Is it worth it to wait now? Old purse killed, the new does not work. Done everything to kill the coin.
Correction: The windows wallet is not working due to a float failure of DGWv2, DGWv3 is being implemented at the moment. Less flaming, more reading facts ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) - f0o Just a small hiccup ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The coin is not abandoned, but there was a falling out in the Flying V about a month ago. One of the main Mother Ducks decided to fly south for a couple of extended vacations since the coin launched, he abandoned his ducklings and his duties. A group of volunteers is still working on this coin part time. Everyone who keeps crying scam can quack off ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We spent about 20 BTC buying duck from miners and investors at cryptorush and c-cex already, and we spent 30-40 btc on building services and marketing for this coin. This latest round of problems has been caused by DuckDuckCoin being upgraded to QT5 for the mac build in February, which has caused conflicts for the developers to build the linux and pc builds since the hard fork. Finally, there was no promises that DUCK was going to to the moon, yes it was the intention of everyone involved to do as much as we could to make it work, but it hasn't worked the way we would like. If course we would all like bitcoin to be at $2000 right now as well. We are all speculators and know the risks of getting involved with cryptocurrencies. We tried a lot, we worked hard, it didn't work out the way we wanted. Duck actually has innovated faster than most coins out there... it's been used kind of as a test bed. We have talented people working on this coin - but unfortunately, the trading community didn't bite. We still have a lot of DuckDuckCoin and a lot of talented people associated with this coin. We have resources, but here's what we need for this coin to work: 1) Community 2) Traders If Duck only has a community of people ragging on the coin, and doesn't have an active traders group backing it ... well then it's going to be tough for the developers to prioritize DUCK since there's not much reward for them. Duck was one of the first coins to implement Kimoto Gravity Well Duck was one of the first coins to patch KGW timewarp attack Duck was one of the first coins to use QT5 build environment If people want to self-organize and take over the DuckDuckFoundation, we have backing and duck to give. This coin was supposed to be a fun experiment in creating a fun community of people who could grab onto something that was silly and light hearted like Dogecoin... something people could joke around with ... it was a self deprecating light hearted experiment... if you were late to the Doge party, you could join the Duck party. That can still happen, but we need some self-organization. Anybody has any way to reach these guys?

In C-CEX.com tell to me that the coin itīs down now and developers doesnīt tell to us nothing..
Anybody knows what happend now?
I make a deposit, but iīm waiting..
Thank you!
Did c-cex take the Market down? No, We did not. Wallet is working, but we have several complains about not received deposits. I wrote about 5 times to owner already. I can see him online every day in skype, but he don't think it is important to answer me. they are people on the old chain I bet .. people need to make sure there wallets are updated before they transfer coins ... any coin! but im not having any problems with syncing or receiving payout from pool. everything looks good to me. I transfered from pool bitember tuesday and all ok, yesterday nothing. I have the latest wallet, in c-cex tell me tat the coin itīs dead, that developers not contact with they.. anybody can contact with they to solve the problem? I have the latest wallet and not syncronice with duckduckcoin net. I donīt know what happend but a lot of problems with this coin. Thanl you! I just transferred money to C-Cex from my wallet and it worked out fine. I transferred it back and it took about 5 seconds. Are you sure you have the new wallet?

I offer one phicoin the first 10 member leave me a private message with their phicoin wallet addresses Less than 70,000 coins were mined to date and only around 580,000 will be outstanding. Prices go up now.
Vote for phicoin on Mintpal :https://www.mintpal.com/voting
Sympathetic Don't you think we should takeover this coin and update it a bit?

PoS Switchover is Now Set to Block 310,000 The EBT development team has decided, based on yesterday's DDOS attack, to move the PoS switchover up to block 310,000. The principal reason for moving the switchover from 400,000 is that it will require another five or six weeks to mine blocks 300,000 to 400,000. This time will allow perhaps a dozen successful DDOS attacks on EBT servers, targeting the PoW functionality we seek to end. We therefore want to reduce this time by moving the switchover up to 310,000. A full rationale for the early switchover is given below. DownloadsSource: https://github.com/argakiig/EBT Windows Binaries: Auto Install: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwGL9FkcBurEcDRCeXloZHg0MEU/edit?usp=sharingVirus Total http://tinyurl.com/kxdau8h (0/52)Manual Install: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwGL9FkcBurEX0ZTZ0xBbnlLQ28/edit?usp=sharingVirus Total http://tinyurl.com/mevwy5p (0/51)OSX Wallet:Disk Image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1Ybk40bTZncV8zWTg/edit?usp=sharingVirus Total http://tinyurl.com/ml33tz2 (0/52) Premine ConsiderationsUsing the same analysis given earlier, we estimate that the value of the remaining premine will increase by about $4 from this decision. A quick way to arrive at this estimate is to note that each halving period is equal in PoW reward to all of the periods that follow, doubling the previously estimated increase. DDOS AttacksWe believe that the EBT network has sustained numerous, if not continual attack since the morning of April 25. We surmise, based on analysis of the block chain, that these attacks are directed at servers and are executed by flooding the servers with bad blocks. In our model, the attackers hope that a server will accept one or several bad blocks and subsequently get banned when trying to serve these blocks to the server's peers. Figure 1 shows our model for the effects of these DDOS attacks. In this figure, the thick blue line represents PoW difficulty. Superposed on this line are blue pluses and red exes that represent PoW and PoS blocks, respectively. The results of a successful attack first manifest as a long series of uninterrupted PoS blocks (horizontal red bars) that terminate with PoW blocks, probably found by solo miners. Once this block is found, the PoW difficulty retargets at a very low value causing PoW blocks to be found very rapidly. A closeup of the Figure 1 area labeled "PoW Suspended (Server Ban)" is shown in Figure 2. We believe that PoW blocks stop during a successful DDOS event because the mining pools get banned from the rest of the network, and are unable to submit PoW blocks from miners. The mining pools then get on their own orphan chains. After the first PoW block is found in a DDOS event, the subsequent exceedingly fast blocks cause highly connected nodes, like mining pools, to crash from I/O errors. Fortunately, the correct block chain for EBT is maintained safely by the majority of PoS minters, who are immune from concentrated attacks. Thus, even though pools and other highly connected nodes may abandon the correct chain, the servers eventually be synchronized after the DDOS event has ended. Figure 1: Anatomy of a DDOS Attack Figure 2: Closeup of the Start of a DDOS Event![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpuu.sh%2F8F6tX.png&t=663&c=wwEarX4hHe-kzg) Understandable. What will this mean for the total amount of coins? (still says 250 million in opening post) Another question: Why are people doing these attacks?

As of blade, the crypto has not taken off, and will never take off (there'll be no inverters seeing it's 100% interest rate or 100% inflation a year) and PPC will die someday.
You just spammed this thread with text from your blog, which doesn't contain any data to support your claims. I have some blade and it's a slow starter, but pretty solid, indeed.
