221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Prevent been a crypto addict. on: July 12, 2019, 07:04:17 AM
The truth is everyone checking market is either a trader or a speculator. It's important and very good to make money in crypto if not, will be a waste of time and waste of funds. If you make enough good money from crypto, you won't see it as addiction or time wasting g. Untill you make massive gains on crypto, you won't appreciate the difference it has to 9-5 jobs.
No matter how much time you spend in trading if you make money it worth it. Trading has made many rich and no need to wake up early for work. You now decide you time and how to use it. If with my smartphone i am make good money what is the need of complaining  about time. Many people are unemployed and some are looking for jobs and you through skills can now maneuver the market to make profit at the comfort of your home is it not good than work for someone or unemployed?
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin is starting to weaken, is it now the right time to invest? on: July 12, 2019, 06:30:10 AM
Hello, all ..
Today I see Bitcoin experiencing a price decline of up to $ 10,075, do you think it's now a good time to invest?
please advise from Bitcoiners, thank you.
I hope you were able to buy then and you are still holding or have sold when bitcoin recover to $13,116. Bitcoin is a become comfortable above $11,000 for some days now and it is still in the best conditions for the year. Wednesday was bad for bitcoin but since yesterday it is like in a correction now and very soon we would start to see  another really. If you still have the mind for investing and you have not done that it is good you invest now before another storm again.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: July 11, 2019, 05:53:56 PM
Yesterday, Bitcoin started very well in the morning before the comments by Powell on libra coin , push the price down to below $11200 from $13,116 as at the time the news about his comments hit the media. Today he has also testified before the Senate and make a comments that should push bitcoin upward and you can watch him here: https://youtu.be/iSRfoBp_Fq0?t=622. I see this as a confirmation from him that bitcoin is as good as gold and it is here to stay. After watch this record on YouTube I have calm my mind and I will like to joined op to encourage us that the up and down (fluctuations in price) we see happening now had been there before and we just need to calm ourself as the storm will continue. According to Powell ”Bitcoin is a speculative asset” and as such we should not expect it to be stable for long periods of time.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 11, 2019, 04:06:56 PM

I think blockchain can replace mastercard/visa and not banks, bitcoin is a currency and not blockchain is the underlying technology that helps you send and receive bitcoin from each other (also other altcoins have blockchain too) and it helps sending something from one place to another just like mastercard/visa, so blockchain will not replace banks, maybe crypto will replace banks but then blockchain will replace the mastercards of the world? Who knows, I just know that its not bank like technology just yet, maybe instead of blockchain replacing banks the banks will instead start using more blockchain and implement it into their systems so they could work together instead of fighting against each other, that would be a lot better than fighting against each other.
A well saying sir! It is very good and important we understand the difference between blockchsin and cryptocurrency as most time many of us see it as the samething. To explain further on what you said or to put it in another way : blockchain is a processing system or technology and bitcoin is an assets like money and security. You can own money or bitcoin as currency but blockchain is just a system that allows you to hold, transfer and transact business with another party without third party involvement. Therefore it is not a bank but a system why Bitcoin or ethereum or any of the crypto-coin can replace bank in the future.

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market movements in early July. on: July 11, 2019, 03:13:43 PM
Well today seems like quite a big correction like last few days

The marketcap drop almost total of 10%
Anyhow it is pretty normal for the market correction

Anyhow i believe Alts will likely to move upwards this few month
It is a normal things that after a strong really, corrections do follow and that is what we are seeing now happening. We should not expect the market to keep going up and we must have corrections time to time as a sign of a healthy market. The traders are there to make profits and we cannot stop them not to do that and the only way they can do that is truly taking profits when things move in their favor or the market gained.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only safe haven currency is Bitcoin on: July 11, 2019, 11:38:28 AM
Bitcoin has been confirmed as the best safe haven currency in the world with the following reasons.

1) If they is a military war, someone can easily move out of their respective country with Bitcoin. Cash, gold, silver is much harder to deal on.

2) The only one Currency not controlled by a government or bank.

3) I will have to ask a general question? Why many governments are classing Bitcoin as a property & not a Currency.

My advice is keep buying Bitcoin and don't look back. Also, don't forget LTC.
I like to read posts made by the bitcoin and cryptocurrency enthusiast and it is always encouraging and educative to read their posts. Bitcoin happens to come out at this particular time because of how the other financial assets like stocks, currencies, and gold have failed the people. Bitcoin represents the type of money our great grandfather and mothers have in mind before introducing better systems. Governments and bank's control currencies are full of manipulations and bitcoin stand in the best grand to help the populace.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitfinex and Tether recent filling affects BTC Price on: July 11, 2019, 09:03:05 AM
The New York Attorney General Office submitted a report in which it accused Bitfinex and Tether of illegally selling and trading USDT as securities in the state of New York.

