Because I don't worship corpses as sacred and untouchable things?

Get over yourself. You aren't some crusader of good because you can get all uppity over a bunch of ex-humans. They're dead. They can't feel. They can't care.
Uppity? Because I believe it's ghoulish to dig up ancient remains just because some over sensitive pea brains have thin skin and get offended so easily?
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Memphis Mayor Wants to Dig Up Dead Confederate War General on: July 17, 2015, 05:18:03 PM
There's nothing wrong with this. They're former people. There's nothing there but rotting flesh now.

Guess that makes you a sick, twisted ghoul yourself.
224  Other / Politics & Society / Memphis Mayor Wants to Dig Up Dead Confederate War General on: July 17, 2015, 05:12:51 PM
Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton wants to dig up the bodies of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife and remove them from a city park in the latest and perhaps most despicable example of the anti-Southern cleansing spreading across the nation.

“Which African-American wants to have a picnic in the shadow of Nathan Bedford Forrest?” Wharton said in a Thursday press briefing.

In addition to desecrating the graves, Wharton wants to tear down a massive statue honoring the Confederate general who was involved in organizing the Ku Klux Klan. The bodies of Forrest and his wife would be relocated to a cemetery.

“These relics, these messages of this despicable period of this great nation, it’s time for those to be moved,” the mayor said.

What kind of sick, twisted person wants to dig up dead bodies, this article asks? Well the ghoulish Memphis mayor does.
225  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mexican drug war - 60,000 dead, 26,000 missing in 6 years on: July 17, 2015, 05:07:59 PM

Drugs are but one facet of the cartels' web. They are into extortion, prostitution, gambling, smuggling, etc. If drugs are legalized they will merely shift into another area.

The extortion, prostitution, and gambling is on the Mexican side of the border. Why do you care about that?
226  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mexican drug war - 60,000 dead, 26,000 missing in 6 years on: July 17, 2015, 05:05:24 PM
More than 60,000 people have been killed from 2006 to 2012 due to drug-related violence, during former Mexican President Felipe Calderon's six-year administration, according to Human Rights Watch. During that same six year period, 26,121 people have gone missing in Mexico, though authorities don't have data about how many of the disappearances are connected with organized crime.

Since December 1, 2012 when Enrique Peña Nieto assumed the presidency, overall intentional homicide numbers have declined slightly, but the number of reported kidnappings continues to climb.

Just for perspective, that's about 4X as were killed by ISIS last year, and more than 10X the number of Americans who died in Iraq.

Sadly the PC pushers are more concerned about Donald Trump making an insensitive comment about "Mexicans" than about these gang members sneaking across the boarder and waging their war on our shores.

They were killed by Mexican gang members, many of whom come across the border illegally to sell drugs or purchase weapons.

But the PC side is more worried about alleged "racism" than the actual body count, and ease by which the gangsters sneak into the US

If you were truly serious about ending the Mexican drug cartels power then you should be pro-drug legalization. Eliminate the black market, you eliminate their purse strings. At least it's a real start, not just hot air to fuel racist rants.
227  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is a social norm in America that you feel is ridiculous? on: July 17, 2015, 04:17:03 PM
That drugs are bad.

I would say the misconception between drug use and drug abuse

..we have a normal understanding that most people who drink alcohol are not addicts, but we do not hold this same understanding for illegal drugs. We make little to no distinction between drug users and drug addicts
228  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Watch: Obama Scolds CBS’s Major Garrett for Question About US Hostages in Iran on: July 16, 2015, 06:12:01 PM
Why would Obama screw up his plan to arm Iran with a nuke and give them $150 billion for the luxury of doing so? If anyone, and I mean anyone, thinks Obama is doing this for America or Americans he or she is dead wrong. And he couldn't care less about the Americans being held by Iran. I mean, how complicated would it have been to even ask the Iranians if they were interested in showing a sign of good will and releasing the Americans? You see, to do that risked Iran saying no yet again to anything Obama asked for when all Obama wants to hear is yes. What a scumbag Obama is.
229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UCLA provides internship opportunities to illegal immigrants on: July 16, 2015, 05:40:54 PM
You'd think there would be a lot of upset poor Americans in California wondering where their job opportunities are, but there aren't.

They're completely oblivious to things like this because they've been placated with a few hundred dollars a week in welfare and blinded with ignorance as to the reason why they've been locked into the permanent underclass.

So liberals in California are free to ignore the needs of Americans while they violate dozens of federal laws and pander to the illegal plague.

Every now and then some liberal will accuse a Republican of not caring about the poor.

As hypocritically laughable as that notion is the reality is that a lot of us indeed don't care.

Personally I don't care about California's poor one damn bit.

I don't care because the poor don't care, the liberals they vote for don't care, and the Brown invaders don't care.

Suffer people, you earned it.
230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unarmed Mississippi man died after 20-minute police chokehold, witnesses say on: July 16, 2015, 05:21:01 PM

Witnesses have told Mississippi state investigators that an unarmed black man died after being kept in a chokehold by a police officer for more than 20 minutes and denied CPR, according to his family’s attorneys, who said an autopsy confirmed he was fatally strangled.

Did you notice that cops are too aggressive today?
Damn this is kept pretty quiet cause I live in Mississippi and this is the first I've heard of it. Hope it don't get swept under the rug.
Is this police brutality problem really not systemic?

