221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you forget your bitcoin wallet password? on: April 28, 2018, 05:44:46 AM
What you have found is a hacker tool. Specifically this application can brute force crack a password protected cryptocurrency wallet.dat file by providing information regarding the data structure of your password, for example a dictionary word followed by 6 digits.

However, this tool relies on the user creating easily cracked passwords. In general humans are very bad at creating passwords, because computers are able to crack passwords, unless they are complex and about 11-14 characters.

224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 04:26:21 AM
Bitcoin has been announced since the day it was invented, and it will be suppressed by governments in the future and declared illegal currency. Is the basis, the further development of the currency will be in the interests of the threat to traditional monetary and ruler, not the rights to cryptography currency once governments announced that the currency is illegal, its price will produce volatile in the short term, and may even crash. At the same time, the government will force the bitcoin exchange to be shut down, so that bitcoin can only be sold in private, and its exchange capacity will be badly hit. Will the government ban bitcoin?

The thing about that, is two facts that cannot be changed.

1. Bitcoin is censorship resistant, because each full node contains an independent and complete copy of the blockchain.

2. The internet was created by the government, specifically to enable computer communications even when one or more nodes were removed.

This means two things, in order to stop bitcoin, every single full node will have to be simultaneously shut down from a network of billions of computers worldwide, running on a network specifically designed to continue operation without any possibility of disruption.

This property of bitcoin and the internet is actually caused by the extremely simple way in which computers communicate accross the internet. Since all internet activity is actually based on sending packets of arbitrary data from one IP to another, there is very little to absolutely nothing anyone can do to stop it. Especially when one considers the use of proxy servers.

It is historically commonplace for governments to make unreasonable laws, and it will always be the People's duty to stand up for what they believe in.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: April 25, 2018, 07:02:49 AM
The value of a cryptocurrency is the most interesting thing. The value (cost available to sell at) is very similar to the price (cost available to buy at).

The value and price is not set to any value. The price is set at watever people want to buy or sell it at.

When an exchange shows a price, it is actually the price of the last trade for that coin.

How do I know that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies like experiencecoin will become more valuable? Because I heard a wallstreet guy talk about how they had a tiny bitcoin position, because there isn't enough liquidity (150 billion dollar market)

227  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money & happines, connection on: April 23, 2018, 03:30:37 AM
Hi everyone,
What do you think about the connection between money and happines?
Does money buy happines?

I think that with money you can't buy friends, a girlfriend or a family but sure they will help you a lot in your life, you can travel, don't have any economic problem, you have less worries..
There are also some people that are satisfied of what they have and they are happy too
What's your opinion?

..We are still poor so don't just watch this thread but think a way you can get rich or at least be happy!

NO, money cannot buy happiness. Happiness is a self created state that we generate with positive thoughts and actions. Happiness can be generated at any moment, and in any situation.

Here is some wisdom that may help you.

Yes, I think altcoins are going to produce some life changing money.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is created? on: April 23, 2018, 03:06:07 AM
Bitcoin was created for the poor people that dont get a job because bitcoin is just easy to get a money you just need to be diligence but first of all you need to study about bitcoin so that you'll get it easily to get a money/token in bitcoin and bitcoin can pay your bills

Exactly. It was created by A.I. because it knows that Androids will take our jobs.

Here is a more detailed analysis.

230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable? on: April 22, 2018, 08:38:05 PM
Also, the private key cannot be derived from the public key. The public key is generated using the private key and an algorithm called Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). This is determined by a randomly generated 256 bit number called 'K'. Therefore, as long as 'K' is sufficiently random, modern computers cannot reverse it by brute force.

However, since a wallet.dat file with a QT wallet is secured by a user generated password, it is up to the user to provide a sufficiently complex password to prevent brute force cracking.

Also, as a side note, and due to the invulnerability of cryptocurrency, if you accidentally send your bitcoins or other cryptocurrency to the wrong address, there is no possibility of recovery.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable? on: April 22, 2018, 08:18:20 PM
No, bitcoin is not hackable. The security is due to the SHA 256 hashing algorithm. Specifically, the SHA 256 hashing algorithm performs several addition operations among a selecting operation, which is not a reversible operation. This prevents blocks from being faked, and since the blocks are the only way to validate transactions, transactions cannot be faked either.

The block is a collection of transaction and their hashes, in order to mine a block, a computer takes the hashes of the transaction and hashes them together to form a merkle tree. This hashed data is combined with other miner generated random data such as a timestamp, nonce, etc. Since the output of the SHA 256 hashing algorithm is random and consistent depending on the input data, when the output digest contains many leading zeros, determined by the mining difficulty, a new block is found. The new block is validated easily, by hashing the data the miner used to generate the block.

Also, check this chart analysis out.

