According to dustcoin.com digitalcoin is 333% more profitable then all other crypto's. Why doesn't DGC show up on multipool as one of the more profitable coins?
That's because DustCoin has their math all wrong. They had the difficulty level for DGC off by a factor of 10X all day. They've also incorrectly listed WDC block rewards as 40.3 when it really 54. They have consistently shown WorldCoin as being approximately 20%-25% less profitable than it really is. Ever since the first time I saw it the website, about a month ago. I posted in the bitcoin forum thread. I hope they correct the mistakes. I see they fixed DGC but they haven't fixed WDC yet, and I doubt they will. To be honest I think it is a misinformation campaign? That way everyone will leave the WDC mining for those in the know??? I'm not just saying this based on their numbers. My GPU farm runs at 35MH/s and the money at the end of the day doesn't lie. That's why I go over the profitability myself, don't trust any site out there. Coinchoose seams to have the fewest errors of them all' that's not saying much about the tools we are all using here. There has to be something better, as much as I love MultiPool if they don't stop depending on these sites to make profitability decisions someone else will come along and do it right. Just saying, i'd like to stay here. Every time I look at CoinChoose it's posting some kind of nonsense and often lots of it. Now CoinWarz has the audacity to charge fees for their data and they don't even adjust for stales. These guys pull the data from the various blockchain explorers, I think. There's a serious need to increase the accuracy of the "profitability" data. It's high time to make Scrypt profitability relative to LTC. Scrypt miners are not interchangeable with SHA-256 miners.

When are you going to make Scrypt profitability relative to LTC ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) It's absurd to state Scrypt relative to BTC. Scrypt mining is not interchangeable with SHA-256. It's not a decision as to which class of coin a given mining rig hashes today, it's a decision as to which kind of equipment do I buy next. Is CoinChoose dying on the vine??? Most of the time the web site just posts nonsense values.

When ya gonna enable DMD and GDC ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) The order book for both coins is still pretty shallow, I think the profitability of these coins would fall once enabled on Multiport So we're a power to be reckoned with ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Mine it and they will come

Is CoinChoose hung???
It hasn't seemed to change for 2 days. E.g., UNO is always on top even though its difficulty moves like a sine wave.

This is by-design. Using the Quick Switch menu to switch to a coin disables the automatic-mining under Strategies. Since you have manually switched coins, it is assumed you are no longer automatically mining.
So I'll never be able to auto switch again??? Are you going to fix this major design flaw??? I'm not sure what you are trying to imply. You are the first person in thousands to see this as a major design flaw. You are free to request a different implementation (nicely). The whole purpose of Quick Switch is to disable auto-mining and switch all devices to a specific coin. There would be absolutely no point in doing this if the auto-mining is going to kick in in a few minutes and switch them all back. If you want to change an individual device without disabling auto-mining, right-click on it and select a different coin. Dear Mister Woolls sir; I clearly explained above that after using Quick Switch I pulled down the Settings/Strategies menu and checked the box "Automatically mine coin(s) based on Profitability." It did not make a switch for several cycles so I exited MuM. I then launched MuM and assured myself the auto box was checked and it still did not make a single switch overnight. This morning I used Control Panel/Programs to uninstall Mum and then I deleted both MultiMiner folders in users/aps. I then DLed your program and reinstalled it. I stepped through and setup only BTC and Perks worked. I added more SHA-256 coins and auto-switching did not work and Perks quit. With Best Regards, Mister Aurum

Can you post a screenshot? Maybe you need to click More details on the lower left? Perks does not display in More Details or Fewer Details mode. Disabled. Can you post a screenshot?I tried but I've never been able to get an image to appear in a BitCoin Forum post. If I knew how I'd be glad to. I have a jpg saved. [/quote]

Then I noticed that UNO had popped up and I didn't want to wait another 5 minutes so I clicked Quick Switch to UNO. It did not switch when it should and I saw that under strategies the auto box was now unchecked so I checked it. MuM is still not switching but stays on the last Quick Switch coin. I DLed another MuM 2.3.0 a while ago and it's still not switching.

I DLed and installed MuM yesterday and while I was running it on ASICs an update was offered and I accepted. I was vacillating between CoinWarz and CoinChoose and decided to switch to CoinWarz from my original choice. I was watching them both last night and was surprised how very different they often were. Anyone figured out which is best to use with MuM ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Then I noticed that UNO had popped up and I didn't want to wait another 5 minutes so I clicked Quick Switch to UNO. It did not switch when it should and I saw that under strategies the auto box was now unchecked so I checked it. MuM is still not switching but stays on the last Quick Switch coin. I DLed another MuM 2.3.0 a while ago and it's still not switching. I did not delete all my xml files before reinstalling. Also, I have Perks activated and at first quotes and estimated earnings were displayed but since QS they've vanished. What should I do to get it running right ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) If I click on a device I get a popup "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application." I just click Continue. Does this mean I did something wrong? When it autostarts on bootup it mines the last coin for a cycle. Seems it should check and immediately switch to the strategy coin. Is there a way to make the font bigger?

