2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose? on: August 29, 2021, 06:14:00 AM
You are right and I agree with that statement because Investing in crypto without a strong analysis on a coin can make us lose assets during investment and of course by choosing some coins that have a pretty good project development can give us profit in the future when we hold the coin, therefore it is better we invest in some coins that have little risk and have a large community so we don't hesitate to invest there.

What do you mean by investing in coins that have low risk can you name one of them, is it possible to have coins with such criteria other than Stable Coin? then where is the investment value that shows great profits. As long as the coin has a large risk, there is also a so-called big profit. I only advise not to divide the portfolio in useless coin counts, or even with temporary coin prospects. So if you want to be safe, then Bitcoin provides it all for the future.
2202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Monthly target in trading. on: August 29, 2021, 05:55:18 AM
I appreciate what you are trying to do to structure the trades and have a detailed timeline. When and how long does it take for a month to take advantage of every day/week and every month.
But back to strategy mastery, trading analysis that must be mastered first, so that what you are targeting each month has a profit-taking distance with a percentage that is close to accuracy.

For me, because I'm not that type of person, then I prefer to hold long term above one month for various reasons, including lack of technical mastery of trading analysis, and the possibility that as a holder I don't put too much pressure on my mind. when I monitor the price all the time.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 29, 2021, 05:40:42 AM

Additional attraction that really bringing passive income to the house owner, the more patrons that keep coming back, means more revenues that they can earn.

regarding prostitutions, it won't happen inside as casinos who have permits from the government won't take that risk knowing that it can ruin their business once the government find it out that they are offering such service.

Well, casinos must comply with procedures in order to operate in areas that have been authorized by the government. Maybe outside the casino it's a different story. It's quite possible that sexy women actually take advantage of the gambler's finances after winning and can ask him out after the House casino closes.

Casino ladies while still working in their gambling houses have to remain professional and do their job accordingly.
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose? on: August 27, 2021, 04:54:38 PM
We all know that investing is storing capital for the long term in certain assets with the hope that in the future it will provide greater benefits. When you use costs beyond your means or force a loan to invest, it is highly discouraged, because investing with what you can afford is better off even if it's small.

The lessons we can learn from investing are learning to be patient, learning to save, learning to set aside some money for future needs, learning not to be extravagant at a young age, then learning to recognize the type or choice of assets that can really provide benefits. At least in your view can guarantee a brighter future. And in the future, you will reap the fruits of what you have sown for a long time.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addict on: August 27, 2021, 03:41:37 PM
I don't think you're addicted, but you just feel why you didn't know Bitcoin for a long time and bought as much, maybe now you can get rich and sleep on the sheet of paper called money. So it's a kind of depression that's closer to the things you should have been doing a long time ago. A strong desire as @obito said that you are obsessed with Bitcoin.  Grin
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling control on: August 27, 2021, 02:53:26 PM
How many times have we talked about gambling control? You can find it in the search thread for any of these https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5323180.0 you just have to search.

As for if I have to answer, gambling is just an object, so don't let yourself be controlled by gambling, exercise mental mastery, you are a gambler, you are in control of everything. As much as possible you will learn a lot from a defeat that only puts forward ambition.
2207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pacquiao vs Ugas rematch on: August 27, 2021, 02:29:46 PM
He wants to fight because he thinks he was not able to give his 100% in that fight, his legs were tight so he was not able to move well like he usually do in his previous fight, and we all witness that, so maybe let's give him a chance.
C'mon man! As you grow older, your legs will be tight most of the time Grin
Cannot give 100% is because he is old, and the percentage will drop along with the increased age. Last fight he gave perhaps 85%, surely next fight will be 80%, and keep decreasing.

Anyway, it's not only about the legs, but his speed is just not there anymore. I doubt this match will be realized. The only good thing about Pacman is that he didn't receive enough damage that lead to injury, he should retire while still healthy.

This is quite reasonable. As one gets older, there must be things that decrease in a person, boxers are the same, the body quickly weakens, vision is not as clear as an eagle, agility is not as fast as a tiger catches a deer, stamina decreases. not fit like when he was younger. Body stability is the most important thing. Age made him unproductive and allowed boxing to be continued by those who were still young at heart as his successors.

Manny has to save his health for next year's election, so he really won't be 100% physically, but mentally there will also be a slight change, it's just that we can't see clearly. The age factor chooses a fairly proven influence.

from me, TOP 2 thumbs up for Ugas so far.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 27, 2021, 01:58:10 PM
Gambling is a double-edged sword, it can be an alternative to giving wealth, it can also make everyone lose everything. either the rich or the poor.

No, gambling is not an alternative to gaining wealth. That's the first mistake you make that'll lead you down a wrong path.
Notice the second option I mentioned, meaning I mentioned two options, and you read only one option. I look at it from a two-sided perspective, if it's only one side then you don't like gambling.