1. Nope, didn't notice. I was stopped the other day because something was hanging under my truck. I told him I had a concealed carry permit and I had a loaded weapon in the console next me. He said "That's cool. Just wanted to let you know something's dragging under your truck, and you need to check it out." He never once tried to choke me, didn't ask for my gun, and did threaten any violence upon my person. I thanked him and he said to have a nice day. Again...no choking, threats or violence upon my being.
2. Sounds like it's already under the rug.
3. It's not systemic....really! How much personal interaction do you have to be able to suggest it's systemic?
231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What you need to know about 7-state Pentagon super-drill on: July 16, 2015, 10:38:28 AM
It's been a long time now. We've been seeing these urban control exercises with black helicopters in Florida, some years ago, to things like this. What urban settings have we had real military operations in? Several. Serbia; all over Iraq, and others that don't come to mind right now.
The RT story says that there are only 1,200 spec. ops. soldiers involved. What isn't mentioned is that they'll have support from all of the other stuff we have in the US, including NSA and DHS.
I don't believe that this is the real deal, as far as a domestic threat, but for anyone who was already nervous, it goes a long way in helping the Gov. to prepare for such a thing.
232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teenager Who Planned to Join ISIS Is Jailed for More Than 3 Years on: July 16, 2015, 10:10:00 AM
More like socialist barbarism, this person didn't actually do anything wrong. He was sentenced for allegedly preparing for acts of terrorism, except there were no particular acts in mind, nor any type of time line. I have absolutely no love for terrorist scum, but this is nothing more than government abuse, albeit from a corrupt lesser nation, so not much else can be expected...
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: President Obama admires Putin’s help over Iran nuclear talks on: July 16, 2015, 09:54:09 AM
President Barack Obama has said that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin helped the United States to conclude the prolonged nuclear negotiations with Iran despite tensions between Washington and Moscow.

“Russia was a help on this. I’ll be honest with you. I was not sure given the strong differences we are having with Russia right now around Ukraine, whether this would sustain itself,” the US president said during an interview with the New York Times on Tuesday.

“Putin and the Russian government compartmentalized on this in a way that surprised me, and we would have not achieved this agreement had it not been for Russia’s willingness to stick with us and the other P5-Plus members in insisting on a strong deal,” he added.

Iran and the P5+1 group of countries -- the US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany -- reached a conclusion on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Tuesday.

The JCPOA will put limits on Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the removal of sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

According to the text of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Iran will be recognized by the United Nations as a nuclear power and will continue its uranium enrichment program.

There is something I like in this President: he is showing to be a real statesman. This last move, to show appreciation for Putin's behavior about Iran is a nice move. This is a clue that this administration is planning to do something to restart from what Bush administration did WITH Russia. It's just a little step, but a meaningful step.

Secretary of State Clinton gave Russia's FM Sergei Lavrov a little plastic re-set button 6 years ago.

It says "INVADE UKRAINE" on it. Isn't that hilarious?

It's been a great re-set. Vlad the Invader saved Obama from his Syrian "red line" face plant and now he's helped him screw over America and its allies.

With friends like Vladimir Putler who needs enemies?
234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iran nuclear deal: '99% of world agrees' says Obama on: July 16, 2015, 04:19:46 AM
He challenged critics of Tuesday's deal to present a better alternative - seen as a veiled reference to his Republican opponents in Congress.

The UN Security Council will vote next week on a resolution endorsing the agreement, Iran says.

In return for an end to sanctions, Iran will limit its nuclear activities.

The president has said there will be a robust debate with Congress.

Wow! I guess that when U.S. leftists totally refused to hold their Political Messiah responsible for his lies concerning Obamacare (If you like your current Health Care plan and M.D. then you can keep them) that he experienced this sense of anti-ethical freedom to the degree that he no longer worries about being caught out in any lie whatsoever. 99% of the world does NOT want this particular piece of crap nuclear deal with Iran!Hmmm . . . and so what to discuss about this? There is nothing to discuss in reality. The GOP leadership have repeatedly proved that they have the collective political spine of a worm and so after much blustering and threats they will ultimately sign off on Obama's obscenity of a 'deal' with Iran; an Iran that by the way is laughing at the United States over this deal.

So there is nothing to debate. It's effectively a done deal. I just wonder WHY leftists WANTED to do this sort of thing to the United States of America and to the West in general when they deliberately selected a first term U.S. senator with ZERO meaningful national level experience to become president and then put him into office again after he amply demonstrated that as president he is and shall always be a radical nation-hating Community Organizer. Why in the world were leftists DETERMINED to do THAT to this nation and to the West?

I never thought I would live to see a sitting President betray not only our country but put our allies into a corner where they need to pr-emptively attack or roll the dice and hope they aren't wiped out in a nuclear blast. Obama has found a great way to start a war and not be part of it. (except to supply the nukes)

I think Obama is correct.. Most of the world wants this to work with the exception of the GOP hardliners and Bibi Netanyahu.

You mean the people who understand Iran will use nuclear technology to make weapons?
235  Other / Politics & Society / Gunfire heard near pro-Confederate flag rally in Ocala on: July 14, 2015, 05:47:09 PM

Oh well. It's better to err on the side of liberty than it is to irrationally trust in the good intentions of the state.

You do realize that the military is conducting exercises all around the country? Sixty miles east of here is the Top Gun facility. Funny how the residents of Fallon aren't concerned.

Texas is part of the United States, so thinking that the US can take over itself is the pinnacle of irrationality.

I agree. It's a painfully simple position that any halfwit should be able to understand.

Now I see the problem. I'm not a halfwit. LOL.
