221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one of these is a shitcoin according to you guys? on: April 21, 2019, 02:16:15 PM
Ripple! Thats it. I just dont like a crypto that is connected to a bank and honestly I dont see any future about this coin I would probably go with electroneum which I believe can make a breathrough in crypto world in the next couple of years but for the other I dont any sentiments since I havent heard of them.
Right now, I think we really need to support anything that will make bank and government continue to consider cryptocurrency if such project is also a good coin which I thin ripple is, as we have seen their negative reaction to cryptocurrency in the past.

If it’s ripple that will continue to make their presence exist in cryptocurrency, I don’t have an issue with it, they cannot completely go against what they are benefiting from, with more of systems like ripple that will be of interest to them, they will be part of the community pushing for the legalization of cryptocurrency when the time comes.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is growing. Someone's pouring money into it. on: April 21, 2019, 01:48:14 PM
Yes, I think the price of ethereum is starting to grow, I think all altcoin prices have the same thing. because now the price of bitcoin is also experiencing better prices, so I think the price of ethereum and other altcoin prices will also rise.
Ethereum based projects are really increasing and most of the ones coming up now have products that are high in demand, so as they demand for ethereum to carry out their projects, it will keep seeing a very good increase in its value.

I believe that ethereum will keep growing too with good projects surrounding it and perform to its best when the market finally enter the bull market, many people will pour in big money same time into BTC and ethereum, that will cause a very wide increase for them, since these two coins are still the most popular and most dependable coins among all other coin for now.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 21, 2019, 01:16:51 PM
I think Spurs are in trouble because they have managed to steal one game from Denver on their home which is very difficult to achieve but they have given up one at their own home as well which Spurs are known to be great at, now that the series is tied its almost impossible for Spurs to take another win from Denver on their home court, that chance only happens once in a series and doing that twice is very rare, its still possible but it will be insanely difficult.

I just wish Dejounte was back, dude plays so well for defense and rebounding that he could have shut down Murray and anyone else Spurs needed. Jokic just put the Denver team roster higher on skill rate because he did absolutely anything he wanted and he really brought this win home all by himself. That Craig and Barton switch helped out a lot too.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: April 21, 2019, 09:06:58 AM
It is not compulsory to watch. You guys stop making it feel like those who don’t watch matches cannot bet on it. That’s really not true, what happens to following up with highlights, news or predicting agents, even though some agents that predict matches could request for a token.

I have been gambling for a very longtime now and I can count the number of matches that I have watched, not that I just choose not to watch but I don’t have the time because of my work. But, I wouldn’t let that be a barrier and then stop me from betting on sports, I still bet without watching and sincerely speaking, the profits I have made is more than the loses.
Exactly mate, I have read through and it’s just weird how some comments make it look like it is a terrible act for those who do not watch the game to engage in the betting. I am planning to start betting soon but I don’t think I would have the luxury of time to be watching all games and you suggestions about highlights, YouTube and the rest of them makes a lot of sense and I think I would stick with that. Watching the game is good for those who have the time to but doesn’t stop people who cannot watch from.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 21, 2019, 08:27:06 AM
Most people usually bet on sports they are interested in and watch those games, so they feel more confident in winning in those sports. That's why, they put higher bets on these sports.

They put their money into sports betting because they can gather valid information from every source so they can predict which teams will have a big chance to win. Sometimes I watch my friend collecting many news or data from the sources he had and analyzing one by one, and after making some analysis about the teams, he will choose the teams. Sometimes I am amazed at the money he uses for betting because he always shows me the amount of money. The minimum amount of money that he shows me is about $100 that is because he cannot get much information about the team, so he says that the chance to win is 50:50.

Still, when someone is sure with the information he can get, he can spend a lot of money just to win the games, and yes, they can win the game with big money.
I think you are very conversant with how it works already.
Your friend is the real gamer and he is a good business man as well. The only betting that can pay ones efforts or reward ones skills is sport betting and this is the reason committing a high money to bet on sport bet is usually easy to do.

