221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty thread with self moderated lock on: July 22, 2020, 08:44:57 PM
Sometimes the teams are scared of negative comments and fud that is why they use this option.
But i do not think it is suggested option, I mean let people complain or expose if there is something wrong and i think no serious project will have problem with that
Rather all good projects encourage the feedback and they should try to overcome the problems identified and be active and responsive this will boost community trust and will have a positive impact on the project.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 22, 2020, 08:11:09 PM
There have been so many posts on the forum suggesting that it is the right time to fill your bag, I quite agree but then, you need to fill your bag with caution. There are so many projects that are dead already but pretending to be alive using the bear season as an excuse for now. The team behind most of them are just looking for a way to dump on you trying to make you understand that they are working round the clock to develop the project, a project they have all the time to develop in the past but could not, now they want to develop, hmmm, what a way to full the people.

The bull run will surely expose all of them, trust me, some of them are smart enough to understand this and that is why they are trying every means to fool making unrealistic promises in order to dump on you.

My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?
I have learnt with edperience in the crypto market that majority of the people are not ready to give some time in research or analysis of the project or coin before investing, they either follow other people from social media or they just follow the hyped projects like defis are the top hype nowadays and you will see they are bloating and pumping everyday because people are just following this new trend without any research.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: July 22, 2020, 07:14:46 PM
Just stay positive I am hopeful that as the overall crypto market will improve at the same time new projects will also flourish and as a result we will also see new and successful bounty camapigns. It is like as more money will flow into the market the people will make more profit and then they will be happy to invest in new projects and hence more bounty campaigns will pay to hunters.
In last 2 years as there was low or no profits for majority of people in the market hence new projects struggled to raise decent funds and they failed even before starting and that is why many bounty campaigns failed as well.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON launches 3 new products on: July 22, 2020, 06:13:16 PM
Ive just seen this tweet from Justin

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1285506130618146816

They are launching three products such as

1. JustSwap a version of uniswap probably on tron network.

2. Usdj and jst yield farming sounds like a new kind of staking or reward based on holding.

3. Tron blockchain will launched on oracle.

Amongst these three I think the one useful will be the uniswap version for tron. But obviously this is another copy cat of whats defi system becomes a trend since uniswap are now booming for dexes that support most of the defi projects. Any thoughts?
I am happy that atleast this person is proactive and is following the trends, looks like he has strong due diligence and is aware of each and every happening in the crypto market so it is all good but i also agree that instead of coming up his own unique idea and products he want to go witht the trend by launching the current hyped trends.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on: July 21, 2020, 03:07:47 PM
Coinmarketcap now has a display for DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization.

It's just how they define tokens to be DeFi though, And do you think it's a complete list or something is missing? I think this is great though, specially for those who are not familiar with this new hype is crypto market, so good job CZ (although sometimes I think he is becoming too powerful!).
It is a good addition to cmc as defi is the new hype in the market at the moment and addition of specifically defi section in the cmc will add fuel to the flame.
There are some hybrid kind of crypto banking, wallet, exchange and lending kind of projects which can fall in defi category but somehow they are not considered defi may be because they are not completely blockchain based so i think in future they should also consider adding crypto finance category that include all type of finance related projects both centralized and decentralized.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wirex becomes principal member of Mastercard. on: July 21, 2020, 01:36:27 PM
Wirex company now becomes a mastercard principal member.

Based on this article:
https://wirexapp.com/blog/post/wirex-becomes-mastercard-principal-member-0206

Their CEO says:
"Wirex is proud to have become a principal member of Mastercard. It has always been our vision to empower everyone to enjoy the advantages of a world where all currencies are equal, and this membership is a step in the right direction.” Matveev believes this is just the start of a series of exciting announcements for Wirex, “we’ve been working hard to develop a cheaper, faster and safer platform, and we’re excited to announce some revolutionary advancements over the next few months that will change the fintech and crypto spaces forever”.

I think aside from the Binance Card launching many crypto related firms started to improve and add more development on the scene. I know wirex have some issues before but this news could change that and probably be a good news for all. Im not a wirex user but seeing some firms integrating and connecting more on financial system will help adoption grow and expand more which is good for the market.

What do you think about the news?

Wirex is a quality crypto company but i do not think that they provide cards for all countries this is the thing they need to work on fast because other crypto card companies some of them that i know like crypterium are already providing global service.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: July 21, 2020, 11:14:34 AM
Can someone make it trading only altcoins?
It is only possible in 2 scenarios:
You are very active online, great at fundamental and technical analysis with expertise at reading charts and using other trading tools for confirmation.
Secondly for a regular income you need to start with good capital small capital will not yield you good regular income with normal trading.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ROI coins offer a new era of crypto investment. on: July 15, 2020, 02:09:41 PM
ROI token purchase is profitable. With ROI, you can create your own assets.

