As an avid internet poker player, before "black friday",  I love that we have bitcoin poker rooms.  We just need a little more traffic for it to be worthwile

I spoke with Justin Filtz - someone in the poker community.  About bitcoin and poker, biggest complaint was the lack of other players on the various bitcoin poker sites.  Also gave him an empty Casascius coin
222  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: June 25, 2012, 05:43:33 AM
I'd like to see a 50/50 option on the auto re-invest.

for now I'll turn it on / off every other week.

okay so i've actually done this already...

the re-invest system has now been updated to give lenders much finer control over their settings.

for example, you can set up your account to send 3% of your weekly earnings and re-invest the remaining 97% if that's what you want.

thanks just updated my acct.
223  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [Beta] - the oldest working pyramid? on: June 25, 2012, 05:19:10 AM
hopefully your random free referral makes a deposit too

but you also have a chance at winning someone else's deposit at random

get out there and get some direct referrals.  it pays out much better.

226  Other / Off-topic / Re: This is the question thread! on: June 15, 2012, 08:46:42 PM
it has been corrected...

I had posted a question about best places to advertise, and included the links that would be advertised.

a user posted an answer that was a good answer, and it said it would be finalized in 6 days if I took no action
It was a good answer but still wanted to see more.

My question was edited by UserSupport to not include the links as part of the question, but as an answer.

the post by some other user (i don't recall who) was delete, that post contained a link to a thread here (bitcointalk), that was useful and I did utilise.  I have that link saved, and when the user that posted that link can respond to me with roughly the message they posted, I will send the reward they would have gotten had Rugatu UserSupport not interfered.  Although had it stayed alive for a few days, I think some better answers may have come from it.

It was a large number of links, and if user support had contacted me about it, I would have been happy to drop it down to 1 link that linked to the rest. However I'm not ok with not being able to post any links, and while it is his site to decide on posting links or not, I will not be participating, nor recommending it if that is the case.

My rugatu acct is currently suspended, but I set up a second one...  Since I don't have access to the acct I can't find my deposit address and I didn't lable my transaction but I think this is the one where I sent...

227  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN]Rugatu Q&A launched in beta - using real bitcoins now ! on: June 15, 2012, 08:33:22 PM
stolen coins returned.  Mention of them was posted in multiple rugatu threads, I am in the process of deleteing them, and only leaving the couple responses hear, stating that it occured, and the theft portion has been corrected.  The censorship has not.

took a bunch of posts to get the attention.

rugatu can regain my support, going to take some changes in the way the mods handle things.

you can delete opticbit2 acct and posts if you like except the post found at

https://www.rugatu.com/questions/768/could-you-integrate-ripple-into-a-social-network?page=1#841

that links to (which you modded out once already)

https://apps.facebook.com/yougotcoin/

and

https://raindroplet.info/summary/

I believe these links are relavant to the question, and the discussion, Its not the best answer but could be useful for someone to create the best answer.

We managed to launch Rugatu Q&A in beta, after working on it more than two months already. Now we need your help and spread the word, so more people can hear about bitcoin and start using it right now.

Help us out by putting a link in your forum signature and then post in this thread, with your bitcoin address. We give you 10 mbtc for every day you do this for us.

Can we count on you ?

Edit: Locking this thread temporarily. Unlocked

I'll put your link in my sig when you UN-Fuck my question.
Otherwise I'm posting a link in the http://bitcoin-shitlist.com/

Someone had a perfectly good answer, and it was supposed to take 6 days to allow decision of the best answer. UserSupport took the credit (0.09BTC), for turning part of my question into the answer.

235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Phoenix Coin interest on: May 26, 2012, 10:14:43 PM
I have been in contact with some people in Phoenix who would like to set up a local currency in Phoenix, AZ and create a fork of Bitcoin to support it.

What should we do on how the currency is set up... 21m coins, block time, reward per block and all that goes into it.

Geting it started- editing the code, and launch?

Getting more supports?

Local Business Suport?
236  Economy / Services / Re: Cam4BTC the first Bitcoin camming site [NO FEES] [Cross platform] on: May 25, 2012, 12:39:23 AM
When Trying to broadcast from Android it does not show the Preview.  so its a camera issue...  I had the flash acceess request come of for access to p2p network, but I can't get the flash setting to come up on my request, maybe if i can get in there I can select a camera.  Maybe if someone has an android with only one cam (i have front and back facing) it will just work?

Does it show the preview video? If it doesn't it can't access the camera. My guess would be that is going wrong. I will see if there is an easy way to enable that.

User interface wise I'm afraid I will have to make a UI for very low resolution interfaces like phones. It is very difficult to make a single user interface for very different resolution environments. You're going to end up making all sorts of compromises and end up with a user interface that isn't really optimal in either of the environments.

I just created a Mobile project and just copied all code over and there are a lot of incompatibilities Sad, that will be some work  ...
237  Economy / Services / Re: Cam4BTC the first Bitcoin camming site [NO FEES] [Cross platform] on: May 24, 2012, 11:06:14 PM
I can view videos, although the layout is not very phone friendly.  I can get into the broadcast portion, but I don't think its broadcasting anything.  Also touching in the chat box does not bring up the onscreen kb, I have a physical KB on my phone so that works, but pressing enter from the phone does not send the chat.  I'm running gingerbread, and flash 11.?

would be nice if it worked on android.  and jailbroken iphones with flash.

It should work on every device which has Adobe Flash player.

Two things I don't know:

1) I don't know how the GUI looks int hat low a resolution (what is the resolution)
2) I don't know if you can broadcast as I don't know if device access in Adobe Flash Player works at all on phones. Does it?

If it's not working for you it is likely your provider is blocking outgoing UDP traffic. Go to http://cc.rtmfp.net or connect to your wifi to test it.

240  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hyipbit.com any good? on: May 21, 2012, 04:33:48 AM
hyipbit.com = SCAM.

As of May 2012 there is no more payouts. There is no response on email.

Do yourself a favor and stay away.
This was a scam from the very start.  If you got in very early you got your money plus some profit.  If you got in late you lose.  Simple ponzi.  No reason to send them money now - that would be just plain stupid.

yes, I was continually re-investing, I end up at a small loss.
