221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 30, 2017, 05:03:01 AM
I've got my 500,100 ready for when they finish the static chain and open up node registration again. Smiley  Nice move today.  Nice post clarifying the situation. We do live in a society where everyone wants instant gratification. If there's any help you might need on anything, this is my second favorite coin behind NEM so I thought I'd offer.

Thank you!

Join us in the Slack if you like? We will be passing 500 members very soon.

Heres a suggestion how about you actually have an invite slack link on your ANN. You know if you actually want people to join it.

Everytime i look at this ANN it reminds me of one of those old puzzle story books i used to read back in the day. The ones you had to work out the clues to find the hidden information..

Its that fucking hard to find it here.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 29, 2017, 02:52:05 AM
As part of the Community Board I can confirm that this is not the attitude we want.

As a believer in the tech and having no confidence in a leadership team that hasn't in over a month been able to make a fuckng website and ANN, a job than my daughter could do in one day, I can confirm you can fuck off too you incompetent noob.

Half the people on the slack said they heard about XBY though my posts, the same people that then bought and set up statics while you fuckwits can't do the simplest tasks. Go fucking make the website you useless idiot.

I'm starting to like this guy. I think at least he'd get things done. Just keep him out of a HR/PR role. Hey, were not all good at being civil and personable. Smiley  I shouldn't have had to dig through tons of pages of posts and youtube videos to be told that static node registration ended at block 50,000, and actually cost 500K instead of a million.. all that shit should have been in the ANN on the first post, first page of the thread on bitcointalk. I'm willing to cut em some slack though, because of the tech.

I won't be doing anything official any time soon. But this thread got 1500 views and maybe some will actually learn what XtraBytes is. You could read the ANN in the last month and still have no fucking clue what this project is....thats a serious failure of basic marketing. But i'm being lectured by a marketing guy that I'm the asshole. groan..
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs in this year less rewarding than the ones held in the last year? on: May 29, 2017, 02:43:22 AM
ICO's have always been a money grab even ETH. Its all so the team involved can fly around the world going to tech conferences and get drunk on the mini bar and fuck the local whores. You think teams needs 20 million dollars to sit in a room and code? lolololololololololoolololoolololol

Look at XtraBytes a coin with 10x the ability of ICO's this year and cheap as shit. Just like the good ole days when coin developers  had to buy/mine there own coins and actually had skin in the game to make the coin great. Now the big winners are the ICO team and average investors just pick up the crumbs after whales have taken the major gains from an ICO.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 29, 2017, 02:15:20 AM
"chords consensus combined with Static nodes" First time I heard of it, is this already being tested in some other crypto?

NO which is why this coin is unique, can't Millennials read anymore?
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 29, 2017, 02:06:36 AM
Why was a coin that was an ICO scam resurrected and developed? Why not just start a new project altogether? When I see a failed project sold at market for 30 satoshi's that then gets new life like this it makes me wonder. It is a typical and long running tactic for people to accumulate dead coins for the sole purpose of owning a large chunk of the supply, then resurrecting it to make a large profit. I am not saying this is the case here, but again, why not just a new project? Why risk the stigma that comes with the original being a scam?

It was stated a million times that at first this was to recover funds for initial investors. What could be more positive PR than turning a scam into pure gold?

So your logic is if the developer did a fancy ICO grabbed a few million dollars before he even had to create the project as most ICOs do, kept a huge premine back for 'development' etc that would be less scammy???

That's idiotic. My daughter if she heard that question would laugh into her Barbie dolls, you can't be serious...you just can't.

So would it be fairer if there ICO was dominated by the richest Whales who could buy the most in an ICO? Rich get richer? You like many are moaning like girls when the coins sit on Yobit as a far cheaper price than 90% of any ICO and they have been that cheap for weeks and weeks now. Thats fairer than ICO's as its abut who is smartest and well researched enough not who is richest enough to invest.

Hey listen up BUD!

If you think what we are doing is so easy... GO BUILD YOUR OWN coin....

Now do us all a favor and stop acting so crazy. Until now I have kept my mouth shut because the majority of what you have posted (on our thread) has generally been helpful. But now you are crossing the line. If you post any more bad mouth, angry, out of line posts on our thread, you will be reported and it will disappear. Calm Down Please!!

The OFFICIAL XBY THREAD is HERE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1864397.msg18538512#msg18538512

Apologies to anyone offended by this overly ____________ supporter of XBY.

Who the fuck do you think you are you sad old fart. If you want to show me my employment contract where I have to give a fuck what you say. Go on fuck off.