I did notice the second option my friend, but I still insist, gambling is not a double-edged sword in this respect. It should never be seen as an alternative to gaining wealth, it should only be seen as entertainment, where, if you're not lucky, you don't get your deposits back but enjoyed it anyway. If you're lucky, you had fun AND won some money from it.

I love gambling. But for me, it can and never will be an income or wealth alternative. If I get lucky sure. But I can't count on luck.

You and he both have their own goals, be it entertainment or seeking wealth, it's up to how you respond to gambling. The most important thing is when you feel happy. Either happy because they are entertained or happy because they get riches. Regarding double-edged gambling, I return it to each of you who are adults who can choose and sort out what is good and what is bad for life.
Oh, most importantly gamble with your money, don't let you borrow it from friends. I think you can understand it simply.

cheers...
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 26, 2021, 06:27:44 PM
So what do you think? Are the poor being targeted or there is another explanation for the data we are seeing?

Now, I am even more interested in the result of any research that would be conducted to find out if there is any relationship between the rate of crime and age in the poorer UK towns with the most betting shops. As for the the just concluded study, the government really need to step up and act as quickly as possible.

On the other hand, the government will take further action regarding what they should be warning about, but how do the people there actually benefit from casino funds? does the government still insist on taking action that results in the closure of casinos?

I think the government needs to do some interaction or some kind of interview about it and get a direct response from the people living around the remote towns setting up casinos in England.
2210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's valuable information on: August 26, 2021, 06:09:31 PM
I'm really confused. According to my research we should keep patient & wait for the upcoming years. I hope price will be higher than this year

Research or speculation? if research then you provide references, analysis studies, data, and statistics. So if that's speculation you are in the right statement.
Bitcoin doesn't need to be researched if we can't do it, just believe me there is no such thing as a Bitcoin crash for now. We will continue and see the future of Bitcoin even better.
2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 61 year old plays the same numbers since 1991 and wins 18 millions on: August 26, 2021, 05:30:56 PM
My grandfather is like that and he passed that behavior to my parents everytime they are betting on the lottery.

Nothing wrong with the habit and no effect on RNG. It's just that, that routine is good for others as their own way of attracting luck by sticking and being loyal to their picks as they believed their efforts will soon be rewarded.

That also applied to other picking number games.

I'm not really a fan of betting on a lottery but I do know people around me that used to bet on the same numbers that they inherited from their parents or they simply called "a well-care lottery number" of them. Well,I do believe that there's nothing wrong by doing such thing but I do only concern about how long would they wait to have a chance to win such huge price from lottery. I mean does the money that they could win in future could cover up their daily bet spent on lottery what exactly I mean is that if we would sum up the long time or the number of days multiplied by their daily bet on lottery does their lotto winning money is enough to covered the long time daily spending of a lottery bettors?

Honestly, the lottery habit is still running in my place which is dominated by elderly parents, while young people nowadays bet more at online casinos. And the most unique thing is that the grandparents created their own casino community. I will illustrate how they designed the casino.

Example: 10 parents collect money for a whole month each have to deposit $1 per day, so every month they collect 10 x $30 = $300.

And it should be noted that their casino still uses the conventional system, namely by taking the numbers that have been provided in large bottles at random and the number that comes out is the winner.
The funny thing is, when one parent wins, he will treat all his friends who bet and celebrate the victory.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 26, 2021, 05:13:54 PM
When it comes to sexuality.........................
Why men ................................
Yes, I doubt that men would be more attracted .................

Well, that's the reality, and we need to remember why women, money, and gambling are something that can never be separated from one element?
What if the casino provided men's services accompany you? women replaced by men? do you still feel like you look fine. Therefore, centuries ago ancient Egyptian civilization, Mongol, Middle Eastern, European, and other classic/ancient casinos there were things that were not released in gambling and the above points seemed to be a mandatory component that should and should not be missed.
Believe it or not in this case we agree that the component is presented in the context of modern gambling, Well online casinos never go past sexy women advertisements.
2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 25, 2021, 08:28:08 PM
The most vulnerable remains the target because they are they are always carried away by get rich quick schemes as well as easy to get funds. Most wealthy folks don't go about gambling as a do or die affair. This gambling companies already know who their true customers are and also know where to get them and thats why they tend to flood rural areas more where people only struggle to survive.

Regarding that I have already said, that I am speaking based on the data of the articles shared, why am I referring to the article? firstly I'm not British who can't really tell what's really going on there, and secondly there's nothing I can refer to other than reading, so I certainly appreciate how speculation is about whether or not people agree or disagree with the establishment of the Casino.

