221  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 22 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: September 20, 2018, 03:33:26 AM
Have you got your account back? I had the same issue after joining on Primedice forum. They have got confused with another account which uses same IP and banned my account. This rarely happens if you are using VPN. Then I created a new account and contacted Dan (Admin) and explained my issue. He helped me to retrieve my account and deleted the new one. I hope this would work for you. Good luck  Smiley
Finally i can give answer to your question: yes. I have registered second account at Primedice forum and have created a thread -> Why user Xandry was banned?
For the unknown reason I was banned by Russian moderator Yaronovich.
Some issues relating to this forum?
Did you ban him here so in return he banned you there? Inter forum tussles end up ugly for both the parties Tongue
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan for the next world wide recession. Are you planning on such? on: September 20, 2018, 03:05:20 AM
Though I voted for it would be all peachy but still this thread needs attention and I hope we can have some serious talk about it.
Why not consider moving this thread to Ivory Tower board?
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 20, 2018, 02:55:43 AM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
Why are you FU***NG sad about it? No where in your story have you mentioned that you really bought the ETH at some price. Youre just having mood swings because the coin isnt doing good?

And even if you bought it, then you should have known that if it can go up then it can very well come down too.  If someone is making a profit then someone else in the other part of the world is loosing his money in that (until its a ponzi scheme that runs for too long).
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in the future, token holders need KYC on: September 20, 2018, 02:50:53 AM
maybe in the future all token holders need KYC so that a token cannot be misused for bad or illegal things. Is it possible
90% of the population here don't want their KYC thing to be done.
And it would be really against the basic idea of anonymity and freedom of transacting if you start asking for KYC.

Also, people still get their KYC done while buying tokens worth more than 1K$ or so , this is just to make sure that the source of funding for buying the tokens is legit enough.
225  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: September 20, 2018, 02:47:40 AM
So the main purpose of this is

Quote
- Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

Great Idea, but still in some point it will disregarded or doesn't matter. If you know what I mean.

I have the feeling that some users are going to start trading sMerit points..
just saying. I still believe in the goodness and honesty of the people. But it is a possibility.
It started to happen since time immemorial. I remember people making some reports about merit getting sold on other forums, particularly HF. Don't know the validity of the report but, people were also selling merit on gambling site chats.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: September 20, 2018, 02:37:52 AM
Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
I feel the same about it. Its the bounty hunters who dump it and slide down the price.

There is a way of tackling this too : i.e : dont pay all of the bounties in a go. Make a list of payments and then send the payments in a gap of 2-3 days per 20 people or so.

It might take time but it will be done for the overall good of the token
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will make blockchain go mainstream for real? on: September 20, 2018, 02:34:24 AM
Today, I saw a post on Coindesk by David Chaum, saying blockchain needs up to 100,000 transactions per second before it can go mainstream for real. What are your thoughts on this?  What contributions do you have to foster blockchain adoptions and applications in real life?
To give tough competition to other prevalent means and to cope up with number of actions taken up by our ever increasing population we really need to reach those numbers of hundreds of thousands of transaction per second.

Also reaching the mainstream is not just about the tx/ second, its more about people's adoption and that adoption is not merely based on the speed of it. A large part of our population also gets instructed by the government and the media to do what about what.

We need everyone's support for the blockchain to go mainstream and for people to actually understand what it really is.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feel like quitting on: September 20, 2018, 02:28:37 AM
Honestly there are more reasons to quit? When I see my rank become a newbie again I feel empty and nothing to do. And in the other side I see the market price falling without changes. But it keeps on falling down. Literally like I am far on achieving my goals. Can someone help me on what strategy I will do to get some merit points and how to do when the market price is low?
Are you from one of those people who came into crypto because your friend told you its a get rich quick thing? Winklevoss got rich so can you?

Trust me nothing makes you rich very quickly except for hard work or when your luck works too hard. Dont quit , love crypto as a currency we'll go up, see it just for selling and buying, we go down.

233  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 🔥IOU Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post 🔥 on: September 13, 2018, 04:20:06 AM
All new applications denied.
Nice. I was expecting for that. Seems like these new applicants are not reading the Campaign's rules.

For those who were denied. I would like to save Zapo's time for explaining the reasons why you guys are not accepted. Here are the possible reasons. After reading this, please don't make any more complaints why you were denied.
270 required merits for Sr. Member. Please read the rules.
520 required merits for Hero Member. Please read the rules.
110 required merits for Full Member.  Please read the rules.

270 required merits for Sr. Member. Please read the rules.

270 required merits for Sr. Member. Please read the rules.