I made a thread, I talk about what I want and I don't have to do anything I don't want to. What in Gods name made you think you have some kind of power and influence over me? What are you going to do report my posts for swearing, another noob who doesn't get it.

Ps you are the most retarded handler of a coin ive ever had the misfortune to see. Your ANN Sounds like a geriatric Second hand car salesman, it's embarrassing. Lol This project will succeed in spite of you but certainly not helped by you. The best thing you could do for Xby is resign. Only the most incompetent of people posts a video showing their private keys....what a fucking moron. So I have to respect you? Hahah fucking funny.

BTW, you didn't build anything BUD! Borzalem made an amazing project and you failed at the most basic of tasks. I imagine. You will be long gone in a few years, no serious people will want you having any influence over an important project. It's like having fucking Donald Trump as the spokesperson for Bitcoin...isn't going to happen BUD.

@Kubrick calm down - there's no reason to attack everyone who asks a question

@European Central  Bank  The ANN page & information is in the process of being updated.  Once we've got that all sorted we were planning to focus on awareness.  However you have rightly point out - it is a grand experiment, which should impact how much any one person is willing to invest.

I got a reason, I fucking want to. I invest in what I want and I say what I want. I not part of any coins team, I have no responsibility to you or anyone.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 28, 2017, 03:16:13 PM
I sincerely hope you don't feel unappreciated.....I want you to KNOW you are unappreciated.

Do you honestly think if we solve among other things a coin that is so secure it solves 51% attack with no POW or POS... My hope is you don't invest and I come back to have a good laugh at you in a few months time.

i am asking straightforward questions based on publicly accessible information. you could correct that information, which seems to be wrong, for the benefit of all rather than jump down my throat every single time with a screaming fit.

recruit somebody else as the public face perhaps?

There are 500 users just like me as I'm not in any leadership role on slack after one month. Do you see any of them trying to tell you about XBY? They couldn't give a fuck about telling anyone cause they want to keep, the price down to get more.

Like I said I'm helping you and you are moaning like a little lost girl. Last time I respond to you.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 28, 2017, 02:56:33 PM
You are purposely twisting everything someone takes time and effort to inform you. I clearly said it could of been 1m but the community voted for 500,000. I'm done with you, please don't invest, we don't need more stupid people involved we already have a bunch of Yobit monkeys fudding daily.

Find a project that holds your hand more and gives you nice ICO pictures and bullshit, it seems you are out of your depth here.

still says 1,000,000 on the opening page.

you need to work on your PR. i'm starting to feel a little unappreciated as a potential investor. a stream of accusations and insults to straightforward questions does not inspire warm feelings.

It was voted on weeks back by the community, they is US. Be happy we chose the mid price, cause it could of been 1m for a node. Back then it was a lot cheaper is it my fault you didn't listen when I posted threads on here telling everyone about it?

can the defensiveness be dialled down while people are trying to find out more about it?

uh, it is 1 million for a node isn't it?

as is being emphasised by the developer himself and others, it's a grand experiment. i'd be willing to risk less on grand experiments.

I'm sure people will sell at different values but the truth is most expect this to be big and are holding tight. Personally why would I sell early if the developer can pull this tech off? I would be a dumbass if I sold under 100m market cap. A way it's still cheap, would you prefer it was an ICO that was already 30m market Capitalization?

Anyway nice FUD.

It's an experimental project that can easily fail and/or get passed up in an ever growing CryptoVerse. Why wouldn't you sell it? Nice try, no demand.

I don't see him saying he wouldn't sell, he said he wouldn't sell early. So are you saying this coin is shit cause it doesn't guarantee you will make money. And you think there will be no demand for a coin that solves 51% attack?  Loll.ololoololoololooololololololhahahahahahahahahhahaha

You fucking moron. Piss of back to your shitcoins, you aren't in the right place.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 28, 2017, 02:34:04 PM
a node currently costs $6000 if you're starting from scratch. that's one hell of a bet to make as far as i'm concerned. they need to lower the required coins if they want more people on board.

It was voted on weeks back by the community, they is US. Be happy we chose the mid price, cause it could of been 1m for a node. Back then it was a lot cheaper is it my fault you didn't listen when I posted threads on here telling everyone about it?

No one needs you to invest, you are talking like the project needs you rather than its an incredible project at an incredibly low price. I think the appropriate response should thank you. You've been in crypto all these years and you can't grasp the potential of this coin if it pulls off this tech?

If you can't see this is a scam then You are either more stupid than a bag of nails or you are in on the scam.

Which one are you?
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 28, 2017, 04:39:55 AM
Hello,

Can someone give me the link to the white paper please?

Edit

I only read the OP. Reading the latest post there is probaly no paper or explanation except code?

