221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: November 15, 2016, 12:59:02 PM
I think the best game in the International market is Chile vs Uruguay. Chile held Columbia at a goalless draw a few days ago and now they are playing against Uruguay. Both teams to score is the best option here and also over 2.5 goals although the odd is high this doesn't mean anything. In fact usually S.America games , majority of them end in over 2.5 goals and both teams to score too.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NOVEMBER: Full Stake 10/10 units bets.... on: November 12, 2016, 06:49:00 PM
You can also keep track of losing and winning bets. People cannot be oriented just by posting bets in here, they need units, win/loss ratio, ROI so far positive or negative whatever it is. You will not have any real follower by just posting bets here. You need to provide full stats too so the people can decide are you a good tipster or the one you claim to follow and then they can follow you if the stats are in your favor.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is CPU mining bad for my processor? on: November 10, 2016, 08:25:37 PM
Not a problem at all for you CPU. It'll work at 100% load for 20+ years, if not over-volted. Your motherboard won't last that long, though. Probably around 10 years if it's a quality board. You'll have gotten rid of it long before any issues pop up, unless something is faulty and has yet to manifest.

Might be bad for your wallet, though. Not very many things are worth mining on a CPU.

My mainboard is top of the line MSI PRO GUARD series of 6th generation. It's good to know that my CPU will last 20+ years, cause I don't know even if I myself will be alive after 20 years Smiley. Well I have a dual core + hyperthread and I have only set it to mine ZCASH now from ZecSupernova.cc pool (finally I found how to do it and I am mining at 4-5 Sol/s, so I am only using about 50% of my processor power Smiley.

I think I am safe, cause processor is a stock core i3 not over volted and working on extreme temperatures Smiley. Thanks for your help. Anyway I will mine only 1 month to see the result than will start with an amd rx 460 card.

By the way is it bad for my mainboard mining with a GPU or only bad for the GPU(cause regarding the GPU I don't really care) ?
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most precise definition of gambling? on: November 10, 2016, 07:24:25 PM
Gambling--- That illusion that tells you by betting some money on a specific game or event will make you a lot of money without having to work hard for that.

Well...... unfortunately as said in the sentence above it's just an illusion. Gambling is an illusion we all have some time.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is CPU mining bad for my processor? on: November 10, 2016, 07:21:29 PM
I have a new processor and it gives me about 52 H/s by mining Bytecoin. So I am happily letting it run through the miner incorporated in the wallet I downloaded from bytecoin.org .

My question is , will this make the life of my brand new cpu shorter or it's not a problem at all ? Also my processor only uses about 50 watt so the electricity is almost non existent I guess .... ?

227  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 09, 2016, 03:16:52 PM
Since there are more than 800k members here the signature campaign still remains the best option for a new business which is bitcoin related to be promoted in this forum.

It will have the exposure needed for a new business. Cannot say how long signature campaings will last but this forum is the best option still for advertising a bitcoin related business.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: November 09, 2016, 10:58:08 AM
I have latest 6gen intel procesor dual core + 2 hyper threads (almost a quad core but not for true cores) and I am mining bytecoin via minergate software.

I want to ask my processor only uses 51 watt as maximum TDP, will it use more while I am mining this coin ? 51 watt is nothing even in places like mine where electricity is super expensive. Let me know guys.

Does it damage my processor ?
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 09, 2016, 10:18:43 AM
What's wrong with the world I am asking and is not because I lost 2 BTC by betting on Hillary but because Americans voted for a guy like Trump. How will they explain to their kids that a guy who insults women, insults emigrants , insult religious people can become the president of America? By this example they cannot do it. They cannot try to learn to their kids that if you insult women and consider them only sexual objects you yell and insult people you can be a better man or woman.

Sad story, Trump president of USA.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: November 08, 2016, 07:35:37 PM
There's no real strategy as of now in Roulette. It used to be the famous martingale when you had an infinite bankroll and casinos (real life casinos) didn't have limits, you could always end up winning there as long as you only kept betting on red or black and doubling the wager each time. This became famous in really short time so casinos in real life set limits making this strategy worthless.

It cannot be done in online casinos as they are controlled by a program and it may roll even red 100 times (such thing never happens in real life, out of 100 rolls to be all red).

Get off the roulette to some other game, stay away from games of luck such as roulette.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What can I mine with this CPU ? on: November 08, 2016, 04:28:56 PM
Ok will try it when I go home, meanwhile I let the minergate run at my work PC(dual core pc but with free electricity gets 10 h/s for mining monero through minergate).

