221  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 23, 2023, 11:58:36 AM
The difficulty of finding a job is a factor that causes someone to get ensnared in making online loans. This has often happened. Several other reasons, such as an urgent need and not wanting to bother other people, are of course the main things for people who are trapped by online loans. Besides that, making online loans is somewhat easier than borrowing money from other people.
The negative effect is if someone continues to be involved in making online loans, it is likely that their economy will never be stable and will have a worse impact.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 22, 2023, 11:46:23 PM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!

Of course it is very risky, Coin memes are very easily controlled by a community and its price movements can easily be affected by the amount of talk people have about social media. However, even though it is risky, some traders actually try their luck by buying at relatively low prices and reselling it when there is Fomo or certain sentiments.
Behind all of this, of course, there are advantages and disadvantages, because some like it and some even avoid not investing in it at all
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: July 22, 2023, 11:26:56 PM
I have more interest in altcoins than bitcoin because they give more ROI, but we are not in a bull market yet and Ethereum gas fee keeps surging since yesterday, it is fair if you are sending ETH from a wallet to another but the real deal is when you plan to send tokens from a wallet to another, the gas is high and this makes me wonder what will happen in a bull market, because most of my tokens are on Erc-20 chain, what is a good way to be prepared for this?

This has been a complaint for many people for a long time, therefore most of the bounty hunters and project managers currently prefer the BSC Bep20 Token over ERC20 because one of the main factors is the high cost of gas and this is of course a matter of consideration.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 21, 2023, 07:08:30 AM

My question here is if airdrops and bounties are still good means of getting good tokens for free that can worth something some day as we wait for the bull. In the past bounties and airdrops used to be profitable and alot of people rushed them. Am not referring to bounties as in signature bounties that we have here. Am talking about websites outside this forum that give minor social media tasks and then pay in tokens.

Of course, it will not apply to all projects, because most of the new project developers nowadays only use the services of bounty hunters to promote their platform to be known by many people but cannot give prizes to the people who participate in it.
It is very likely that some Tokens will also experience an increase when the bullish trend occurs, and of course this can provide fresh air to the Token holders themselves
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 20, 2023, 06:59:39 AM
Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?
Been there before and end up just being backstabbed by my old friends. I believe I had shared the same story around Trading Discussion board before. It's really not for everyone.

Oh family members, don't even get me started in handling responsibility for them when you tell them about the advantage of Bitcoin as an investment and as a currency. You would be held responsible when they encounter losses.

It indeed creates opportunity. It's just like an open door for everyone.

This is what I experienced when introducing Bitcoin to family members, there was a family member who tried to invest in Bitcoin, he impatiently kept asking when he could get the benefits, even though previously I had explained how it worked so he would understand first, after a while he felt  so bored that he forgot the password to be able to enter the exchange site account he had made

228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still do business with them? on: July 02, 2023, 03:04:08 AM
What is the reason why you no longer trust them when they have declared bankruptcy and everyone's assets are safe? What they have done is something to be cherished, and we should thank them instead of turning our backs on them. But as far as I know, Bittrex is still operating normally, and they only announced the closure of the US market. So, for those who are using Bittrex but not in the US market, there is no need to worry.

Some individuals are funny, they'll prefer to trust a company that scammed them then rebrand with another scam and they'll still patronized that project and buy their tokens which is what most developers are doing with altcoins. They create new ones based on what's been hyped in the market like with memecoins and when it's not getting any hyped again they close the project or abandoned it to create a new one.

Bittrex didn't scammed anybody they made sure they kept all their customers safe and that behavior has to be applauded because many projects and exchange in the market can't do what Bittrex did. They have shown that they can be trusted and if they comeback in future I would consider using their exchange instead of the new ones that doesn't have any reputation.
Bittrex still has good faith in providing information to its users, this of course gives a good reputation for its managers.  There is a possibility that in the future this exchange will return with a better system update and of course old users of this exchange will be loyal to return to experience a more modern trading style
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: July 01, 2023, 06:53:29 PM
The many needs are the main factor why we cannot keep fiat permanently and intact.  Sometimes we have planned to set aside the money we have and even have a fixed nominal to save every month, but while we still hold cash, it is not stored or used as valuable items, it is likely that little by little it will be used because there is always an unexpected need

231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship between social media and Bitcoin on: June 30, 2023, 05:39:01 PM
Most probably most people heard BTC for the first time on social media, not on TV or radio. The generation today doesn't even watch or read news on news sites but on social media.

Totally Agree social media is a powerful weapon even kids nowadays watch phones like crazy, Im adult but yeah Im watching phone like crazy too Good news till bad news about crypto is on social media so that its why social media and cryptocurency is just like a friend

and become one of the biggest tool to promote new coin/token. even myself scrolling tweets to see some newest crypto news

Despite that most of us here discover bitcointalk through the social media or websites and google search of any related keyword that goes along bitcoin, this is a digital currency that has to do with diverse opportunities and people like the fact it's informative and educative, with the use of this same social media we can have the bad and good experience out of it depending on how we were able to utilize it for our own good and benefit, and our children should rather be exposed to this as well when we feels it's more secure for their age.

