221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 10, 2019, 03:29:38 AM
My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet. Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.

You should always do some google/bing/yahoo searchers before investing in anything!
Its alot of scammers out there and in the crypto sphere its even more!
And why go to a unknown random site instead of using all the legit once out there its not that hard to find legit once they are everywhere.
Always protect your capital , always!
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: the bull run is confirmed. on: May 10, 2019, 03:14:21 AM
Hey guys, what are you thinking about this bullrun. whether this increase in bitcoin sacrifices altcoin prices. I see the volume of bitcoin trading going up but on the contrary almost all of the altcoin volumes go down. Does this mean that Bullrun needs sacrifice this time?

is this just the beginning, until everything turns green. I think all possibilities will ultimately benefit Bitcoin. what are you thinking right now?

would not say its confirmed just yet, but i agree it sure looks good. have to see if the price keeps on increasing for the next 2 months or if this run the last couple of months is just a fomo driven run.
Seems to be alot of people thinking the bear market is over and i hope its true but im not realy sure yet.
223  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto games on: May 09, 2019, 11:47:01 AM
If you find one that's claiming to give everyone free and easy money, that's probably a scam because in the end the house always wins. Also i think that this post should be moved to gambling section.

yes most of the crypto games you find out there are more like casinos where you gamble to get more valuble items.
im talking more about a game that is ad driven or what ever way they found to make some money instead of acting like a casino dressed up in a game skin.
A game you can earn money from playing, im not talking about a fortune just some grind happy game would be nice.
224  Other / Off-topic / Crypto games on: May 09, 2019, 07:52:43 AM
Hi i wonder if it exist any new crypto games that can make you a passive income and having some fun at the same time.
Looked into alot of them but they all seem to be games where you have to invest alot of money and are costly to even play.

What im asking for is a game that might have some start investment but dont cost a fortune to run, best of all would be if they would be free.

Bring in the recommendations  Cheesy

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current bounty campaigns that can make you rich? on: May 09, 2019, 06:56:28 AM
Can I get great contributions on how I can participate in a campaign that will add more value to my wallet?

Its hard to know its just a gamble i have done like 40 bounty campaigns in my "btc" career and made like around 25 dollars, most bountys i did ended up being worhless and some was worth some money but never did never rise in price.
so its hard to know what bountys are worth it or not i would say not a single one of them is worth the time.
Just get a freelancer job as a writer and u will make more in one day than you will make chasing bountys, and just buy the crypto instead.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi can a Beginner make Profit? on: May 09, 2019, 06:37:59 AM
It's not possible to earn money with Bitcoin without any knowledge or skills except from maby airdrops and bounties. Unless you would like to join Ponzi and pump and dump schemes which is very risky.

He can always join a signature campaign once his rank gets higher. Alot of people made some nice btc from that back in the days , guess some still do.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 09, 2019, 06:36:28 AM
all these scams are really hurtings peoples trust in crypto way to many scammers running wild with their scam ico.
Dont realy know how we can weed them out, some are pretty obvious, some harder to detect .
might even be legit cryptos at the start but when they see how much money they have they just bolt.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Joseph Stiglitz: ‘We should shut down the cryptocurrencies’ on: May 09, 2019, 06:34:20 AM
Joseph Stiglitz, a Nobel-Prize winning economist, says cryptocurrencies should be shut down. He worries that they enable illicit activity by making money transactions less transparent.

Still, he sees the value in digital payments systems and supports electronic use of government-backed currencies like the dollar.

“I’ve been a great advocate of moving to an electronic payments mechanism. There are a lot of efficiencies. I think we can actually have a better regulated economy if we had all the data in real time, knowing what people are spending,” he says.

231  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which one is more better: Doing bounties on Bitcointalk or Managers website on: May 09, 2019, 04:59:17 AM
Most of the bounty managers have their website in which they upload the bounties in which they manage and make it easy for the hunters to find the bounties they manage and easy accessible for hunters. But these managers don't do upload spreadsheet for hunters to see their stakes.
The bounty managers on Bitcointalk always have their spreadsheet shown to hunters and make them awear of the qualified people and the rejected hunters  , but to find the bounty of some favourite bounty managers is not that easy.

Done alot of bounties and never got anything. oh wait one time i got some coins in some crytpo that ended up being worth nothing.
Feels like bounties is a waste of time since most of all the crypto that starts up now are going to have a real hard time boing worth anything with so much competition in the market.
i would advice you to spend your time on something else, its like buying a lottery ticket. But hey who knows you might get lucky.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 09, 2019, 04:56:21 AM
I am wishing to place more wagers on the remaining 2 episodes but cant find any sportsbooks offering odds.
If anyone knows that there are still sportsbooks with odds please post them here.
Thank you!

having a hard time finding a sportbook to , guess to leak and spoiler chances are to big for any betting company to offer odds with so little episodes left.
I still think it will be some twist in the end guess someone like tyrion or varys will end up getting the throne becuse dany and snow got killed.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: May 09, 2019, 04:53:43 AM
I'm sure that cockfighting takes place in more countries than we are aware of, but most of the time it is hidden from the general public's view.

Thats the sad part, kind of hard to stop and thats a shame, animal cruelty at its finest.
cant people bet and watch this for some kind of entertainment its just sickening.

235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: May 09, 2019, 04:45:55 AM
Are we there yet? is this really the bull we have been waiting for? Seeing how the market respond in the recent binance hacking, This negative news hardly impact the price on Bitcoin today!,

If we can break the $6000 Barrier today this could signal another buy pressure for all those sideliners waiting for a bull run before riding the money train.
I don't think this is the bull we are waiting for because the bull market is about the whole market having a price increase but the current situation is not meaningful that I am saying, what is rising and falling is just bitcoin, altcoin is still only one color, bloody. Especially a very negative news came out as you said, binance was attacked by hackers, a large number of bitcoin has disappeared, with such a bad news, the bull market still may not appear, we still need to wait

Yes indeed. Binance's hack can be a reason of stoppage of bitcoin's growth.
At the same time you mentioned exactly the same what I am thinking - altcoins are not growing and we simply may hope for bull market's coming back, but we still cannot say that it already back.

Nope, this negative news didn't affect the marke whatsoever.

We just had a break-out run, $6k has been breached, it Binance has an effect then we might see the price plummets to $5300-$5400 at least.

But it seems that Binance did a good job to stop the panic because of their safu in place. Let's hope that there will be no negative news because the market is really doing good right now.

if binance pays back all the money that was lost as they say they will, then its not a big deal that it got hacked since the only one that lost money is binance. Guess thats why it dont have such a negative effect but we have to wait and see and alot of people think bitfinex is going for a exit scam.
Other than those bad news putting us back abit it looks realy good for btc in the comming months.

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: only the price of Bitcoin is increasing? on: May 09, 2019, 04:11:45 AM
as we see, the price of Bitcoin starts to grow and soon the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 6000 or even more than that, but what is happening now is the price of other cryptocurrency does not increase when the price of Bitcoin increases, because usually the price of other cryptocurrency will increase also when the price of Bitcoin increases, so what do you think is happening now? does the price of Bitcoin not affect for the price of other cryptocurrency again?

I think the main reason is that, people are pulling their assets from Altcoins and dumping it to Bitcoin as it is increasing. When Bitcoin starts to drop, we might see people who will pull out from bitcoin and dump their assets to alts.

Yes saw something very similar to this in 2017 , xrp rocketed and alot of other alts in december right before btc got to its peak and started to drop when ppl where moving btc to alts instead.
