2201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: April 02, 2023, 05:16:29 PM
No matter how the name is been twisted, it is definitely same thing.
And what if in the case of finding a closure, one never makes any win but rather makes continuous losses, would you still advice the gambler to keep seeking for closure or would you advice him to pause and have a rethink.
Most gamblers attempting to find closure will make continuous losses until losing all their funds. It's important to advise a gambler to rethink about his game before he puts the idea of recovering the lost amount through finding closure, so we can prevent him from losing even more money in a worthless attempt of recovering money which has been already gone, due to seeing this terrible idea on a thread from Reddit, although I really don't think there is anyone unable to spot the difference between chasing losses and finding closure, because after all, it's quite obvious they express the same meaning on practice.
2202  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are a business, and you are the cash cow on: April 02, 2023, 04:02:53 PM
Banks are the middlemen between you and profitable investments. Instead of paying you a fair interest for your idle money there compared to the total sum of profit they make by investing it, they just pay you a small percentage, usually inferior to the yearly inflation of the country, while filling their pockets with the largest portion of the profit made. And unfortunatelly they are protected by the government and its laws.

If you borrow money from the bank, you are going to pay high interest rates, but you are forbidden from lending money to other people with the same rates the bank charges, under the risk of being considered a loan shark, a thief. So, isn't the bank a loan shark as well?
2203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage in crime activity. on: April 02, 2023, 02:59:35 PM
Many people in the crypto space have had this thought, It is why I brought up this topic recently on this forum for discussion; Could there be any importance and need for some kind of mild regulations? The general opinion that you can observe from the discussion is that before bitcoin will be accepted by the government, they will need to find a way for some mild regulations to be able to ensure bitcoin is not exploited and abused by criminals.
Yes, usually regulations by governments is the answer for this kind of question. However, some governments have gone too far imposing too strict regulations on their citizens, some even banning it from their countries. I don't know how efficient regulations are being to prevent the usage of bitcoin by criminals on their schemes, but I suspect it's not enough to stop them, because criminals are always improving their tactics and operational methods.

If they can't use bitcoin, due to the enforced regulations, they are going to use another cryptocurrency to reach their same goals. The point is that they aren't going to stop their schemes. So, it brings a question up: does it worth to prejudice and difficult the access and usage of average users to bitcoin in order to stop a kind of criminal activity which is unstoppable?
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2023 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: April 02, 2023, 02:27:54 PM
Good to see a new thread for the brazilian soccer championship
Will stick around to check the news
Do we have a bet for who will be the 1st, 2nd and third place or not yet?

I haven't placed the bet yet, and I don't think it's available at the bookmakers yet either, but the first place I think will be Palmeiras.
Although I am a Corinthians fan, it's hard to admit that Palmeiras team is superior to the others at the moment.
They have just signed Richard Ríos, who was playing for Guarani, and they have almost completed the signing of Artur, who was playing for Red Bull Bragantino. Two very good players.
And the fact of hiring only 2 or 3 players shows that the team is already very good and playing well. Not to mention that now there are players from Palmeiras in the Brazilian team and they must work even harder.
Palmeiras is undoubtedly the favorite club to win the competition and we have a lot of difficult finding someone who goes against this prediction everywhere we go. Even supporters of rival teams agree Palmeiras is going to win another edition of the tournament this year.
The 2nd and third places are still a mistery, though. Flamengo is quite popular and always a favorite team to finish on the top positions, but the competition must be tough for a selection of clubs considered to have a similar performance level.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: April 01, 2023, 11:11:38 PM
I've never tried paying something using bitcoin because I know that it's a way of its potential at some point in the long run as of now. The profit you could gain versus fiat is incomparable, so I always prefer using fiat buying anything, less hassle and much cheaper in my opinion since bitcoin fee is gonna add up to the amount you're gonna pay for a certain product.
To make purchases with bitcoin is only worthless if you don't replenish your portfolio from times to times, through DCA, for an example. But if you are constantly acquiring new portions of BTC, it won't be an issue to pay for goods and services with bitcoin, as it just mean you are swaping fiat into crypto to use it as money on the present moment, without prejudicing your long term profit potential.

The pizza guy who spent 30 bitcoins was mentioned, but even him shouldn't feel bad about it, because if he had 30 BTCs for a pizza, I believe he had much more for holding purposes... It wasn't spending 30 BTCs in a pizza that prevented this guy from getting millionaire through BTC and it won't be your daily purchases with BTC that will prevent you from profiting from the investment futurely.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: April 01, 2023, 10:50:38 PM
I think the devs knows the permanen solutions to this bots problems, it is hard to stop bots activities but if the developers doesbn't want bots on their gaming websites, they can do it but I guess they also need it to manipulate the numbers of users, that is what some of them use to show their stats to other gaming competitors, they can announced and bost of having million user but if you check very well, the real users might not be up to 100k playing game and they will be the quick to cry that users are stealing rewards, they want users and bots but afraid of how the rewards are stolen by users.
You mean games' developers allow bots to exist on their platforms to boost the number of active players considerably, consequently generating positive propaganda for the game. That is indeed a possibility, but on the other hand, fake numbers are never a positive propaganda on long term, because at some point legit players will spot this happening and will start blaming the game and badmouthing it on the internet's circles.