Just like your friend, I do same, I don’t see any amount as something too big for me to commit on sports betting because I will do my research very well and at the end of the day it ends up with good results.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 21, 2019, 07:54:09 AM
I don’t see any foolishness in spending money from regular job or investment to gamble as long as it is done in moderation. Why then do we work if we cannot spend from our earnings or savings to do the things that make us happy of which gambling is one of them.

If you say you use un-spendable money, you should be able to specify the source of the un-spendable money. Definitely the money is from a source, we can actually gamble from salary but it has to be after savings has been separated and will always remember not to gamble what would cost us too much.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 20, 2019, 08:45:52 PM
Oladipo of course would make a difference, saying otherwise would be disingenuous to say the least. I think the real question is will it be enough? I mean if they had Oladipo they would be better than they are right now but I doubt they would be better than Celtics. Celtics is playing with a lot of defensive strengths on their side and brad Stevens is one of the best defensive coaches in the league, that means even if they can't score much they will certainly hold you down to a low score as well.

Oladipo is not some Kevin Durant type player who can take over a whole game so he probably wouldn't find any solutions neither. They are all around not as good as Celtics no matter what, not because Celtics is amazing but they are just simply better than Pacers with this roster.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 20, 2019, 06:39:23 PM
i do make researches into my ICOs before investing into it because that is one the possible ways to avoid throwing your money into some useless ICO. Researching into the ICO also gives you a fair idea about the development plans of the project and makes you to make an important decision as to how much to invest, how long to hold the tokens before selling it off.
I myself have lost some funds to ICO project, but that was when I did gamble with my projects too, I just look at the project using what the whitepaper says without doing further research, but ever since I have been doing a thorough research before investing in ICO, I have not really had any issue.

Most time, if I need to make any further investment, I don’t invest in pre ICO ales, I don’t invest immediately when they even get listed on exchange, except I am in for the pump,  if I believe in the project for a long term investment, I wait for it to be listed, get reviews and see their performance, mostly the one in TOP 30 in what I look into for now.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO on: April 20, 2019, 05:55:11 PM
IEOs will end as ICOs did. Bittrex first IEO listed a little above IEO price and has been trading below the price thereafter. There's no diff between IEO and ICOs the only difference is the instant exchange listing.
It's common to happen actually, when the token listed to exchange after ICO finished, the price will be dropped under the ico price. It takes time to wait until the price of that token increase, if the project success then the price will increase. It's same IEO and ICO, the different is IEO, the token can easily listed on the same exchange.
Well, I have always known that, the fact we see it as an IEO project is really not a full guarantee that the project will not be dumped or fail. I love the concept of IEO and I love the intention of the IEO initiator, but it is not all about exchanges, there are too many loop holes that cannot be covered alone by the Exchanges.

The community behind the projects are the real problem we have, a lot of them do not trust the project they invested in, and they are not in it for a long term opportunity, the moment they see the short term opportunity once the project gets listed, they dump the coin for the profit, making the price go below the IEO price.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Contribute to our ICO and get a 📦 MYSTERY BOX! 📦 on: April 20, 2019, 09:32:24 AM
Sending a physical mystery box would be very stressful and cost you a lot of many, instead of doing that, I would advise you save the money and use it for something better.

If you really want to give out mystery box to your investors, then you should give out a virtualbox, were they get their reward online and would be able to spend it online without having to get it physically, let say you give them something as a voucher that they can use once the platform is launch to carry out activities.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: More formal blockchain education needed in the Philippines on: April 20, 2019, 08:33:26 AM
I think just organizing conferences to enlighten people about the blockchain in Philippine might not be able to help so much, I think the best thing to do is to startup a blockchain academy for Philippines were they come and learn about the blockchain to its fullest, you can do it like udemy academy and issue certificate to students who would be able to pass the exams and graduate from the blockchain schools, I believe this way is more effective and it would help create more awareness about crypto than just hosting seminars.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: April 19, 2019, 06:31:10 PM
The tension that comes with gambling can change anyone from religion if not careful.
Just imagine when playing with huge money and you see that money at stake, you will call any God available at that moment for help.

