it is only a matter of time ... before 1 nation state declares in full terms of the LAW that ganja is like corn or beans .. a legal commodity .. and when that time arrives #420 will be ... just a 'shitcoin' .. get real vice commodity has ALWAYS been the black label asset class.
Why would any commodity trader/producer use one of these coins over bitcoin, litecoin, monero, eth, or something else that has more than five users? @poptart because these tokens would be redeemable for a standardized amount of the commodity in the REAL world.

Without spending too much time to remove all of the orange, here's our 31-month market cap. Impressive. To upvote on imgur: http://imgur.com/gallery/jZva031-month track record of maintaining a pool of capital between $250k - $750k Has UNO past the litmus test yet? Yes it be nice to scale up to $1M or $10M ... and naturally this will likely happen ... BUT ... UNO is now a proven crypto commodity ... and proven decentralized/open community based management works. And we did it on the recordchain

We are at a very important and exciting moment. One big news about the Core development team: Pzjack has got a potential donation of 1 million CNY from a Chinese mining rig producer. This could fund three full-time Litecoin Core developers. And we've already got some good developers very excited about it. To accept and properly manage donations and build a great Litecoin Core research and development team, we plan to register a nonprofit organization (a public company limited by guarantee in legal term) in either Hong Kong or Singapore, where people speak both English and Mandarin and thus are good for connecting the western and the eastern world. Also, both have very good legal environment, very low tax, and extremely low corruption. In order to ensure that every cent will be used at important places, we will make our financial information extremely transparent. Registration information, bylaws, and financial transparency policy will be released soon. The one million CNY donation should be the initial funding of the nonprofit. We are also planning further funding sources. An extremely important one is miners. If successful, this would become the major stable funding source for the Litecoin Core team, and we believe this would become a game changer. Also operation of the nonprofit organization will be independent from the miners. As promised, we started to move the updates from the repository https://github.com/wangxinxi/litecoin to the official branch https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/commits/0.13-dev. We've already fixed 3/4 of the unit test cases in https://github.com/wangxinxi/litecoin/tree/0.13/src/test. The other half will be fixed within a few days. Code of the official branch is likely to be finished within one week. Then we will start to test it thoroughly. Another developer Xinrong just finished his training and has committed real code to the repository https://github.com/wangxinxi/litecoin. Congratulations & Welcome!

@smooth the flaw in the design is rewards via voting. The only way to make such a social network correctly is to have an objective reward system. Maybe true, but it would be a lot more flawed if 30K free scammed accounts could have significant influence. well there is the f/n IRONY ... humanINTEL can id real content ... amplify that and you win ... stick with linear math ... steem_power_down ... forever!

Has there been any recent public road map? I can't imagine they would be sitting still on the programing?
They are actively programming. The last major hardfork adjusted the posting reward by giving out steem as well as Steem Dollars and steem power for author rewards. The intention was to attempt to get the steem dollar closer to the peg of 1 dollar. Right now on Polo, the steem dollar is going for almost 93 cents, so i guess that is an improvement. However, now that the author rewards include liquid steem, that is probably exacerbating it bearish trend toward worthlessness.

The oligarchs are going to sell. Now, because there is not a line of investment bankers all waiting to purchase steem, you can't buy it with a credit card or with any standard investment approach, and there are no institutional investors in the steem itself that means the people that are most likely to buy it are the 7k active users. That leaves each active user having to purchase 145k steem to get us back to a $1 range. Maybe I'm a fool, but I don't see that scenario passing. https://steemit.com/steem/@aggroed/steem-keeps-falling-the-silence-is-deafening
