22181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being your own bank and theft on: June 06, 2015, 02:47:02 AM
So even if you keep your own coins secure, there is still a danger of theft performed with violence. You have heard of people who were forced to give up their coins/keys under duress.

Does this mean that multisig is a must?
if you have a couple of thousands bitcoin and you publicly announce it you might get mugged. but robbers don't know what bitcoin is or who has what to target them.

how can a robber know that you have bitcoin to target you and force you to reveal your keys?!
22182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 05, 2015, 06:14:27 AM
My experience with martingale was catastrophic.

I was happy in the start, as I was winning.
And then, BANG! I got a lose streak.
I never tried martingale again.

I increases the chances to win small amounts while it does the same for losing large amounts!
i used to do martingale betting a lot, i used to leave the page open for hours betting and every time the result was the same as before.
at first there are wins and win streaks are small, like 6-7 in a row
after that the losing streak starts, and that is when i lost 20 times in a row and my balance was zero

We need to learn from our mistakes.
No martingale again, never gamble more than you can afford to lose.
why everyone say no martingale? its a good strategy you just need to use it with mind and dont play too much
because everybody has tried Martingale method at least once in their gambling journey. and when you use a method you can learn it's weaknesses and decide about how to use it.

when you use this method, you will always lose at some point and that loosing will be hard enough that will cause you to decide that it is enough martingale for me.

it has nothing to do with your mind your what you plan, even if you don't play many times, you will lose at some point and give up afterwards.
22183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin year after 2140 ? on: June 05, 2015, 06:05:21 AM
there are two.possibilities that could happen to bitcoin .
1) bitcoin wpuld be vanished .
2) bitcoin would be the largest selling currency used by every human being on the earth at every single place to shop.
bitcoin is going to undergo some changes if it has to survive for that long for sure. maybe by then we can see a couple of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin which are being used worldwide by different countries.
but one thing is for sure and that is the technology that it brought will never die and will develop over the years.
22184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitnation's semi official space agency... on: June 05, 2015, 05:56:57 AM
balloons that are sent up in the stratosphere are usually used for weather studies and reports. why does a bitcoin related balloon is sent up there?
22185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does anyone knows Bitcoin Arbitrage? on: June 05, 2015, 03:29:10 AM
does this work?
i mean you have to consider the fees too. which means you have to pay the fees twice, once where you buy and once where you sell.
is the difference between exchangers that high to cover the fee and give you profit?

besides it takes time to cash out of exchanger, it need to get confirmed by the exchanger and then goes to your other address and get 3 or more confirmations.
what if the price changes in this time?

22187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: June 04, 2015, 06:01:44 PM
Wanted to know how greedy people actually are , I'am personally not into gambling with the real meaning to be honest
however I see a lot of my friends says "im stupid" and stuff like that , because they start earning a lot on the begining then they get greedy and lose basically all , does it happen to you ?
i have never gambled ever in my life back when i didn't know about bitcoin. with finding bitcoin i also found out about a lot of different gambling websites that i can have fun
since i don't have enough experience and haven't lost a lot so far. i think i am a little bit greedy in my gamblings,

but as they say: "greed is good " Cheesy
22188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 04, 2015, 07:34:53 AM
in a year = faucets
in months = trading
in weeks = mining
in days = mining ALT coins and exchange them
in hours = bitcoin ATM

easy formula
the only thing that i agree from this list are trading and mining altcoins and exchanging them.
earning bitcoin from faucets is a complete waste of your precious time. you can earn more bitcoin by searching for giveaways in that time.
mining bitcoin is no longer an option for solo mining anymore. and in mining altcoins, you have to do your research to see if it is worth mining and is it going to give you profit considering the electricity costs. and keeping in mind that altcoin prices are so volatile.
22189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin points of massive price movement on: June 04, 2015, 07:28:06 AM
There is no price so low of "no return". If the price is forever stable or decreasing we might lose the speculators, but in the end its the usefulness of the technology that will determine demand and thus price.
if the price stays stable, that is great but in case of forever decreasing means the death of bitcoin. nobody would buy something that is going to worth less tomorrow.
the technology is great and i think bitcoin started a whole new world but if the price just keeps going down, eventually everyone is going to sell their coins and leave it behind.
22190  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 04, 2015, 07:17:32 AM
Trick question:

If the inflation rate of the dollar dropped from 8% to 4%, what would happen to the value of a dollar?

The answer is that the value will drop by 4% over the next year.

Now, apply that to bitcoin:

When the inflation rate of bitcoin drops from 8% to 4% in 2016, what will happen to the value of a bitcoin?

interesting.
but i find it wrong to compare dollar market to bitcoin market. dollar is way more stable than bitcoin.
bitcoin market has a lot of inexperienced bag holders that dump their coins with a bad news and jump in buying with a small good one. besides the whales that control the price can never control dollar price at "the same scale".
22191  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: One bitcoin address per transaction? How? on: June 04, 2015, 07:09:56 AM
in Electrum, every time you send bitcoin from one of your addresses it automatically goes under "Used" category and after that electrum will automatically create a new address for you that you can use.

this way you have the option to use every address just once.
22192  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Will bitcoin automatically go in my wallet? on: June 04, 2015, 07:05:38 AM
just leave your Electrum client open for a couple of minutes so that it can connect and download the block headers (sync up) and it will show you all your balances and transactions.

also you can always check your balance in an online block explorer. like www.blockchain.info
just put in your bitcoin address and you can check your balance.
22193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransom Paid In Bitcoin on: June 04, 2015, 06:54:28 AM
i always find these kind of news of bad taste. when something like this is spread around in news about bitcoin it makes it look like a currency that is only used by criminals to someone who doesn't know about bitcoin.
22194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using less Bitcoin than you did last year? on: June 04, 2015, 06:51:05 AM
every now and then you can see a new business that starts using bitcoin. so obviously bitcoin usage can not be reduced. if anything it has been increased.

but maybe if the statistics about daily transactions volume decrease is accurate, it might be because more people are holding their bitcoins these days rather than spending it.

that is exactly what i am doing these days, i try to buy whenever i can and hold. but i still have my tradings going on too.
22195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2015, 05:45:48 AM
As far as i know.signature campaign only pays good.as u also mentioned that.
But many say that we can fine income from faucets also.