The most recent block solved by Multipool for 2 DMD (219665) is accurately paid out. But some of the early blocks are not accurate. So Multipool has to go back before they fixed the issue and payout those workers appropriately. 218338 - 30 DMD - Paid out as such to workers. UH-OH....Found a little "glitch". Block 217624 was solved by the ID for Multipool but looks like there is a blackhole in their payout blocks from 217479 to 217664. So did anyone get paid for block 217624 ( ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) , 217623 to 217610 (14), 217607 (1), 217605 (1), 217604 (1), 217602 (1), 217598 to 217592 (7), 217590 to 217583 ( ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) , 217580 (1), 217579 (1), 217577 to 217572 (6), 217568 to 217557 (13), 217553 (1), 217552 (1), 217548 to 217538 (11), 217534 (1), 217533 (1), 217531 (1), 217530 (1), 217526 to 217520 (7), 217512 to 217508 (12), 217505 (1), 217500 to 217494 (7), 217492 (1), 217488 to 217481 ( ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) All for a total of 115 missing coins!!! And this is outrageous!!!! Am I the only guy doing any auditing on the pools? MULTIPOOL ADMINS! What is going on?!?!?! You're just being a bitchy little girl ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Flound is as honest as they come. I trust him implicitly.

Hello. Around one week we almost all the time mained DGC, but other cryptocurrencies more profitable, for example right at this moment Diamond and Grand coin seriosly more profitable then Doge coin (check both plz, coinwarz and coinchoose). Please, explain why??
MP adjusts for stales and rejects. I do not think CoinWarz does and CoinChoose might. Flound explains it on the Help page.

Is anyone else getting really low payouts on DOGE? I am pointed 2 MHS at DOGE for the last few days and was getting a pretty decent payout. Its dropped down to about 10% of what I got 2 days ago. I don't get it ,my rejects and stales aren't bad 4% ish. Difficulty hasn't changed too much. The pool is still mining a load of DOGE, but I can't seem to get any of the action. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I am trying different different difficulties but no go. My DogEs are making quite a big steaming pile on Cryspy's lawn ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hi, i would appreciate if someone with more experience in pool mining clear some of my doubts.
Decided to try multipool yesterday, multiport pointed to 'doge' but at the end of the day i saw there are small parts of mnc and wdc coins in my balance. So basically multiport switched for a brief period of time to mnc and wdc, and than back to doge? If i want to avoid those micro switches, i can point to direct doge port, and if pool is pointed to the same currency it will be exactly the same as i'm on multiport right? It will be close to solo mining only if i point to some specific listed currency that doesn't get enough hash power from the whole pool?
And one more question, i see positive side of this pool in stability and security even if you know what coin to mine, cause you don't have to hunt down different dedicated pools for the 'altcoin of the week', but what is the downside of using this pool against dedicated pools?
It's all here: https://www.multipool.us/help.phptnx, help page is informative, but i couldn't find answers to my specific questions. yes, yes and I don't know.

Is there used a password or no password in worker configuration for cgminer, please?
What is the correct password for worker?
I do not see any settings for this.
Edit: Resolved. No password.
A pw is not needed for MP. I use "pw" as my password just to keep my cgminer config file complete.

1. Why fees are so high on this pool? At least for BTC mining, you should consider lowering it. This pool is great alternative to p2pool mining for small miners. Variance on original p2pool is pretty high (share difficulty), but using multipool could enable small miners to mine on p2pool again, through multipool.us. But, there is no incentive to do that, you don't pay NMC, DVC, D0C and BTC fee is ridiculous 1.5%, so hashrate is so low. No way I am gonna switch my 2.5TH/s to your BTC pool (or profit-switching pool), because I would lose ~2% in merged mining and further 1.5% in your fee.
2. You not mentioning anywhere on the website, that BTC mining is done as p2pool node. Why? What about other alternative coins, are they all mined as p2pool node payouts and then split between multipool.us users?
If you can't afford to switch why ask questions? Read the Help page.

yes this mobo supports 7 gpus
You simply have too look how many PCI-e 3.0 slots the mobo supports which is 3 for the GD65, and only 2 for the GD 55 and 45.
However as stated above the driver is the issue for 7xxx cards. Besides what ssateneth already stated you can also try the 13.1 driver from TECHPOWERUP !!! which for some strange reason lets you run more cards as well. (ssateneth stated that elsewhere as well)
Is there a reason for choosing 13.1 (TechPowerUp) versus 12.1 for Windows 7 or 8.1 ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

1. I'm trying to get an MSI Z87-G45 mb running Win8.1 to mine with 7 cards but it only mines with 5. Windows Device Manager recognizes all 7 cards. Any ideas on how I can get cards 6 and 7 to mine ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Use Linux, Windows doesn't support 7 GPUs. Funny then, why are there several motherboards made expressly to run 7 graphics cards??? Maybe because not everyone uses Windows? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Except the vast majority of the world. Well, since only about 1/3 of the world has internet access, I'd be surprised if a vast majority of the world actually uses windows - since I'm pretty sure that it would be incorrect to even say that a vast majority of the world even has a computer. I knew some grammer-nazi would whine about my saying people instead of PC-users ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I contacted MSI tech support and apparently it's the MB to blame. They sell the Z87-G45 saying it can run multiple video cards. It has three 16x PCIe slots and four 1x PCIe slots. One of the "PCIe" slots is really a 32-bit PCI in the guise of a 1x connector. I'm returning it for a refund as being SNAD. Has anybody tried the new ASRock BitCoin MB ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)
