recorded. I still think it is a horrible idea. Exchnage should be transparent. It is supply and demand thingy - whatever drives the volume up is good for crypto |

Very nice! I like how friendly it looks. Incentivized Node Operation is in my opinion the strongest feature in Darkcoin and is what will make it really special long-term. We already have Darksend and InstantX as services that will run on this platform. When we first started InstantX was not on the roadmap and the Masternode Network made it possible. There will be other new services and features that will run on this network in the future so setting up masternodes now is a very smart investment.

If we address this decentralization issues, and with de instant transactions ready to be solved, Darkcoin will be 2 steps ahead Bitcoin in no time.  Regarding P2P mining - true but: 1) it is not simple and it would take a lot of time to properly implement 2) No one really volunteers to do it 3) we would have to deal with the DUST. Huge amount of dust will bloat the blockchain and slow down the whole system InstantX is a priority in my eyes. |

The marketshare jumped from 40 to 140 mil. USD with no change in price, what was that about? It's retarded. Ripple has 100B coins total. The majority of them are locked up with the founders and/or held for charity or some BS. Coinmarketcap by default lists Market Cap based on "available" coins which in the case of PoW coins is how many coins have been mined, or PoS coins as how many there are in total. For some unknown reason, Coinmarketcap did a weird thing with Ripple where they decided how many are "available" not the total 100B but instead some 10B (? - I can't remember exactly). Then a month or two ago, one of the Ripple founders announced that he was cashing out and selling his XRP. So now the amount "available" according to Coinmarketcap is 28B due to that douchebag's announcement. Thereby roughly tripling the "Market Cap" of Ripple. I can't believe that this did not negatively impact the price, although it tells me that maybe the market is actually valuing Ripple at its full 100B coin level and therefore believes that Ripple is actually worth some 600 Million USD.
