221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is producing bitcoin now, please? on: February 25, 2019, 01:44:22 PM
If I want to buy Hash power where do I have to go (what website)?
don't do it. cloud mining is not worth your time. your investment will return (if it ever will) after years or months, and after that the profit is quite minimal. build your own rig and mine on your own, or join a mining pool.
Mining for me is not really profitable, especially we need the use of electricity, the electricity in our country is expensive and it is not worth it if I mine here in our Country. I still choose to trade and invest.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: February 25, 2019, 09:19:09 AM
After a year, a lot of lessons that we did learn. There are 2 precious things that I think I should remember:

+ Fear
+ Greed

I learned that from my teacher, he said when you buy Bitcoin at 10k, it's then $12k your greed rises inside you and you don't want to take profit and expect more. Then, the downtrend is coming, BTC goes down to $8k, you'll be scared to cut loss, and what'll happen, you lose more while BTC drops to $4k.

So, we need to set up your expected profit point as well as the stoploss point.

How about you, what is your lesson?
Being greedy really make us lose our profit. For me, $2k is enough profit because as of the moment, we all know that the market is not good for a long term investment because of its slowly moving, so a little profit is already good right now, but for beginners who doesn't know the flow of the market today, it is better to read and learn from this forum 1st before investing on a coin, reading a lot can help us make a good profit.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 25, 2019, 08:37:10 AM
I've never bought any coins before and am considering opening an account while the coins are low

How would you invest $1000 - 2000

Thanks
I will still suggest bitcoin for beginners, they can still buy a small amount for their 1st investment, an amount that they can afford to lose just to try first if they think bitcoin investing is actually good for them and better to read a lot here in forum under Bitcoin discussion or Altcoin Discussion to know more about coins that it is affordable but worth your investment.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 25, 2019, 07:48:22 AM
For the past months I’m too depressed about my losses since I came in this market unprepared. I try not to be active but the market looks inviting me again to be more responsible for what I’ve done and to do better this time.

Bitcoin started to pump slowly, though its not enough to get back my losses but I think there’s a reason why I should stay. I know I’m not the only one here who lose money but still trying to do their best to have some profit. Thank you to this forum, i was able to rise again and this time I will believe more on the future of bitcoin! Continue to hold!

Edit: I lose almost $2000 before both in trading and in gambling, I know its quiet small for you but that’s a lot of money for me. Thanks to those who help me to survive on this one.
It is also already a big amount for me and it is really quite inviting because of bitcoin value is slowly rising and I believe it will rise more in the near future and hopefully this year would be a great year again for bitcoin and for all of us who still holds their coins patiently.

- Paano nga ba nagwo work ang cryptocurrency?

For a beginner like you, I think that is already enough knowledge you have, is just that, you just need to improve that knowledge and here in bitcointalk forum, you can already learn a lot because of people here who shares also their knowledge and experience about cryptocurrencies especially in the section of Bitcoin Discussion and Meta, from there, you can already learn more, just read a lot and you for sure in the future you will be also one of the experts here already.  Cheesy
226  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Doctors lie? on: February 24, 2019, 01:39:34 PM
Recently i went to the hospital to check see the doctor and i was told the doctor to attend to me will be back soon, while waiting, he came in and from the look of things he had gone to smoke, it got me thinking, can it be that they are telling us not to do this and that and if you follow them you wont eat anything because everything is bad to health, no drinking of alcohol, smoking of any kind and the list is endless, why would a doctor now turned around and go smoking?
A doctors also have their addiction, even they know that the cigarette are not good to their lungs, they still smoke because they are addicted, maybe because they are already addictedd before they've got their license from being a doctor but for sure they have their maintenance for that lifestyle of them. Yes, they can still lie to us, they are also a human like us right? People are not perfect.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next holder are very fast to panic. on: February 23, 2019, 05:26:48 AM
Hello, I saw a lot of holders today a new generations of holders. Like, Bought 6k$ to 7k$ amount or price of bitcoin. And they panic because they afraid to lose them more money on the crpyto so of course they will sell it immediately at the lower so that's why many of them always lose their money. What do you think?
Maybe those holders are not holding their coins for a long time. They just holding for a while and making panic selling so that's why they are not coming back because they think they are just losing money with this kind of world. So maybe it is also one of the reasons why the price is slowly decreasing because users are also decreasing at the same time.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: February 22, 2019, 07:59:45 AM
From the bearish market it seema that there are individuals who were benefited with cryptocurrency and taken it as an early christmas gift for them. Probably those who control the market are mostly likely to be the direct benefactors of bear market. What do you think and who do you think control the market of cryprocurrency?
I don't think it is profited in cryptocurrency right now because most investors did right now is to buy and to hold, so I think it is not that profited at the moment. Unless you are just earning it because you are working on it than buying most of your coins.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you choose? on: February 19, 2019, 11:23:42 PM
Many of us use bitcoin only in exchange/trading site, while bitcoin should be more used in marketplace/online shop. Which one do you choose? Do you prefer to use bitcoin on a trading site or marketplace/online shop? And why do you chose that?

