Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
90% fun, 10% profit. From the point the % of fun goes under 40%, I think that gambling becomes a sickness or obsession. Yes i can say it 50-50.Means 50% for profit and 50% for fun as well and i do not agree with you that gambling is a sickness or obsession,because i do mostly sports betting gambling and there is both profit and fun and thats not a sickness if we bet with some good strategy there profit along with fun can be achieved. |

I don't believe in the "turn into a Profitable Activity" part. Maybe in poker or sports betting, but definitely not in pure casino games. Unless you do it with bonus money, then it might work, otherwise you will win in the short run, but lose in the long term, so that is not a profitable activity. I do believe in most of the things in that article, like bankroll management and a good mind set. That is key to prevent you from going bankrupt fast, and maybe stay in the game long enough for a short term win. But again in the long term, there is nothing you can do. I also will do agree with you it's impossible to turn into profitable activity to play pure casino games, poker, sports betting and other strategy based game can be helpful to use our knowledge to make profitable our gambling activities but every kind of gambling can be risky. Yes i agree that its impossible to turn gambling like casino games or poker or dice games into profitable activity . if you really want to stop gambling, you need to strengthen your heart and say no to gambling. if you are serious, then go do something positive until you forget how to gamble again, I hope it works  Very good tips, everyone who want to stop gambling should say "i will stop " every time you remembering gamble. I guess a lot of people who do it, but in the end they returned again to gamble, whether it's for fun or to earn extra income. but it was a great suggestion. if you want to stop gambling, then you have to work, and give all your time to your family, I think it is a thing to do, and it is a good thing. Yes rightly said if any one is planning to earn a living just by gambling then sure gambling only gonna wreck his/her life. still do both of them is good option, for me with bitcoin i can save more money than focus only at real job, i can get double salary some from real job and some from bitcoin. so i think if we can manage our time , do both of them is best option.

If you want to earn it really fast then I think gambling is the only way to get there but its the fastest way to loose it too, so its better to find the safest way to earn it.

I always lose all money with gambling, because for me, go big or go home and i always go home, sad. I lose much money on gambling and i never count it.

Gambling is really dangerous if you do not know how to control yourself. My share of experience with this is that I'm having successive wins for a few days and then I thought that if I earn that much with a small amount then I will deposit a bigger amount and then it happened. I had successive losses and then I lose it all including the profit that I accumulated. It happened because I'm greedy and I was not able to control myself. I can't say that it wrecked my life totally because I was able to catch myself before I fall into the trap and lose everything dear to me.
Greediness wont make any good thing into you but only disaster, its really hard to control your self to those times your experiencing this kind of feeling, you cant even think when you should stop. Having a good self control and realization would be a big help to stop yourself if you already experiencing greediness. It also depend of a person on how they will handle their greediness, cause sometimes being greediness makes bad but I think it is sometimes good as well. Because if we really want to get what we wanted in life we will do everything or we will find a way to get it, and sometimes persons that want to get what they wanted will work hard just to get it in a good way. So I think greediness becomes bad depend of a person. Yes right there are two most dangerous thing in gambling. First is too much greediness and wish to earn more and more without thinking anything and just doing gambling. And other is to chase your loss who ever is trying to chase his/her loss always ends up in more and more loss and these two thing takes you towards destruction. |

Why a sickness? Then let's consider video games addiction, smoking addiction, alcohool adiction and every single one a Sickness. Isn't it the same thing? I am in very good profit because of having very good streak with betting, even some bets I lost but recently I made very good profit in some friendly match as it was much easy to predict about them.
Well, I think it is better to play with friends than outside gambling places. Because I think when we play with our friends we all know their weaknesses, and we can easily handle our emotions with them cause at the same time we can laugh at them while playing and also bond with them at the same time.
