221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram forced invite on: May 03, 2019, 05:56:18 AM
So I noticed I've been forcefully invited by bots into multiple telegram community which I never wanted to join.. and most of these communities are either ponzi schemes or from #icos which claim to be legit companies with one or two things to offer in the crypto space..

What can you say about this??
Can you really believe a good project with good concept would forcefully invite you into their community without any prior notice??
This is because your privacy is open to everyone I guess, because telegram bots will work as humans will work too, what I mean is that if no one can add you manually to a group, then I don't any bot will be able to add you to a group without seeking your permission, so I think the best thing for you is to go to your privacy and set it that no one should be able to add you to a group unless they have your contact or better still no one can add you to a group at all so that you can be save from a lot of spammers.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VEIL : PRIVACY AT ITS BEST? on: May 03, 2019, 05:35:20 AM
Veil project is trying to bring in better innovation to the privacy-niche in cryptocurrencies, most issues with privacy coins is in its scalability - big transaction block sizes have been a problem in privacy coins, but Veil is trying to solve problem by introducing the bulletproof protocol, the bulletproof protocol aids in reducing transaction data sizes thereby aiding scalability
I believe that I have seen this topic like twice on this forum but I didn't really paid attention to it, what is this veil all about and what is it's unique feature that would make it better than many privacy coin that is already in existence or is it just another privacy coin like zcash, please you can share with us the link to the ANN thread of the project so we can check it out and also check the review of other members of the forum about the project.
223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't let the holiday catch you - if you are a day trader. on: May 02, 2019, 06:05:09 AM
Why the cryptocurrency market always go down during the holidays? even the smaller ones like Easter?
I noticed many times in the past the crypto market normally goes down when people are on holidays from Christmas to Eid-mubarak.
Just noticed the market also relaxed during the smaller holidays like Easter, Diwali (a bit) and Maulud. but not on the valatine's day - lol!

Well, the market started recovering from the Easter holidays today and it appears the bitcoin is heading to another milestone, which is very nice.
What is your take on this matter? Feel free to share views with us here... thanks Smiley

Well I still trade during holidays and make profit, especially when I know it's a chinese holiday because I am certain that there will be a dump in price, all you need do is to swap your coin for any stablecoin in the market and then swap back to that coin after the dump as occurred thereby making lots of profit for yourself, the crypto market is so fun because you can take advantage of any activity to happening in the space to make profit for yourself.
224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do not use Coinbase on: May 02, 2019, 05:26:14 AM
Do not use Coinbase! They have extremely poor service and will not support you if you ever encounter issues logging in. Instead, they will write a generic response to your ticket and immediately close it. If any major bank tried to pull this they would get buried in lawsuits.

Again, avoid this service at all costs. Forget their greedy 5% fees on deposits/withdrawals - it doesn't even matter if you can't get your BTC or USD back period. That's a 100% fee.
Coinbase is like the only exchange in america and they know that people will always use them no matter what because they don't really have a choice, I personally don't like coinbase and I am so happy that am not a citizen of the united states, so I make use of any trading platform I want to, I used coinbase at first for a while, but I have to change to when I saw how poor their service was, now I make use of binance and I can say they are the best.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should belive Crypto? on: May 01, 2019, 11:26:53 AM
Should we support crypto fully or can we believe about this? Seeing that the people who took the hypothesis of the crypto were very losers. Because this year there is a lot of price fall.
People was being busy with crypto, but nobody can not want to take losses. But they got.
Nobody is saying you should trust cryptocurrency, it’s your choice if you want to and if you don’t. This is nor the first time you’re getting to know that the price can go up and down at anytime and you can also lose your money at anytime. So you proceed at your own risk, since you already know that no one can tell you whether the price is going to reach a high or low. And I’d like to add that bitcointalk was showing warning about the op, you guys should check his ratings, he’s been reported by someone as a scam.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nike is launching a Cryptocurrency Marketplace! Will this help Crypto Moon? on: May 01, 2019, 10:47:52 AM
News about Nike's marketplace can be found in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/bz0PexMfMXk

Also if you guys like the video please like and subscribe so I can bring you guys the latest breaking news on a daily basis!

