221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 25, 2022, 01:58:02 AM
even if Manny were to lose this fight would it affect its legacy? No,

As long as there's a charity involved, his legacy won't be ruined by doing exhibition matches.

But in my own assumption, I believed that the charity purpose is just a show-off although they will really lend help to their chosen charity. The match was organized not because of charity but because they just want to put up a show for profit, of course. The charity purpose is just the secondary goal.

because we know that he is past his best days and there is nothing else for him to prove, even his losses while he was still a professional boxer will not affect his legacy,

Manny Pacquaio can still fight, and DK Yoo is not even a hard boxer.

Is it ok for you to see Pacquiao losing against that celebrity? That will totally ruin his legacy believed me. Smiley

I could care less who took the shot. I'm more into the manner how it was taken. Anyone with good awareness would run down the clock before taking it. Doing so would also give the opponent as little time as possible to make their own play. That's not how "superstars" are in my book. He's supposed to be the first to know being the floor general.

If that shot was made, then he will be a hero of the night, right? Even though it's considered a bad play of the night, what if the other way around happened? With lots of critics about him, even if he didn't attempt to make that shot, if the Lakers will lose, he's still blamed for that loss.

I don't consider that bad play for him as truly bad because it means he still has the confidence to take that clutch shot that totally almost not present in him last season because of too much pressure from the critics. It's hard to play with all eyes looking at him.

The whole Lakers have to blame for why they lost that game. They are in lead by about 9 points in the last 2 minutes of that game. Is it only because of Westbrook that they blew that lead in the last minutes?
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 24, 2022, 10:20:53 PM
I don't know on what part of the game last night between Ginebra and Magnolia becomes rigged or scripted in favor of Ginebra. These people who are complaining are in need of serious medication as they don't know what they are talking about. If only they watched the game live, they will see that both teams really fight aggressively to win.

The bitter reaction just because Magnolia choked on that game where almost the majority expects that they already won the game. Ginebra just doesn't give up that's why they managed to cut the deficit that they are trying to lessen the whole entire game.

Team effort is the reason why they won.
224  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 24, 2022, 10:07:39 PM
What's the use of using crypto to gamble on a KYC requestion platform ? One of the reasons for gambling with your crypto would be privacy. If I need to send them my ID and house bills that becomes pretty redundant.

While looking for that privacy why do you choose crypto-gambling, do you mean you are also comfortable playing gambling with an anonymous crypto-casino?

That's why regulators came in to protect the users and ensure that they are playing only against a reputable casino. If these crypto-casinos are not regulated, how can they even protect those users that will experience scams because of the site?

Part of the regulation is the KYC requirements but can you please tell me what crypto-gambling sites mandate KYC for their users?

Stop with this "crypto-gambling = privacy" because even before, you should expect that we can't fully enjoy crypto without a touch of centralization.
225  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 24, 2022, 10:00:45 PM
Hey here. I want to try myself in casino playing, but I am really afraid of being scammed. Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..

It's quite easy to minimize the risks of being scammed. The first thing you need to do is to find a very active gambling site's Announcement thread here and just by reading the discussion there, you can determine if that gambling site is legitimate or not. That's the best thing in considering the ANN thread as your steady reference to check if the gambling site is worth trying.

I'm sure you are not new to the internet and cyber world that's why I believed you understand well how to deal with any gambling sites.

"The Los Angeles Lakers added depth at point guard on Friday by signing veteran Dennis Schroder to a one-year, $2.64 million deal, according to The Athletic and Stadium's Shams Charania."
https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/10049221-lakers-updated-roster-rotation-after-reported-dennis-schroder-contract.amp.html

Looks like the Lakers are into Guards these days and it was stated in this report that even if they add more role players, that wouldn't mean much if their main players will not be healthy like James and Davis. Schroder's performance in the Eurobasket and last season with the Rockets was spectacular and I think signing him is a good addition to take Westbrook's lapses in the backcourt, they got PatBev too that may help the defensive end.

What the hell happened here lol?

Dennis Schroder might be in regret now his decision before when the Lakers offered him $84 million over four years and now accepting a one-year contract worth $2.64 million. That's what happened when a player is truly believed in himself. He thinks that $84 million for 4 years is not worth his performance. that's why he rejected the offer. There's even no team that likes to spend money on him on that contract price but only the Lakers.

With his current status, I don't see him getting a chance in the future to get a decent contract again. Arrogant player. Smiley
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 17, 2022, 07:00:55 AM
Here are the official weigh-in:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVHU44zuj48

Move forward to 4:48, GGG looks huge at 168 lbs hehehe.

GGG - 167.8
Canelo - 167.4 pounds

So let's see if GGG moving to super middleweight and with that added extra pounds will make him perform much better in this fight. Again, it's the debate about GGG age vs Canelo prime years, gonna be a good match for sure.

Golovkin's current build is awesome. Is he really an aging boxer @ 40 years old? We can say that he is in good shape and no signs that he undergo heavy and intense training. I'm amazed at the disciplined in taking care of his body.