The recent filling show in detail that Bitfinex and Tether allowed top investors such as Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz to trade and cash in USDT until “early 2019” and that both companies opened multiple accounts at New York banks.

Will this affect the current uptrend of Bitcoin as most people holds USDT? If YES in which direction, upward or downward?

Further reading of the report is available here
If conversions from bitcoin to usdt has an issue in a big state like New York there is no way it will not affect bitcoin in either way as traders will opt usdt for bitcoin and in a normal sense that should affect Bitcoin positive that is it ought to be an upward trend and not the downward trend we are experienced since yesterday after bitcoin hit $13,000. Maybe some weak hand has gotten the news and are taking it  as a negative news against bitcoin .
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ltc pump before halving? on: July 10, 2019, 04:33:36 PM
We are less than 4 weeks before ltc halving on august 5. Do you think it will pump above 150$ before the event? I've bought some when it was around 0.014. What's your opinion guys?
From my observation, altcoins especially litecoin and ethereum are no long move independent of bitcoin again and there really depend on bitcoin for both upward and downward trend. Litecoin cannot just began to pump because it is halving if bitcoin takes downtrend. Bitcoin dominant is increased and we know what that means. As at this after when I checked coinmarketcap, bitcoin dominant is at 65%. However, if litecoin is halving and at the same time bitcoin in good condition then we should expect a very serious pump in litecoin after the halving.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Yusko: Bitcoin can go up to $ 30,000 without correction on: July 10, 2019, 11:04:01 AM
Mark Yusko said in an interview that Bitcoin price can go up to $ 30,000 without correction.

What's your take on this?
The way bitcoin move sometime, I do think that it is possible for bitcoin to hit $30,000 without any visible corrections. However, we should also expect the opposite to happen as it can also fall from the speculated $30,000 to $1000 without any visible raly. Currently, we have seen bitcoin pushing harder with any strong resistant and if that continues then we should expect bitcoin to hit $30,000 a few weeks from now.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Stop Loss Mistakes To Avoid on: July 10, 2019, 07:25:25 AM
This thread is very educative and I have read through the op posts and other comments made here and I hope newbies in trading will read comments on this thread too. Knowing how to place stop loss will enable you to cut losses before it gets too far and gets your entire account wipe out and also it helps you not to place stop loss that keeps closing your position before the real movement in the directions of your positions commence.  I have tried to be skillful in stop loss setting and it has  help me most time especially during the volatility and I am not with my system to take decisions on my open positions.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: If a pyramid runs forever, is it still a pyramid? on: July 10, 2019, 06:45:42 AM
It actually depend on what we see as a pyramid scheme and the law and monetary policy around the country of residents of the scheme. If a scheme is paying high interest that is more than the interest rate of a nation I classified such scheme as a Ponzi or pyramid scheme and at that one day it is going to run into problems and the governments might close it down because it is against the laws of the land.
I have seen many Ponzi schemes that lasts more than two to three years and people become comfortable with them and one day one thing will happen and you will see them close down and investors money will be at risk.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 09, 2019, 08:37:11 AM
I have no doubt in my mind, that we'll eventually see an ALT boom again, but project development needs to be on point. Projects needs to actually deliver what they promise.

2017 was all about hype and empty promises, too much speculation on ICO's etc. etc.. Don't think people is falling for that again, even though the human race is greedy like crazy, haha!
If i remember some good ideas i read in some white paper for projects in the past and see those projects developers abandoned the road map after raised great amount of money from the investors, I always feel disappointed!  Many project are not in good conditions todays because the investors has been left in the dark. As @Flux0x has said "the developers need to do a lot in other for some of the projects to revive"  if not some of them will soon be deleted from exchanges as there values keep going down against Bitcoin and usdt.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Risks Of Long-Term Hodling Alts on: July 09, 2019, 07:19:08 AM
  • You might end up holding dead coins if the project gets abandoned
  • You might miss swaps and end up holding worthless tokens
  • Delisting of coin/token and you miss the withdraw period (in case you store coins/tokens on exchanges)