Almost all posts were made in Local board.
Almost all posts were also made in Local board.
People do read the rules but many of them are in the hope that as the campaign has open spots, the manager will take in members with less merit (as is not the case in this campaign), so most of them just apply to try out their luck.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: September 13, 2018, 03:58:09 AM
I still remember, that was the lowest point in my life. It all started when I put up a soccer bet and I won quite a lot, that made me addicted, every day I always gamble on soccer betting, as time goes by that defeat starts to get familiar with me, I lose a lot of money and stuff I have everything run out. Even I started to owe the bank to be able to gamble, and that was the wrong way.

All of this is a lesson for me, now I am still gambling but within the limits of the money I have, if the money in my pocket is up I will go home. Don't owe to gamble.
That is the problem with gambling.
Once you win with the beginners luck you feel addicted into it and specially into sports betting.
Everyone feels like there will be a time when there picks will do the job and they'll win, multiplying money 100s of times.

I my personally have multiplied my money 120x in sports gambling. But i have also lost almost the same amount that i have won. I am not addicted to it but i do it for the fun of watching the sport
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: September 13, 2018, 03:55:19 AM
The answer is simple - NOTHING.
There is now nothing that makes me trust a new coin.
At this point of time so many coins have come into action that all of them look like a scam and i feel that even the ones that are legit become a scam seeing other pump and dumo coins.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thats it on: September 13, 2018, 03:51:59 AM
This what will happen when a community of greedy ppl all wants to be millionaires at night , the plane is going down and no one want to jump everyone is waiting for the other to die first so he can have a chance to live , and what can i say "we will all die holding hands"
Cheers
Also, there can be one more idea over this.
What if everyone keeps holding hands and the hold is sp strong that even the whales are not able to drop down the price because everyone is hoarding and waiting for the price to increase and then seeing the confidence of these holders, others also come into crypto and start doing the same.
The price shoots up and the first one to begin selling is the winner (others might win less but most of them will).

Ends: 17/09/18 @ Midday (12pm) GMT

Can you achieve the impossible? Well maybe not impossible, but definitely not easy! This week on HiLo we are looking for anyone who can reveal 10 or more cards in one bet. This includes the opening card, so you would need technically a streak of 9. All players who achieve the challenge in the next 7 days, will get a share in the prize pool! There is no limit to the amount of winners, and the more players who get involved the higher the prize pool! So if you get more players involved, then you win more!

Requirement

Reveal 10 cards in HiLo with a winning bet. (First card included)
Minimum bet is 100 satoshi bitcoin or 1200 ether ethereum.
Bets must have been made after the commencement of this promotion.
    Ghost mode must be disabled.
    10+ Post count on forum.

Prize Pool(s) (based on amount of unique players)

    Minimum prize pool: 0.01 BTC
If over 30 participants: 0.03 BTC
If over 40 participants: 0.05 BTC
If over 50 participants: 0.08 BTC

https://forum.stake.com/topic/12644-%F0%9F%8F%86-008-btc-mission-impossible-hilo-challenge/
And this the first challenge that I have successfully been able to complete without loosing much btc.
The only problem is I dont have a forum account with more than 10posts on primedice.

So can i transfer my winning bet to someone else or just ask someone else to post on my behalf?

Also its great to see house edge reducing. I am bored of playing dice. Lets see how chart works out for me.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH pump from 167$ to 184$ time to buy ? on: September 13, 2018, 12:01:19 AM
These past weeks are the best time to invest in eth, I still believe in eth and I'm hoping that it would reach $1000 by the end of the year or by early 2019. Buying eth right now would give us a huge profit when the right time comes.
What makes you feel that it will reach as high as 1k?

Ethereum will never reach that amount by the year end. This can only happen if btc reaches to around 30K$.

Stop making castles in the air, there is still constant dumping happening and will continue to happen till there is a media news about something good happening to ether.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH pump from 167$ to 184$ time to buy ? on: September 12, 2018, 11:07:30 PM
Damn, finally some good news!!
I can see some crazy demand at binance, it will surely cross 190 by by tonight! So much green~

It's not a pump for sure, it's finally getting at its true value. At 160s ETH was undervalued for sure.
Anything at 230 will be so good, I will sell them off once they hit 220s!
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casino game gives you the best odds of winning? on: September 12, 2018, 08:36:35 PM
Not a casino game but if you are looking for gambling then sports betting has pretty good and fair odds.
And it isn't rigged either.I will choose sports betting over casinos games anytime.

Since it's not just "luck".But of course, it has an equal risk.
