222  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: February 29, 2020, 10:15:11 PM
Please see the said campaigns below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228629.0

Maybe it can help lower ranks like you to find a good campaign.
You can also visit the services section and find a campaign that suits your rank since a lot of good campaigns are being held there.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 29, 2020, 09:45:28 PM
Not even before.
I gamble but not most of the time. The money I got from the signature campaign was being used for my own financial needs. I don't do the same thing as OP since playing on the platform I was promoting is like returning the money I received from them.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 29, 2020, 09:04:50 PM
first we should not be addicted to gambling , first thing we must leave is addiction , and have control over what we are doing and know how gambling is changing life we it is in negative way then definitely stop

what all points op said should be in consideration  before entering the gambling
Yes if we want to not destroy our life because of the gambling you need to not addicting playing.
Because the number 1 reason why gambler destroy what they have because they did not control while they playing and also they are greedy to the profit that can cause losing more money.
But it is also the hardest part of gambling, to avoid getting addicted.
Being greedy is already in the nature of a person, removing it seems to be impossible. The only thing a person can do is to stop for a while if they think that they are getting addicted, that way, they can prevent from digging their own grave.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 29, 2020, 08:32:30 PM
That's probably not gonna work.
Keeping a record will only make you more aggressive to get back those losses because you have the feeling of regret and your mind will push you to play more. Instead of realizing that you should stop when you see how much money you lose, it will give the opposite effect.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Post a gambling site by: Newbie. on: February 29, 2020, 07:58:46 PM
There is no need for this thing to be implemented. There is already a warning, since the start about newbie when they created a thread or if they sent you a PM, it says that "warning this user is just a newbie" something like that, that implies that you should think about it before you make your decision or act, which is indeed correct. It is our choice to trust or not to trust anyone on this forum, whether it is a newbie or not, anyone could pull a scheme here whenever they want to.

The point is, we should be responsible for every choices that we are making, if you think the post is a scam, then leave it, report it and provide a solid proof for moderators to shut down the account immediately and delete the post as well, in my opinion.
I do agree, it is already on our end to make fine choices. We should be able to determine a scam since we're in this community for a long time. The forum admins already did everything they are capable of to warn every user about the risk of having interaction with newbies.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with so many pages in one thread on: February 29, 2020, 07:12:26 PM
If a project has many pages and they keep very active does that guarantees the potential buyers a good investment with them?
No, it doesn't guarantee that they have a lot of potential buyers.
Remember that not all posts included in that thread came from every investor. Most of them is coming from paid endorsement and announcement coming from the progress of the project.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: February 29, 2020, 06:37:38 PM
This is quite a dangerous advice from OP or from that article.  Gambling is all about probability.
But having a winning mindset is important, I agree that the article is nothing but almost like a casino's appeal why gamblers should gamble but the article does point some good ideas which I agree upon. For example, I agree where it says - How to Look on the Bright Side
Indeed, winning mindset is important and we all have a winning mindset, who doesn't?
Looking at the bright side or being positive can help, indeed, but it won't even increase your luck to get the winnings you expected.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: February 29, 2020, 06:03:57 PM
If someone falls for this kind of stupid scams, then I am sorry to say, they deserve to get scammed. At least they won't be greedy or quick to jump into a fishy offer in the future. They will think twice before claiming such offers.
It may sound stupid for us who are already in this space long enough, but not for newbies because a 50% discount is typical to celebrate holidays for various goods and services. That said, these scammers are criminals who prevent cryptocurrencies from being widely used by everyday people. There is a strong probability that the victims wouldn't touch crypto anymore, and they could spread negative things about cryptocurrencies. This situation is terrible for everyone except for the scumbags.
Lots of bitcoin users are spreading awareness to provide newbies with information of what promotions they should avoid. It is stupid enough to fall for this kind of scam that everyone keeps on spreading, they should also realize that having a huge discount or if the promotion is far from reality is one way to confirm if it is a scam or not.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: February 29, 2020, 05:32:58 PM
It would be wise if this is how bounty campaign works in the very beginning.
But sad to say that it is impossible since this forum or the admins/moderators is not responsible to filter each and every project for the sake of bounty hunters. It is bounty hunters' responsibility to find a better campaign and avoid the scams.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 29, 2020, 04:57:52 PM
Today I'm thinking of selling my BTC even though it would be a big loss right now I've been with BTC a while and used to the volitility but this time I believe it's different
Are you serious? After getting used to it and realizing that it would be a big loss on your side, you're still thinking that way.
I was a believer in BTC and the future of crypto I believed having 1 or more BTC was a smart thing to do that many would look back in 10 to 20 years wishing they'd bought some when it was still obtainable by the regular Joe.
You are a believer, but you don't trust it enough. After its price suddenly drops, you are now thinking that it will continue further.
Now I feel that BTC will trend down hitting sub 1 dollars prices possibly even 0 over the next 12 to 18 months. the current coronavirus outbreak has been BTCs first real test and it failed hard and failed immediately. It's not a store of wealth and its failure to hold value in a economic down turn is spectacular and visible to all.  Today I think BTC is a failed experiment. What are your thoughts?
You just feel that its price will go down without any analysis nor investigation about where its price will fall in the next couple of months.

