If the token is airdropped for free, the value is 0. Anything more is a plus...

Why do you need your own ERC20 token for this project? What is the usercase and why the potential investor shold buy them?

The only way to make the 100x if you create your own token, write a nice and colourful website and whitepaper with as many buzzwords as you can manage to write down and sell your worthless token.
This way many project earned millions of USD.

If you don't want to take the risk, keep the BTC and do nothing. BTC price always recover.
Alternatively, invest in some solid altcoins (not eSomething or BTC somecolour) for a bigger profit, but you can lose as well.

Why not? It is a good practice for him and a nice project to put into his CV... And who knows, the coin might achieve some financial success as well as a bonus.

Nobody know and nobody can promise anything on the price... But as an indicator: HLM was already priced into the SPR price before the snapshot and since the split, the value of HLM disappeared from it.

It was known this will happen, SPR will go freefall after the snapshot, it could have been expected and calculated with. But I am sure the HLM price will be much higher next year.

There isn't too much difference between the Bitcoin Core developers and the Decred developers technical abilities and coding skills as once they were the same team:

If you give 10 to the Bitcoin Core developers, then Decred's developers at least 10 as well, especially now, when we can see the division between Bitcoin Core and Segwit2X. It won't happen with Decred due to the governance system.

You can buy HeliumPay, not even Helium yet. The network just started and still a few week before the pubic release. The HLM will be traded in Cryptopia, it is already listed, but needs to wait until the public launch.

Masternode needs 1000 HLM collateral, the ServiceNode will need more, but that is not decided yet. Discussions will start next year about ServiceNodes.

Yes, it takes 3 days to get a masternode reward, but it is about 3 Arc at a time, like once a day.  I am not sure about getting 0.4 Arc reward in every hour would be more attractive, but probably 1 Arc a day would. People don't follow their masternode on a hourly basis... But to get paid every day, you can set up multiple nodes (price is cheap) and you will get Arc every day by different nodes.

If you don't like the project and don't believe it's success, then the best would be for you if you sell your HLM as soon as possible for someone who is foolish enough to buy it from you... I would volunteer to take it over.