I want to ask another thing here since I am here, when I do web mining at minergate at my home pc i3 I get about 20 H/s in web mining monero and at work PC I only get 4H/s. Does this mean that web mining is utilizing my CPU power or not ?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What can I mine with this CPU ? on: November 07, 2016, 08:04:40 PM
I just recently upgraded my PC and I have an intel i3 6100 without dedicated card (this coming soon as project cars crashes sometimes with Intel HD530 which is integrated) but until I get the dedicated card RX 460 or RX 470 or maybe a GTX 1060 I want to ask you guys is this CPU good enough to mine Ethereum or whatever coin it's profitable to mine with this.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit here but soon will upgrade to latest version of Windows 10 released just now in October.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: November 06, 2016, 02:14:28 PM
I think that because a lot of people betting on Nice here  a nasty surprise may happen here (of course I hope not). I have even played the safe side by playing Nice draw no bet with an odd of 1.73 because I was not totally sure about the win. Odd is sextremely high (no it's not a grammar error I right sextremely intentionally) so a lot of doubts here for me. I hope it's a win in the end.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ANY STRATEGY TO WIN IN GAMBLING? on: November 06, 2016, 02:09:38 PM
Follow a good tipster. In this forum there are a lot of tipsters threads, especially in the Gambling discussion section. Pretty much all of them in the long run are in profit. The strategy to win in gambling is all over the gambling discussion place, you just have to have a lot of patience and not get tempted to play other bets rather than them of the tipsters. I am talking about sports book normally.

There are even some persons there who are doing SURE BETS but for this you need a lot of money.  A sure bet is one which you play 3 different outcomes in 3 different booking sites and end up winning from 2-6% of your initial bankroll no matter what the outcome of the event is.

Now if you wanna go and ruin your money in dice, roulette and slots no one is going to stop you Smiley but better don't.
235  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: RAM drive or SSD to hold blockchain. on: November 04, 2016, 08:28:37 PM
I have tried it, but with a pruned chain. I can confirm it was faster to download the full blockchain compared to doing the same thing (also pruned) on my SSD. Test results: at the start, it was limited by my Wifi speed (2-3 MB/s), later on it was limited by my CPU (i3).

Obviously I don't have enough ram to do this without pruning, so I can't test a rescan. My HDD takes about 40 minutes to do a full rescan (for instance when I import a private key).
If you're now using a slow HDD, I'd say switching to a SSD is enough for a big improvement. If it reads 500 MB/s, it can read the entire blockchain in 3 minutes.

Personally I only use ram-drives for temporary files. I don't want to have to backup data, although you could argue you can always download it again.

So getting a 960 GB SSD is the ultimate solution to increase speed when rescanning the bitcoin core ? It's quite expensive but I think it maybe worth it. Personally I don't use bitcoin core that much but I have it sitting on my Laptop Core i5 and a really old HDD 750 GB and is extremely slow. I think the SSD with big space is the best solution to such problem. Price is the same as a big server ram for such huge space SSD.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: November 04, 2016, 08:18:24 PM
Actually for people who want to mine ethereum with the lowest watts spent a good choice is core i3 6100 51 watt and Amd RX 460 73 Watt so in total you will not use more than 150 watt including other PC components.

The downfall is with such card you will only profit about 2.3 Eth per month or 0.033 btc or 20-22 USD per month pure profit.

I would love to hear more low power mining rigs than this.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My new XMR+ ETH thread builds info and other stuff thoughts and photos included. on: November 04, 2016, 08:11:45 PM
Claymore's ZCASH miner v1.0
Equipment: 6 x RX470
Results: 258 SOL
SOL per GPU: 41
Pool: FlyPool
Watts per GPU: 58
Watts at the wall: 669
Running Steady for 10 min

How come Watts per GPU is that low with only 58 Watt. When I check all videos, youtube, google websites regarding TPD power of RX 470 is 150 Watt , have you tweaked them or something or have you modded the Bios like many persons are suggesting on the internet ? Also I am getting a core i3 6100 with an Amd RX 460 is it worth mining Zcash as Ethereum it isn't (in ethereum only 18-22 USD per month profit) ?

How much profit you make in Btc with 41 SOL  for a month ?
238  Economy / Lending / Re: I need to loan 0.04 or 0.035 i will pay in 7 days. on: November 04, 2016, 08:02:18 PM
I feel really sorry for Jeremycoin, he was cheated by a Sr.Member who was stupid enough to let his account go for 0.03 btc or a bit more. Lending in nowadays consists of really big risks so it's better to deal with only very trusted members of this community. I have thought many times to start a lending service as I have about 3 btc in my hardware wallet yet because of such happenings here I have always turned back from my decision of doing so.

A friendly advice to all the people who want to start a lending business. Since bitcoin is very volatile you can play by trading it buy low sell a bit high and it will be much safer then starting a lending service.

How about reading a bit before posting. This signature campaign is only for Sr.Members and above rank. You are a member which is far compared to Sr.Member. First improve your posts by reading the thread before replying and then you can go search for a signature campaign like Whyfuture, and a few others which accepts member rank like you.
240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com vs Bitcoin.org? on: November 04, 2016, 07:01:01 PM
Bitcoin.org is the perfect start for newbies as it covers thoroughly which wallet is better for you.

Bitcoin.com I only learned about it from this thread and checked it out. Well it was like described way too commercial for my taste.

So if you want information on where to sell/buy bitcoins you need to go to bitcoin.com as it has useful links to such websites.

If you want to learn more about bitcoin, the way it works and if you want to download a desktop wallet or learn about hardware wallets go to bitcoin.org