If you think that BTC is a failure, you will regret thinking that way in the future.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 28, 2020, 01:57:27 PM
If an airdrop is asking you to send eth to a certain address, you should suspect as a scam.
There is no legit airdrop that gives a coin in exchange for money. Airdrop should be free and was not distributed with fees. Don't be fool by their trick, avoid it as much as you can.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: February 28, 2020, 01:19:22 PM
Cryptocurrency is much better. It helps its user to make transactions more quicker, easier and efficient. You can make any transactions anywhere using lower fees. Another reason what I like the most is, it is not bring controlled by the government which avoids any conflict with economic and political issues. And also, the more people that uses crypto, the more its value will increase.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: February 27, 2020, 07:32:53 PM
Even, with the recent bear market, I still believe what you said. In the next six months, the cryptocurrencies  market price will definitely increase. 2020 halving will have a great impact on cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, bitcoin cash and bitcoin satoshi version (sv).

Not only you think that way. Many investor's are also expecting that this coming halving will really make a huge impact to bitcoin. Even if we are experiencing a bear market right now, it will suddenly increase when the most awaited halving will come. Many expected that by the end of the year, we will see how far its price can reach.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 27, 2020, 12:31:28 PM
No, I am already playing gambling even before, this is what I always do on my spare time. Even right now, I play just to have fun and to earn as well.
I gamble because I want to. It is not because I am participating on gambling campaign. I just use my experience to relate myself from different discussions when it comes to gambling.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 11:37:37 AM
$5,000? Really? Isn't it too impossible for ethereum to reach?
I believe that it is possible for ethereum to reach new all time high, but reaching $5000 seems impossible.

Maybe around $2000 to $3000 might happen, though it will take a long journey before it even reach that amount. For now $1000 should be its first goal before it increase further.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Found old wallet with 0.5 BTC on: February 27, 2020, 10:57:04 AM
I have no idea who the original owner is, I don't think it's been touched in a long time though. If I did know the owner I would definitely return it  Grin
Well, in any case, you can't transfer it since it is protected by a ledger. He is the only one who have the authority to that wallet. If only you know or you can find its owner, you will benefit yourself from thar BTC0.5.
It seems to me that this is generally impossible, since the owner of Bitcoin is anonymous in any case and it will be impossible to find it, and the other person will not be able to access this wallet.  How, like many other wallets that lose their owners, leaves the cryptocurrency on the balance unclaimed.  I believe that in this way a large amount of Bitcoin can be considered lost forever.
It is impossible to find the owner if OP just found the wallet file out of nowhere. But I don't think that he just found this wallet into his personal computer. The OP did not explain how and where did he find it but if he really knows any of the information, maybe he knows who the real owner is.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 03:15:33 PM
It depends on the person, there are individual that they work hard to povide their wants like vices or addiction that includes gambling. Those kinds of people are just thinking only themselves without any regret of using their money in any ways.
Even if they experience the difficulty of earning money, they still use their hard-earned money for their own accord.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 26, 2020, 02:21:18 PM
I don't really understand why people see bitcoin as betting. That's what most people believe; they have this mindset that investing in bitcoin is more like playing a bet. But is that true? Capital NO!
Because that is how they interpret about bitcoin. Common reason for that is because they just heard it to other people or through social media. Aside from it, sometimes even language barrier becomes the reason for this misunderstanding.
This misunderstanding turns out to be the reason to mislead the correct information.

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 26, 2020, 01:30:07 PM
I think the best way is to do some day trading,
Take some small profit to gain back what you've lost.
But if you can't do or aren't good at making quick trades then I think the only option that you have is to wait for the market to go high again.
Whenever I do short term trades I would take about 2-5% profit and set up my cut loss at 2-5% too.
Day trading is very risky, if you allso see the flow of the market, it is really hard to predict the outcome of the market, chances for you to take back your losses is really low. I don't think that this is the best way to take back your losses.
It is better to become patient and hold for the mean time until the time that your holdings will increase in price.
