I would like to install crypto exchange software from https://bitexchange.systems/.
It is free open source software.

I have a full step by step guide (http://support.bitexchange.systems/support/sections/backend-and-web-app-installation)
I tryed to setup, but failed for some reason.

Pure installation is job for max 1 hour.
I offer 100-150 USD as a bounty.

I can set it up for you. Are you willing to put money into escrow since you are not really reputable ?

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin's going to be the best investment now? on: March 26, 2018, 04:25:48 PM
People say litecoin will become $1700 by the end of this year...

If it isn't what other coin would you recommend me to invest in?

BitConnect? IOTA?

the two coins look promising...

Not sure if this is a joke...
There is just no way Litecoin will be anywhere near 1700$ by the end of the year because its so dependant on Bitcoin.
About those coins you mentioned, BitConnect is a scam and they are done so don't even look at it. IOTA has a nice concept but they are having some problems lately...
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your bitcoin wallet from hackers on: March 12, 2018, 04:12:17 PM
Always use strong VPN that'll encrypt your connection when accessing your bitcoin wallet.
Always use strong password and you may also use password manager if you like e.g. LastPass
Always enable the 2FA in your bitcoin wallet and use Google Authenticator to secure your wallet
Install anti-browser pop-up to prevent you from going to phishing site accidentanlly e.g. AdblockPlus

Feel free to contribute with more tips.

Everything you said is referring to Online Wallets. You shouldn't use them in the first place as they are the least secure type of wallet out there. Using desktop wallet or even bretter hardware wallet as its the best current standards are offering will give you the most protection.
225  Economy / Speculation / For those saying Bitcoin is doomed... on: March 09, 2018, 12:44:14 AM
Lately I saw an influx of threads here saying that Bitcoins is crashing every time price falls down. Now, I understand that the threads are stared by newbies or uneducated individuals so I've decided to explain things a little bit. Now the data I will show here is taken from investing.com and it shows per-month Bitcoin growth for last 6 months (so lets say before the peak in December until now).

September 17. 2017 - October 17. 2017  = +47.89%
October 17. 2017 - November 17. 2017 = +53.40%
November 17. 2017 - December 17. 2017 = +39.30%
December 17. 2017 - January 18. 2018 = -25.48%
January 18. 2018 - February 18. 2018 = +0.30%
February 18. 2018 - March 18. 2018 = -8.98%

This means, if you have 1000$ to put into Bitcoin at the start of the month (or middle of the month at this case...) and hold it for 30 days then sell for fiat, you would end up in profit 4 out of 6 times. To be exact, with this strategy you would be 1091.3$ in profit. So doing that (even selling in loss) you would double your money in 6 months. That is just insane in any financial world (well serious one, not a few hundred $). Not to mention profit that you would made just buy holding for 6 months and not selling anything.

So the point is, I know newcomers bought at the peak and are crying now, but DON'T SELL AT A LOSS , because statistically there are good months and bad months, and most likely it will be a good one. Now if fucked up and lost your money, and Bitcoin fallen from its peak to current price that does not mean that its crashing or anything similar to that. As you can see per-month growth is just fine, and "bad" months are even expected. Don't rush and don't panic every time price falls.
226  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Cheap Instagram Account 82k on: March 06, 2018, 11:51:35 PM
Selling instagram account for $35. I accept Paypal and Bitcoin as a payment method.

I'm legit i have proof of being logged into the account

PM me for details. I have skype

Yeah you may have access to the account, but out of that 82k followers, what is the percentage of real ones ? Other questions are why would you even sell it, and if its really yours why not post link publicly so we can all view it and see the kind of followers it has.
227  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS - $900 Bitmain coupons! on: March 06, 2018, 10:27:26 PM
Are they stackable ? I mean if I buy 4 coupons off you can I use them all to get a single miner ?
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs BOUNTIES CHOOSE RANKED PERSONS ONLY OR NEW ENTRANTS WITH QUALITY POSTS TOO on: March 06, 2018, 09:37:32 PM
Lately a lot of new forum members are looking to join signature campaigns/bounties and just post shit in order to get paid. That is in no one's interest. Its in bounties best interest to chose persons that would advertise them the most and its in forum's interest to prevent meaningless spam. Yeah I can see that Merit system have it's flaws but if you are posting just for sake of ranking up in order to be paid better, in that case I would say it's doing its job.
It is a mixed bag because there are benefits and drawbacks to both sides. To me then we should implement a 5 star system in which bounty managers would put you in a star slot (based on your posting history, rank, proven knowledge). I think if we did this, the "shitposters" would get 1 star at best (sometimes zero because no value) and then the actual legitimate posters would get 3-5 stars depending on their knowledge. Not only would that undue the politics and the ranking system, but the value would be deciding by a third-party who is neutral to the problems and quarrels of bitcointalk.

