Steem was dead the day they claimed to be creating a decentralized platform but they ended up creating a centralized one and then added their token on top of it then the final blow was when they started giving away a lot of money so that people could spam on their platform with low quality stuff.
there can not be an alternative to a broken design like this.
True i even noticed a guy that was posting like 10-20 copy/paste memes from internet and had like 10$ of steemit upvotes for each post in 2017-2018 . Currently each post is worth like few cents , but anyway not sure if steemit is dead , im still reading it day by day . Maybe there is not alot of activity like it was before because of the steemit price . If they will change payment structure or something then probably will get better .

That article kinda does not say nothing about Circulating supply . If its under 1$ per Coin/Token it does not mean its cheap . If you look ar IOTA marketcap then it already have $839,129,580 USD and costs $0.30 USD . To reach 0.90 $ USD cents , it will have 2,517,388,740 Billion USD marketcap which is currently quite hard to reach for coin / token . Best choice to get cheap coin / token is to look for low Circulating supply / Total supply and low marketcap . Ofcourse low marketcap tokens/coins have higher failure risk , but it can pay out really high if you choose the right one

I currently don't participate in ICO's . Only if i find really the one with good idea and future use case . As my statistics show's then its better to grab some tokens after exchange listing , not in ICO . Because price usually is like 5-10x less from ICO price on exchange . I know you will have some news on your project soon , but i advice you to make IEO instead of ICO . You will save some time on KYC approvals and will have some marketing from exchange . Initial Exchange Offering stands for IEO . Thats same what BTT did on Binance and they sold out in 15 minutes . Not sure how many it costs to make IEO on binance , but there is other exchanges that offer this kind of service .

Most profitable definetly would be the bounty i guess . If you can create Articles , youtube videos or even can share , like with your facebook ( If you got followers , friends ) then thats definetly to start with ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Currently its quite hard to earn something with bounty as the market is red , but if you keep holding tokens / coins you get from bounty then who knows , maybe it will pay off in future ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) But really nice tips for people to start with .

I think everyone hoping for the bull run , the ones who shorted hope other way ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Just time will tell and we will see where it goes , nobody can predict as there is quite big manipulation going on right now . I will just hold , like i always did

STO will take over ICO in near future.. And I think it is better. STO will give some kind of security to investors, while ICO is like russian roulette - lucky game. Every 6 project scam I think IEO ( Initial Exchange Offering ) like Bittorrent did on binance exchange will take over . Kinda easy for project to list your tokens for sale on exchange and you don't even need to worry about KYC , cus exchange will sort it out for you . The problem with Security tokens in USA is that you need to wait 6 months -1 year to list on exchanges per SEC Rules .

Oh c'mon! 700k is definitely too much even for FUD news. Calm down future tellers, bitcoin will raise back, but not so high. No way.
That i was saying when BTC was 300$ and it went up to 20k , its like x66 . So if we do x66 from todays price which is 3.5k USD = 231k USD per Bitcoin . Sounds like unreal , but never say never

I picked Ethereum in your vote , but believe holo is really undervalued aswell ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) 1-2 Years and probably we will see it on top10 Coins/Tokens . Everything is so cheap now its hard to choose the best ones , but who knows maybe it will go even lower =D

Not sure about USA law's , but as long as crypto is not ''Money'' then gambling with crypto does not count as gambling =D Because there is ''nothing to lose '' , crypto is not money ( Thats what TV , goverment tells ) . In my country crypto is Item and when i trade with someone then i need to pay tax on that trade ... There is always roundabouts and will be .. Somebody will find a way to build gambling sites for US even if they BAN it ...

My personal important things for project to do is always Communicate with community , don't delay things . Always tell truth about problems you having with project and if your tokens will be locked / frozen for period of time , let the investor know that before he invests . Bring out some AMA , videos from office , updates weekly . After this you will have really great supporters , ofcourse if your project idea is quite nice . If its just copy / paste from another project then there will be no suceed .

Unfortunately there is still people out there that don't care about others and think only about himself . I don't say the CEO faked death , who knows maybe he really died and somebody did know where the keys was and now trying blame dead CEO . Hopefully investors will get all invested money back or atleast something . Novadays we should be more carefull where we put our money . Currently i think its best to stick with BTC , ETH and other proven coins / tokens .

