Jeez, what a dumbass ~ buh-bye.
I wasn't sure if you reported him, so I did it just to be sure. It kinda makes me want to Merit him, just to add to the disappointment when he gets banned

I'm leaving this here, please ban sa123 Banned!: I think the vast majority of people are going to have a lot of trouble getting any merit. Thus far, the majority of active contributors haven't received any merit. it like me.
Jeez, what a dumbass - I suspected plagiarism and, yep... turns out this post is a direct copy of one that was made earlier in this thread: I think the vast majority of people are going to have a lot of trouble getting any merit. Thus far, the majority of active contributors haven't received any merit.
buh-bye. (credits to MagicSmoker, no, don't ban MagicSmoker )

Dear Privcoin, please contact our support team and confirm your dismissal of the KYC procedure. You will be issued a refund minus the network fee right away. You won't have to provide any ID, all you need to do is confirm that you do not wish to complete the verification procedure. I believe OP was pretty clear already: To ChangeNow should they read this thread: If you either refund us the coin we sent back where it came from OR provide a swap to the coin we wanted, we will remove this post but here's the best part: We are not going to tell you which transaction was ours so either refund every user you're holding and give everybody their coins back or provide them the promised swap. What are you waiting for? Refund all those people! What you're doing now looks like PR/damage control. I don't believe a word you say, I'll believe it when PrivCoin and ni23457 confirm it.

I wonder how new registrations stats looks like...
I’ve taken a quick look, using the forum official stats and WayBackMachine to get different snapshots (*). You can easily get very accurate registration data by just looking at the registration dates in the profiles https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2400000 for instance was registered September 20, 2018, 02:28:47 PM, and on September 28, 2018, 07:49:28 PM there were 10000 more accounts.

Considering the fact that you are from Bangladesh I had a different country in mind, this makes the average salary even lower. Quora puts it at $157 per month on average, averagesalarysurvey.com makes it 10 times higher for high paying jobs. That makes 20 Bitcoin worth many years up to a few lifetimes of labour.

The problem is that the seed file is deleted bcz of my laptop software ( not windows ) deletes every single data after restart
What software did you use? If it doesn't save anything to disk (for instance a live CD/DVD), and you didn't write down your seed, you won't get your Bitcoins back. It helps if you give as much information as possible.

I would recommend users to create threads in Archival since the board is mainly used as a dumping ground for obsolete threads anyway. Great idea! I moved my thread, and it works fine. @Piggy: I would suggest to only accept threads in Archival from now on.I changed my mind: the thread is no longer self-moderated

..and this is just a random ANN thread I ended up on from the patrol, reporting this good project shit... That reminds me: those posts where the reason I started downloading all new posts. I now have almost a month of data, and can probably find many useless posts in there, but the total amount of data would be much more than I can ever report I guess there are many more like this, we need a new approach to deal with them. A nukebot!

my laptop crashed If all your data is on your laptop, you need to find back your data. What do you mean with "crashed"? People often say this when they mean Windows doesn't start anymore. As long as hdd/ssd is still working, your data should still be recoverable. That means you shouldn't use the laptop anymore, take out the drive, and check it from another computer. It's probably wise to get some (local) help from someone who knows how to do this. Even if your drive isn't working anymore, it might be able to recover your files, but that makes it much more expensive (and specialized) to do.