If the point of Bitcointalk was signature campaigns then that would be fine. It's just a way to earn a few tokens, and from what I can see it just creates spam on forum. I would be 100% fine if admins decided to ban them. Newbies that are here just because of that would leave and we would have a great community here.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block and Jerry's -- Ice Cream Delivery via Lightning Network launcing March 7 on: March 06, 2018, 08:20:43 PM
Trying to capitalize on Bitcoin's popularity. Very smart move. You could do a bit better job regarding your website if you are really serious about this, and not just making it for the sake of promoting Lightning Network. Better website will definitely attract more customers. (Don't get me wrong, current design is good, but the combination of background, cards and font is just wrong...)
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viber Is Going to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency! on: March 06, 2018, 08:17:30 PM
Worst thing that ever happen to crypto space is Ethereum and it's tokens. Before you had to at least put some effort into creating another meaningless crypto now you just pay few bucks of network fees and you got your own coin.
Telegram and Viber, IM platforms, for what are they going to use the coin ? Why would anyone want to hold it? I highly doubt that this news are not fake, but still it's stupid move from company to do it (if they are actually going to do it) and even more stupid for some news website to make it up...

232  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-06] - Putin’s Orders: Russia Prepares to Legalize Cryptocurrency Market on: March 06, 2018, 08:07:05 PM
Actually I don't think it would change much honestly. Legalize most often means highly regulate so... Also they are interested in regulating ICOs (which is good) but the hole point of that is just to prepare legal grounds so they can tax it properly afterwards.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: March 06, 2018, 08:03:29 PM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
To negotiate with the government is to show its weakness. We have different goals. Such negotiations have no prospects. I think we should use bitcoin and not pay attention to the opinion of governments. Only when governments admit they've lost will they make concessions. It may be a long road, but we have to follow it.

Agree with you on this.

Crypto is created so we don't have to be worried or persuade anyone of anything. It is peer to peer and government should not interfere there. But I also understand that almost everyone will come to a point where they would want to sell crypto and get cash, and that creates problems...
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Americans jail a 24 year old for selling bitcoins wthout asking for ID on: March 05, 2018, 05:29:20 PM
Then if this is how America is be careful....you might be next.
Of course after they get rid of the thousands that have made money and nobody has bothered them....yet
But probably those ones are part of the Illuminati...

One example of one trader breaking the law, and we have a whole conspiracy of the Illuminati in the Gubbermint of the USA rubbing our everyone making money out of crypto...legit
Yes, I am very careful. Because if they decide they want my money they will come take it, just like Civil Forfeiture.

And that's not what I said and you know it. But I can see this is pointless since you're just here to fly your flag and pretend our government is totally innocent and righteous  Roll Eyes

At least make your mind.Who sent this guy to jail?
a) americans
b) the court

And from where did you get the idea of me protecting the government and all the agencies?
This is the whole idea why I'm against this stupid title.

It's not the common american that jailed this guy.
It was not a referendum and the whole population asked for capital punishment.

this may be hard for you to understand but not everyone wants to live in America. Calling out Pakistan guy ? I think he is in a better place regarding crypto than you.

Hilarious:
Quote
FIA Recommends Govt to Declare Bitcoins Illegal in Pakistan
https://propakistani.pk/2018/02/06/fia-recommends-govt-declare-bitcoins-illegal-pakistan/

Since I can also follow the trends here that Americans are to blame for what their government agencies are doing...I could easily create a thread :
"Pakistani people want to declare bitcoin illegal ".

How does this sound?

That is just a recommendation, it may or may not be in effect later but currently its unregulated.

I don't see why are you so offended, yeah the guys who sent him in jail are Americans, whats the problem there ? Its stupid and should not happen again.

US law agencies can celebrate another success in their tireless crusade to stop ‘unlicensed money transmitting’ in the land of the free. The latest victory is sending a 24-year old crime kingpin to federal prison for making $40,000 from trading bitcoin offline.

Eldon Stone Ross, a 24-year-old from Kennett Square borough of Chester County, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced on Wednesday to serve a year and a day in federal prison for buying and selling large amounts of bitcoin to people without reporting the transactions to the US government.