You could make the argument that if all of the capital in crypto only had to be spread across 50 coins that that would make each of those coins extremely more valuable. In light of that thought, is the huge variety of Altcoins ultimately a good or bad thing for crypto?
More possibilities for people . Its like there is loads of different Vines , beers , Fiats , cars and so on . Why should we have like 10-15 different banks in country if you can have one ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I would say its good , as it employs people and there is new people coming in to learn what is blockchain and how to code lets say on ETH or any ETH based token

Yes, this is done to help prevent large amounts of tokens being dumped onto the market which can greatly affect the price in the current market conditions when liquidity across the board is low, but this method should also be applied to investors who acquired at huge discounts not only advisors and bounty hunters
But if there is buy orders then where is the problem ? If the project is really great then there always will be traders , buyers and sellers . Lets say they distribute 10% everymonth for everyone . Anyway alot of people will dump if they want . Thats really stupid to think that distributing 10% every month you will secure the ICO level price . Won't happen as its proven already with many projects out there . Communicate with community , follow roadmap and bring updates every week not after months of silence then you will keep your token price tanking . Thats how it is and will be !

At present there are still many new ICOs emerging, but are they still reliable? What I see now is that there are many ICO coins that are not registered in the market even though the ICO has been successful in sales. Yes, I see very bad market conditions for ICO coin registration on the market, but is that the only reason?
Currently people are more carefull with ICO's . As to get attention as project you will need to have Demo , prototype or some kind of beta app . In 2017 projects had only whitepaper (some of them even didn't had that and managed to collect 10M USD ) and people where throwing money in . Currently ICO's are not popular as they don't collect much funds . But there is new type of Offering its Initial Exchange offering , its like project mint tokens and send them to sell on exchange with fixed price on sell order . Thats what BTT did on Binance ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) They sold out in 15 min i read it somewhere

Damn that guy is crazy . I would never spend on anything like that . I would probably Invest further and make some business ( or atleast try ) with 1M USD . Thats quite impressive sum for me and i could live with 1M for years . Maybe when i would have that 1M i would think different , but hopefully someday it will happen who knows =D

I only use 2 exchanges right now which are Nauticus and Binance. Coinbase ripped me off last year and Kraken has tons of issues. What do you guys think of Nauticus and Binance? Do you guys think these are good exchanges that have a quality project?
If its not secret how did they ripped you off ? I did use Coinbase few times and didn't had any problems at all . Easy to use and understand . My second favorite is bittrex and cex aswell . Never used Nauticus or Binance so far =D But i know that Binance is one of the top exchanges out there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

If you are newbie in crypto then i think best would be pick the top5 coins for the start . Just choose like 3-4 of them you like the best and believe that they will be the ones people will use in future . My bet is on my favorite one Ethereum . Don't struggle with tokens / altcoins that have 1-10M USD marketcap . Its really risky to invest in them , but it can pay out ofcourse , but is it worth ? The first thing to recover will be BTC in my opinion then the rest will follow . So split your investment and put 50% on BTC

I can name so many projects that didn't pay bounty hunters , but instead freeze distribution , but if you look at price from ICO price then you will see its lost value like 98% from ICO price . Im bounty hunter myself , but usually i don't sell tokens that i get from bounty . In my opinion projects delay bounty distribution / airdrop distribution and other community rewards , will get no support from hunters ...

From yesterday the price of bitcoin got increased upto $400 due to the speculation of ETF approval by SEC which made all the other crypto currencies to bump with the same level of bitcoin so which shows that if bitcoin prices recover all the crypto currencies will be able to recover.
Do you agree that?
Yes because almost all cryptocurrencies is pegged to price of BTC and ETH . So if BTC rises and your altcoin cost lets say 0.0003 BTC ( Currently its 1.09 USD ) and BTC goes to 6k USD range , then your altcoin probably still will be priced at 0.0003 ( but at this moment your 0.0003 BTC will be double value than before ) . It depends actually if your altcoin will be dumped or not .. But yea , btc helps to gain value for other alts aswell ..

The thing i learned is that does not matter how promising the project are , it has really big chance to fail . 2 Projects that i invested is currently at the stage where they are running out of funds . Currently its better ofcourse to buy after exchange listing as the price from ico price will be alot lower .
