Ugh..I'm not sure what to do. My A3 Is still only pushing out of one board. The first two boards are totally fine but for the last week now board #3 has not been doing anything. I've tried resetting to factory numerous times, obviously restarting and cooling and nothing. Is there anyone that has any advice? It's killing me :/ I've tried a diff power supply too. https://ibb.co/nngmdmhat tip to anyone who can help! Thank you. Make sure your power supply can do 1600 watts. Make sure all connections on miner are firm. Your better off mining on the working boards and just before the warranty ends return it to be fixed, or order new new boards and take out the duds yaself with bitmain s permission. Do not return miner now cause by the time you get it back it wont make as much. It should be using a fraction of less power with mining on only the working board so it wont cost as much in power.

@VoskCoin
What freq do you run your A3? What are your temps?
freq 644 and I do not recommend overclocking in full disclosure etc whatever / full dash https://imgur.com/sN20uA7/ miner pulls in outside air currently around 40 f I'm running 631 @ 88% fans currently (100 makes an annoying vibration in my floor). Running fine, temps in the mid to high 70s (pulling cold basement air), though I am still baffled by the whole "if you reboot, your temperatures change by 5-10 degrees" thing. theyre 5-10 higher or lower for you? They would be lower because rebooting them cools them down cause mining stops then fans sync. Wont last though depending on ambient temp

Mining earnings are only terrible if you sell your coins cheap. Use real world income to pay for electricity. Hold coins for now and with the latest market dump hopefully the price goes sideways for a few months giving us all time to accumulate for the next bull market. Hopefully current market prices will deter new miners from entering in the market which is good, gpu and asic miner prices should stay or drop, which is good. Weak investers should have been flushed out of the market which is good. Overbought market conditions should be close to or have been ceased with this latest dump. This is the correction we had to have before prices can continue in an upward trend. People are blaming india or tether for this correction but these are just excuses , this correction was coming no matter what. Everyone who was kicking themselves for not holding or buying more btc sub 10k months ago now have been given a second chance to add to their holdings while the dip lasts.

I must have been dreaming thinking that batch 1 was the last.

New batch of A3's being released today? Yes says Bitmain but "All confirmed orders in this batch will start shipping after 15 March 2018". So 50 days left to mine before they get fired up? As long as profit stays over 40 a day we should have ROI by then I REALLY doubt ROI is over 40 a day by then. Bitmain's own mining activity would have crushed ROI. Priced at 980 USD Means they are killing all A3 and their customers. If they want us to make ROI before batch 2 delivery they might expect profits to reach around 45 a day and thats if they want us to make ROI. Thats if u just received it. All those that got it earlier than today well done. Hold ya sia and we will all do better.

