221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[Bounty]✅ JOT ART (JOT) 💰 $2M WORTH OF REWARDS AVAILABLE! 💰 on: April 28, 2023, 09:37:58 PM
Is there a separate thread designated for the signature campaign? It appears that the opening post does not contain a signature, and there is no column for signatures on the spreadsheet.
222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 27, 2023, 09:48:01 PM
If you had mastered forex trading prior to delving into cryptocurrency, you would likely have gained a deeper understanding and might have viewed your time in forex as less valuable. Cryptocurrency, being decentralized, digital, and cyclical, offers a distinct and more rewarding experience. Furthermore, I believe that the utilization and trading of cryptocurrencies are simpler to comprehend.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: First Republic Bank fall: fear of more others to follow. on: April 27, 2023, 09:31:38 PM
I am not surprised by the recent cracks and failures in the banking system, the system was propped up with free money and almost everyone feels like a genius but now that the free money has dried up, the men are being separated from the boys, this is not an issue associated with the banking sector alone but the whole economy, there are a lot of zombie companies now that will default and fail in coming months just be prepared, until the Central banks turn on the tap this trend is likely going to continue
I admire your ability to provide a clear perspective on the matter. The recession's impact on the American economy and financial state is undeniable, and it can no longer be ignored. However, I hold the belief that the market will improve in the near future.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins, Telegram and Security on: April 26, 2023, 09:26:59 PM
I acknowledge the potential for trading Bitcoin on Telegram, as I have previously engaged in trading Ton and Ethereum on the platform. While I did come across the option to trade Bitcoin, I cannot provide a definitive assessment of its security. Additionally, I am uncertain about the platform's readiness for handling larger-scale trading activities

Maybe for convenience purposes, you can try their services. But only for small amount.
But when you start trading significant amount, better deal with actual crypto-exchange.
Because if it fails, do you really think the response will be fast on resolving issues on this platform?
Also, the rates may be high as compared to actual exchanges because you are paying for convenience on this service.
I am also hesitant using this platform when you know that they have a lot of scammers lurking around.
I had doubts about using it, but considering that my wallet cannot be linked to the Telegram app, I decided to take the risk. Additionally, I transferred the transaction fee for the trade into the wallets and promptly sent back the value of my Ether to my wallet after completing the trade.

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Solalgo is the world’s first Web3 iDIB (intelligent digital investment bank on: April 26, 2023, 08:03:26 PM
I have discovered intriguing details regarding several influencers who are actively engaged with the project on Twitter. However, I have been unable to gather information about any other team members apart from Barry Martin. Could you please confirm whether the coin has been listed on PancakeSwap, as mentioned on your Twitter? If it has indeed been listed, kindly provide me with the link to the listing and the associated blockchain address. Additionally, I am curious to know which partners the team is currently considering or exploring.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Banks really manipulates us? on: April 25, 2023, 10:20:33 PM
Discussions about conspiracy theories related to banks will have to wait for another day. However, it is widely acknowledged that many countries support banks because of the benefits that governments derive from them. Bank policies and funds acquired from citizens are often heavily influenced, and the interest rates presented to customers are portrayed as reasonable. It's important to take into account the ways in which citizens are exploited, such as in the realms of healthcare insurance and housing, and how payment for these services is channeled through financial systems.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 25, 2023, 10:03:20 PM
In my own view, there are some nuances to consider. While there is certainly a high level of risk associated with cryptocurrency, making wise market decisions can lead to greater initial investments than just starting with $20. However, it's worth noting that many centralized exchanges have a minimum purchase requirement of $10 for any coin. Additionally, trading inevitably incurs transaction fees, which need to be factored in. Lastly, diversification is a key risk-management strategy in trading, and $20 may not be sufficient to address the challenges that lie ahead.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: April 24, 2023, 09:55:08 PM
I don't understand how the valuation of individuals associated with cryptocurrencies on the list is determined. The criteria used to collect this data are unreliable and inadequate. Moreover, the inclusion of Binance on the list is troubling, as it has faced allegations of being involved in the FTX scam and has been embroiled in legal battles over its wealth affiliations in America. Additionally, there have been instances where a significant amount of the BUSD stablecoin disappeared in a short period of time, and substantial funds were utilized to safeguard the coin in the market during that week.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: April 23, 2023, 09:54:42 PM
To what extent is this information accurate? It has been observed that Binance has started enabling users to buy cryptocurrencies using cards issued by Russian banks, a step perceived as an attempt to bypass international sanctions that had previously restricted its services in Russia.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: April 23, 2023, 01:48:34 PM
If it's true that the latest update will bring Shiba Inu like that, it will change the Shiba Inu from being a meme coin to a privacy coin which is better and clearer on purpose. Because compared to being a meme coin that only relies on pumping, it would be better for Shiba Inu to be a privacy coin that can be used by people for faster and anonymous transactions globally.
It is possible that Shibu Inu coins are considering transitioning into privacy coins due to recent decisions made by Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) that prioritize privacy, financial inclusion, and standardization. Unlike meme coins, privacy coins have struggled with issues such as liquidity, cross-border transactions, and lack of standardization, as evidenced by the fact that criminals tend to use bitcoin more than privacy coins. However, the potential for meme coins to become privacy coins is not entirely clear but the liquidity is an advantage, the process will consider its new venture involving swapping and other considerations.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Losses Equal Operational Costs on: April 23, 2023, 12:21:46 PM
It should be the halving year or a year after the halving year. Best is only sell our bitcoin after two halving cycles.
After the institutional investors came in, we all have noticed that the bitcoin's price cycle has changed a lot since the past couple of years. I don't think the halving year will have any major effect on the price like the old (golden) days. If you ask me, just play with the most recent sentiments and dont think that long. For the hodling part, hold your bitcoin regardless of the year and sell in parts whenever you are satisfied with the gains. As simple as that!
Considering that the price of Bitcoin has grown by over 30,000 times in the last 14 years, it is reasonable to assume that there is a significant demand for this cryptocurrency. However, in order to further support the bullish trend in the coming year, some believe that we need more institutional investors, larger funds in the crypto space, increased demand and liquidity, as well as more crowdfunding initiatives. While we currently lack concrete evidence to support these predictions, the fact that Bitcoin reached a price of $30,000 in a short period of time this year, which is half of its previous all-time high, suggests that anything is possible by the end of the year.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Standard, The Ultimate decentralized stablecoin & lending protocol on: April 23, 2023, 10:52:39 AM
standard protocol has resumed trade on quickswap with its Matic blockchain
https://quickswap.exchange/#/swap?inputCurrency=0xe342ebb6a56cd3dbf0fe01a447fe367b9290ecf8&outputCurrency=0x2791bca1f2de4661ed88a30c99a7a9449aa84174
There are information of the coin getting listed on coinbase, which is great news to attract both partners and new investors
Coingecko; https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/standard-token
Coinmarketmap; https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thestandard-io/