The young man supposedly sold $1.5 million in bitcoin for almost two years but made only $40,000 (a mere 2.6%) in commissions, which he now has to hand over to the government in addition to his year-long prison sentence. He has been convicted for conducting an unlicensed money transmitting business between January 2015 and November 2016 and failing to report the fiat to bitcoin transactions.

Ross admitted in October 2017 to selling $50,000 worth of bitcoin to undercover federal agents related to Homeland Security Investigations. In each case, they reported he “failed to obtain identifying information from the agents,” according to court records. Like in previous such cases across the US, the authorities claim that by not conducting exchange-like know-your-customer (KYC) procedures and reporting to the Department of the Treasury, the bitcoin seller was enabling money laundering.

I think he was using local bitcoins to make his sales.

People are better off buying and selling on the exchanges, because that way the responsibility to check ID lies with the exchanges and not you.
wow $50000 that huge amount of money no wonder if he US goverment catch him. i wonder who is the people buy bitcoin with him. this is new make people and government a bullet to against bitcoin make regulation for it and even worse shutting down bitcoin.
50k is not huge. Its negligible. And that is the point i want to make. I don't see how its even justified to use resources for such small amounts of money.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Americans jail a 24 year old for selling bitcoins wthout asking for ID on: March 05, 2018, 04:50:31 PM
Calm down! The Department of Homeland Security is a national agency, is it not? This isn't to do with local police at Chester County.

You realized what piece of garbage that article is?And you even made it worse!!!!

You used by yourself the word "americans" like it the fault of all americans and all americans are to blame for.
If you knew if Homeland Security was behind this why didn't you use this for title:

Quote
Department of Homeland Security arrests 24yo for conducting an unlicensed money transmitting business

And back to the article, I love how FaletiAbiodun, the author, a guy from Pakistan is painting things:

Quote
US law agencies can celebrate another success in their tireless crusade to stop ‘unlicensed money transmitting’ in the land of the free

Yeah, hilarious. Angry he didn't get a visa?

this may be hard for you to understand but not everyone wants to live in America. Calling out Pakistan guy ? I think he is in a better place regarding crypto than you.

Anyways as for article, I think government agencies got their priorities wrong. Lately ICOs banned Americans from participating because of regulations but what about millions of dollars still unregulated ? And they are devoting resources and manpower to catch a guy because of 40k USD
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and XMR on: March 05, 2018, 10:50:07 AM
Is there any cryptocurrencies other than BTC and XMR that people are actually using?
You may be surprised, but I dont even know what is XMR and actually dont want to know. People use BTC and ETH the most. Coinmarketcap clearly shows it

Looks like you have been living under a rock...
Yeah BTC, XMR and LTC are the only ones used for payments atm. ETH is used but not for payments really... Other alts not so much, until they come with some breaktrought technology like IOTA that actually works, i don't see the need for them.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin accepted in Europe? on: March 04, 2018, 08:54:44 PM
Depends on a country. Look at Switzerland. They know their shit about money for years and they are famous about it. Now they are accepting cryptos of course. About France I never heard they wanted to ban crypto but I guess you have other source...
238  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-03] Thieves Steal 600 Bitcoin Mining Computers on: March 04, 2018, 08:16:19 PM
I would say that they are basically out of the country by now. It would be easy to transport them by ship and also not all miners were stolen at once, so they could be transported in multiple batchs. They probably know that two so they are not even bothering by now...
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: need opinion on how to develop a good blockchain project on: March 04, 2018, 06:25:12 PM
I would disagree with you about the list. In my opinion decentralized casinos and ecommerce are one of the areas that are in desperate need of a blockchain technology and decentralization. Just image what would decentralized casino do out there when you can access it without any problems and bet without worrying about laws ? I don't support it but... I would like a world with a bit less control over my life. Not to mention decentralized ecommerce DONE RIGHT
240  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anyone can recommend a book / course to learn development of new cryptocurrency? on: March 04, 2018, 06:20:42 PM
I am C# developer and wanted to create my own cryptocurrency with a mining feature.

I have spent some time now, trying to get my hands on some tutorials or explanations of how to build it (just a fork of an existing one).

However, I have thought that you guys in here would be able to provide some good place to go first.

Any book/course worth taking first ?

Well if you are looking to build a fork of cryptocurrency, just download github code, change name, symbol, etc. and there you go. You got yourself another shitcoin! I would highly discourage anyone from posting tutorials like this online since it just creates an influx of shitcoins and that is the reasons you won't find many of them (but yes there are out there, just google it).