If it can have a positive impact, I'd say it's good and it can lead to changes in the community's economy for the better, and if it's the other way around then who is the casino targeting here? Apart from that they make tough money and bet for 1, 2 or 3 times and then will be given a win by the casino.
2214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 61 year old plays the same numbers since 1991 and wins 18 millions on: August 25, 2021, 08:09:50 PM
A drive and belief over the years made him never give up placing the same number. This is a testament to how numbers that are often considered lucky give a profit at the right time. It even took so long every day to go to the lottery to make sure the numbers were holding.
For me it's not about the amount he gets, but the firmness of the value contained in it, how luck and belief led him to a sweet result.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 25, 2021, 07:53:47 PM

Yeah, the use of sexuality and sex as marketing tools has been around for a long time. But, it's not just advertising. We see it all the time on social media, in our politics, in our pop culture. The abuse of sexuality as a tool to garner more votes, to garner more followers, to garner more fans, and to garner more clicks...

We are constantly being bombarded by something for our attention, and for a lot of people, it is distracting from what they are actually trying to achieve.

That's right, because basically men are easily attracted to this kind of thing, especially when it comes to sexuality, so there's no doubt about it, using it to attract visitors. Online gambling even when we ask for help via online chat, the display and photos of the service team will use women's names and sexy photos. So all will be more attention-grabbing. Real casino gambling as well as online gambling all refer to using advertisements of such services as an inducement.
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 25, 2021, 06:43:53 PM
I think everyone should read the article the OP shared, and dig deeper into what's really going on. Based on the conclusion, I think some people don't agree with the establishment of casinos in the area, even there it is said that six to 10 are affected by addiction.

While the minimal economic conditions create some instability. The casino is being reviewed to gauge how effective this establishment is with the prosperity of the community around the casino. The Behavioral Insights team will soon conduct more in-depth research on the case. Of course, some argue that it will provide economic growth, the rest is still a question of whether this stance will continue and ignore the social problems of the people who feel disturbed.

As Carolyn Harris put it in the article said "It targets the most vulnerable in society, both economically and those who may have problems".
2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 10 casino sites on: August 25, 2021, 05:48:42 PM
snip

@Zilon What is this?  almost entirely is fiat gambling sites.  in this forum we already have many of the best crypto online gambling sites that are more legitimate than the sites on your list.  can you improve your list and include the source link!

It is just a random list from an unknown source IMO, maybe Zilon did a google search with the keywords as what he use for the title of this thread.
I did try with that keywords and I found this on the top https://www.gambling.com/online-casinos/top-sites
The listed casinos looks quite the same but with different position.
Too bad he did a random search blindly and he did not even care whether the casinos are fiat casinos and he shared it here in crypto related forum.

Even the OP didn't give a comprehensive rationale for more details, As a long time gambler I'm sure I've heard some of the names listed and visited just to try out the advantages of the site, as for the rest I'm really very foreign to know. We really need some clarity and why take a quest and add it in the thread without being backed up by an objective judgment. Hopefully no beginner will fall in love easily.
2218  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 25, 2021, 05:19:42 PM
I would say that if you are investing with the money you need, then you will always end up losing. This month I had to go fight fires, and wanted to take a vacation as well! So instead of a vacation, I went and fought fires for 3-4 days and then relaxed in a hotel to recoup for 3-4 more days, it was one of the most tragic moments in my life, honestly considered leaving it all behind and going to some small island to just enjoy life and forget about all of this hectic world problem BS, and not like that was enough, I had to purchase so many stuff for firefighting and then hotels were extra expensive because of covid, so not only I had a horrible month, but now I am in debt as well.

Therefore, when stability is sufficient, at least one thing we must need, namely good management mastery. When you are looking for fun and are sitting on an island, it means that you want to calm all the turmoil that occurs due to uncontrolled financial management that leads to consecutive defeats.

Nothing too serious, like just 200-300 dollars and that's it, I can recover that in few months no problem, but the reason why I have debt is because I wanted to help people put out the fire, I was already doing something good, and still lost. Did I cashed out my crypto during that period? No. It is still there, and not touching it.

Well, that's for you. As for those who do not have a level of financial stability, such a large amount to me is very valuable, the level of opinion regarding the nominal distinguishes you and me.
Even with 200 - 300 Dollars I was able to survive the pandemic for more than 1 month due to not having a proper job.

You know? that the words I have are too poor to express my gratitude for what I got from this forum, not only financial matters, but the knowledge I get everywhere. This word will be too difficult for me, what should I say in the forum, again "the words I have are too poor to express my great gratitude for being in the forum till now"

Lets say i want to sell btc today and reenter after months.

Should i keep money in usdc/dai/paxg(coldstorage) or shoud i split the funds   on bitstamp, kraken, ftx in USD.

Still want to sell your BTC today? Or is it still in the same condition as before? Look at the strong holder laughing to see you want to exchange it for USDT/USDC. If you still think when value stability lies in coin stability, then how sad to see Bitcoin price growth in these beautiful days.
Let's take the victory that in fact, lies with the long-term holders.
