181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: July 06, 2018, 08:27:14 PM
It might be a wrong decision when the purpose of selling is caused by the deep/red in the price. One might get broke financially and the bitcoins he/she has is the only point for having money in the hand, which means there is no choice for him/her to make at that point. And that is called a necessary move made.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business? on: July 04, 2018, 07:23:20 AM
The users of bitcoin is increasing on a daily basis. Which means its popularity is getting round the world. For now, the transaction fee of bitcoin for purchasing things online is expensive, and time consuming to confirm transaction.
Seeing bitcoin as a form of business is not true, bitcoin is a digital currency meant for online transactions and a currency for investment. With a technology for the future.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a renounce yet? on: July 01, 2018, 08:40:21 PM
in order for a rise to start we first need to break some barriers (resistances) and some say it is about $6400 but i think it is about $400 above that market and closer to $7000 before the rise starts. i reckon if we reach $6700 the price will shoot up to $8000 like last time and that will be our rally. mostly because of the large number of people who are waiting to FOMO buy bitcoin with the smallest green light.
Probably this is correct, I think at this range bitcoin price will grow up but not totally in the market bull run.
And yes, many people now waiting when the market turns to green and I am one of them then if the bitcoin price hit at least $7000 many of smallholders sell their bitcoin. In this scenario, bitcoin price hardly recovered in the market. ( my own perception )
Btw market now it looks so good hopefully it will continue until in the month of December.

If this should continue to the month of December, how will it be for the new ICOs and their listing to exchanges. Cause most ICOs that has finished their sale are now scared to get listed on exchanges.
At the part you said "...when bitcoin price hit $7000 many of smallholders sell their bitcoins". This is true cause the few which will get their capital at this point will sell, but holders will still hold on. This should be the toughest time bitcoin has faced, that waved the entire crypto market.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the most crucial year for bitcoin? on: July 01, 2018, 06:04:47 PM
The year 2017 caused an attraction to bitcoin and into crypto currencies at large. 2018 has been hard on the market through the first half of the year. The other half has just started, let's wait to see what this half has for the crypto market, more years are ahead, who know what's awaiting for the crypto currencies and lovers of crypto.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic selling. on: June 30, 2018, 08:49:16 PM
Panic selling in not an option when it comes to crypto currencies. Most people panic sale when the whales makes some move giving some effect in the market/coin (bitcoin or altcoins). They know what they are up to, but those who does not understand, sales and end up losing. Don't sale because the market is red, sale because you need to sale.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Better Late than Never? on: June 30, 2018, 08:26:34 PM
The risk of crypto investment is that there will always be a time for correction and deep in the prices, which means if patience and emotions can't be controlled, then there will be lots of panic sale. First, defeat your emotions, then wait, cause there is always a rebounds in price.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a renounce yet? on: June 30, 2018, 08:17:51 PM
As at 19:18, 29-06-2018, bitcoin fell down to $5,8k and its current price is $6,3k (coinbase recorded).
Is this the point of bitcoin rise?
is $5,8k the lowest drop in bitcoin price or will it still deep more?
Or are we on the road to the moon?

If you believe there will be a way to the moon, and if you panic then you will find a dead end. To benefit from bitcoin is not as easy as it thinks, you must have confidence and patience.

I know very well that patience is a very vital material that must be possessed before one can gain well with bitcoin or any altcoin. Panic sale is one thing I have delth with, I sale when I need the money, other than that, I don't panic sale for no reason.

189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin stay above 6k $ on: June 28, 2018, 05:14:10 PM
Bitcoin's current down deep might get to $5k, cause there has been no sign of price improvement since the deep started. And this is a very good time for new investors to come in, truelly, there is panic all round the crypto market, but its the best time.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about Cryptocurrency? on: June 28, 2018, 05:08:37 PM
Why cryotocurrency is useful?
What do you like best about cryotocurrency?
What makes cryotocurrency better then fiat?

