I wondered how Julius randle and AD would have paired because that would have mean AD would play center for sure this season and I had always supported him playing at center position compared to power forward and I think its going to be alright.
With cousins last year AD was stuck at PF for a while but as soon as cousins got injured AD got to be center again and he beasted there. Todays' centers are not slow and heavy, they are quick and they needed a defensive power there. AD can hit shots, he can dunk, he can block, he can guard, he is the best center they can find. This season will be really good for pelicans.
I guess it will depend on their plays. Positions wont matter if they can effectively score and defend. Houston does that kind of trick and nobody sees it much for they are using fast phase game method. With that kind of gameplay the defending team tend to do the same and plays for the center or forward will be broken. I still prefer AD at PF for he move more and score perimeters. Star player like AD can immediately adjust from what he needed to play, both position can be taken and he's good at it, maybe if he landed to lakers they can use him as PF/ center who can play alongside with the type of lebron and rondo games, they all wanted to run the ball and always make surprise attack. |

Lol aines  . In all honesty there is still too much injury prone stuff in NBA, for example this year they made standing under a shooter a foul and I think Flagarant ? So that's gone, the game is focusing more on offense than defense and if its to stop injuries that's good but they have banned hand checking years ago and that was not any injury prone play at all yet it is more offensive now because of it. No one really defends each other that well anymore, players like Kawhi would have been the norm just 20 years ago yet in today's game he is regarded as the best perimeter defender out there. Not sure if its a good or bad thing but makes hell of an all star game . NBA needs to take care of its players, they need to make sure that the league won't lost a good player where fans are very delighted, it's no longer the time where the bad boys dominated and you need to have a guts like MJ to pursue your career, watching those old games from youtube we will be able to determine how hard to become a superstar before than now where you just need to keep shooting the ball and have a better percentage to gain the fans admirations. |

Not sure about that, I havent read the whole content lol. Im sure the Lakers will become a team to beat in the west next year, as they will be adding up pieces (including Leonard). If AD will sign to the Lakers, then it will be fun to watch the games between the powerhouse teams in the west. If that will happen lakers will be able to regain what they've really got from this league, though ages will affect the flexibilities of each players and new opponents will showed up having its owned versions of their super teams but it would be fun to watch seeing Lebron,Leonard,Davis with Ball and Kuzma, that would be a power house and very competitive line up. |