That is what happened to some play-to-earn crypto games and that is a good reason why they failed. Maybe developers think they are being smart for allowing bots to exist until certain point, but in fact, they are being foolish for killing the game created by themselves...
2207  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment: Good Debts vs Bad Debts on: April 01, 2023, 10:22:54 PM
Would you classify borrowing money to invest in Bitcoin as good debt or bad debt?
Well, in my opinion it's bad debt to borrow money to invest in bitcoin, because even though it's a profitable investment on long term, we don't know for how long you are going to need to hold your coins until bitcoin gaining more value. In other words, we can't specify exactly for how long you are going to need to wait until selling your BTCs for profit, what is an inevitable calculation when taking a loan.

Loan only is a viable alternative when you are able to determine how much profit you are going to make in a daily or monthly basis with the money taken, so you can schedule the repayment most accurately as possible.
2208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of bitcoin on institutions and global economy on: April 01, 2023, 01:33:26 PM
This is simply not possible for real, because the economies of the countries would become too volatile due to working around bitcoin. Therefore, susceptible to foreigner manipulation by rival nations which could manipulate financial attacks (pumps and dumps) much more efficiently than they try doing right now.

That is part of the consequence of using a currency of decentralized nature and it can't be reverted. Governments using bitcoin globally as official currency would turn our traditional economies a big mess, probably leading to more conflicts and chaos than we have right now in the world.
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 01, 2023, 12:41:40 PM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from?
Every promotions and marketing campaigns are actually investments made by the casino to collect more money for their business. If a casino invest 1000$ in marketing, through an influencer, for an example, you can be assured they are going to earn much more than 1000$ back through the advertisement this influencer is doing, that is, through the new customers and maybe even old ones who will come back to the house to play again due to watching the influencers' videos.

How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
You will get scammed only by scammer casinos which will deny a legit payment to you or which aren't provably fair on their games. Not every of them are scammers and you can check their reputation on this forum by clicking their official profiles or at reviews' sites on the internet.
2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your local gambling game that you didn’t see in the crypto casino on: March 31, 2023, 08:53:50 PM
You can share your own game below. Just make sure that it’s a GAMBLING GAME. Post the brief mechanics and add reference for the full description of the game.

Game of animals (Jogo do Bicho). It's similar to a lottery, but involving animals. Each animal on the spreadsheet has a series of 4 numbers that must be matched in order to select the "winner animal". Those who bet on that animal win the prize.

There is a local superstition claiming that to dream with an animal means it's going to be selected as the winner on the next drawn, therefore you should go for it. There were even parents who demanded their kids to narrate their dreams to find out if there was an animal involved on it, so they could place a bet.

2211  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 31, 2023, 08:38:07 PM
Seems like a long time for such a small amount, this is why most users prefer to use PRs in other ways. Anyway, it looks like you're happy, so congratulations.
It is always pleasurable to get something like this for free. The amount doesn't matter at all. Actually I'm not considering it as a savings. I received most of those RP from the hourly faucet claim. There is no benefits of keeping the RP after reaching 100k milestone. That's why I exchanged it into BTC.
Congratulations. 0,001BTC is a very decent amount to hold on long term. Even though you aren't considering it as savings, it would work pretty well if you were.

The benefit of keeping RPs above the 100K milestone is to be able to exchange more RPs for BTC without having to wait for another 100K accumulated RPs round to do it again...
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most likely category of people to become Gambling addicts. on: March 31, 2023, 08:33:00 PM
To say the truth it's hard to predict who is prone to develop an addictive behavior on gambling, because there are many factors, including hidden biological and genetical ones, despite the person being male, female, young or old. There isn't a perfect recipe to prevent the issue of addiction happening in society due to those factors and their variables, but thankfully what we know is that it's only going to hit a small portion of the total population, as history show us.
2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar Loses €1M in Casino in Just an Hour on: March 31, 2023, 04:50:00 PM
Liberty means that anyone can do whatever they want as long as they are not hurting other people. Neymar didn't gamble with anyone's money, he didn't lose anyone else's money, he didn't broadcasted it so that addicted people should watch, he didn't force anyone to watch, and he didn't lose on purpose to make others feel better about their loss neither.

It was his own money, his on computer, his on webcam, his own twitch channel, if YOU end up watching him and get a bad lesson out of this, that's your fault. You can't claim its unethical just because what he did put a wrong psychological thought into your brain, that's what you did, not him. I believe he has every right to do this as he wants.
Moreover, as far as I know he didn't make any deceiving marketing to endorse gambling in a wrong concept to his audience. For an example, he didn't lure the public to believe gambling is a money making method for extra income. He just played and showed his performance online in real time.

