221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: May 23, 2017, 12:34:00 PM
One reason I believe is that they thought the price of bitcoins was way too much than anyone expected and if the price by chance drops to $600 odd mark again they already loose 1/3 rd of their capital and hence they played safe and withdraw all. As they mentioned in the pursue of some interests which I cannot think of anything else.

I think you might be right. I presume they have collected enough bitcoins in their wallet and with the high bitcoin price, they have played it safe to stop and withdraw everything before the price goes down. Nice strategy though.

225  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: May 22, 2017, 01:43:25 PM
Thank you all for all your kind words and Thanks for betting at DirectBet Smiley

We really love the Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Clam and Ether communities and the community here on Bitcointalk and are very happy that we had a chance to know you and serve you. I personally really enjoyed working with you and knowing you all. Thank you !

The reason for the closure is to spare time for the DirectBet team to pursue other interests even though DirectBet was a great success and very profitable.

In addition, DirectBet is not for sale.

We are here for you and available at support@directbet.eu if you need anything.

Thank you so much again !

All the Best,

Michelle

https://www.DirectBet.eu
This was so abrupt. I wish you guys could have given notice of like seven days before closure. I know you had good reasons to close down but the way you have done it is not in the good interests of your customers. I will miss you as i had started enjoying betting on your site.
226  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to contact the Support Team of Blockchain ? on: May 22, 2017, 01:30:01 PM
Today 4.35 BTC disappeared from my Blockchain wallet. i want to know how to contact the support team
Help please

Please tell the complete detail what you do on your computer before your funds become missing? In your case, It is very hard to solve your problem because of lack of information, Even the blockchain support can't answer your question with that kind of question.

It would good for him to contact support just in case there is any technical error. I know he might be a victim of hacking and therefore lost the bitcoins but it is good to find out from support first. If support confirms that there is no problem on their side, that is when we can conclude that he has lost all his bitcoin. That is so painful to lose such a big number of bitcoins.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: May 22, 2017, 01:20:54 PM
DirectBet is now closed.

May 21th, 2017

Thanks for betting at DirectBet.

We regret to inform you that we decided to close DirectBet in order to pursue other interests.

DirectBet was a great success and it was our pleasure serving you.

Effective immediately, we will not be accepting new bets.

We left the All-In Poker bet open for you to claim your VIP rewards.

All confirmed bets stand. They will be settled automatically at the completion of the event, as usual.

In addition, this website will remain online in the near future to allow you to check the status of your bets.

If you have coins in your Playing Wallet, please withdraw them now.

We are available via e-mail at support@directbet.eu if you have any questions or need assistance.

Thanks again for choosing to bet with us.

Good Luck !

DirectBet

I thought this was a hoax until i accessed the site a while ago which is displaying this same message. I read some red flags yesterday when someone on this forum complained that his payout was not given. He won on a bet but his payout was pending. When he inquired, he was informed that he did a double spend and therefore could not withdraw the payout. The same day, I placed a bet for two matches with odds totaling 52. When I transferred 0.01 btc, the bet was rejected and the bitcoins send to my btc address. From this, I now know that they might have been facing problems.
228  Other / Meta / Re: How to become full_Member? on: May 22, 2017, 11:00:03 AM
Im newbie in this forum, and i never be in forum before,  also i just want to learn more about bitcoin from you guys,
i want to become full member,
what should i do to become full_Member on this forum??

It is good to ask especially when you are new to something. But i will also advise that you take some time and read through the forum to better acquaint yourself with what goes on. I also started as a newbie and it is not long ago. I get surprised at how time flies because it was just the other day that my rank rose to Sr. Member. It takes both patience and commitment to achieve what you want. If your intention is to become Full member, then so be it. Contribute more frequently and avoid spamming just to gain posts. Be constructive enough and also be objective. You will be surprised that your rank will go up after a few months. Reaching Full member will be much faster but from there, it will take some time to go to a higher rank. You can also read the beginners and newbie section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0) for you to know more about the forum.
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2500$ / $3000 ? on: May 22, 2017, 10:46:23 AM
I don't think at this rate at which the price has risen it can go any further. I know it is possible but we have to take into consideration some other factors. For instance, the price will only rise again if there is a lot of demand. Given that the price rose very fast, i don't think the demand will be that big to warrant more higher prices for bitcoin. I foresee a drop like it did a few months ago.