The best part about ROI is that the amount of money you hold on the platform will automatically get new ROI coins depending on the number of coins you hold on the platform.

This means you don't have to spend huge electric bills on expensive mining operations, just put coins on the platform and win new coins.

Are you cool? Profit is instantly and continuously added. No minimum balance is required, and your wallet does not have to remain online to make a profit.

A coin that gives you triple hybrid capabilities:
   POW mining
   POS staking
   Term Deposits.

Staking term deposits whether or not you even have your wallet on.

Standard POS 15 %, 1 Month Deposit 2.40%, 3 Month Deposit 6.28%, 6 Month Deposit 10.65%, 9 Month Deposit 14.26%, 1 Year Deposit 18.07%.

Low inflation rate and great community. Solid wallet versions built for Windows, Linux, and MAC.

I know this is the best CPU minable coin ever!

For more info you can simply visit at  https://roi-coin.com

My experience is that even if the project is real and legit and its model is based on fixed returns, it can not survive and it definitely gives a ponzi like outlook especially when the project is giving reward in its own coins the value of the coins will keep going down continuously.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 12:26:44 PM
Everything with crypto keeps getting better, thanks to binance, the team and CEO isn't aiming for their pockets only but helping crypto in general, they understand how important mass adoption is for crypto to survive in future, now I heard binance card is getting launched soon, thank you binance and team

Another good news this year is about PayPal involvement in crypto currency, imagine how easier mass adoption will become if PayPal implement crypto payment?

I even believe that Decentralized Finance and Stable coins will play major role too

So far.....So good with crypto, at least we are getting some where, step by step, bit by bit
As a forward looking online payments and transfers based company paypal should have implemented crypto a long ago, now they are either doing this on massive public pressure or they are losing business because people are moving to crypto based wallets and payments online which is making paypal outdated but finally it is good to know that they have decided to come on board and this will be win win for all sectors online especially crypto market.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising low market cap altcoins on: July 15, 2020, 10:51:32 AM
Utrust with their already working product and good partnerships is looking great but they have to ne more active as far as marketing is concerned and the main aim should be to make more and more partnerships get massive userbase and so the transactions and revenues can grow on the platform. The project is on the right track with little more effort and strategies it can easily be a top project in coming months.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 14, 2020, 06:11:20 PM
Binance card launched in Europe, enabling binance users to convert and spend BTC, BNB, SXP, BUSD to fiat. Binance card worked like traditional debit card powered by Swipe Plarform. Balance on the card will remain to be in the form of BNB coin until the point of sale which users can convert it into either cryptocurrency or fiat.

Source: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/421499824684900740/Binance-Card-Launches-in-Europe
It is good to see binance advancing ahead in this niche and i think if they kept this pace the time is near when binance will be considered as a one stop solution for everything crypto related and that will be massive achievement.
But in line with crypto concept i think binance needs to launch truly global crypto card that will be working in each and every country of the world.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Ads on Coinmarketcap Legitimate? on: July 14, 2020, 04:19:38 PM
We often see coinmarketcap has lots of ads like advertisements that say give ETH bonuses and so on. Because now Coinmarketcap is owned by CZ, do they research that project or only accept money without doing research?
Those ads are mostly displayed by third party ad agencies like adsense etc so coinmarketcap does not have any authority over that directly and to be honest i have seen ponzis and fake mining programs being promoted there and i agree that cmc should remove those ads as they are making people fall for these scams because people think it is on cmc so it would be legit.
Cmc should come up and only place filtered ads and place direct ads rather using third party services.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eye opening advice about crypto projects on: July 14, 2020, 02:47:40 PM
There are many things I don't care about anymore in crypto projects

1. Algorithm
2. Max supply
3. Advisors
4. Analysts
5. Unknown or not popular partnerships

All these are just simply Hype creating shits, any projects that will attract me nowadays will do more than just these and again newbies should look into Utilities, big Partnerships and Top exchanges only, this is 2020 and lots of things have changed.

This is my eye opening advice since 2016
Nothing really matters for a new project because when you read the risk statement part of the whitepaper you would come to know that they are not accepting anykind of responsibility if the project fails so basic thing is that we should by now realize that investing in new projects is very risky and we may lose but the good thing is there are still good projects and with calculated risks you can still survive in this market.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth going for me? on: July 13, 2020, 03:59:11 PM
I am following PayAccept project - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5258011.msg54681210#msg54681210 for some time now much like others here. So I like to know few things and advice from people who already have idea of this project.