Thanks! Some results: Most noticeable: there was a sharp increase of deleted merited posts right after theymos' changes. The dates are my archive dates, so only an approximation of the Merit date, but the increase is very clear: 2018-09-12_Wed_18.22h.tar.bz2 45588389 45582138 45547342 45556278 45543651 2018-09-13_Thu_19.47h.tar.bz2 45628157 45615769 45630520 45641344 2018-09-14_Fri_21.23h.tar.bz2 45654613 45667428 45652542 45685392 2018-09-15_Sat_23.03h.tar.bz2 45723998 45723541 45726663 45720031 45722812 45727844 45730090 2018-09-17_Mon_00.57h.tar.bz2 45782868 45783026 2018-09-18_Tue_02.33h.tar.bz2 45810974 45816857 45823432 45803792 45825152 45823688 45849283 45814793 45817853 45816336 45819421 45822428 45829024 45838996 45845324 45848311 45849471 45830987 45831011 45831343 45832687 45835295 45835428 45835500 45835785 45835936 45834906 45835108 45837712 45837733 45841066 45842778 45839762 45818454 45848260 45830113 45848601 45819445 45827908 45832570 45832652 2018-09-19_Wed_04.08h.tar.bz2 45865991 45876551 45893121 45893140 45851252 45870607 45856934 45859320 45864206 45864500 45886748 45872127 45873152 45888959 45881432 45885436 45886249 45889805 45885205 45867621 45879752 45869192 45884450 2018-09-20_Thu_05.41h.tar.bz2 45911974 45911881 45895128 45899883 45910018 45920141 2018-09-21_Fri_07.46h.tar.bz2 45959864 45942078 45923205 45930817 45932961 45940579 45951090 45954746 45950879 45954185 45960417 45963529 45962820 45967516 45969374 45929656 45965935 45966083 45936042 45923984 45956703 45946466 2018-09-22_Sat_09.35h.tar.bz2 45989138 45987753 45987456 46006395 45999569 45989005 45981045 45976736 45982563 45986268 45991395 45987911 45984338 46000884 2018-09-23_Sun_11.27h.tar.bz2 46055423 46019041 46020683 46028098 46029345 46056490 46017168 2018-09-24_Mon_13.15h.tar.bz2 46076717 46073676 46077839 46082552 46092804 46101053 46101392 2018-09-25_Tue_15.15h.tar.bz2 46111506 46114751 46128642 46129699 46141720 2018-09-26_Wed_16.54h.tar.bz2 46190801 46154160 46160422 46185512 46192081 46180660 46166665 2018-09-27_Thu_18.32h.tar.bz2 46197317 46197841 46225375 46225462 46225393 2018-09-28_Fri_20.18h.tar.bz2 46242959 46255172 2018-09-29_Sat_22.01h.tar.bz2 46307741 46309879 46319843 46315517 46306674 2018-09-30_Sun_23.51h.tar.bz2 46363614 2018-10-02_Tue_01.30h.tar.bz2 46373527 46375443 46377887 46384343 46375402 46406145 46407990 2018-10-03_Wed_03.09h.tar.bz2 46434036 46435794 2018-10-04_Thu_04.47h.tar.bz2 46457125 2018-10-05_Fri_06.27h.tar.bz2 2018-10-06_Sat_08.22h.tar.bz2 2018-10-07_Sun_10.07h.tar.bz2 2018-10-08_Mon_11.55h.tar.bz2 2018-10-09_Tue_13.39h.tar.bz2 2018-10-10_Wed_15.21h.tar.bz2 (the last few days lack Merit data) I count 177 deleted posts with Merit in the past month, I would have expected it to be much more. This is the list, sorted by board: http://loycevsbasement.privatedns.org/meritdeletedposts.html

I received negative because I offered an escrow service which hilariousandco thought I may run away (note the keyword may run away) with the money. Does that mean I committed a crime to get punished mentally? From what I can tell, the amount you wanted to escrow is worth many average annual incomes in your country. As they say: "opportunity makes the thief", and even though I don't think you had bad intentions, that large amount of money would have been very tempting for a very long time. On top of that: if you're an escrow, you're responsible for that amount. What if you somehow lose it? I highly doubt you'll ever be able to repay it. To answer your question: I don't think you're a scammer. But I wouldn't call you trustworthy either. In my book, being trustworthy means staying far under any reasonable amount you can be trusted with. The fact that you offered to escrow means you were asking to be trusted with at least 500 times more than what's justified by your history on this forum. To stay safe, you should not have offered to escrow more than 10% of what your trust at that moment justified (so that puts you at 0.004 Bitcoin, instead of 20 Bitcoin). (the numbers above are more or less arbitrary to illustrate the point I'm trying to make)

Should have told him how offended you were at his valuation of your account. I'm more offended by the use of some shitcoin to make an offer! @LoyceV: great to see you take action against such a character ... It's a first, as it's the first one who tried to buy my account. Slightly offtopic, but still relevant: i can still read this guy's email address, even after you tried to blur it... If you were serious protecting his email, you might want to swith to a different blurring tool Done, it's black instead of white now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that most of the later deleted posts(after got Merited) are surely from Russian board (can you compare those two subsets?)
Since these 1.249 cases had all their merited posts deleted, and I only download merit related data in general, I would need to retrieve the posts (or just some) for all these cases and see if they are in the Russian board. Unfortunately, I don’t download non-merited posts so I cannot answer rightfully this question. I have downloaded all posts since September 12. Scraping failed sometimes, but still, I think I have more than 99% of all posts. If you get me the list of all deleted posts (just the post ID (example: 46748761) is enough), I can get you the board, thread title and if needed the post itself (excluding quotes, as it was created before any edits) of the past 4 weeks. I'm curious to see the results, and it shouldn't be that much work (for me).

I'm posting here as a reference for the red trust I'm about to give Xi Jinpi. He sent me a PM asking to buy my account: (Reported to Admin) He's also trying to buy Merit in public, so that he can sell it again: I want to buy merit. The purpose is not to deceive, but rather to sell to the lower members. and where to buy please help me thank you