Agree with that, some people I'm sure know this forum from various social media with similar search about Bitcoin. Even though there are also those who know about it from colleagues around them, to broaden their knowledge about cryptocurrencies of course by utilizing social media, as well as new projects using social media as the main marketing tool to attract more investors.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 28, 2023, 10:28:04 PM
Opinions about trading and gambling I often hear from several people who think the way the two work is exactly the same, according to them the aim of trading and gambling is to multiply the money spent.
But in my personal opinion, this statement is clearly very different, most people who gamble get their wins based on luck and with a little skill, they risk their money by playing with many people or with the gambling platform system itself.
And trading itself makes purchases at prices that we set with the achievement of profits that we can measure by itself according to the achievement of the desired target
233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 28, 2023, 12:33:57 PM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?

Focusing on Bitcoin trading can indeed be profitable, but it depends on market conditions, and the best option that can minimize the risk of loss is to prioritize trading in the long term
If you decide to leave the main job that you currently have, I think it's an incorrect decision and very risky, because relying on day trading on Bitcoin is quite difficult to be able to make a profit
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2023, 01:02:05 PM
I am this close to making double of my money yesterday when I looked at my Bitcoin wallet, this was the Bitcoin I bought at 17k with two acres of farm lands I sold in 2022, I still feel very happy right now because of my decision, I believe that some risks are worth taking and mine is paying off, some people tried to talk me out of this, if I have keep the lands yes it could grow big in future, but the fastest growth of Bitcoin is far more enticing for me.

I am not trying to tell anyone to sell their properties to buy Butcoin, I have more lands that's why I am able to sell for Bitcoin, I think it's wrong having a land or two and sell because of Bitcoin, but if you have more, it's going to worth the risk, nothing grows insanely well like bitcoin does.

I am excited to see how 2024 and 2025 will play out, tell me, is anyone taking such risks with Bitcoin investment? Do you think I went too far selling something as valuable as lands?

It doesn't matter as long as you own a lot of land and sell it to buy bitcoins because you feel confident that the potential growth in the value of Bitcoin can provide multiple returns in the future and most importantly are aware of the risks
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: June 24, 2023, 08:21:10 AM
Litecoin is one of the potential Altcoins, therefore it is impossible for it to just die because it is still in great demand by traders and investors. it's just that the development team needs to be able to compete with other projects in order to raise its ranking.
However, to outperform Bitcoin will certainly not be possible, if the target is to become the top Altcoin ranking, of course, it still has the potential and hope to be able to compete with other Altcoins.

The competition is pretty stiff these days. There are so many coins out there with attractive features. If Litecoin wants to get all of the attention, the team is going to need to increase marketing/promotion efforts. It's all about the brand. Not the cryptocurrency itself. You can see how ETH is doing better than LTC, even though ETH has a much higher supply. VCs, institutional investors, and whales are all into ETH.

Suprisingly, LTC has managed to stay relevant in the competitive crypto market. It may not have much demand compared to other coins, but it's one of the most accepted cryptocurrencies in the world. Nearly every exchange has an LTC trading pair. It's possible LTC will survive alongside BTC and ETH for generations. As long as it stays decentralized, we should have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin

Ltc is indeed one of the alternative coins for transactions, the lack of transaction fees makes Ltc very popular with most traders, this is what has made Ltc survive to this day.
In fact, it's not only available on various exchanges, most gambling platforms certainly provide options for this type of coin to bet on

If only a coin that had been around for a long time had such a strong development team, maybe the current order of coins
1.Bitcoin
2.Ethereum
3.Dogecoin
4.Litecoin
5.Xrp
6.Waves

And other new types of coins
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: June 24, 2023, 07:47:53 AM
It is certain that being involved in a new project is indeed very risky, before getting involved you should look at the future mission regarding the objectives of the project so that you can minimize the risk.
Behind all that, of course there are benefits to be gained, if the project becomes successful.
Therefore, don't be in a hurry to get involved in a project, If there are doubts about the research we have done, it is better to avoid it and not continue it because it only takes time.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 24, 2023, 07:01:11 AM
Investing in Land property is the safest investment and can return quite decent returns depending on the situation and location.
Even though all types of investments can be profitable in the future, Land property investment is indeed the best investment and has no risk, the most important thing is to ensure ownership in a legal way
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 23, 2023, 04:01:40 PM
Someone who wants to start investing in Bitcoin, of course, must do research first, as well as those who have a lot of money, of course, will be careful in making a decision to start.  Apart from getting recommendations from the people around them, of course they will learn by doing research from various sources first.
Except, if the person has a lot of money but little knowledge and doesn't want to dig deeper into how it works, it will be very easy to lose the money invested in it.

And for those who don't have money like Op said they can only collect information from various sources but don't dare to start it then it can't be said much better because they are only rich in information but can't feel success with it
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 22, 2023, 09:31:37 AM
ETH is also one of my favorite Altcoins and still holds it today. The price of ETH still seems good enough to buy at the moment and hold for the long term. When Bitcoin reaches ATH then ETH will also follow suit. The top altcoins that must be purchased at this time and can certainly generate a lot of profit if they are able to survive for the long term.

Not much different from Bitcoin because this method is of course for the long term, not for making profits in a short time
Buying when the market price trend is declining is highly recommended for several types of potential crypto, one of which is Ethereum because this Altcoin is always ranked second after Bitcoin, the most important thing is that it can be used as a long-term investment which of course can provide many benefits in the future