I remember one time I was at a gambling center and the guy beside me who was an atheist kept on screaming oh help me God to win this game, it was really serious and then at the end of the game he felt relieved. Asking him how he won, he claimed he was just lucky.

I think the tension has a way of making any gambler believing in whatever power that can help at that moment.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 19, 2019, 05:56:41 PM
It is not a shock that Spurs won at home, it was weird to see them beat Denver at their home because Denver is one of those places where everyone loses because of the height and all that but also Spurs were not that great on the road, its just shows you how much different playoffs are.

However, one thing that came out of this game is derrick white, we all knew he was a good player but I didn't expected this much from him, he is literally playing like a player who is vital to the team now. Dejounte will come back soon and White will be there as well. For the guard spots they have White, Murray, Mills, Forbes, Bellinelli and rookie Lonnie. How are they going to shape the next year?

I mean I am not even talking about Derozan because he can play small forward now but that guard spot needs a revamp for sure, I hope they can get one or two good players on forward spots or they are going to be a team with just guards and bigs.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 18, 2019, 07:25:20 PM
Before I can consider investing in any project no matter how good the offer may look, I don’t look at the offer but most of the attributes you listed are very keen to me in investing, usually I don’t participate much in presale, I wait for such token to get to an exchange first after ICO to study and see their performance before investing.

In considering project to invest in, I have to also be convinced about their project team, I usually prefer those projects that do live stream when presenting, and through their presentation, I should be able to discern if the project is worth it or it’s another imaginary product that will not move the market forward, these I the things I strictly look into before investment is done.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin merger? on: April 18, 2019, 06:59:09 PM
Guys I have one idea running in my mind. There are hundreds of coins in the market and much more are waiting for hitting the market. Some of them are have much potentiality to dominate the market and stay, but many of them cannot compete and disappear or die young age.
So in such case facing the market, what about merger? If a good coin is ready to merge with another one, are not these problems resolved? And there will be a win-to-win situation?
The selfish factor would not allow this to be possible for many of them, as they would like to stand alone to gather all the profit instead of sharing, but this would not have been a bad idea, it will limit the number of coins we see on the market today without adding any meaning thing to the society.

The funny thing about them is that most of these coins that become shit later have similar concept which would have gone a long way of they had merged to execute such project, but the question is, who wants to approach who? Will some of their ago too create chance for such negotiation talk less of carrying it out, let just hope new projects will learn and do better.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 18, 2019, 02:22:40 PM
Today just cross bitcoin value $5227 i think it is the bulls back something like that Cry. I still can not understand how it might turn in the next day. But yes it seems to be passing by bitcoin to a leaven jump. In fact it like a promise step, even if Bitcoin value will cross $6000 then maybe 2017 year again come back.

Once it crosses the value of 5000$ many people are expecting the market is in bullish but we should consider it as bull run. Still, we need to wait for the market recovery because now altcoin prices are going down which makes still it is not the bull run.
It's quite funny how people always expect everything to be a bull run at all times. Just a slight movement upwards and everyone is already tagging it a bull run… humph. But let's keep watching the price chart and see where the price will be driving to. Though I'm not the type that believes what analysis has to say,  I do believe them but not that much, cause they are always not so accurate. They have been predicting bull run since 2018 but that never happened. Now they are saying it is 2019,lol...confused set of people who call themselves experts.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: April 18, 2019, 08:27:05 AM
To solve this the problem, we need to know how much money we should invest, never spend all of the money in cryptocurrency because we still live in real life. We still need money to buy many things for our life, we need money to secure our life, and we need money in our daily life.

