Manual and Auto payout are both broken.

Wish I'd noticed before the price spike today.   Cry

here to both broken.
some action please.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been working on some code all day and the Auto Payout issues are now fixed.

Also, now you get paid instantly once you hit your threshold. You no longer need to wait 6 hours to get a payment. The only issue that can happen with payouts now is the pool's hot wallet running low on funds which I top up on a regular basis. If anyone notices payout not coming after hitting the threshold, please send an email to support@btcoxygen.com so I can top up the hot wallet.

In recent days people were are asking me if the pool is ready for ASIC miners. As you can see from following picture published by jgarzik few hours ago, Avalon ASIC miner is succesfully mining on my pool already:

Thats pretty nice Wink

Nvidia = Bad for mining
AMD = Good for mining

This is why his older card is performing better than your brand new card.

Is it normal to constantly miss longpolls like this? Undecided

Code:
[2013-01-26 11:53:57] Accepted 456ec086 Diff 3/1 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:14] Accepted 5a10c1e9 Diff 2/1 GPU 1 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:17] Accepted 94aeaee2 Diff 1/1 GPU 1 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:23] Rejected a124c879 Diff 1/1 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:25] Rejected 384aeef8 Diff 4/1 GPU 1 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:26] Rejected 22562d42 Diff 7/1 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:30] Rejected 84573d8f Diff 1/1 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-01-26 11:54:33] New block detected on network before longpoll

No its not normal to miss longpolls like this.

It seems the pool is not notifying new blocks which is increasing the amount of shares that gets rejected.

227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 6GH/s, which pool should I join for best payout? on: January 24, 2013, 11:13:18 PM

I will definitely try your pool but I have a couple of questions before I start.

1) Roughly, how many BTC will I earn per day with 6GH/s? (this should go up to ~10GH/s over the next month btw)

At your current hashrate you will earn around 1.05 BTC per day sometimes you could get more.

With 10GH/s you will be earning around 1.75 BTC per day sometimes you could get more.

2) Can I use the Stratum Proxy with your pool?

Thanks.

Yes, Our pool supports Stratum so you can use Stratum Proxy to mine at our pool.

btw, the lastest version of poclbm comes with integrated stratum support so you might not really need the proxy.

I reccommend BTCGuild, for me its the smoothest running pool around.

But BTCGuild has Fee of 5%.

BTCOxygen Mining pool also has Stratum support and a fee of only 2% which in the long term is better than a 0% fee getwork pool.

Do Not Join 50btc, they have MASSIVE connection traffic from the botnets aimed at them and about 2% of your gpu work could get REJECTED because of thier server lagging behind

Also when 2% of your shares get rejected their overall Fee becomes ~5%.

Al BTCOxygen Mining pool you rarely get even 1 share rejected thanks to the stratum protocol for all these benefits.

Give MaxBTC a try - their interface is a little slow to load sometimes, but it looks AWESOME and is easy to use.

Also, their double-geometric-blah-blah payment system seems to discourage pool-hoppers and pays out fairly evenly after a few days of mining.

2cents.

BTCOxygen's interface is also very friendly and easy to use and loads fastly.

Also, our PPS payment system pays all miners fairly and it does not depend on luck.

Currently P2Pool may not a very good option because it uses lots of bandwidth and is not so easy to setup for newbies.

Also, you could try out my pool.

Interesting what you've done with the website, but there is way less functionality now. I hope it's a work in progress...

Could you please let me know the missing functionality.

See here how it's rendered with Chrome on Mac OS(what I use all the time): http://imgur.com/BJOEnTA

I think your browser is using some files from the cache.

Try clearing the cache and you should see the new website.

And here is Safari on Mac OS: http://imgur.com/bU5iLdS

This is the website i expect you to see on all your browsers

Chrome on windows looks identical to the Mac OS screenshot I posted.

Try clearing the cache here too and see if it fixes the problem.

The problem with one getwork server has been fixed.  I'm HIGHLY recommending people quit using ancient miners and update to a Stratum enabled miner, or run the Stratum Proxy if that is not an option.

I'm connected but still have miner going on and off. I'd love to switch to Stratum but I have all my rig running BAMT. I have not had time to look into what needs to be done to switch. Can it even be used with BAMT?

Yes stratum can be used with BAMT.

If you need help setting it up please PM me and i will help you.