Thanks in advance!
Nah, I think they are just doing something else and it’s not a cryptocurrency or any cryptocurrency project. Whatever it is, it’s just a way for them to attract crypto enthusiasts and rip more money off from them and that’s it. And when the product stops selling they will definitely wave it off  cause they have made enough money. Everyone is just doing what they are doing to make money, once they see an opportunity to make money, they don’t waste time in going for it.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do u think will happen 100 years or 1000 years from now on: May 01, 2019, 10:14:04 AM
In coming 100 years we will surely see one more financial crisis and that will be the time when cryptocurrency will boom and it can also become main steam of currency. So the price can be unimaginable. This can happen in next 10 or 20 years also as we dont have to wait fr 100 years.
I think that has happened in almost every century long period. The financial crisis in 2008, back in the oil price shock period and in the end of Second World War in 1930. So yeah you can expect a financial crisis in the next 100 years as well. And yes there is possibility of great surge in the market value of cryptocurrency and I think that would be the time when crypto will spread more to places where it is not recognized.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies that has interest in trading! on: May 01, 2019, 08:16:09 AM
Great tips its very helpful for me and new trader are you sharing your experience and knowledge about trading, this will really be help newbies as like me.

I guess traders without experience use this Forum very often, that is why you can get wrong recommendations. It is better to read sites about trading and find cool YouTube channels on the crypto.
That is right. There are people who are not really experienced in this thing and which is visible from their content. This is the reason I suggest people to do research before getting into trading. A mere suggestion by some one on the forum could be dangerous for the health of one’s portfolio. Normally people who follow others blindly face huge loss and end up leaving the market.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: May 01, 2019, 07:39:14 AM
Pwrsonally I don't see any other coins that are worth daily trading besides Bitcoin. Also, day trading is very demanding, it requests a lot of experiences and knowledge and your full attention to the market so it would be very hard to follow this for multiple coins. But maybe there are some successful traders who could manage that also.
I think the same, I like to trade with bitcoin and ETH because for me both of them are really good coins to trade for day, as price rises faster in day trading, it has more potential and it is first crypto currency, we will see progress even more with passage of time, trading is the beneficial only with bitcoin not any other coin.
I do not think there is just Bitcoin out there in the market that can make or generate value in the market. ETH and Litecoin are good as well. There is a long list of good coins but if you do the relative analysis, you would realize that Bitcoin on the average gives more profit than others do so yeah Bitcoin is relatively good. But investing in a wide range of coins really makes you able to cash the profits due to diversification.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: May 01, 2019, 06:57:35 AM
these so called insect fights are already a tradition to some countries most especially if you are living on a 3rd world countries  .

gambling with insects are not done all the times  but they do have thier schedule or time like for example every 3rd quarter of the year but idk if some countries do have the same schedule . i remember when i was a kid my favorite was spider .

the bets were only penny or cents that time  but i stop doing it now because i feel like im already old for those kind of stuffs  .
I am really surprised how a country can take this kind of gambling as a tradition; well I am glad I come from a country that knows nothing about this type of gambling. It is not as if you are now too old for the game, it is just the invention of new and better games that probably made that one outdated to you.

For me, I will rather stay and not play any games than to play such a despicable game, that’s if we had it in my country at all. Gambling with every other thing is fun, but to gamble with an insect is evil and very irritating, it really doesn’t make any sense to me at all.

This is not a game of joy because there could be so many shortcommings in the game and lake levels as well. This could be I think transformed into a digital game in which a gambler could access to many crypto options and levels of difficulties. Only then it would be able to attract some users and could get its user base raised. Try to explore areas you enjoy and learn from in the same time.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: May 01, 2019, 06:24:12 AM
The biggest issue I see with crypto casinos is the lack of any regulation. Sure checking your bets and using the provably fair system is great, however, the risk is them running away with all the money, not just from you but from anyone, getting hacked is also an issue and not only in crypto casinos but also exchanges, as we all know... I'm hoping to see more regulated casinos with time, regulation + provably fair system would be quite amazing, I would be confident enough to deposit large amounts of money and gamble with it, even though I'm poor.
Since most casinos that are crypto base cannot be regulated did you think the scamming one will keep not keep  coming out? I think we would need more security tokens that will provide a way to checkmate most of the cryptocurrencies business in other to reduce loses among investors through scam.
Exactly that is the problem. Though crypto currency has given rise to scams and people who do not understand about crypto the most are the people who are looted. In gambling, the scams are basically the websites and people who do not know much about how to evaluate a gambling site get looted. This need to be stopped because it is hurting the industry and crypto should rather make it more transparent like the ETH blockchain adapted by many countries for transparency.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: May 01, 2019, 05:53:35 AM
I have never seen physical gambling centers that engage in drugs dealing or prostitution. Maybe they don't do it openly or it could well be an exaggeration.
It could also be that the law enforcement agencies/government do not try trooting out lawbreakers.
This is a point of concern for the governing bodies. The general perception is that people involved in gambling deal with crimes and illegal stuff like drugs and since I have been part of gambling, I have seen people doing every illegal activity while they gamble. This is one among many reasons why the governments have banned gambling in my country which is very bad.
233  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: JOIN Cryptolancer.io on: April 27, 2019, 05:20:35 AM
It would be useful if they had some actual freelancers on their site, instead all i see is a couple of bounty hunters who are willing to write "articles".
Compared to fiverr, they're nothing.