For people who invest all of his money, he needs to realize this and needs to fix this before it's too late and it will make him lose everything.
No matter the advice you give mate, people will still invest more than what they are capable of losing, and I think the best way to solve this is to first embrace the main reason why the invention of Bitcoin came into being, we need to acknowledge the fact that it was created for payment system and probably useful as store value for tomorrow.

If most of us are just using the system for payment and saving our money in it for future purpose, then we will be able to overcome this, because I believe that in our traditional banking system, nobody saves all his money in one bank, so we should learn to save any money that is not what we use to run our lives in bitcoin and leave the rest for bitcoin to multiply gradually and overtime.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bearish road over? on: April 18, 2019, 12:59:46 AM
Still, people are great confusion whether the bearish market is over or it will continue for some more months, but with the increase in the price of Bitcoin many people are considering it like a bull run, from the past two weeks we are seeing huge altcoin fluctuation which makes us that this is not a bull run we need to wait and see for some more months about the market situations.

The market is very puzzling right now.
Investors cannot really understand with the market go up or down because there are not clear indications for that (at least in my opinion). Only the RSI can help me make a consensus but this is not enough in its own.

Are you guys noob ?  The market situation will always be the same even before . this because of their volatility . volatility is said the reason on why the value of cryptos are verry unstable  . and what is that rsi that you are talking about ? Is that some kind of an instituion or organization that makes prediction and analysis ?   Overall .  id say that the bear market is not yet over because the price is still cheap in my own opinion .
This is where you are getting it all wrong, I am not perfect and you can quote me wrong but I really think that you should not use the price of bitcoin to judge its performance, what if BTC had been agreed on to be a stable coin, and we don’t see any fluctuation, does that mean that the coin is not functioning? Bitcoin will not always remain volatile, one day, its volatility will surely come to an end like that of gold.

The total marketcap of gold can swallow up the total marketcap of Bitcoin about 50 times and yet the price of Gold has still not crossed above $42000. The most important thing that will keep Bitcoin successful is the volume and price is just secondary.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes tokens been dumped after a successful ICO. on: April 17, 2019, 06:04:47 PM
Everyone wants to make as much profit as possible and those with the larger tokens , meaning investors and presale buys mostly want to get rid of their tokens to make as much profit as soon as possible and another factor is listing on low volume exchange, nothing dumps token faster than listing on a low volume exchange because everyone knows it would dump and everyone is willing to selling asap
We can as well attribute the failure of these tokens to the project management team, they gave chance to dumping by listing on low quality exchanges because they are cheap, which interprets to people that they always go after low quality things.

The way these people present themselves is the way their investors will also move along with them, so I wouldn’t blame investors that are dumping on them because the projects has not really proved itself to be worthy of our wait. Until projects start proving their quality than the profit hyping they use in luring investors to put in their money.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we should do for bitcoin on: April 17, 2019, 03:58:57 PM
It seems to me that Bitcoin will simply go down in history. It is a pioneer in the cryptocurrency market and is probably therefore still appreciated by enthusiasts. But if today we start using Bitcoin as a means of payment, then its relevance will greatly increase, but so far I do not see such prospects.

I see a lot of people like you, think Bitcoin will be king forever. Maybe for the time being I think no altcoin is able to overcome Bitcoin, but the future will be. And people now no longer want to use Bitcoin to pay
That research of yours is not that accurate, this is even the time that many merchants are beginning to introduce bitcoin pay into their system, I have heard of some news about more than 100 coffee shops that has introduced it, I also heard of a pizza store who has introduced it also in one of these countries that are great but not popular, if bitcoin can be accepted in less popular countries, what do we think about the popular ones.

We need to really do a lot of research to see how Bitcoin is strongly being debated by very top foreign bodies, bitcoin has really gone too popular and the only thing that is just hindering it from being used as payment by very big institutions is still the volatility, which will be a thing of the past soon.