I want it to use on online shop and build an arbitrage selling from international to local or vice versa. I think we should do our part to influence others to use crypto or expose them to how it's more convenient with btc and be familiar with the new technology.
Why don't we use them both? We can use bitcoin in trading and at the same time at the marketplace online shop if we want to and if we choose to because not all of us wants to go shopping online because they think it is not worth it because sometimes they receiving defect or damage item so it is better to buy in physical stores which is really depend on us buyer if we want to buy online or not. Influencing others to use bitcoin or crypto and makes crypto more popular I think more stores will accept bitcoin as payment in the future.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of coin be up soon? on: February 19, 2019, 11:17:49 PM
today I see eth and bitcoin prices starting to rise little by little, is this the beginning of bitcoin and eth prices going up? is it the right time to sell or hold back? please advise from all of you
If you get profited at least 30%-40%, then maybe it is a good time to sell already. How many percentages do you think you already get profited? For me it is already good once you already gain profit from it before it will gets too late again to sell.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: February 19, 2019, 11:11:20 PM
Yep  agree on you, this time is the best time to buy different coins since there is lot of cheap coin that have a good future for sure. Also holding this kind of cheap coin you buy will get you a great profit if the worth coins are pumping. Good advice dude !
We already know, that once the coin is cheap then it is the best time to buy or invest for it to have good profit when it pumps out. Most coins now are cheap and for me, the best altcoin to buy today is etheruem, litecoin, ripple, as long as we know it has a good future and will get profit. Don't invest in a coin that has no assurance.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: February 19, 2019, 11:59:03 AM
Because nobody knows when the market will start to rise. But, as I expected, this time not from Sales just stopped and watched the market and appreciate this time with I family on the grounds that in a few months the market will start to rise. So this time there is no compelling reason to offer. I don't know myself and I can't predict the increase. But if the coin that I hold is valid and worth holding, I better hold it or I have to cut my losses.
I suggest to hold your coins at the moment and then once the market will rise a bit then maybe that is already time for you to decide whether you wanted to sell it even you get profited small amount or wait a little bit longer.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin go lower than 2k? on: February 19, 2019, 07:58:08 AM
If bitcoin will go down under $2k, then I'd still choose to hold my coins cause I will just lose more if I will make panic selling. It is better to be patient when it comes in this kind of field of that world. LOL.
I think it is possible to happen but as of now I don't see that bitcoin will go down under $2k, it is just more on stable price right now and I am good about it.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptos in the future? on: February 19, 2019, 03:12:09 AM
I was discussing with a friend the other night about bitcoins and how it is becoming popular. We also got to talking about altcoins until the topic went to the future of cryptocurrency. He said there will not be a new cryptocurrency in the future, I said there might be if more and more people gets in it. Do you think we will be introduced to a new cryptocurrency over the next decade or less? In my discussion with my friend, who do you think is more possible?
It is possible that another coin will release in the future. A lot of newcomers in cryptocurrencies are becoming interested in it and for sure the people gets involved with crypto the more chance of having a new coin in the future.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do when price falls? on: February 19, 2019, 12:19:31 AM
When the price falls, I still able to hold my bitcoin because I still want to be accumulated and save it for future purposes. Sometimes I buy some of it. If I need it, I automatically sell it even if it dips as long as I need it or emergency purposes. So it also depends on my situations.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacation and Bitcoin on: February 18, 2019, 04:37:43 PM
Been to Thailand and was amazed how some of the businesses adopted to crypto by accepting bitcoin payments. The very first thing that I look for are those places that accepts bitcoin payments. What I did is visit some good spots and was so excited to experience the fun and the idea of using bitcoin as payments in exchange for certain services or goods.