They recently made a Turbo sale, which was below 1-2 cents from actual exchange price and it was sold out within 1 hour. So unfortunately, there was no opportunity for me to think or do anything.

Now I just read on their https://twitter.com/payaccept/status/1282630910005972992 that they are doing 2nd Turbo Sale in few hours.

Please tell me is it worth going for??

Is the turbo sale private or public? and again how many partnerships that signed with this project? The reason why I'm asking is because I've seen their bounty Campaigns in bounties section of this forum, there is no information about the teams too, I'd say you becareful with this project
It's puplic. Have you checked the team part? I really wonder where you are looking to see team part?
Hi there,
Although i am supporting and promoting payaccept and i like it as a project because i feel it has real use cases and market needs the services planned by the project.
But as we all know the real token value was around 20 cents or 1000 pay per eth. So selling so cheap in the name of turbo sale will harm both investors and promoters because people who got in for 1-2 cents will make instant profit due to difference and they will rush to sell bringing the price down? Your thoughts and explanantion on this?
This turbosale price was a bit higher than the exchange rates.
I have also checked from official telegram channel of the project and turbo sale price is 1000 pay tokens for 1 eth which means $0.24 each pay token at current rate. And in IEO the sale price will be even higher.
So you as an official representative of the project here should clearly state that the thread starter is using wrong price data and his claim is absolutely false regarding 2 cent per pay token during flash sale.

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 02:36:36 PM
Hi, have you seen the recent hype around Dogecoin? It was caused probably by ongoing challenges on TikTok. When you think about it, it is really a great way how to make cryptocurrencies viral among young people.

You can read more about this trend here: https://fortune.com/2020/07/09/tiktok-dogecoin-challenge/
As far as i remember tiktok is just related to fun, entertainment and basically it represents an app class categorized as user centric media or social platform.
It was never considered a platform to promote cryptocurrencies but dogecoin used it and it resulted in considerable pump but personally i do not like such things as we should be looking at organci growth not just pumps and dumps.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase & Ripple ready for IPOs? Who else in Fintech will go IPO? on: July 13, 2020, 01:26:02 PM
Why ripple is looking for an IPO? I mean the company still owns most of the xrp coins and they can liquidate them as and when required so if they are solely looking to list for the purpose of raising funds then it is not really required while if they have wider intentions like boosting confidemce in their project for real world companies and mass adoption or for fulfdilling requirement of upcoming big partners then it is totally good step.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi and CeFi ratings on: July 09, 2020, 04:17:26 PM
For me nexo seems the better option because it has simple and to the point platform, regulatory compliance, insurance and good storage facilities. The only thing they can improve is to increase returns on crypto holdings i mean 4% for btc and eth a year seem low.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 09, 2020, 02:20:10 PM
People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins
I have personally experienced this and you can take example from a DeFi based project called synthetix network, after ico they re-branded and took lot of time for development, I have seen their token price struggling below 5 cents for months and now when they have launched all products their token value is also on the go and it is touching $3 right now which is great return considering the lows it had and all this happened in 2-3 years time not instantly.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50% increase in Doge coin price in just 24 hours! on: July 09, 2020, 01:49:31 PM
After Doge coin name appeared on the TikTok social network, the price of this digital currency rose by more than 50% in just 24 hours. Doge coinweekly price increase is more than 80%.

According to the script, Doge long-term jump came after one of Tik Tok famous users, James Galante, persuaded his followers to invest in the digital currency in a video titled "Let's Get Rich."

In the video, Tik Tok users were asked to invest $ 25 each in Doge coin and wait for its price to rise from $ 0.0023 to $ 1, in which case their capital will reach more than $ 10,000.

The video said:

Let's get rich. Doge coin is almost worthless. There are 800 million Tik Tok users. When it comes to $ 1, you get $ 10,000. Tell everyone you know.
Currently, the Doge coin is priced at $ 0.0043 per unit, with a market value of $ 534 million.

Also, according to Kevin Desk, the trading volume of this digital currency has increased by more than 2,000% in the last two days. On the other hand, Google's search for "how to buy dogecoin" has reached its highest level in 12 months.

The Doge coin with the abbreviation DOGE is a digital currency based on the Chinese blockchain that was originally made just for fun, but soon found its own fans. By reading the article "What is Doge coin" you can get acquainted with this digital currency.

What happened with doge coin, i am talking about the pump is solely due to tiktok activity which again tells the power of social media and hype in this industry but i am not confident that this pump will continue or will end up like a pump and dump. If this strategy from dogecoin proves effective i think other coins and projects can also follow this.
