I'm not that worried... Not everyone likes/uses Apple, I don't like/use Apple. So basically only those that use Apple will and can use it. Money is supposed to be globally exchangeable and if it's limited to those that are using Apple products then it's not going to be accepted as actual currency.

agreed, that pool is showing a much slower hashrate than I should be getting. What other pools are there? I also tried theblockfactory for the last 6 hours and I've only gotten a small fraction of the estimated earnings. I also tried phoen01.phenixpool.com and it showed horrific low hashrate than what I should be getting. We need a p2pool ASAP

No one has any proof here, but we have a really really interesting coincidence. Bter and vcx both go down nearly simultaneously, then for around 6 hours PXC goes up by a factor of 3 on the one remaining exchange, then collapses back to its original price and bter comes back online after the collapse is over. It doesn't take a genius to conclude someone was attempting a market manipulation around PXC, who we have no idea and no one should be throwing accusations at specific parties, the only way to figure this out would be to examine who was bidding up PXC on cryptsy.
P.S. I predict vcx will be back up very shortly
If you followed the PXC thread you'd know why... They made an announcement of a PXC service release coming out tomorrow. Thus, everyone who read it started stocking up, and those that did even said on the thread that they were buying. Being that the price is low and the volume is low, those people buying quickly made the price rise and anyone following just the graph might've bought in as well thinking it was a pump. |

Hey there justabit! Haha, yea it gets to me how people keep mentioning how FTC failed when it didn't and there are so many other coins that actually ARE failing. Other than the Feathercoin forums, I just limit myself to the Phenixcoin thread here on bitcointalk to limit my exposure to unnecessary coin bashing lol. If only they had a forum to follow updates but for now it's just this thread. I thank you for your blessings on behalf of everyone here!  (see you in our forums) A forum for Phenix is the last thing we want.. lol. I would never get any work done..  But John and I were were talking about setting up a news letter system, people could subscribe to for updates.. Let me know if that is something that would interest you guys.. M. Definitely, way too many threads to sift through haha. And if it didn't take much to do so, then yea, that would be great! It's easy to miss updates when there's so many pages in the thread. Hopefully the hashrate won't affect too much. It's not THAT big, so the diff spike shouldn't be too much. Plus the spike might slow things down a bit. Either way, your releases over the next few days should encourage the price to be a little stable and keep some extra people mining with the little jump in difficulty. |

Yeah this is not that good actually since the coin diff does not retarget like dgc and wdc. If price drops and miners leave this coin will suffer the same fate as cnc and ftc. That has been my main worry from the outset. I hope this will not kill this coin too. Don't worry developers won't let it die like FTC and CNC. They have done a lot hard work. Yes they are great devs for websites and such, however it seems repairing a coin is different even the guy from FTC who is a super boffin at this stuff from oxford can't fix feathercoins problems and that was a massive coin after a couple of weeks. I asked these diff retarget questions at the begining and nobody answered. Now we will find out what happens. Lets hope the price keeps climbing or we could soon find out. I like pxc more than all the rest, but people dont like to wait 2-3 days to transfer coins like with cnc and ftc. IYou guys are comedy gold. feel like I need to take 2 showers after spending just 5 minutes in this forum sometimes. I bought tons over the past two days and just finished the last of what I had to spend on PXC a few hours before the announcement, finally got lucky! Lol But on that note, the only coins I have now are FTC and PXC with like, .ooo2 BTC and 3 Ltc xD How many PXC do you hold? To be honest, 240k PXC and 120K FTC.... started mining about 4 months ago and all that I've m into those two coins (haven't cashed out at all yet). No worries about a dump though, I plan on holding onto both of them for at least a year, closer to about a 3 year period unless cryptocurrency dies lol |

Exactly, the only dev team other than those behind PXC I have seen put as much support behind a coin are BTC LTC and possibly NetCoin that has not yet been released.
Its a shame all these noobs get rapped into thinking all these other scamcoins will be worth something a week or two down the road. PXC is in it for the long run with real potential, dosent take a genius to see that.
Don't forget FTC! Personally, I find both coins valuable in opposite sides of the spectrum. PXC as having a very good propriety push into getting their coins used, as in offering their own services in order to get the coins used and then expanding. FTC I see as being a very community driven coin in which all the members (myself included) do a lot in order to bring things together and come up with new features alongside the dev (check out forum.feathercoin.com to see what I'm talking about). Either way, I'm very pleased at how both my coins, PXC and FTC, are doing. Not so much as in their current prices are, but at what they're working towards and how far along they are with those goals. Keep up the great job guys, can't wait for your next surprise! |

I'm owner of Crypto-trade recently open. I dont think to add this new alt coin, until somebody can explain me a good reason to use this new new new one, instead of BTC or LTC. And I think receive tons of email from PXC coin owner won't help. It didnt helped at least with all othher altcoin i get spammed daily to add them. Another thing I love to read is when programmer telling they do it not being interrested... To resume this coin have 1 millions premine ( yes I know for a good reason blabla, they all have good reason), 50 000 coins have been given in freeroll on a free poker software warez...and this should make this coins better than other? Sorry i dont buy it...I can play poker with BTC and LTC...Next... I also see you support FTC too on your poker...Same owner? Would make sense as millions of FTC has been dumped, now you guys need another coin for next villa ? Actually the creators of Phenixcoin don't even want it on an exchange yet, since they have no need for it to be since the coin's service base is still under development. However, they can't stop people who own the coin from pleading to exchange owners, such as yourself, to get it added to an exchange. I personally invested a bit into Phenixcoin, but I can wait for it to go into an exchange as I'm in the long run with cryptos. I think if getting it onto exchange means having to spam exchange owners to put it on, it just diminishes the value and the face of the coin and makes it look less legitimate since it can't carry it's own to be put onto an exchange. |

He says there are some stuff they're going to be releasing semi-soon, but they don't want to give it away before they release it just so no one else copies them before it's finished. They've done a lot for the users up to now, both necessary and unnecessary, so I trust them when they say that. |