If no one knows about the real age of GGG, he can be mistakenly looked at as having the same age as Canelo.

But it's just his physical appearance. The real strength will be seen in the actual fight. Just around 17 hours to go of waiting and the event will now take place.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Set Of Action When Your Account Face An Issue on: September 06, 2022, 12:28:40 AM
So you're playing in a casino and you triple your wager but when you try to withdraw you cannot what set of actions are you going to do,
Are you going to screenshot your dashboard and your deposit, are you going to create a ticket first and ask support what happens to your account or you will ask chat support and screenshot all conversations because of the fear of getting your account ban, or you will directly post your concern here in Bitcointalk.

It's not appropriate to just cry here in the forum where no exact details yet from the site why you ended up on that problem. Sending a ticket should do first. Their response should include clear details of what happened. Maybe just a bug, a technical problem, and related things that are common. But if the reason is related to violating their TOS, it should be clearly explained why. If you found the response not satisfying, then you can now create a thread here for discussions related to that matter.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 06, 2022, 12:18:40 AM
At least Butler will punch back, unlike a punching bag, hehehe. Paul might show his skills in this fight early, trying to evade those power punches from Inoue. But sooner or later he will be fold because he doesn't have answers to the Monster volume punching + power. This could be another great performance by Inoue and become the top 1 in the pound for pound list this year.

But Butler's punch-back surely can't be considered a threat. hehe. I also can't see him dodging most of Inoue's punch. I agree that he will turn into a punching bag by Inoue. Butler should be happy though for the opportunity to fight Inoue. I think he didn't expect to be in an undisputed match in the first place.

This will be Butler's most notable fight. If he will win, that's a considered jackpot for him.

Does this means only 28 post needed for the entire 30 days of joining the campaign please clarify us about this rule.

Come on, what clarification do you need?

Is there something confusing about that rule?

Why not escrowed the funds and post the escrow address along with on the campaign thread for more trust and transparencies if you think people won't trusted you after the campaign ends for payments.

Please DYOR. They just posted their new service/website here to act as a good alternative in the absence of Preev.com (which is likely can consider inactive by now).  If they will shit on this campaign, what will they gain in return?

In other words, OP is just shilling the 1Xbit. There's no need for any advice.

The feedback on the site's forum representative and overall feedback here is already enough.

Why even create a separate thread about this. Simply, OP is trying to turn around things about 1xbit which is not possible.

Congratulations on running a signature campaign in the forum, I would have not known this site if I didn't see that campaign that was just launched. Good luck and may you be able to attract gamblers to play with your site.

Yeah saw their campaign. But are we fine with this that we allow them to just attract more users? The site just recently have a problem and it took almost half a year before it was resolved. They don't have good communication with their users. Their CM should do its homework first before accepting the work. Good luck anyway.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 08, 2022, 07:59:51 PM
Think many times before you make a decision. Borrowing from someone or lending to a company just for a gamble that you have no guarantee that you will win is not a joke.

Because debt and gambling addiction is one of the causes of depression today and sometimes even leads to wrongdoing or suicide. And it’s even sadder if you have a wife and children and ruined your family because of being buried in debt because of gambling. It is not bad for a person to give his own happiness, but we must have or know our limits.

239  Other / Serious discussion / Re: DO YOU KNOW HEALTH IS WEALTH ? on: March 16, 2022, 10:06:07 AM
People don't care for themselves while tryna chase Money... A little of self care we could do for ourselves are Viz ;
Eating something green everyday.
Have a regular doctor visits.
Workout three to four days weekly.
Spend good time for yourself.
Have daily and enough sex.
Go get two to three times body massage monthly.
Watch and listen to what makes you laugh.
Stay cautious of your environment and be observant.
Covids still around the block, get yourself vaccinated, protect yourself further against it

Self care is  mandatory!

I agree with this, we really need to prioritize our health. No matter how hard we try at work and no matter how much we earn, if we neglect our health, all our efforts and hard work will be waste.

Regular exercise is a big help for our body following the eating of nutritious foods and drinks. It is very important that we be healthy because we can do more every day when we keep our body strong and healthy. And we will not just get sick. Especially in today's time when we are facing an unending pandemic, even if vaccinated we can still be infected or hit by the virus. And even more so when this deadly virus becomes more deadly or mutates, our only defense is to keep our body and our health strong.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: March 16, 2022, 03:27:54 AM
For me I prefer number 1, it's better that you reinvest your stocks, but of course, not all your stocks will invest. Just be wise when investing, even though the risk of investing in cryptocurrencies is high, you will learn a lot and your knowledge about the right investment will expand.

Many altcoins today have great potential and are good to invest in. All we need is diligence and perseverance and above all long patience, because we know that it takes time and time before our investment grows. At first, it is unavoidable to go bankrupt and that is exactly the consequence of trading, there is no substitute for the knowledge that we can learn from our own mistakes. There we become wiser and more strategic.