Hello everyone, I wanted to take a moment and provide some information on a recent order I did through Bittawm's https://bittawmart.com/ storefront. It's rare that you find an online store that gives excellent customer service like you would expect. Pleasing the customer (or rather just providing lip-service to the idea) has been a lost art in today's business world. On Jan 1st, I purchased two Baikal A2000 ASICs from bittawmart.com, in two separate orders. One of the orders I had sent too low of a BTC fee, and had to scramble to find someone to fast-track the transaction. Once done, the two orders were sent immediately, and I received them a couple of days later. I promptly set them up and out of the box everything worked fine... until something strange started to happen. It started with my Awesome Miner telling me that the ASICs were down. I couldn't access the web interface of the ASICs and there was no response to pings. I rebooted them, and everything seemed fine again. Then about 30 minutes later, the same thing would happen. I started some basic troubleshooting, all the typical stuff. Re-seating all the cables, trying new ethernet cables, LAN ports etc... but anywhere from 15-45 minutes... usually averaging around 30 minutes the ASICs would go offline. Now, this is a perplexing situation, and my fears were that maybe something happened to the devices in shipping. I reached out to Bittawm via email, who was very prompt to respond and quickly helped me go through some other troubleshooting steps. I have an old Baikal A900, so I was familiar with their devices. We tried linking the two units together, using one Orange Pi Zero then the other, re-flashing both SD cards, and trying them in all the possible configurations. Still the same thing kept happening... they would go offline around 30 minutes after booting. I tried reaching out the Baikal support through email and skype, but they are hard to catch online. The strange thing was that both Orange PI Zeros seemed to have the exact same problem. You could expect that one might go bad, but two? Bittawm was very attentive to this situation, and apologized for the inconvenience. He offered to send me two new Orange Pi Zeros free of charge from his USA contact. I'll leave the USA contact nameless unless he wants to be known. The two new Orange PI Zeros came in a couple of days and I tried them again... only to find the exact same problem. Now it was getting frustrating. The USA contact figured out that it was me who was having the problem and reached out to me via PM here. We then hooked up on WhatsApp to delve a little more into the problem. The USA contact wanted me to try different configurations again, some new... I cycled through all four Orange PI Zeros, running in single board configurations, dual, quadruple... you name it. Tried reflashing all 4 SD cards, new power supplies, you name it. We spent a whole day troubleshooting. The USA contact was patient and just as engaged as Bittawm. If nothing else, I was pleased at the outstanding customer service that was happening. Bittawm was great during all this troubleshooting as well and offered to send me back a refund equivalent to the revenue I was losing for all the days the miners were not working. That's classy, but I really just wanted to get the ASICs working. At this point, we had nothing else to try, and suspected maybe all four ASIC boards may have some problem. The USA contact offered to send me two replacement A2000 units. Even further, as it was a weekend and they wouldn't ship until Monday... he setup two A2000s from his personal collection and mine to my account for a couple of days to prove that they would work. I monitored my pool account, and they worked as advertised. The USA contact shipped these new A2000's out and I got them a couple of days later. The USA contact also sent me a pre-paid mailer to send the old units back and the spare Orange PI Zeros he had sent. When the new units arrived, I set them up and again... the same issue. None of this made any sense at this point. The PI would just stop responding after about 30 minutes. This was kind of dismaying... thinking I had made a $4200 mistake. On a whim, I logged into the pool, and saw that the hashrate had not dropped to zero. This was confusing, because the PI does not respond to pings, the web interface was inaccessible... but there it was. The hashrate was going just expected otherwise. I let it run overnight, and in the morning checked the pool again. Still no issue, but of course I couldn't ping the PI or access the web interface. I reached out to the USA contact to give them the news, and to let them know I'm fine with the results of the tremendous effort in troubleshooting, all the anxiety that the potential bad ASICs had caused. There must be something in my network that is causing the issue. No other device has any problem, so it was easy to overlook the basics. I still don't have a solution to my networking issue. I'm looking through some Orange PI Zero forums to see if there is some configuration change I can do on the OS to resolve the problem. I want to again thank Bittawm and the USA contact for their incredible attention to this strange situation. The stupendous customer service is not one that I will easily forget. When I do interviews in my day job, one of the questions I ask potential candidates is "Give me an example where someone has given you incredible customer service and how did that affect how you do it?" If I ever get asked that question in an interview myself, I will point to this experience as the best possible answer. Thank you for reading if you made it this far. ;TLDR I would have no hesitation in ordering from or recommending that others order from https://bittawmart.com/ in the future. The customer service is what sets them apart. Thanks Bittawm and the USA contact! Wow u wont get as good a service like that elsewhere

2. Actually , they did sell to the general public . They quoted me 6 @ $3600. Pre-order really possible? With email or skype? Giant B, X10 or both? 4. I have mining equipment that makes more money today than it did when I bought it 8 months ago. Which equipment? Giant b pre order was sold to public by baikal but with a minimum order of 6 at 3600 each. Through email. They sold out.

Bitmain are in a unique position here, they will have the first released asic for blake2b and will own the hashrate for months. Baikal giant b owners wont likely bother mining this algo in favour for more profitable algos on their machines. The d3 had to compete with ibelink, innosilicon, pinidea and baikal, all at once. Halong could be months away and possibly in small batches and the sc1 wont come till june. Limited buy quantities is also good sign. Its just up to bitmain to not overproduce , maybe this could be their chance to win back the hearts of miners after the d3 debacle.

Those guys arent proven yet, their btc miner have dubious specs too.

Anyone actually used that shop? Comments/feedback please:)
They declare shipped items far less then other sellers so despite the premium on price you save on import fees.
|
|
|
Like HagssFIN says, an eBay listing for this item neither proves nor disproves anything. It’s an image from the website that anyone has access too, and the seller clearly states that their 20 units are on order only. If it turns out to be a Scam, the seller will have to refund the money.
The only thing that will add to the legitimacy of the project at this time will be an independent review. It’s just a shame no one on this forum is able (or willing) to provide one.
Ask voskcoin to do a review

On that note, blissz, can you confirm that you are redirecting mining pools for 90 seconds per hour? Is that correct? Thanks.
You can check the kernel log: it's actually 110 seconds and then two hours on your pools. So 1,5% Unless there is something wrong with my miners but they would execute the api within minutes of booting up then the accepted shares stop increasing and 20 minutes later i still see no shares my pools dont show my miners anymore so the api for the dev fee is taking longer then 110 sec. Hashrate is fine 100%. Happens a few times ive never bothered waiting for the dev fee pool to finish mining. I ve changed settings up down and default it dont matter. It just stays on the fee pool for too long or fails to change back. Havent used miners consistently for awhile maybe it mines the dev fee longer when u dont run the miner for awhile. Its an awesome firmware but its not worth losing all that time not mining. Uninstalled the blizz firmware, works fine now.

