2201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US ground operation in Syria. on: July 01, 2017, 07:00:39 AM
Ground operation has already started, not us soldiers still, but the government forces got Mosul and now they are attacking Raqqa with the support of US soldiers but fighting are only the rebel forces and the kurds. Looks like the end of ISIS is near, I wonder what will happen with Trump and Putin once ISIS is cleared out of the way. I am sure the rebel forces will ask for the fall of Assad too. It is going to be complicated to say the least.
2202  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is violence really the key to a drug-free country? on: July 01, 2017, 06:12:53 AM
It may but only temporarily. Look here in the Philippines, it's usually the poorer addicts that get shot. I doubt that would happen to the richer users, much less the manufacturers.

It is a big business, with several politicians and police involved. You can't fix the problem unless you get rid of those too.

Another thing is that it would be a never ending battle, so long as there is a demand. Like I always tell other people here, supply expands to fulfill demand. Get rid of a manufacturer, someone with capital takes his place, same with the distributors and retailers. Same with the corrupt politicians and police.

Violence can solve this problem only temporary. I think that the drug business has its roots deep in many countries of the world, it is not operated within the borders of a single country anymore. For example here in Italy drugs come from different continents, we get a lot from Morocco but lately Albania a small country is bringing lots of cannabis in Italy. Our government is fighting hard against this phenomena but it looks like it can't be stopped. Violence is no answer either, unless our government gives permission to officials like Guardia di Finanzia who is the authority to keep control of the sea borders and not let anything suspicious to come in, to shoot criminals.

I didn't know you also have a drug problem there. I saw an RT report earlier that you are closing ports to immigrant ships. If you are going to do that against EU policies, I suppose you can also shoot at criminals. Are your police also unarmed like in some EU countries?

They are not unarmed but they are not allowed to shoot at criminals until now. In Italy there is a lot of confusion regarding how to deal with the drug markets. Many many ships or small engine boats are getting caught with cannabis in it, but the owners of these ships are nowhere to be found, presumably they are escaping our guards. I think if the government allows the guards to shoot the criminals this would solve a big chunk of this problem but for the moment this seems like a far far away land.

2204  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: June 30, 2017, 02:08:08 PM
Same-sex marriage does not make any sense. Marriage is the union of man and woman. Hence "same-sex union of man and woman" does not make sense, man and woman are different sexes. Politicians have no business changing the definition of any words in the dictionary. As usual politicians like to stir up trouble and get society to fight among each other so they can tax more to solve the problems that they created.

A simple solution is to create two new words. One word that says "union of man and man" and another word that says "union of woman and woman." No fighting necessary.

As for adoption by gay people. A big no. Gay people can not procreate, simple as that. A straight couple splitting up, the child tend to stay with the mother on that basis that mother knows best. SO how can two blokes adopt? Researches showed that single parenting is terrible and created havoc in society and the welfare system. Children brought up by straight couple for the duration of their childhood are more balance and well behaved, due to having both mother and father inputs. Children who don't have a dad or mum tend to be problematic. So gay couple should not adopt or use any other means to have a child at all.

Since few gay couple have had children there is not enough data to make any meaningful study to the long-term effect. However we can look at single parenting and extrapolate the effects. However recently a gay couple had two grown up children adopted in the late 1990s. One hated their so-called dads and hated the fact they never had a mother. I expect more of that in the future.

I am very very happy to have a great family of mum and dad, sisters and brothers, and so on, and no loony leftie degenerate in my upbringing. I would not deny any innocent child the same pleasure that i had. Putting any child with gay couple just to satisfy their dogma and political correctness is child abuse.

What is the impact to your life if gay marriage is legal vs. illegal?

What is the impact to your life if gay couples adopt children after being vetted?

There is no impact, and you have no authority to change anything.  So why try to control the lives of other people when it makes no difference to you?

Simple a matter of English language standard.

Not talking about my life but the life of an innocent child.