Of course 1$ million euros is nothing for him, but at same thing he can't be considered guilty for glorifying gambling for that reason... Each gambler has to know his own personal limits and that each person has different levels of income, therefore they can risk more or less money.
2214  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 30, 2023, 08:18:43 PM
Okay, guys so I have 500 RP's now and I need your opinion on whether I should be rolling them or not. The reward is dropped drastically considering the prices are rising for bitcoin and it means for every WOF I will lose that much amount of RP/Sat. I am not willing to get any GT or LT because for me that's really useless and never works. Even if I earn more than millions of tickets then also I won't win LT so that's out of the question. So now I want to ask, whether I should roll or should I wait for the bitcoin to dump again so that reward can go boom one more time. There is another factor that I want to add, whether I should wait until it goes 1000 WOF in my account. It's not greed but its patience and higher reward kinda stuff. Smiley
Do you mean 500 spins on the wheel? Personally I'm waiting bitcoin to dump to start rolling again, so I can earn 50 satoshis base reward. I used my spins till the last moment possible when the rewards were still on that range, but as soon as it started dropping to 49, 48, 47, 46, 45, 44 satoshis I just accumulated my spins, and right now I'm with 300 of them to be used. I think at some point a major correction in Bitcoin's price is likely, and that will be when I'm going to use all spins collected at once.

On the other hand, if my prediction is wrong, I'm really screwed up, because I'm going to get much less than 44 satoshis base reward per spin.

2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: March 30, 2023, 03:41:41 PM
I guess ludo game can be found only at minor online casinos, therefore we can't be assured about the legitimacy of such platforms to recommend them here on forum as potential places where you can deposit your money and play.

Anyway, it would be a great adoption for reputable and consolidated casinos' websites to introduce ludo to their games selection, mainly aiming potential customers from countries where this kind of game is very popular, such as India.

Another alternative game that has been a big success in some local gambling platforms I've seen recently is "Dominoes" game, do you know this one?
2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Tournaments - Ever Heard of it? on: March 30, 2023, 02:52:46 PM
you register to participate in the competition, you will be given the same amount of credits with the other participants, after which, you play at the slot for a specified time. The goal is simply to stack up as much coins as you can more than the others to be declared the winner of the tournament.
Well, it seems the rules are fair to every players if that is really how the competition works. Everyone having the same chances, that is, the same "tools" to work on the tournament makes it possible for every gamblers to win the final prize, doesn't matter how rich each of them is.

I have never joined a slots' tournament, but it would be very interesting to do it someday, considering the rules are as stated above, otherwise I have no way to compete against wealthy players having access to lots of bonusses and extra spins.

That the luckiest participant wins!
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone got more than 30,000 Dogecoin from Freedogeco.in on: March 29, 2023, 09:15:08 PM
It's a long time since I used freedogeco.in for the last time. The site was shut down a long ago, but I claimed free coins from it the maximum I could, I just don't remember exactly how much the rewards were and how much I had on my balance.

Was 30K DOGE the hourly jackpot?

Probably I had something like 6000-8000 DOGE on my balance, but that is including deposits I made claimed from another faucets. Unfortunatelly I also sold it very cheap back then. Thankfully, I swaped it for BTC, so it wasn't bad at all...
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 29, 2023, 04:20:11 PM
Okay, this is just dumb, yes it indicated that bonus rounds that depend on skill exist, but what skill? What are the specifics or rules/laws behind the bonus round itself? Other than specifying that it was a "skill-based" kind, nothing else appeared. There are a LOT of things that a "skill-based" indication covers. Honestly would have liked it better if it elaborated more on what criteria they choose on "skill-based", or at least, specify what it actually is for some examples.

In my own assumption though, I reckon skill-based means something similar to games provided in arcades? Since it's probably by far the easiest to implement in land-based casinos. If you're a fan of arcades, you'd probably know about fighting booths, rhythm ones, or even the most simplest ones similar to Mario or Tetris. If it was like that then it is rather interesting.
I also didn't understand this and I have no idea of what skills are involved on the process. All I see is that the called skill based slots machines have an extra bonus round mechanism to allow gamblers to raise their chances of profit a little bit. But I doubt there are arcade games' mechanisms involved on this process. The furthest interaction I've seen with slot machines is the possibility of choosing a card or secret icon from a selection of few of them.

Still, it shouldn't be considered a skill, since the result is based on pure luck. If you are lucky you are going to pick a card with a nice reward, if not, you are going to receive the worst reward or no rewards at all...
2220  Local / Brasil / Re: Quero vender Bitcoin P2P on: March 29, 2023, 03:17:07 PM