Signature campaign is the best for now to earn good bitcoin. Yes you can earn from faucets too if you really got many referals that help you earn too, if you didnt have any ref I dont think that is much worth to try so better doing campaign is far more better

I think you must try build/make faucet web u can use faucetbox api
That better than you earn from faucet

I guess this is your answer from your quote. And why should you build or make faucetbox api? There are bunch people that didnt make any faucet web

or faucetbox can earn a lot like crazy with using referal or may be bot to autoclick their captcha so I dont think that is a good idea to earn using faucet

web or anything similar to that
creating a faucet is not as easy as one might think. or to be more accurate it is not easy to make profit from creating a faucet easily.
many people have created faucets and invested a lot of their money and time in it in the hope to earn a good profit but at the end, end up spending more money than earning it.
look at the lifetime of new faucets, they usually don't last long enough to reach profitability.

You must open your eyes
Open your mind
You can find more tutor about creat faucet
you must try with a litle amount
Don't give up
Are you think freebit.co.in not need more time to get more visitor ,,?
You not know if you not try

this way of thinking is what makes you lose money. it is not about just trying something blindly and wish for success.
you have to have a plan and enough knowledge and experience in order to be able to be successful.
just look at a couple of faucet rotators, or faucet lists. you will see many faucets that can not even last a couple of weeks, let alone be profitable.
22196  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign 2.O - Pay Per Post & Fixed Campaign Thread on: June 04, 2015, 03:43:01 AM
i want to stay in pay per post as before.
i changed my signature to the new ones.
i suggest you add the signatures above each code so we can see the preview in order to choose.

is there any open slot for avatar campaign?

Quote
Enrolled participants are not allowed to participate in an Avatar campaign not being DaDice or wear the logo of a competing campaign or site.
does this mean i can not participate in personal message campaigns either?
22197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mechanisms ro prevent crime on: June 03, 2015, 09:06:50 AM
I am meaning the forum to prevent scammers do scams or selling hacked accounts, stolen, digital and/or physical goods and anything that you may consider as a crime and the forum has some bugs. In fact you may have some recommendations for forum admin to make here a better place.
simple answer is to do some research before doing any trade or paying other people.
there is always going to be scammers everywhere, the buyer should take the necessary precautions.

for example, in buying accounts; you should buy from someone who is trusted, use escrow, ask for sign message before paying, ...

about buying digital goods, most newbie selling digital goods are scams. for example you buy a digital good like a game or licence to a program, after a while it deactivates because it was bought with a stolen credit card.

22198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust Poloniex? on: June 03, 2015, 08:58:53 AM
I trust Poloniex and use it but I use Bittrex way more.

Polo was my favorite exchange until the verification regime...
But it has survived primarily by going all-in on XMR... and a few other creative Asset listings (MAID, STORJ, NXT)...
And that Troll Box Pump Machine.

For most coins Bittrex has better liquidity...
But trading both exchanges is significantly more profitable because you have 2 spreads to capture.

Frankly, I don't expect these exchanges to survive once FinCEN turns the screws on Alts...
Doing about $100,000 to $300,000/day in volume sounds like a lot...
But that's only about $500/day in fees... add listing/trading... maybe $500,000/year in revenue.

If Cryptsy really has 40-50 employees they are probably losing money....
And you can work 24/7 and break-even only for so long... then you must pull the plug like a lot of defunct exchanges.
i was using polo for a couple of coins before the changes in the verification. after that i now completely use bittrex. it has a good volume and also has all the coins and opportunities that i want to take advantage of.

but both of them has the same daily liquidity, and in some cases polo has the bigger daily trade volume.
22199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Trading June - will I be able to make profit? on: June 03, 2015, 08:45:51 AM
Started trading on Monday!

Bought 100 ParkByte (PKB) at 0.00000355 Bitcoin (BTC).
Sold 100 PKB at 0.00000375 BTC.

Made a profit of 0.00002 Bitcoin which worth around 0.004490 United State Dollar (USD).
good work.
try to invest in multiple coins every time you want to buy and sell. there are a lot of coins that are giving profit every day. and if you can find them beforehand and invest in, you can get an easy and bigger profit every time.

also by spreading your investment between multiple coins, you guarantee profit. if you lose 1 others will cover the losses.

but if you have invested in one coin, and it goes down you lost your opportunities.
22200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: June 03, 2015, 08:41:06 AM
first of all i want a cool and smooth interface which i can work easily with and i like.

also since i mostly use the dice website's bot i want the bot to have the necessary options and most importantly i want it to be easy to use. also the bot needs to be fast.

also faucet is a nice feature that i think needs to give a decent amount to let you get back in if you go down to zero someday.

different prizes and giveaways and stuff like that are also nice.