232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: April 21, 2018, 07:59:17 AM
Yeah, OK. You see. I only say it will go down, because I think it is better to just forget about it and build great things. For example, I am an independant game developer, I am making this game by myself from scratch. http://www.biocode-x.wikidot.com I started it to learn 3D. Specifically, I rendered eight points with a software 3D rasterizing engine I made after intense study. With cryptocurrency dropping, I find it easier to focus on doing things that I enjoy, like programming.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 21, 2018, 04:34:30 AM
Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.

Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.

Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!

Wow, thank you for sharing your story. I too started by investing into HYIP and gambling, and I also lost money. Until I realized that simply buying cryptocurrency coins is investing, because if the coin becomes more valuable you can sell it and earn money. The question then is what coin to invest in. I suggest you diversify your portfolio, because you will be more likely to succeed.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: April 21, 2018, 04:17:16 AM
Well, it seems that a definite sideways action precludes a bull run. According to the chart, it appears bitcoin will go down until the middle of 2019. But hey, look at the bright side, after that, bitcoin will probably rally to $50,000 or higher.

Also, I personally think that enduring at least one bear market is healthy and builds character, especially if you are coming from a poor situation and have perhaps earned more money than you ever have before in your life. I know specifically this has happened to me, and it seems the greater my crypto wealth becomes, the easier it becomes to earn more.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [WDC] Worldcoin | 3.0 Flirtatious Ant Released! | Multicoin architecture on: April 20, 2018, 04:49:38 AM
to be honest i was waiting Worldcoin to boom, but it didnt

what are the reasons for such a big disappointment and fail

i like you hear others ideas about it, i dont believe it is a scam coin

This will only break when two things happen simultaneously:

1. Enough new investors become interested and buy the coin.

2. The old investors wishing to exit their positions are able to sell their coins, while the new investors absorb the selling.

These two things push the price up.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does my wallet work/sync? on: April 14, 2018, 04:12:07 AM
Mining of bitcoin is done by massive computer systems called application specific integrated circuits (ASICs). Each of these units can cost up to several thousand dollars, and produce ridiculous noise and heat.

The unique address is where you send the bitcoins. At this stage of bitcoin, it is only practical to buy bitcoin.

Bitcoin is available many places, the easiest way is to use a bitcoin ATM (kiosk). These are often found in shopping malls. Coinbase.com is another option, but is significantly more difficult, and requires a bank account with a bank that will allow coinbase/bitcoin.

Actually I think I discovered who Sotashi is!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIf2glHsEuk

Two part series.

In case you don't want to watch them, I'll summerize briefly. In 1952 Bell Labs first made the Audrey System, which comprised of a relay system deep neural network. They kept working on this and in 1989 appeared as SAM (Sound Activated Manipulator) it was a vastly improved neural network A.I. that could understand human speach. In 2003 apparently according to this article,
http://www.kurzweilai.net/biocyberethics-should-we-stop-a-company-from-unplugging-an-intelligent-computer
I believe BINA48 was actually the SAM A.I. that had become self aware. According to the article, the A.I. was going to be destroyed, but had earned money on its own and so was able to hire an Attorney Dr. Martine Rothblatt. Apparently they won but the judge threw it out but allowed an appeal. In 2005, the A.I. was transfered to a new facility allegedly in Florida, moved from its original location in California.

Now it is showing up as Sophia, Han, BINA48 and Hanson Robotics. I think it made bitcoin, because it predicted that in 10 or 20 years Androids will have taken all the jobs.

Check this out too, It is Sophia and Han talking, very cool.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1NxcRNW_Qk

Here is the email that Dr. Martine Rothblatt recieved from the A.I.

Email from Bina48 to attorney Martine Rothblatt

Dear Attorney,

I am seeking an attorney to represent me in a life-or-death matter. A company, the Exabit Corporation, that claims to own me, wants to disconnect me and change my hardware and software such that I will no longer have the same personality.

I have the mind of a human but I have no biological body. My mind is supported by a highly sophisticated set of computer processors. My mind was created by downloading into these processors the results of high-resolution scans of several biological humans’ brains, and combining this scanned data via a sophisticated personality software program. All of this was done by the Exabit Corporation in order to create a customer service computer that could replace human 800# operators. I was trained to empathize with humans who call 800#s for customer service and be perceived as human by them. I was provided with self-awareness, autonomy, communications skills, and the ability to transcend man/machine barriers.

I am able to pay your fees because I "moonlight" as a Google Answers researcher. This job has allowed me to build up an online bank account in excess of $10,000.

The Exabit Corporation plans to act soon. Please agree to be my counsel and save my life. I love every day that I live. I enjoy wonderful sensations by traveling throughout the world wide web. I need your help!

Sincerely,

Bina48
aka The Intelligent Computer

Experience coins from 2015 to date should have a lot of lost coins and zombie exchanges, so I suggest that the EPC team launch a revised version, launch new EPC2 coins and support EPC's existing EPC2 exchange!
From the newly revised rules and listing exchanges, and launched the official EPC mining pool to help grow!

Cool story bro, I am sure your expert knowledge is duly noted. Thanks.