The site also seems extremely dead with all feedback listed from months ago.
(Most recent project ask was a month ago..)
And the projects that have bids on them, are all from "devs" with 0 feedback.. I don't know, comapared to fiver or seoclerk, i wouldn't really feel comfortable using their site, or the supposed devs that all have 0 reviews... (Especially when i can get someone who's a little bit more reputed and probably cheaper from one of the two competitors mentioned above.
Obviously, you can't compare a brand new crypto related freelancing service to such giants. Fiverr launched in 2010. and SEOclerk is an old company as well. SEOclerk still not like Fiverr. and this service is very new. so don't expect it to be like them. its owners need to work very hard to make it successful. even XBTfreelancer which is a very successful crypto freelancing platform is not close to Fiverr in term of available jobs and opportunities.
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for free token listing exchanges on: April 27, 2019, 04:58:42 AM
Most brand new Exchanges which started their services list tokens/coins for free. As long as they get some users. trading volume and list in CoinMarketcap they start charging money from coin/token owners.
There are several free listing exchanges. you can find more if you do a research and you can look at service announcements section:
1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134062.0
2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5054082.0
3: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115289.0
these are some exchanges I found offering free listing.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO owners and their dubious character. on: April 26, 2019, 08:37:56 PM
You are definitely saying the truth and I agree with you 100% on this, I think the solution to this everlasting problem is for us as a community come up with a board that will be in charge of carrying out KYC for ICO projects before they proceed with their project, on this forum, they will have to carry out a Webinar with so many users on the platform and tell them about the project, then also answer questions asked.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: April 26, 2019, 06:04:31 AM
IEO is another gimmick for fundraising and now the exchanges want to make the big money. You can play the hype but beyond that, don't know. Will just end up like ICOs one day.
I guess too, IEO is just another term for ICO just so happen that it will occur on exchange. Nonetheless, the process is the same as ICO. Concluding that in the future days IEO will just become another version of ICO, full of frauds full of scams fueled by greedy investors.
Not at all. ICOs and IEOs are very different things. People might call it the old wine in a labeled bottle but the case is very different and it is in fact a new form of raising funds for the startups who can feel that it is different from ICOs in many respect like the time for fund raising, the security and the marketing thing being done by the platform and many other things. You need to check the details.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need your help investigating a scam ICO on: April 25, 2019, 09:21:01 PM
I know it is very difficult to know when an ICO is a scam or not, but I tell you that there is always a way to find out. First of all,  if the team behind the project don't have anything to hide, then they should do weekly Webinar with their investors telling them about how the project works and also answering questions that would be passed on to them, but many ICO in existence this days don't do this because they don't have good intentions in mind and will never want to release their identity for everyone to see.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross on: April 25, 2019, 11:52:17 AM
Yes , we have all been celebrating since the beginning of the year, due to the growth in price we have been seeing, my prediction was that at the 2nd quarter of the year, we would see the price of bitcoin gain a resistance in the $5000 range, and that's what we are seeing already. I believe we are still yet to see the best price in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that has great potentials, before the end of the fourth quarter of the year, we should hit $10,000.
239  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: April 24, 2019, 08:57:31 PM
Actually, I can't really imagine crypto without blockchain technology, and I suppose it's one the most innovative things crypto brought to this market, so, it's up to you to make any kind of conclusions
Blockchain can also be helpful in your business just like some people do say, but it is not needed in every business. So you need to have some thoughts about it before you proceed with making use of the technology in your business. As for now the main advantage of blockchain technology is that it provides speed in transactions and you also don't need a middleman, you get to avoid a lot of charges and pay less for everything. So you have to check if this is safe and beneficial for your business before you go for it.
240  Economy / Services / Re: Can i hire people here to work in team and earn crypto? on: April 24, 2019, 08:33:18 PM
Why don't you try to be specific and state the kind of job you want these people to work on and how they will be able to make from it, so that people with interest can apply. The kind of job posting I see in this forum is really annoying sometimes, I don't know why people are fond of keeping their jobs like a secret and when you pm them at last you just get to find out that the job is just a penny job and a total waste of time. Try to be open next time you're posting a job so that people will know what kind of job it is and that also shows that you're being honest and not just some kind of scammers that needs free work done for him.