Huge pump based on this news, it is good that the tokens are back trading on Quickswap but the issue still remains the liquidity is still low, this would keep out investors that want to buy in size away, I just hope the team will do something about this, even some low cap project have liquidity better than what $TST has for now, but listing on Quickswap is a step in the right direction. If the CoinBase news come true this would be a game changer for this project
Regrettably, the trade for the coin on Quickswap does not seem to be visible on Coingecko at the moment. However, according to CoinMarketCap, the coin is being traded on other platforms such as Sushiswap, Pancakeswap, MM Finance Polygon, and Quickswap, although the liquidity is currently low on all these exchanges.
234  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How we go take make our local board better? on: April 22, 2023, 07:13:36 PM
In addition to the aforementioned details, I came across information regarding a co-founder of the Syntrum project, Shola Otitoju, from Nigeria. I would recommend considering this project, as it recently concluded its bounty campaign on this forum and is set to launch in a few months with promising ideas. The Syntrum project can be found at https://twitter.com/0xSyntrum?t=kQ7ArKCZh98Yc6aDpD5k8A&s=09.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 22, 2023, 07:00:19 PM
Solana has experienced an impressive 80% price increase thus far in 2023. However, it may face competition from other coins that offer strong ideas and promising ROI in the coming months. Projects such as LHINU, FGHT, CCHG, MET, and TARO could be lucrative investment options in 2023. I am not promoting any particular investment, but it may be worthwhile to consider these alternatives.
236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me in choosing wallet before I make mistake on: April 21, 2023, 02:05:50 PM
To ensure the highest level of security when storing cryptocurrencies, it is crucial to prioritize safe storage options. Custodial wallets or web wallets may not be ideal for long-term storage due to potential security risks. Instead, non-custodial software wallets or hardware wallets are recommended as they provide better security and allow users to retain control over their funds. For example, using a non-custodial software wallet like Electrum, which is a desktop app, enables users to have full control over their private keys and securely manage their funds on their own devices. It's worth noting that keeping large amounts of coins on an online exchange is generally not advisable as these exchanges can be susceptible to hacks or other security breaches. However, it may be necessary to use a centralized exchange at some point, and in such cases, it's important to choose a reputable and trusted exchange.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 21, 2023, 11:34:38 AM
It remains a complex and challenging task to train an AI system to play professional online poker, as there are many practical and ethical considerations to take into account. This type of endeavor must be approached with caution and comply with legal and ethical guidelines
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THREE THINGS THAT WILL TRIGGER CRYPTO NEXT BULL RUN on: April 21, 2023, 11:27:14 AM

3. Cutting down interest rates by fed will go a long way to trigger the
What are your thoughts on this, share your opinion let’s grow together
There is a complex relationship between interest rates and cryptocurrency prices, as well as other factors such as regulatory developments, technological advancements, and market sentiment. Further, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and speculative assets, so their prices are not solely affected by interest rate changes.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 19, 2023, 05:04:44 PM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
Yes, I agree with the point that the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices at 30k$ or near that price. This indicates that traders are likely turning towards altcoins as Bitcoin's volatility decreases and that we may be entering a new Altcoin season.
It's important not to be misled into thinking that a decrease in Bitcoin's volatility will lead to an altcoin pump. In reality, Bitcoin will always be the market leader in leading the way into altseason. This is a fundamental principle of the market that cannot be ignored. Many theories are unreliable, and it's not wise to make decisions based on them. If Bitcoin remains at 30k while an unexpected coin pumps to its all-time high, you may be surprised to see a large portion of the market experience a dump throughout the market cycle.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: April 19, 2023, 06:34:39 AM
There are still individuals in the social media cryptocurrency scene whom I can distinguish based on certain characteristics. Despite having been involved in cryptocurrency for more than eight years, they may not be referred to as "influencers." These individuals may have previously shown interest in various altcoins and made recommendations, resembling influencers, but now solely focus on Bitcoin, possibly due to their newfound millionaire status. I continue to follow individuals such as Peter Brandt and Leon Fu, who exercise caution in their opinions and tweets.