The word "impact" is irrelevant. I didn't use it. Who has authority? You, politicians, gay people? What about the child's natural rights to natural life free from harm. Who then speaks for the child? You are an idiot. You think it is about me. It isn't, it is about the child. Who then has the right to exercise control over a child well-being, since a child does not have sufficient intellect to take control?

Excellent colour coding.

I definitely don't have any authority.  Gay people don't have authority either.  Government does have authority and controls your freedom.

So you think that every gay parent is terrible and every straight parent is amazing?  I could ask you what about the child's right to having a natural life that is free from harm with straight parents?  Do you not know children that were abused by their parents who are straight?  Don't you know kids that turned into sociopaths with straight parents?  You do know that serial killers have straight parents right?  Why aren't you standing up for those children?  Seems like you care so much about the kids right?  Not just homophobic?

I think every gay parent is terrible because being gay is a fatal disease which cannot be cured. Every straight parent I am not saying is perfect but surely is better suited to raise a child rather than a gay parent. Here in Italy is being done a lot in favor of the gays but I spit on them, the worst cancer of our society. Cancer needs to be cured. I am totally against same sex marriage.
2205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: philosophical question on: June 30, 2017, 01:41:42 PM
Slavery is always bad. No one has the right to decide for any other human being life. That concept is from the middle ages and I find it strange there are people here mentioning it like it is something good, this is shocking to say the least. In South Africa life has improved considerably and I have a few friends studying there which only speaks good about Johannesburg.

However real slavery is right now in our days where the employer do not give a damn for the employee , he wants to use it even more than a slave, that is what capitalism is unfortunately.
2206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The fatal error of Stalin, which saved the world on: June 30, 2017, 01:22:14 PM
Stalin didn't made any error, the error was from the German side. After having conquer most of Europe in the second World War they thought they could conquer Russia. The problem was that Germans could not deal with the rough winter, very common in Russia for the Russian army and very uncommon for the Germans. That was the key that decided that Russia won the world war 2 and they every year make a parade in Moscow to celebrate that.

2208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is bitcoin a religion? on: June 30, 2017, 08:48:14 AM
Bitcoin is not a religion but the most convenient and powerful form of payment ever created until now. Because of this many people see it as a religion in the sense that they follow it everyday just like it was a religion and are in touch with it every day just like religious people go to praying everyday.
2209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: June 30, 2017, 08:31:36 AM
Religion makes you feel better about yourself. I wonder how atheists or people who don't believe in God justify the massacres that Hitler and Stalin did, Hitler killed 6 million Jews while Stalin 20 million people who disagreed with him ? Do these people think that 1 life of Hitler was equal to 6 million Jews ? I am not a religious person but I like religious people, they are the most kind compared to other persons or at least they seem so.

2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: June 29, 2017, 05:05:28 PM
I have done an experiment which is successful so far. I place an initial deposit at my favorite sport betting website and then after every win I withdraw the money won. I have programmed for example maximum I will deposit 0.10 btc for the week, place like 6 bets with 0.015 btc and 1 bet with 0.01 btc. I stay loyal to my program and when I lose I don't do anything stupid. Once I win I withdraw only the winnings. I have collected so far about 0.55 btc wins from a few months and I can use this money now to build a mining computer which can be like a partner which creates little bitcoins for you everyday. I am happy with my strategy so far. I am not spending winnings to buy electronics, games or to buy digital goods anymore. I see more value spending it for itself, i.e mining computer.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fifa Confederations Cup 2017 discussion and predictions Thread on: June 29, 2017, 04:49:23 PM
I think that Germany will win this game and the cup too. I know they have young players but Germany has a big history of winning many world cups and european cups. Against Mexico all odds are on their favor having beaten Mexico quite some times, so I am placing a good amount of bitcoin in Germany tonight as I am sure I will win a bit of extra bitcoin with them tonight.
2213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is that safe to buy a used hardware wallet ? on: June 29, 2017, 01:25:41 PM
It is never recommended to buy a used hardware wallet because the other person who had this in use before selling it to you may have flashed the firmware or do some other nasty trick. This way even if you wipe your wallet that firmware installed there on the chip may have bugs and it may show your seed to the person who had this before. This happens very rarely but just to be sure because I suppose in a hardware wallet you will keep a good amount of bitcoin.

