Just in time to kill the momentum and take us back to 6500, this hack happened, people panic sold, but the fact that Bithumb inmediatly took charge of the situation, moved resources to cold wallets and assured clients it would cough up the 30 Million to cover losses, is pretty empowering for the industrya and goes to show that a lot of the big players are here for the long term and are willing to build a new reputation not only for themselves but also the industry, trying to make it a more professional space, and not just a parade of endless unresolved scams and hacks.

Bithumb was hacked and hackers stole coins worth about 30 million USD (100 million USD?). But Bithumb promised that they will cover this loss.
Do you think it will affect the price of Bitcoin (altcoins)?
It wont affect price of bitcoin but might just affect the prices of those coins which were stolen as hackers will eventually dump those coins and thus the prices will decrease dramatically. I dont think it will affect bitcoin at all because few hundred millions is nothing as compared to the market cap of total coins and bitcoin itself. It is really a scratch over the global economic cap. So pretty sure about that and also if Bithumb is going to cover the losses then everything seems to me normal here. You were probably right, Bitcoin is stable Donīt you think that it was important? I mean that Bitcoin price didnīt go down, so we found a bottom? And we are going up finally? |

If you want to hold your coins for few years then use wallet. When you are a trader and you are trading everyday, then use exchange, because it is cheaper than sending a lot of transactions everyday.

Anyone who makes investment decisions based on the ICO rating sites deserves to lose their money. They do not do any analysis and from this article it is obvious that the expertise of their "experts" is negligable. It only really shows the ability to make a BitCoin Transfer. I imagine that these so called experts also rent out their services to potential ICO's offering them a high ICO rating in return for cash or tokens.
So who can you trust? Can you trust the team? Now it seems that you canīt trust anyone - it is true in real life, but there should be the possibility to inspire... |

I still trust ICOBench, I have heard a lot of bad news about this site. But they really choose the best ICOs. Never have any problem when I invested into ICO with good rating on ICOBench.

my plan is to keep 6 potential alt coins till year end. at least keep until bull market. specially coins are req,ada,trx,prl ,cs and snov. i wish two bull markets will come in this year