Are you guys receiving the right amount using suprnova XVG pool? I think its not paying right, like idecray.
Idecray finds more blocks more often because they have more hash power. So it may look like your not earning as often on supr.

Its not bad communication from Baikal its your lack of knowledge and research, You can still buy these miners from Resellers, look for them in these forums, I can personally recommend BITTAWM he is the most legit in these forums.
"resellers" - you mean people which sell these miners with very high profit without any add value? I dont like such people. so do I. asicminer market...8K$....crazy sheep... the less expensive i've read about was a group buy with itop. Its not bad communication from Baikal its your lack of knowledge and research, You can still buy these miners from Resellers, look for them in these forums, I can personally recommend BITTAWM he is the most legit in these forums. I have personally bought 30 Gaint X10s from him, He is my easy to go Plan B, (Buying Directly from Baikal is my Plan A). P.S I have also bought 22 Gaint X10s directly from Baikal. On the Giant B I have ordered 12 Directly from Baikal and I will order more from BITTAWM may be 2-4 depends, as pre orders are close now. Most of you are New here, we have been buying these miners for over year now, so we have our ways and we constantly look for any news from Baikal, weather its FB or Twitter or BCT. So stop complaining and PAY ATTENTION.
no lack of knowledge here my friend, i might be new to the mining stuff, but not new to buy stuff in general (and i am not crazy enough to throw 5K€ through the window on something i did not read enough...well maybe i am in fact ) i think you'll agree with me that buying directly from the company is always better in term of cost effectiveness, and this is what i tried to do. but Baikal do not communicate well at all, whatever the weather we're using, they do not provide the same level of information to the possible customers coming to them. (do you see the price of the giant-B on there website? on FB? twitter? when it will be released? shipped?) I tested it with few different email addresses, skype. they never answered/communicated to me about the price, the minimum quantity, the shipping fees, the VAT...just always typical messages that do not bring valuable information to move forward. and this, regarless if i asked to get such information. so this isn't a complain but more like a fact/report i am sharing, but i totally respect your point of view. so i am sorry pal, but truly this is bad communication. i might be wrong, but as a new here, i feel like everything is done by the sellers/resellers to keep the coins in the hands of the people who already have a mountain of it. you've been a new guy as well and i am sure you understand that new people can't all start by buying a farm of 30 devices, especially if resellers are doubling the price. and sorry if my English is a bit rusty, as you can imagine, it's not my first language You could have spent 10s of thousands of dollars having to buy the minimum order quantity direct from baikal when they were available for sale. Per unit it is cheaper than resellers. But your better off paying a premium from a trusted reseller if you want only 1 or 2 cause there is less risk in your total investment costs. Future estimated profits are not guaranteed.

https://i.imgur.com/iPyKOFI.pngMy miner seems to have a high amount of discarded, anybody know what it is? Or have a high number like mine? I'm on supernova pool if that helps. Discards arent anything to worry about , your miner just chose to favor newer work so it discards the old. Only rejects are what you need to worry about.

no explore.. coin with super hype ?
I am building explorer. It is build.. had to resync every block. i am reindexing all transactions in each block in the database. it's still long way to go. after that i will post url to public. after almost 8 hours i am at block 124157. hopefully it will be done in next 24-48 hours. Let us know how it goes please, we tried the same and it stops on block 501451. We even spun up a larger VM on our Azure cloud with 16 cores, 128GB RAM and 1.5TB of space and same thing. Same prob here, does anyone have the new b2x node list to fix this

Hello,
hope someone can help me out Baikal doesn't response "nice Support".
The Baikal Giant X10 I got doesn't work. I've only red lights on the board active. Ethernet connection is working and I can connect to the miner. But it doesn't mine at all. And I can't change the fan speed ...seems it's not recognizing it.
I thought the SD-Card has malfunctions but after formating and new flashing it's still not working. Fan speed can't be adjusted and the blue lights are not active only red one.
Do you know what to do? So long delays and now a not working Miner ....it's very frustrating. Baikal doesn't even care!!
Hope someone can help and guide for a solution.
Appriciate about any response.
Have you tried different pools and set the right algo