We are a young community run project working with no premine budget so all we do is largely volunteer....just keep that in mind.

If you dig into OP and thread and slack you will find more answers to the tech and also we will soon update the ANN with more tech info. The truth is once you read up you will realize there has been no time to write a whitepaper as the tech is still being put in place. If this was an ICO it's would be the same, someone has a set of ideas they want to build, they build a beta and then write a whitepaper explaining it in formal language. The problem is we didn't have that luxury of time so its happening in real time as we go along. Exciting but we all admit not you usual project timeline. And of course there are plans for a whitepaper in acouple of months or so when the tech is done.

I am not part of team just relaying information the community knows. The slack is very active and is where to get more info.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 28, 2017, 04:32:33 AM
Hello, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is that XBY does.  I have an idea but I'm not sure I'm correct.  So it's basically a wallet that allows you to keep your coins online with the same security as with a cold wallet?

Anything else?

Thanks!

Simply it's a new way to do a blockchain. Brand new code, no clone of another con. The focus is on security using fixed static nodes imbedded into the block in that are trusted and signed. This along with another virtual  layer based on Chords P2P technology aims to be fast, scalable and more secure than any other blockchain in in existence. The aim is to solve many of the problems other coins have. The first application will be storage but there are plans for other services to be built upon the coin.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is this board going to start talking about XtraBytes? on: May 28, 2017, 02:35:27 AM
Everyone is a tough guy on the internet. Despite that, this coin is the best chance you will ever have to make it big. Its a very unique coin, and i think its selling point is that its not a bitcoin clone and it does everything bitcoin or the other shitcoins have to offer much better.

I tend to agree... unless they release their source code and then 6 other developers decide to clone the coin and add a bunch of features beside.  I like NEM and I like Xtrabytes. I don't want them to give away all their secrets so anyone can come along and copy them. How do you profit from that as a business? How do you license your open source code out to other companies? Answer? They simply take your code and make their own version.  I realize open source has worked great for pumping altcoins, and bitcoin is open source, but bitcoin is the original.. there's much more competition in this space now.... it's time to take it to the next level, to find the next bitcoin killer (which I believe is XEM for what it's worth) and that should take a level of protecting one's hard work .. that doesn't mean completely closed source, simply partially, or even 2/3 open source, while protecting the parts of the code that set your blockchain tech apart from other coins.  It's hard enough for a coin to get attention as it is with 500 shitcoins out there, much less the added difficulty when a bunch of people decide to clone your coin's tech and start their own. Aren't there enough shitcoins out there?   If the coin can make top 25, then maybe open up the source code... maybe.... you've rewarded your investors thus far.. I guess it depends on what your goals are as the coin's development team.. do you want to license out your tech and have big aspirations in mind?  Do you care if the source code is simply copied for the good of mankind and to the satisfaction of the more anarchistic types who demand everything be open source because they don't trust the "establishment"?

As you know I'm not part of development team cause you are on slack so you would know that, i.e. You are a lying FUD spewing piece of shit.

Borzalem the developer is 100% committed to open source cause he wants the tech to help people not skim a profit like most developers and you.

Go away, I'm going to call you out on slack for pushing for closed source which will kill XBY.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is not Ideal, it represents possibilities. on: May 27, 2017, 06:16:46 PM
Three years ago or two years ago, if you asked me what Bitcoin is, I’d tell you it is the future of money. It is managed by the network, not by the government. Plus, it is private, anonymous and fast. It’s just perfect!
And Bitcoin is proved very successful. But it has inherent risks like anonymity, hacking,51%attack, double spending. Stop imagining bitcoin is perfect. No coins are perfect. I’d say bitcoin means more about possibilities, possibilities of expression of value. Before, I’ve been taken it for granted that the government should control currencies. But now I’d like to take a moment to think of the question:
“What is the nature and origin of money?”
by hacked, i only mean btc exchanges and by 51% Attack, i mean hash power is seen as by many the king in the btc world; and by security, Large Bitcoin Collider is working to smash open btc wallets. http://news.8btc.com/bitcoin-is-not-ideal-it-is-an-expression-of-value

Which is why XtraBytes a brand new coin which is impossible to hack and has solved the 51% attack that POW and POS piece of shit coins could only dream about WILL be the future.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 27, 2017, 06:12:54 PM
Trust me on this XtraBytes will be the coin that all future coins will be built upon, 100% secure compared to all this hackable POW...POS garbage.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rootstock Announces Release of Ginger Testnet on: May 27, 2017, 06:09:59 PM
The future will be built on XTraBYteS. A 100% truly secure coin compared that POW...POS piece of Shit.