I can't forget the experience I had with The Pink Panther in Bangkok and was really amazed that I was able to pay all the bills with my bitcoins. Such an exciting vacation and adventure together with my friends.

We had also visited Wolff’s Bar and chill for a couple of minutes consuming few drinks.
What a wonderful country with good food and open minded people, embracing the idea of this new technology that we are in.
If you want to travel and chill with your friends and families, don't forget to visit Thailand. You can party all night, drink and eat all you can and just pay with your bitcoin. Less hassle and a lot are safer than bringing cash with you. Grin
The downside is that there are some remote beautiful places that have no internet connection.

I'd definitely go back to Thailand next year. Can't wait for that moment to come. Cheesy

I still don't experience to go outside the country, but my husband did go to Hong Kong last year and he isn't able to saw some restaurant that accepting bitcoin, or maybe he just isn't able to get into some store accepting it. Hopefully, when I will able to go there soon, bitcoin payments are already allowed so it will be easy and convenient for me to buy some stuffs.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: February 18, 2019, 03:29:36 PM
Gambling helps you take calculated risks in life. Gambling is fun and worthy as long as you know what you are doing.
When you said gambling, automatic that it has a risk. Once there is money involve, that is already risky because you risk your money that is no assurance if it will gets double or will be gone. So make sure you are also ready to the outcome of your games.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: February 18, 2019, 05:33:31 AM
I always take out my initial deposit after I've made a profit, and continue gambling with that. Best way to save yourself from getting rekt.
Thats the best strategy in gambling, even if you lose even you won't experience any loss, when you at winning condition you should
leave your intial deposit to another place, and use your profits to continue gambling, thats zero risk then
I agree, that's zero risks but when you already hooked in that game, for sure once you lose all your winnings, you will play again with your own money. It also depends on a person that, if you have a good control, you will never use your initial deposit again after losing all winnings.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: February 18, 2019, 04:02:28 AM
That is what we need to avoid our eagerness to win back our losses because we have no assurance to win back all of our losses. Yeah, we must have to realize that being greedy in gambling can really lead us to addiction.

Mate,... This kind of attitude is really unavoidable especially on us gamblers, we can't just sit back and make a tight push back after losing dozens of money?

Even if you're gonna stop playing on that day just because you've lost too much, you'll be returning into that phase as you want to make a comeback on what you have lost. So tell me to mate, this is only possible for humans who'll completely quit after losing.
Yeah, I am not saying that this is avoidable, being greedy is always with us even in a small gambling game, we still want to win even small amount because it is really good in feeling winning in a game especially when it has a bet. We can still play gambling without getting addicted to it. Just make plans and make limitations to ourselves.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 17, 2019, 11:50:57 PM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from situation like this.  Sad
It is a common problem of all gamblers out there. When we want to get back our loses, that's the time that we will just lose more than we lose at first which is not good and at the same time gambling controlling our mind now at that point because of that thought. So let's not wait that moment that when we play gambling, gambling will control our mind and we lose our control. Let's put some plan or limit before playing it.
