221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple NBA Playoffs Betting on: May 26, 2016, 02:44:16 PM
Golden State Warriors are going to face Oklahoma City.In spite of continuous bad performance Golden State Warriors can win this match.I took Golden State Warriors -8.5 @2.159.I have feeling Golden State Warriors can not give up this way.It will fight and try its best this time.
The Warriors have to give there all in the next game because if not they are going to be blown out by the Thunder again. I am not sure how they will do it because they look helpless against the Thunder.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: May 26, 2016, 02:39:48 PM
If the price rise is not going to happen before the halving then the price at the end of the halving is going to be very low. This is a good thing for people that want to buy coins for a low price again.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: +$20 in the last 24hrs... on: May 26, 2016, 02:33:58 PM
Bitcoin is rising slowly and that is perfect for the future because you also can see that there will be more people that is going to use Bitcoin and that is perfect for the currency.
There are still a lot of people that is hoping that the value will be more worth and that they all can sell it with profit.
That is a normal thing that happens sometimes, the price suddenly goes up +20 and then after that the price suddenly goes down -20. I do not know what that means but only that it happens sometimes.
Yeah this can happen a couple of times but it is nothing bad, the price is still moving up slowly but for me it can rise a bit faster because I am waiting for the price to hit $500.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: What plans do you have for your BTC stash? on: May 26, 2016, 02:29:29 PM
I have no big plans I am just holding until a price comes that I like and then I am going to sell them all and stop with Bitcion. I do not want to rely on Bitcoin anymroe to gain money.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: May 26, 2016, 02:25:21 PM
The first time i heard about Bitcion was from my uncle he taught me everything about Bitcoin that i know today. This one time I was staying over at his house and he was busy on his pc so I was also looking and that is where it started.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not use USB sticks for long term storage! Its not safe! on: May 26, 2016, 02:20:00 PM

Just a reminder

Its not safe to use USB sticks or SSDs for long term storage they lose data over time if they are not powered!

You can't just stick your private keys on a few USB sticks or SSD and box them up for 4 - 8 years you will lose all your coins.

For long term storage have at least 3 backups paper wallets or HDDs. You can even use something like DropBox But be sure to encrypt your wallet and change the name.

You can even hide your wallet inside a image file.
Can this really happen? because i have never experienced something like this in my whole life. I never had trouble with any of my usb sticks that I use so maybe it depends on which usb.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 26, 2016, 02:14:56 PM
I wouldn't,  only because I don't know how durable they are in the long term.   And we're already in the long term as far as they're concerned.   No one would probably think to steal a floppy, though.
I also would not store any of my bitcoins on a old floppy disk, those things are not to trust again. They do not have much storage space on them and your files can somehow disappear on them.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 26, 2016, 08:36:18 AM
gambling is so addicting because it is a easy way for people to try and make some fast money. Playing games and being able to win money sounds like music to some peoples ears and they just keep going.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is GAMBLING? on: May 26, 2016, 08:32:07 AM
gambling could be a game, investment and business. but gambling has a very big risk. so it is better to avoid gambling.

Yea gambling is different for many people.
For me it's just a way to kill time, so i got more things where I can kill time. But for some it is an investment method which is quiet dangerous if you ask me.

For me gambling is to sometimes have a fun time when I am with some friends. I do not gamble because I need the money you should never rely on gambling if you need money.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 years from now how much 1 BTC worth ? on: May 26, 2016, 08:26:54 AM
In 3 years from now how much 1 BTC worth ?
That is so hard to predict and I know that I am going to be wrong because so much can happen within these 3 years. I think that then price is going to be somewhere from 900 Dollar to 1200 Dollar.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: May 26, 2016, 08:18:29 AM
pretty good buying only the necessary and when needed, and the first rule is to not igive the management of your money to your wife/girlfriend/etc..., they are a disaster in this
When you are managing money you need to do this yourself so that you can keep check of everything yourself. I am not that good at managing money and sometimes spend way more money then I should.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: May 26, 2016, 08:14:29 AM
It is possible that the number of available Bitcoins are decreasing because so many peope are just holding on to there coins for the future. This means that there are less coins that people can actually spend.
233  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 26, 2016, 08:10:21 AM
If I have that much than I will sell it of course later in the future after the price rise and that can be nice if you have the patience for it and that have to change.
But it can takes a long time until the value will be more worth so you need to patience for it too wait.
I think that I would sell then right away because there are for free so that means free money. I do not care about if they can be more in the future for that I already have coins.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your money aim? At which point you would go in "retire"? on: May 26, 2016, 08:05:52 AM
How many bitcoins you would must have that you can go to retire?

What would be your point, that you would say i go and quite my real life job and i dont trade anymore?
I am going to retire when I see that I can life a good and comfortable live. But that is not something for me to worry about now because I still have a long way to go in live
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: May 25, 2016, 02:46:52 PM
That is so bad to hear because that is a lot of money that is all wasted and that is bad that you are greedy so that have to change and you need to play with small amounts.
So you are not losing that much money when you are losing and saving money will be also nice.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: May 25, 2016, 02:42:15 PM
The bitcoin price could rise after some more consolidation. The price could rise to around $500 in June.

Chances are very high that all the real action will start in Juli, and till that time the market will remain relatively calm.

I also think that the price increasing will start in July but its still the question if this will really happen, I hope it will but right now we cannot predict this.
Yes i think the price will start up in june/july because like you said in above market looks like calm in couple month never see price can break the big wall at $490.
Of course there will be a time that the Bitcoin will rise but nobody will know when the time will be to sell it and that is the problem of the Bitcoin.
But they have to know that it can takes a longer time until the value will be more worth so they need the patience for it.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: May 25, 2016, 02:39:07 PM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?
its depedn on how much can you get from mining that coins, daily or weekly,if you can earn many coins, its time to sell that coins, not too good if you hold that coins, but if you just earn little on daily earning, its bad for sell directly after mining.
The best thing that you can do is just holding it now and you also can see now that there are a lot of people that is holding it because they know that it will be more worth in the future.
So that is really nice for the Bitcoin itself but you never know of course what will happen with the value.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: May 25, 2016, 02:35:33 PM
The most people with a smart mind are holding their Bitcoin and that is because they know that the value is going to be more worth soon and that would be nice if that is possible.
But it is still hard to know what will happen with the Bitcoin and that is the problem of the Bitcoin but it is just a prediction.
239  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: May 25, 2016, 02:32:45 PM
It is only useful to borrow a Bitcoin when you are for sure that the price is rising slowly so you can earn some more profit later in the future and that would be really nice for you.
But that can be risky for you if you are losing a lot of money with it if the price is reducing but that is the risk that you should take.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: May 25, 2016, 02:28:34 PM
I enjoy gambling as a source of entertainment.  I love to go to Las Vegas and gamble at the casinos.  And it is true that most people do lose in the long run but you just have to bet only what you want to use for entertainment purposes and nothing more.
I think more people think that their goal is to get profit in gamble its often I see. actually likely to remain the same to win or lose. when you aim to get profit and entertainment remedy but the difference feedback when defeat would be different between the two objectives that
The chance to lose in gambling is really high and that is because gambling is just made fun and not to earn some money with it because the chance to lose is really high.
But you have to be really lucky to win some money with it and that happens not that often to you so you are losing always a lot of money with it.