My advice is always buy a sealed new one and always buy only from the official website. Even buying in Ebay and Amazon I am afraid. You may say I am a fanatic but when it comes to bitcoin, security is ranked at first.
2214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested in doing pool betting on the English Premier League? on: June 29, 2017, 12:39:50 PM
Ok. I added you. I'm surprised not many other tipsters have joined up. If they were truly great tipsters they should have a big advantage in this sort of tournament.

I agree with you, I don't see many of the tipsters who were sponsored by Sportsbet a few months ago. I see there are a few great tipsters like CarlesPuyol and Betadviser but I am surprised to see Joca97 and ajaxmoor which are truly good tipsters are missing this tournament. Maybe you need to bump this thread a bit more, me too I only saw this yesterday and immediately applied to join.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is more silent: 1 or 2 fan (GTX 10xx / RX 4/5xx)? on: June 29, 2017, 11:53:14 AM
I wonder which version (1 fan or 2 fan) of GTX 10xx / RX 4/5xx is more silent when mining at most optimal kH/kW setting (that is not at full load)?

I have both versions of GTX 1060, with 1 ,2 and even 3 fans and I can say without the slightest doubt the more silent is the one with 1 Fan from the Palit brand, Gigabyte and ZOTAC are some really loud ones compared with Palit. Get the mini ITX versions, they are cheaper and a better option for mining in general.
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 29, 2017, 11:12:35 AM
Up to this day I do not know any working strategy in games of luck and I think yours is no different. No strategy will work in chance and luck games because the house edge which ALL casinos have is designed to make THEM money in the long term. Sure you may win at a certain time with a certain pattern (strategy) and you think, this must be the winning strategy but unfortunately such strategy do not exist.
2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting started with sports betting! on: June 29, 2017, 09:31:31 AM
From the sports betting websites you have chosen I say with these 2 you can never go wrong

Nitrogensports and Sportsbet.

As far as I know both have very low minimal bet option. Sportsbet offers much more betting lines than Nitrogen though so if you are looking for a lot of betting option to choose for your bets , Sportsbet is the place to be.

Yes after closing directbet site I am using Betcoin and Sportsbet.io to do my sports betting. I am not that much satisfied with sportsbet.io site to compare directbet, but I don't have any option now so that I will use this website. This is good for pre games betting, but I did not find any good odds for live betting. Why can't you try Betcoin they also giving good odds for all sports.

I insist on Sportsbet.io as they have the most extensive betting lines compared to all other sportsbook (excluding Cloudbet ,too many problems with them so I don't recommend). Even directbet did not had that many betting lines compared to Sportsbet.io. Its the only one sportsbook I am using at the moment for my daily betting and occasionally Nitrogen.

For live play maybe they are not the best though.
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: June 29, 2017, 07:13:55 AM
I am not a problematic gambler at all. During a lot of years that I have played slots, sport betting and poker I learned a lot about self control and patience which are key to success in gambling together with knowing when to quit. Problematic gamblers are those who play without a plan and think that they will be rich from gambling, that is wrong and it will only lead you to lose more and more money over time.

2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 29, 2017, 06:27:07 AM
I am saving bitcoin for future purpose. I am saving it because I believe that the bitcoin price will skyrocket after a few years and it will allow me to fulfill some ideas and desires I have in mind which I cannot realize yet because of the missing funds. These ideas require a good amount of money and I am hopeful that bitcoin after a few years will help me realize what I have in mind (opening a network of some specialty electronics shops).
