The problem here is the use of funds, if youre a big investor and had some millions of worth of investment on the line, you need to have some circulating money to move it or put it on other business. That's why we have a statement that invest only which you are afford to lose. But some dont listen and throw all their money hoping for a great return.

If you have some big coins I think the best move is to hold your coins cause you will not benefit from selling it on the market. Probably bitcoin will go down at that level and investors and whales making it to happen to take advantage of the price to accumulate as much as possible.

Yes there is certainly hope of course but you need to make an extra caution on investing. Make sure that the coin you will buy have what it takes to stand a bearish situation like this. Really, Im bothered that that compared xrp with stellar, the stellar project is more viable and useful than xrp platform. If you quite noticed, only stellar arent been affected much by market since their platform are prettt awesome to dump. XRP on the other hand is being centralized and manipulate by banks and huge player which the only reason why it pumping. In terms of development, stellar has more potential than the lousy xrp.

Im still clueless which hold coin to hold for at least 10 years. But Im thinking of a project that has capacity or market cap that considerably big enough to survive for at least those long years. That moat likely I will hodl. Im not holding any big coin such as btc or eth since we dont know if those project can still be great after 10 years.

I agree but there is no assurance of the price would retain long and never go down even for top 3 coins. Those coins have remarkable concept and ideals but we must remember that there are new projects that can beat them anytime. Only btc is going down, if you take a look at the price of other alts it still remain same, the market just adjust the value to where those coins are balance. Agree, only those useful projects can survive in this industry, do you wonder why some project only lasted sometime only for few months? I think tension will rise on the market. If this happen, some will lose confident on ethereum since they know that Vitalik is the head and aource of its idea and some will not believe if someone else continue to develop the project. I think you know already the answer, if you sell at this price now then that 80% loss will be a huge disadvantage of you but if you hold then look back on your investment after a few year then there's a chance you can earn it back which deepend on your holding if they will move upward on the following year. If youre a good trader then, you can do trading and scalping until you earn back the loss but I suggest yo forget now your portfolio.

Dont worry, the market is always not stay on a situation like this. I prefer both and it depends on the coins/tokens that I have. I have some tokens that Im not trading and specifically reserved for holding long term since I believe it will become successful and appreciate the price in the future. But I have some funds on doing some trading as well. I scalp some pretty decent coins on the market and earn some decent gain on it.
