221  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is quantum computing threat to Bitcoin ? on: June 09, 2018, 07:19:24 AM
Before the taught of quantum computers, bitcoin and all other crypto currencies are encrypted and transactions cannot not be traced. If quantum computers will be a treat to bitcoin and crypto currencies, it then means it will be a treat to the entire internet and everything connected to it. And if such a machine is created, it can't be like the PCs that everyone can get or buy at anytime, it will have to be restricted and put in control by the government, monitoring everything that is been done with it, otherwise things unspeakable will be done with it.
222  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How do you keep your mnemonic phrases? on: June 09, 2018, 06:55:21 AM
I copy out my mnemonics, phrases and passwords into a document safely stored in my flash, giving  a very strong password and face recognition, and written in a document placed at some part of my house, which no one except me that has access to the place. Might not be the safest, but okay by me.
223  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the predominant one among forks? on: June 08, 2018, 09:43:23 PM
For me, I'll say that as bitcoin is the first  of its kind, it is useling its dominant power to subdue others, and bitcoin itself has lots of backers that bitcoincash, bitcoin gold, bitcoin segwit2x does not have. Bitcoin's influence in the crypto market is so high and trusted that it affects all other currencies.
224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency on: June 07, 2018, 04:23:47 PM
It is a very good you already have .6 BTC. If this is what you have, and you are new here, it will be you bought that amount of BTC, which means buying is not counted as an option. There are several ways to increase your BTC, but Note, its risky.
1. Trading, buying and selling of altcoins and bitcoins,
2. Investing into ICOs ( its advisable to make self research before investing),
3. Gambling, which contains a good amount of both losses and profits, etc.

I will be very happy with your advice in PM.

Asking for pm is not a good idea for me, cause it will lead you being scammed, using convincing words to buy your mind. Try make everything transparent, not for only you, but for every body that will need answers too.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start trading on the crypto exchange? on: June 06, 2018, 06:19:51 PM
If you want to start trading, you will need to have the following things that are necessary; which include:
1. Capital for start up (bitcoin or altcoins),
2. Sign up/register on any exchange site of your choice,
3. Fund your account by depositing into your exchange wallet,
4. Now, you can buy/sell any token you wish.

As a first timer, it is always advisable to start with a little amount to avoid much losses.

227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 04, 2018, 05:46:43 AM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Bitcoin is a form of investment that is generally converted into any native currency, but for it to be generally accepted by all, that will or might not happen, cause it is a speculative digital currency meant for the internet, with no central control.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: June 01, 2018, 07:34:17 AM
Some says that to be a trader is very risky, if it is really risky why there are still traders and more are becoming interested to be like this?  Anything that you can share and advice to a newbie like me is appreciated.

Trading is very interesting and more profit oriented, cause it is of more fun. Truelly there is risk in trading, but the risk can be minimized by setting a trade limit(ie setting the minimum to maximum you'll wish to trade). That is where you enjoy the ride of trading.

230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: May 27, 2018, 06:53:57 PM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

Bitcoin has a full potential of surviving and being used in the future, but it cannot take the filull position or replace the national fiat currency. The national currency of every country represents that country, and there are faces on every country's currency, so what face will it have....?
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown? on: May 27, 2018, 06:48:45 PM
There is no coin that can take the place of bitcoin, cause bitcoin remains the number one. ETH BCH are coins which will survive along side with bitcoin for a long run. Except these two coins there is no other coin that can replace them, not to talk of taking the place of bitcoin.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: May 26, 2018, 04:34:19 PM
ICOs are the more profit oriented, but lots of them are scams. Buying btc and ETH for a long term holding is only bringing increment on your investment. But investing into ICOs and holding for a long time will give you double of the btc/ETH held.
Self Research is a very helpful material at this point.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you find a good bounty campaign? on: May 26, 2018, 04:26:45 PM
Yeah, I agree with you @athiftammam2018. If the manager of the bounty is a trusted member of the forum, there will be some interest looking into the project. And that will lead to making further research into the project.
I do check at times on google search for ongoing ICOs, and make review on them.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: May 26, 2018, 04:19:06 PM
I don't really think the regulation will be of any much effect, cause there are other places for the bounty campaigns, like the bounty signature campaign, reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, medium etc. Its just that the twitter and Facebook campaigns are more easy to take part in, which leads to too much participants and that gives low rewards to the participants.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 25, 2018, 10:31:56 AM
The fluctuation in the price of bitcoin is a normal thing, and that is why it is better to know about bitcoin before making investment into it.
The price of bitcoin is unstable, and cannot be given a fixed prediction, and in other for you to keep up with bitcoin/crypto currencies, you must be able to control your emotions. Bitcoin price will renounce when the time comes, and now is the best time for all new investors.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a relation between Bitcoinprice and Gold price? on: May 24, 2018, 08:05:40 PM
In my own perspective, there is no relationship between them. Gold is a nature precious stone which can be carried, touched moved with to any part of the world your going, but bitcoin is a digital currency created by the intellectual knowledge of a man (more like a foundation laid for all other crypto currencies). So, if there is any close move in their price, it has nothing to do in their utility/mobility.