Take time to follow news/updates on the coins/tokens you invested to minimize the above listed risks. Checking up their telegram/discord/social media once or twice a month will help.
Holding some coins especially those new coins that did not have any viable products and services is one of the investment decisions you can make and regret. I have over 100 different altcoins that i have been holding since may and July 2017. I did not sell them during 2017 altcoins boom but keep holding them with the mind that in no time all of them will appreciate and i will become a million but since the middle of last year all of them keep going down  and the majority has been abandon! There is no viable developments and some of the developers are now on another project entirely. It is not actually advisable to keep holding altcoins especially when you know there are dying.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: July 09, 2019, 06:53:06 AM
stop linking krypto with negative things, regarding misuse of identity is a problem for every individual, we should be wiser in giving identity, but so far I have never encountered a big case of misuse of identity.
He may not intend to do that but have wide imagination on what terrorism can do if their lay hands on people identity through kyc. Kyc can be through cryptocurrency, bank or financial institution and that is why, we should be careful with how we give personal information out to public domain as that can be used against us. Terrorism and terrorist can go to any length in gathering information about people and in turn using those information in doing their evils.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hesitate on: July 08, 2019, 07:18:37 PM
I heard bomb to token Worth's a lot now and they did airdrop in February 2019 I think ,but I missed the airdrop which I'm presently regretting after hearing how some make 1200$ from the airdrop
First you should not expect that it is every airdrop that is lunched in the crypto space that you will see. Jut has you have missed some, it has also happened to some other people.
Also, if you are not the type that hodl for that long, you could have sold it long time ago. So you never can tell, whether you will be one of those that will earn such amount or not.
I do like your views on this and we should know that many people has made money from airdrop in one ways or the other. A friend of my online told me a story ”of a guy that makes around $8000 from airdrop in 2017 to early 2018 because those airdrop he participated turned to huge money when cryptocurrency market experience strong bullish trend then”. I pick interest from this story and I registered with airdropalert were I see ton of projects offering airdrop. After participated in most of them it end up with few cent payments and I got frustrated and since then I am not into airdrop again.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a Dream... on: July 08, 2019, 04:27:56 PM
One day, I'll be able to buy daily groceries on OpenBazaar using Lightning Network. Looks like the first step has been taken at Farmer's Market, University District, Seattle right now...

We are having the same dreams and that is why we keep hope with bitcoin since inception tell now. "Lightning network" Is rebranding the way we do transactions and people have started to develop strong desired to do away with the fiat financial system we have. I told my son today that " time is coming when they are not going to be rated by how much they have in their pockets but what is in their online wallet and that time is close now than we think". This picture is going to be in many groceries shop as far as you have think it to be. "It is just the matter of time before this will happen".
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and Dumps on: July 08, 2019, 07:16:48 AM
im new to this and Im wondering about these pump and dump channels on Discord
Is this just a scam or is it possible to take advantage of a pump?
Why are over 100.000 sitting in these channels if this is a scam?
please send meg your experience of this
The owners of the group of the pump and dump makes most of the money and the followers do lose all their money. I will advise you to safe yourself from losing by avoiding such groups. I have been victim before and I have decided to encourage others to be careful about it. In 2017, many people lose heavily through the pump and dump activities at cryptopia and that is why traders and new investors see cryptopia as bad exchange then. All the familiar telegram group that are into pump and dump in 2017 and early 2018 are no longer in existence again and if it is something worthwhile there should still be there.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there an functioning Arbitrage bot? on: July 08, 2019, 06:16:07 AM
Trading arbitrage is not as easy as you think and it is very difficult to get a reliable one that really makes you profits. I have tried arbitrage trade several time without success and most time the limitations did arise from the exchange itself and most time the coins that creates arbitrage opportunities are either under maintenance or you cannot transferred from one exchange to another as it happening now GTO token at binance. My bot bought it at binance but could not transfer to okex for profits because there is a technical challenges.

Close Option Review: https//binaryoptionsfree.eu/review/close-option/
Are customers from Africa giving access also am yet to understand the concept here this those not sound like casino or games it's more like a lottery this post those not explain things properly. OP it's better if you can be more elaborate with your post
I don't think any binary options limit players from Africa. African laws don't prohibit its citizens not to play option and most of the options sites I have come across accept people from every country including African. Binary option is quite different from gambling as you are giving the opportunity to analyze the stocks, forex, cryptocurrency or commodity market and make investing base on your analysis. I have trade binary options with optick before and though it is very risk but if you have good strategies you will make money through it than forex trading in margin trade. I have read the reviews and this ”close options”may have a nice feature and a good management team.
