2202  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Favorite Mining Pools on: February 23, 2015, 05:49:00 AM
I'm still looking for one. these are just my personal observations.
Ghash has really been the best payout for me. I think something is going on over there though
Too much hashing power to go such long times with no found blocks lately.

Eligius is nice but I don't agree with their dust policy.

Slush is old and not competitive with other pools anymore no merge mining, pool fee and too many 22 hr blocks way too often To stick there is just being loyal to an old pool these days.

btcguild fees are too high for the amount of found blocks; been on it for close to a month now and when I hit my auto payout I think I'm moving on.
Besides btc I have used all the other pools for months on end to get a feel for them.
I haven't tried the larger pools than these. Ghash is large enough and I don't wish to contribute to the centralization of hashing power.

I like old and reliable, but that's just me.
There are many pools in this forum doing giveaways and stuff, might be cool to join in on that mining.
every pool I mentioned is very reliable. They all payout albeit ghash at multiple times had issues with their auto-payout.
They are all good. I'm not here to argue either on who is better. This is my opinion and if you want to mine at one of the ones I don't like, well more power to you; it's your hashing power to do as you please.

Opinions don't matter on the internet Grin Joking. It all comes down to who has the best luck.

2204  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Titan scrypt miner with PSU's or any other high mh/s scrypt minor on: February 22, 2015, 09:41:57 PM
You should avoid those miners and get a SHA256 miner instead.

He is right, scrypt markets are always changing, Bitcoin isn't changing as rapidly other than the price.
2205  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Raffle #1 on: February 22, 2015, 09:27:31 PM
You can't create a raffle where you know the winning number regardless of how fair or honest you are or claim to be. Nobody has any reason to believe this. I wouldn't trust anyone here to do a raffle this way. You're going to have to create one where it is completely fair for people to even bother, but like I said initially even if you did I doubt you will get any interest.

I will try my best, because I'm one of those people that goes back to the drawing board and tries to find the gaps.
Also thank you for the tips
2206  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Liquid cooled IceCube 85-175Mh/s+ SCRYPT miner on: February 21, 2015, 04:50:38 PM
Interesting piece, wouldn't call scam yet. (But still pre-orders eww)

What kind of chips are there?
Any stats from a pool?
Would you let a trusted member of this community test it, once you started shipping?
2207  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] USB stick miners on: February 21, 2015, 04:40:42 PM
I could sell you my new Block Erupter Sapphire for ~ 13.00$.
You'd have to pay for shipping, though.

I'd offer at best $5/GH/s for block erupters
2208  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Raffle #1 on: February 21, 2015, 04:38:13 PM
If anyone is interested the number has been encrypted and posted.
The key will be posted once all tickets have been purchased.

Do you know the winning number? How did you create it? I think the trouble with these sorts of raffles is the draws can easily be manipulated if the process isn't wholly transparent.

I do know the winning number, I created it by using random.org then putting that number into an encrypted format. I know it is really hard to stay completely 100% transparent on the internet with raffles.

But if you are interested for example

To decrypt following message use https://www.infoencrypt.com
<Encrypted>
sgIhDQrQ0TiDKjf2dZ/7b6sEDEQ0PSBqjxZI49hlbQPhMGUH/v+4pBKiT6J4FKQ3rt6YKNeuw7waE+6g
DIoDrsVvvI0uBKrzTHYGkcxzLoCZ0mNw/QzcVByXVC/lxwBTI4SsF4dhdCkfIk6ac6ecrw==
</Encrypted>

You post the encrypted part into their system, then I give the password once all tickets are bought
The password for this one is: "password"

This maintains that the number is there, I know the other side of the argument is "what if you have an alt?"
Well I don't have an alt, because I think it is not fair to cheap people of their money and hard earned bitcoins.

Then one other part is "what if I scam you?"
That's the reason why I tried making it a small bet, small risk small return, to get some sort of reputation.
If it would make people feel better I would deposit the prize pool amount to that address.

Any questions or comments can be made and I'll respond ASAP.
2209  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Favorite Mining Pools on: February 21, 2015, 08:18:29 AM
Slush's pool is consistent in the long run, there are some pretty awesome block breaking days that happen, like 8 in a day....
2210  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BTC-Flow.com ★ Business Ponzi Game ★ 300%+ Return ★ Invest BTC ★ Referral on: February 21, 2015, 08:15:50 AM
How did this Ponzi thread get to 198 pages before a trusted user left negative trust?
As you can see this is the most successful Ponzi I've seen in a long time. And I feel that Ponzi need to be marked with negative trust only when they camouflage their scheme and claiming they are not Ponzi. If it is transparent there is no need for negative trust imo.

Well it was so successful because all the newbies here, I barely see anyone with seniority here.... And it is funny knowing that people invest into ponzi's like that

2212  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] USB stick miners on: February 20, 2015, 05:40:31 PM
Hello, just looking to see if anyone is selling USB stick miners.
I don't really want them for ROI, I just think they are pretty cool to have around.
If you have any for sale, message or post. That'd be awesome

Escrow is accepted, and I am looking for sellers in the US if possible for some flat rate boxes

Escrow, through a reputable escrow, and time stamped pictures are always nice. Maybe a zip code that the shipping is coming from is nice as well
2215  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I have amazon gift cards, want to buy btc on: February 19, 2015, 06:56:02 AM
these are accepted on amazon.com only.
no longer available though!

PS: here's a pic of the cash purchased receipt for all the trolls and timewasters on this forum !

They're not trolls or timewasters they're looking out for newbie scammers like you.
but you are 100% troll....why am I a scammer, huh ??
because I have cash receipts and I've accepted escrow ??
Name one person I've scammed !
How dare you call me a scammer? I've traded more btc in 1 month than you in your entire life !
GTFO !

Calm down man, you have to prove to people you have the goods, as there are ponzi scams, fake companies promising unicorn hardware, and a general greed to take money in this forum.

Be professional, by creating confrontation you are less likely to get someone's business.

Just my two cents, do whatever you want with that information.
