I Live in low crime suburban area in New Jersey.
A nice home with a 1/3 of an acre is 450k
Tax is about 10k.
My style of home in USA could be as low as 200k tax under 2k
It could be as high as 800k tax of 20k.
So for me and my wife I need 2million to replace our pension and our insurance.
That frees us from the federal government pension and insurance . Just in case the USA falters.
I have a lot of relatives in multiple countries I could flee to.
Say Australia, Italy , Argentina.
So BTC gives me a chance to leave the USA if I have to.
I would give you some merit but I am out have some WOmerit +5 instead. I think you bring up a good reason that if Bitcoin did get 250k or any amount that you need to get financially free the USA is probably not the best place to live if you are thinking about living as cheap as you can. There are many other countries where the cost of living is less and the lifestyle or quality of lifestyle might be the same. I was disappointed to hear that the Chinese run media is already making reference to the United States not being able to protect Taiwan and basically saying America is a lot of talk but able to stand up and protect those who choose to form alliances with us. It’s sad to think one weak leader can make an entire country seem like such cowards on the world stage.

There are no other necessities that I can think of even the car is not necessary. The only things you need are a place to put your head and food on the table. If you have that then everything else is luxuries. OK I know that a lot people including me will want more from life than that but I think everyone holding 1 Bitcoin @ 250k could be financially free if they already own the above. If not then it would probably take 2-5 Bitcoin for them to be financially free depending on where they live. What do you think?

If BTC hits 250k$, I will achieve financial freedom. I think everyone in the thread would achieve financial freedom if it hit that high. I have had my hopes reinvigorated recently because of the rise of Bitcoin price it really was a bad time for me when it hit the lows we were seeing. I held onto my Bitcoin just in case it recovered but I will be honest I was not expecting it to but I was in a bad place. I am glad that I was proven wrong it recovered and hoping now it will rally to new heights. If I was to ask everyone here the realistic chance of it reaching 250k do you think it will happen and when? Financial freedom is hard to define. Some people would only require 250k to retire others would need to have 1 million-5 million to retire. It depends on your age your commitments and your living style. If you are age 20 and do not have a house then you would need at least 150-250k for a reasonable house. If you have children then you can factor in that you will probably spend tens of 1000s on them. If you have medical issues that you could not predict then that could range from a couple of 1000 to 100k+ depending on if you have insurance and if the insurance will cover your medical problem. I think a good estimate is 2 million for those that are frugal, 3 million for those that are moderate livers and 5 million to retire almost everyone. For my prediction I would say 100k in 5 years is reasonable and 250k+ in 10 years would be stretching it but possible. If you have a family then you would probably need a 2-3 bedroom house which the price goes up by a lot. That was the bottom of my price range which was a estimate but it will be closer to the 200-250 estimation. Houses are cheaper outside cities the average house price is inflated because of that. In rural areas the price will be cheaper because there is a lack of work and other luxuries but if you are rich or financially free then you do not care about the work. |

That's really a subjective question given the number of farmed accounts that are created, cultivated put on ice or revived either for sale, or, to boost the UID's post count. You'd be better off looking at the number of daily/weekly/etc posts over at https://ninjastic.space/ that complements the work being done by the BPIP team. It would be cool to compare the two BPIP and ninjastic.space at least that would give a better look on who is active and not. I am guessing both will be inflated because of account farmers. |

The recent upgrade obviously showed a good outcome as the price of Ethereum gets back to $3k once again. As the hard fork takes place, it can be seen that there has been a significant change on ETHs price. Even though it does not make so much difference for those who have been investing on Ethereum for a long time, the impact of the burning exhibited a positive effect towards the coin. Ethereum is one of the altcoins that has the potential of surviving in the future as a successful crypto so we should pay attention on it right now while the price is still not that high.
To soon to judge the price because the price will increase because of the new hype from a update. In a couple of months we will be in a better place to look if it was positive or not for the price. |

What you are focusing on exactly? I think comparing Bitcoin and Ethereum, isn't only based on the price. Why don't compare its popularity, market caps, and real uses of those coins in daily life. I think comparing those things is better than comparing the price. Because when you compare them based on the prices, it is very clear there is a too big gap. There is no need to compare something that is already clear enough.
The answer is still the same Bitcoin out performs Ethereum every where you look and as the title of this topic says Ethereum is not a rival to Bitcoin. |

Being the mother of cypto currency, its value remained awesome from the beginning though it had many obstacles in the Beginning stage. Recent its ATH has drawn in so many investors into it. This says how people are open and confident enough to try crypto currencies. And as all other cyrpto currencies follow Bitcoin's growth, Everyone is investing in bitcoin. The demand and supply of bitcoin raises its trust and its value in the market. Word of mouth played a great role in it as well.
It is not the mother of cryptocurrency there were digital currencies before Bitcoin existed this rose tinted glasses. Bitcoin is good but it is not good because it is the first cryptocurrency it is good because of the technical side of it. |

Dortmund started the season much better than Bayern Munich. They demolished Frankfurt 5-2 and improved their morale at a very high rate. Haaland was the player of the match that's for sure. He had 2 goals and 3 assists which was a really insane performance from the young lad.
Dortmund are keeping Haaland for this season too but I don't think that they will be able prevent him from leaving next summer.
Dortmund have always sold their best players but they always get the best performance from their players while they are there and get the maximum amount of money when they sell them. |