232  Economy / Services / Re: Cashout my paypal on: May 21, 2017, 09:06:48 PM
have like 150 usd in my paypal and not possible to send money all the time "sorry we can not send your payment right now" i called paypal and they told me try again later, i try for over a week i have enough now cash it out for me or try to send it to me inanother way when done just close the paypal account so no chargeback is possible once closed is closed pm me skype so we can chat quick

offering 20$ for this help

I don't think this is a big issue that should bother you. If you called Paypal and they advised you to try later, then you gonna be patient. Is your account verified, if not then there are limits in transactions per day. just e patient and try sending later. Nobody is going to help you send money from your paypal account. Unless you want to be scammed.

What a goal by Dybala!
This goal alone is worth the Scudato...
Forza Juve!
Fino alla fine

Full Time Result . Juventus 3 - 0 Crotone . Mandzukic Dybala and Alex sandro score for juve
Congratulation Juve Fans ! Scudetto again again and again . Juve the best team in italy . Goodluck for UCL :v

Yes, congratulations juventus, we've secured yet another scudetto and hopefully we will add the Uefa champions league to our trophy cabinet and be the best in Europe again.

I am happy for Juventus. They proved to be a force to reckon from the beginning and they have proved it. I am also praying that they clinch the champions league this season to crown it all.

Directbet is scam

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1922969.0

they aren't paying my 0.268btc, first it was showing waiting for 1 confirmation and now they said I have pending bets
but when I asked for proofs they stopped replying me,they are lier, scammer, cheater
They hired army of monkeys to support them and give negative trust to anyone who complain about them

I have played severally with directbet and when I win, I receive my btc within a considerable time. I have neve encountered a case like yours. You need to look into your bet status to ascertain the truth.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 21, 2017, 08:12:33 PM
Right now Barcelona is losing at home and Real Madrid is winning 2-0.

What are the odds of Barcelona scoring 2 more and Malaga get 3 goals in 20min?

I think La Liga is over and Real Madrid won. And with a home embarrassment for Barcelona, for a plus

Barca somehow managed to make a comeback in the second half and won the match. Barca were in their worst form this season. Today they just escaped by a whisker. They have been losing to small teams and today was going to be their worst humiliation.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: May 21, 2017, 08:00:37 PM
Gambling is the worst disease that I have ever come across. If you gamble for fun, you stand a better chance to avoid the effects of gambling. If you gamble thinking that you will become rich, then you are in for a rude shock because you will never win. You put everything thinking that there will be good returns. he only thing you are doing is to do enrich the gambling house owner who is smiling all the way to the bank. If you can avoid gambling, then you will never fall in an endless pit like some of us did.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for investors on: May 21, 2017, 06:15:51 PM
I will believe OP if you can built more trust here first. Everything is based on reputation and if you don't come clear about your program, then gonna earn several negative trusts. I don't see why you should not give more details because it is you who have the program, we don't need to know the nitty-gritties but just a little more information will be enough.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: May 21, 2017, 06:06:44 PM
I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision.
Thanks everyone.

When I read this is like it was talking about me. I also fell into the same trap and I have not recovered to this moment. I went into huge debt with an intention to recover what i had lost only to lose everything again. gambling can really mess your life if you put all your minds in it. If someone is thinking of gambling as a way to make quick money, think twice. You can win big now, but the next minute you will lose everything, never to recover again. That was a nice idea and I am also looking forward to the day i will quit gambling for good.
