an easy way to see your current total hasrate and the pools current total hashrate is to log in and then click welcome to go back to the home page

check out the chart there, it will show both and if you hover your mouse over it - it will show it in numeric numbers

2206  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 08:47:19 PM
iopq: your daily mining reward is ready. Thank you for mining with us for the last 24 hours and I hope to see you still mining 24 hours from now!

please pm or email me your Bitcoin wallet address and I will send you your reward!
2207  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 08:15:39 PM
they are not going to waste. I was adjusting some things on the server and I forgot to reset something. It was displaying your rewards incorrectly thats all - btw technically your reward calculation is just an estimate on any pool - it wont be set in stone until after the block is minted and confirmed.

In any case I thank you for pointing that out to me and its been fixed Smiley

2210  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 06:20:43 PM
Yes I am putting some more in-depth instructions on the site now, thanks for pointing that out to me

You can now point your miners to :

pool.bitminersunion.org port:8341

if your miners are currently pointed to the ip address you DO NOT have to change them.

Thank you!
2211  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 05:24:56 PM
YES!

Thank you!

If you click on the Statistics page you can see the "top hashers this round"

it will display your speed and everyone else's too

also while you are logged in - in the upper right hand corner it will display how much btc you have earned so far this round.

thanks again and dont forget after you hit the 24 hour mark I will be contacting you for a btc address to send your daily reward to!
2213  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 11:26:11 AM
Why do you require an email address etc. from your users?

All a pool really needs from it's users is a payment address!

If you then want to add nice features like idle miner warnings etc. just let them decide for which payment addresses they want these warnings (can be done in an account for convenience).

Anyways, no way I'm giving you my mail address on a signup page that misspells "Emaill[sic!]" and proportional is also just interesting for hoppers, not for miners.

deepbit requires and email address and they have 5000 g/hash sec speed....

but I appreciate your input as a matter of fact you can put in a phony email address and it wouldent bother us at all - we do not spam you or anything but if you want to get paid the .1 or .05 bonus right now I will need your email for security purposes.

Thank you for pointing out the typo, thats halarious we are using the Mining Farm open front end - I will have to let Xenland know about it.

thank you to everyone who has been mining ! when you reach your 24 hour point I will email you for a BTC address and your rewards will be on the way today!
2214  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 11:22:01 AM
FWIW, I tried it out and couldn't get connected at all...

did you point your miner to:

67.249.146.78 port 8341 ?
2215  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 31, 2011, 01:24:20 AM
what payment method would you prefer?
2216  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: thats it ive lost my mind! I'll PAY YOU to mine on my P@@L! on: July 30, 2011, 10:36:15 PM
We charge 0% FEES and we pay on a proportional payout system, after a block is solved you are paid for your proportion of the hashing and the pool will give you an estimate at the top of your screen of how much you should expect for the round you are mining in.

As far as the promotion

After I see you have been mining on our pool for 24 hours I will email you for a BTC Address and send you your .05 or .1 reward, so if you start now you could have .05 or .1 as early as this time tomarrow plus of course you will receive your regular reward once the first block is solved.

Not to mention our 5770 promotion

one lucky miner who helps us solve the first block will get this brand new XFX Radeon HD 5770 sitting on my shelf!

So c'mon and join the union!

2219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 30, 2011, 01:05:37 PM
after you configured pushpool compiler did you compile it? 'make' 'make install'

i was able to compile pushpool entirely from reading the howto at the begining of the thread.
and the key to getting the db to work is to import the correct .sql file so it sets up the tables it needs.

Pushpol and your front end will share the same database.

the port of the db that is in the server.json should be default for mysql
i did not have to change it for mine

I am not an expert but I believe you should leave it 127.0.0.1

you will send your miners to the local IP of the pushpool server unless it is coming from outside the net work then you will need to configure your router to send all traffic on the mining port to the local port of your pushpool server.
