221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: May 12, 2016, 07:35:49 PM

I don't think someone really successfull will boast with his success here. You always should keep in mind that for every win in trading someone else made a loss. So it is never possible that every trader wins. Of course there are normal buyers too that do not really care about losing.

That is where I do not really agree with you, no one has to lose for you to make profit in btc trading. You simply buy btc at a lower price and sell when the market price rises. No one is competing with you.

You need to give your life to Jesus Christ, only He can save you.

After that, soak yourself in the blood of Jesus before going to sleep at night. Pray for his protection always. It might take a while but as you are faithful to God day by day, you will see changes in your sleep patterns.

Bitcoin Price Watch; the Weekend Ahead…

In this morning’s bitcoin price watch article, we noted that the range we were focusing on in the bitcoin price was probably a little too tight to bring an intrarange strategy into the equation, but for an aggressive trader, it would probably be possible to draw a profit under some strict risk management parameters. We also discussed some breakout entries, and outlined a few key levels that we would look to take a position at if, and when, the bitcoin price closed above or below them respectively...

I do not think now is a good time to sell. I am predicting a fall in bitcoins prices this weekend because the Nakamoto saga is over... might be a good time to buy for an aggressive trader.

How about joining a mining pool instead of solo mining. You stand a better chance since you are inexperienced.

I think it's best to exchange with fiat and keep in the bank, since it's equivalent to money anyway.

It's a good sign but I think it will take at least six years (if not more) for bitcoins to become mainstream... just my thoughts.

No. You have to separately sync each wallet.

What will most likely happen is that the guy will collect your $3K and send you a promisory note... with no device attached.
232  Other / Off-topic / Re: death on: May 01, 2016, 08:02:57 PM
If you believe the universe was created by God, then you should know that there are angels monitoring God's creation - like caregivers you might call them. Satan has his own 'caregivers' as well - angels once in God's service who deflected to Satan's, thinking they will get a better bargain with him.

Now it will not be a wise thing to assume that man is just meat. This is so untrue, do you think the universe just came to be without a creator?

There is another dimension called the spirit dimension that cannot be seen from our own dimension. Scientists call it the dark matter, Google it.
A substantial part of space is made up of something that makes an impact, yet cannot be assessed. And it explains how the constellations remain in orbit, and why the universe is expanding very fast. Astronomers have repeatedly calculated that gravity alone is not strong enough to keep the huge stars in orbit, something else is responsible for this, and they named it dark matter. It can't be felt nor seen, yet it's mainly responsible for keeping the huge stars in orbit.

When we die, we enter into the spirit dimension, physically we can't be assessed, yet we exist. Do not be deceived by a demon that we cease to exist after death. Man is more than meat and bones.

Where we remain after death depends on which Spirit we spent our lives believing. Did we believe in Jesus or did we ignore him, this is what determines our final abode. You might scientifically say that man is made up of meat, bones and dark matter.

This dark matter never dies, the same way the constellations can never collapse.

I think now is a good time to buy LTC, it will rise in value when the btc block chain is halved by the middle of the year. You'll see.
234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can you come up with a better Ten Commandments? on: April 30, 2016, 12:43:35 PM
I decided the morality of the ten commandments could be boiled down into, "Do not harm or deceive anyone"...
But, since everyone enjoys lists of 10, I decided to go a bit further and fill it out with some substance:

1. Do not harm or deceive anyone
2. Help those less fortunate
3. Identify and improve your own flaws and weaknesses
4. Be observant and considerate
5. Do not be greedy; never take more than you need
6. Think critically before making important decisions
7. Give people the benefit of the doubt; walk a mile in the other person's shoes
8. Lead by example
9. Be kinder to others than they are to you
10. Make the world a better place for our children

It may not be perfect, but I would argue that it is a better list than the bible

What do you think?

I do not think it's better than the bible, it just elaborates what is already written down in the bible!

I thought it was just the Bangladeshi's incompetence.  Grin
But how did the malware get into the bank computers?

An in-house cooperation could be involved in the hacking. One of the personnels could have been tricked into being an accomplice.
236  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Who owns Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2016, 08:28:26 PM
Should a court issue arise over btc, the person who defaulted will be charged to court, not Satoshi or any btc owner. They did not break the law by creating btc.
237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The top 3 best rated bitcoin exchanges - Spring 2016 Report on: April 24, 2016, 07:57:27 PM
I wonder how the lists were compiled. Seriously, I do not think a new unknown company can just bust into the scene and start making waves like that, reputation takes time to build.
238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Uphold and BTC - Some questions from a newbie on: April 23, 2016, 04:18:03 AM
There is really no website that allows to exchange bitcoins to another currency without billing you. The fees differs but you still have to pay something for the service rendered.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kicking Myself I Didn't Invest More In Ethereum on: April 22, 2016, 01:29:50 PM
Why don't you start buying more etherum now before it shoots up even more. That's better than sitting down and kicking yourself, don't you think? Undecided
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at 3rd place on coinmarketcap.com on: April 22, 2016, 11:29:05 AM
Good news, if it holds!.  Its got a looooong way to go to kick BTC off that throne though.

There is no way Etherum is going kick bitcoins off its throne.
