221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale transfers $310 millions worth bitcoins for a ridiculously low fee!!! on: November 25, 2019, 11:19:53 AM
Bitcoin Whales seems to be in action despite bitcoin prices going downwards, and this particular whale just transferred $310 Millions worth Bitcoins for 0.32 cents, and yes you’re reading it right just 0.32 cents. Now open your bank site or any other money transfer site and just input a few thousands or few lakhs of dollars you wish to transfer, the transfer fee will blow your mind out.

What I’m failing to understand is why are we subjected to higher transfer fees when we transfer with fiat, why can’t our banks charge us lower transfer fees? Is it not possible for banks to create their own tokens using blockchain, and allow us to transfer using those tokens and thereby allowing us to have the lower fees advantage?.

What are your thoughts on the transfer fees, have you ever taken it up with your bank?. Lastly I believe the time has come for these corporations to stop looting us, and give us fair transfer rates don’t you’ll agree with this?.

I think that this person is really happy about Bitcoin just imagine how much would it cost if this whale would do it on fiat the tax or fee that he/she would need to pay.
Bitcoin really helps a lot specially in these type's of case this is why crypto is the cheapest way to send money to all over the world.
Small transaction fee and the transaction is so fast I think it is currently the best way to send money abroad.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 25, 2019, 10:35:53 AM
Bitcoin prices are dropping too much...
Is there a possibility of a rise in the future?
If you say yes, when will the trend turn around?
And how much will Bitcoin prices go up on end of this year?
Yes there is always a possibility of a rise in the future,
But there wouldn't be an exact date to when would the trend turn around because if we know it for sure we would be accumulating a lot before it even happens.
All of your question couldn't be answer properly because it is impossible to know what would happen in the future.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 24, 2019, 03:29:47 PM
I think we would still see it below $10K till the end of this year but I got my hopes high for it next year.
I really think that the next halving would make something great for the price and it would attract more investor or holders.
I think this would be the great time to accumulate Bitcoin since most of us are expecting so much from halving and it could drive the price up.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to PANIC! on: November 24, 2019, 02:56:57 PM
I think panicking when the price drop is natural even though we don't plan to sell our crypto we still feel nervous or something when the price drop.
We couldn't help it even if we trust that in the future the price would rise again we couldn't help but to doubt it when the price drop starts,
We would doubt it if it would continue to drop or rise again and I think everyone feels the same way .
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Never below 10K again... well that didn't stick - Food for thought on: November 23, 2019, 03:24:19 PM
Well we all make some mistakes and I also believe in those words but I think it is time to wake up from reality,
We have seen it reach $20K and still went down to $3-4K again so we couldn't really say that we would never see it again in this price it is like a dream and we want to stay dreaming but we have to face the reality and I know it is hard.
And it is just a good example that TA's words isn't really worth it so for those who are a die hard fan of TA's good luck with your investment and I hope you would learn your lesson soon enough that they are just like us,
They are just predicting the price so if they could do it then believe in yourself and try to make your own decision.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 23, 2019, 02:43:14 PM
Are you serious? You really think that Trump can influence the Bitcoin price? Get real, that makes no.sense.
It's just another conspiracy theory that Bitcoin users seems to love so much but there isn't any connection between Trump's statements on Twitter or elswhere and Bitcoin price moving in positive or negative way.
I am also curious on this one how could OP believe that Trump can influence the price of Bitcoin.
Just because of Trump's post on twitter and the price drops after it doesn't really mean that it is connected,
Just because Trump's a big name doesn't mean that he alone could change the phase of the market.
I am curious what would be OP's next observation what if there is another one who post a positive feed back on Bitcoin and the price started to grow maybe OP would see that person as a savior of Bitcoin.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 23, 2019, 10:51:00 AM
Ever had of a story of people who committed suicide or attempted it because they lost funds which is huge to them. Most of the stories are made up but also some a true and real.
I would never tell anyone to stop gambling come to think of it I gamble also myself but I will Ask we should be guided while doing so to avoid unseen calamity.

How can you control your mindset while gambling, this is really not easy I must say you are drawn to playing it over and over again it doesn't matter if you are winning or losing

Set your target~ before a days gambling you should have in mind what you want to win or what you can afford to lose its easier send than done I know but with constant practice you might just develop the mindset.

Get engaged in other things~ other than this helping out it can also fetch you funds that can be used for gambling or any other uses.

Have time to enjoy your winnings~ I don't know if its also happens to anyone, when you you gamble
And you immediately win a sum that was above your expectations if this happens you can try enjoying your winnings and then latter come back

Your mindset can be controlled is only if you put in effort into it.
It isn't easy to quit on gambling but if anyone wants to do it they could do it little by little.
If it is already ruining their life then they should just stop and find other activity.
It isn't easy to control yourself when gambling your emotion is your greatest enemy we become greedy when we win and also wants to comeback right after we lose everything to gain it back and this is what we need to control.
228  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 23, 2019, 09:58:23 AM
Congratulations for all of us who have been part of it specially for Theymos who have been doing a great job for this forum.
Although I only have been a couple of years on the forum this helps me a lot in managing my portfolio and may investment.
This forum is a great help for all of us we could find almost all we need to know in crypto, investment and trading we could also avoid being scammed because of all the effort of the users who are posting the scam projects.
I hope that this forum last longer and keep on giving out information's needed for newbie's and veterans and keep on updating us on scam projects so we could avoid them.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 22, 2019, 03:32:21 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
Well I do have control on my gambling activity I could easily stop anytime I want.
And if I lose some money most of the time I don't feel the urge to deposit more and retrieve what I lose.
Some of my friends who are still gambling have that urge when they lose their money they want to deposit more to gain back their money.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 22, 2019, 10:56:20 AM
I was just wondering if it is possible. What event or series of events could crash the price of Bitcoin to $5? What will you do if that happens?
I don't think that it would ever happen to Bitcoin ,
But if it does happen I think I would just move into another crypto the one that makes Bitcoin drops because surely if that ever happens some new crypto has taken over it's place as the king of all crypto,
And I would try to accumulate as much as I can and hope that it would come back to being a high price.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 22, 2019, 10:26:58 AM
If He Forget everything on purpose ?  Cheesy ( Like The genius for remember everything 10 years later everything he did making something he is alone able to see them ).