Its usefulness for me is as a digital currency, that does not need to and fro carrying about movement. One can have 10-20 btc and can move without no one know his of a million worth.
Crypto currency is very flexible and easy to use.
It has no central control and transactions cannot be traced/tracked.
For me, it just fun being among those with the latest technology that is going to shake the world.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: June 26, 2018, 10:13:00 PM
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

Buying during the ICO period is much more better than buying token immediately after ICO. After ICO, there will be dump, if you can deal with your emotions, then you can go ahead and wait for it's rise. Except that, buying during presale is more preferable by me.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: June 24, 2018, 09:06:33 PM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other

For all the list given, bitcoin has played all parts well, and with a very high mark result. Bitcoin is a point of connectivity between the real world (fiat currencies) and the digital world (crypto currencies). If there most be a successful transfer to fiat, bitcoin must come to play a vital role. Bitcoin will remain the number 1 for all crypto currencies, and that will stand.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader? on: June 24, 2018, 09:05:53 PM
It is not a must that every trader has to be educated in the field of trading. For sure, there are rules of trading, but not all can go with those rules. 99.9% of none educated traders tries to abide to the Buy low and sell high trading rule, and also wait for a 50% profit on the capital invested.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 24, 2018, 07:40:35 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

The risk of investing in banks is less compared to that of bitcoins. If its an annual gain that is gotten from banks without any investments, its better, and if there is any lost of money, complains can be made to a manager of the bank..., but when it comes to bitcoin investment, the moon rise and fluctuations in price is worth taking the risk, but nobody to complain to.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Eth, altcoins and scam ICOs. on: June 23, 2018, 09:47:51 PM
ETH is a major coin to be looked at when all altcoins are mentioned. Lots of these good altcoins are erc20 compatible. Most ICOs tagged/seen as  scam ICOs are erc20 compatible. If one ends up being scammed, will Undecided/is there a central body that can be held responsible, will the coin be listed in an exchange and will it have a price growth at the end Undecided ?
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: June 23, 2018, 06:02:44 PM
Of the thousands of altcoins that exist, really all scam? but ETH has proved not a scam, then not all altcoin are scam. So in my opinion, you do not have to sell all your altcoin.

Yes, ETH has made a standout from all altcoins, and majority of these altcoins are not really scam, because most of them end up with good worth/potentials too as far they are being listed in exchanges.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We trust in crypto! on: June 21, 2018, 08:08:38 PM
How long do you think will the cryptocurrency be popular? Does she substitution the usual fiat money? How many years will pass before this?

Crypto currencies are popular, they might not be well know to what they are, but known as a currency that can be converted to native fiat. A time cometh where crypto currencies will be generally accepted, but will not take the place of fiat currency. That is, bitcoin will be generally accepted for all online transactions, but will not be generally accepted for day to day transactions.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 21, 2018, 02:59:47 AM
Ever since bitcoin price started dropping, most of the threads i see here are : is bitcoin dying?, will bitcoin go green again?, should i hold or sell? etc. I laugh when i see such threads. Every business has a window of opportunity when the market is ripe to enter. This is the time to invest more in bitcoin. Every good investor see every dip as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin and hold. The weak ones see dips and they start to shiver; selling all their bitcoins, even including their altcoins. Please community members, the way we are handling this drop in bitcoin will scare new members from even investing in the coin which will cause a further decrease in the price and the unexpected might happen. Let's have a healthy discussion about our coin even in hard times, and it will attract more people to invest and eventually pump the price again. Friends what do you also think?

People who do things of this nature are people who heard of bitcoin as a scheme. A scheme that can double your money in the shortest period of time. They really do not know what bitcoin is really created for, what they are after is their capital used at the point of investment and the profit that follows, nothing else. What I think is that, those who are yet to know about the blockchain technology are still out there, these people that panic sell, they dont kknow what they are really into.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is slowly degrading on: June 19, 2018, 07:21:46 PM
Dont panic at first. stay still .. wait for the right moment. try other stuff , then be back on the increasing market value of the your assets.. Market place is not so stable on some point, just have enough knowledge in your game. find a fast moving game plan so your coins, will not be stagnated.

You have well spoken OP. Panic selling has nothing good to offer. Anybody that panic sell ends up facing losses, except you need to cashout due to some purpose or one being broke. Except that, selling at this time is of no good.
200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin stay above 6500? on: June 18, 2018, 10:22:30 PM
I wonder if I should sell now or hope for the bulls. Looks like it's way too late to sell...

If you think it way too late to sell, then hold and wait for the bull rise. This year is too unpredictable, the price of bitcoin is dropping without a hold or point of stability. So, for me, holding is the best thing at this point and wait forward to the future.