He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.

Imagine what he was able to do in 2008 already, when no one in world have the power to change the world, he was the one to believe he was able to start the revolution alone and change entire world by himself.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.
We don't really know if Satoshi would really comeback one day but most of us are really hoping for it.
I think the government wouldn't do anything to Satoshi as you  could see most of the Satoshi wannabe is still safe and sound.
And we don't really know if Satoshi is still alive right now because it has been 10 years already and we don't know how old Satoshi was when he/she created Bitcoin so he/she could have died already due to illness or being old.
232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: November 21, 2019, 09:23:21 AM
Is day trading for a living your dream job? Get another one – study says 97% of day traders lose money.

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3423101

Only 0.4% earned more than a bank teller.

You can thank me latter.
Yes I used to have that dream but I realize that it is so risky and one mistake could end it all.
I don't think that those people could really pull it off just think about it how much would day earn daily from their trades and the cost of their living expenses (bills, foods and also their transportation cost) ,
If they would only earn through day trading their capital would be eaten by their expenses alone and soon enough they wouldn't have anything to trade.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal Drops Pornhub Support, Pornhub Is Now Exploring Cryptocurrency Options on: November 21, 2019, 08:13:14 AM

Bitcoin HODLers might find this interesting.

Quote
A spokesperson for Pornhub told Motherboard: "Decisions like that of PayPal and other major companies do nothing but harm efforts to end discrimination and stigma towards sex workers. While we still have several payment methods for our models available, we will continue to add more sex worker friendly ones and explore cryptocurrency options in the near future."

Which coin would fit pornhub's business model the best?

Is it interesting how in this world where feminism and raging against "the patriarchy" is often encouraged. None of that rage is ever directed at payment processors like paypal who engage in what might be described as sexist and oppressive practices against women? Female rage is typically directed at stereotypical "nice guys". Never at those who are doing the actual oppressing.

Probably Monero or Zcash. Though if people were using paypal they weren't worried about privacy, so any crypto should do the trick.
I think there are some crypto that is connected to some adult stuff so I am guessing if they would accept crypto it could be a good thing for those crypto that focus on porn industry to grab it so they would gain more investors.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 21, 2019, 07:32:58 AM
I think it would be their fast transactions and also a good community a friendly environment or gamblers.
I usually avoid gambling sites which has a KYC policy and also the low house edge would also be something that we gamblers are looking for.

Bitz Reward Table  ( Updated 18.11.2019 )

This thread is showing you the current reward table, where you can see how much you earn per action.

Bitz per Posts / Reply / Answer

Bitz per created topic:  80 up to 225 (Depending on wich category)
Bitz per reply: 10 up to 115 (Depending on wich category)
Bitz for topic starter per reply:  4-35 (Depending on wich category)

Bitz per Visit

    Bitz per daily visit: 100
    Bitz per weekly visit: 250
    Bitz per monthly visit: 500

This would take some time.  Grin You should at least put up some considerable rates because too much effort for just getting 50k sats.

Why not pay the user with crypto directly rather than Bitz?
I think people would take it more seriously that way and also why not host a signature campaign in this forum so people would also be more aware of this new crypto gambling forum?
If they want to attract people on their forum the least that they could do is pay up with crypto that already have a value.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 20, 2019, 05:23:45 PM
Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

I don't really know how much would it take for me to leave and never return to gambling again.
Because I only gamble to have fun and enjoy my free time so I couldn't really give an accurate answer,
But if I could find another way to enjoy my time then I could just quit and never return again .
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 20, 2019, 10:30:21 AM
I also gamble with Ethereum because it have a cheaper transaction fee and there are some gambling sites that only accepts Ethereum.
But there are also times that I would gamble with other alt-coin if the sites give away some free alt-coin or there are gamblers who would give out some of their profit to other gamblers with alt-coin.
I would only use alt-coin if the transaction fee of Bitcoin would be so high since I am only gambling small amount I wouldn't to pay for a high transaction fee.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 09:42:38 AM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.
This situation is really bad situation people who doesn't really know you too well wouldn't trust you or vote for you since they know that you're a gambler and they would think that you would only use the people's money to gamble.
So I think if I am on that position I would quit on gambling and try to convince them that I wouldn't gamble anymore and show them why they should trust me by working hard.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you become a better or a worse person after you started gambling on: November 19, 2019, 06:11:08 PM
I don't really think that gambling changed anything from me.
I just gamble back then to enjoy my time when I am alone and doesn't have anything to do.
So it didn't really changed anything from me I am still the same before and even after I have gamble.
But if you would count the small time that you would feel angry or sad because of losing your money in gambling then I think it could only be the negative effect of it,
But it rarely happens to me only if someone annoyed me after losing a huge money from gambling.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 19, 2019, 05:36:51 PM
I use it sometimes but only the free tips I don't really want to spend money for it.
Besides I only bet on a game or sport that I know so I am only using the tip to compare their observation on my own and decide where should I bet.
