You noob. Even newbie like me won't post my private key. Do some research and read tutorial on other sites first.

oh noes I just posted private keys because I'm a noooob..

edit: even worse, I just sent money to the first one, heavens me!
i am so confused why you create so many addresses and post them here Cheesy and with their private keys
p.s: if you want to throw away 0.0002 BTCs Wink try giveaways or tipping on places like Reddit
22843  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: October 23, 2014, 07:49:06 AM
Small feature request for the Windows client.  It would be nice if I could reduce the window, and have it appear in the tools area and not the taskbar.  QT has that option.  I like keeping it hidden on the work PC in the corner, rather than in plain view on the taskbar.

Thanks!

you currently CAN do this:
1. while Electrum is open right click on its icon in the toolbar (i mean round blue electrum icon near your clock)
2. click show/hide to minimize it to toolbar and remove from taskbar

22845  Other / New forum software / Re: Modified Newbie Jail on: October 23, 2014, 07:33:12 AM
yea that is a great idea, new accounts shouldn't be able to post every place
i was searching for some services in this forum. i found some old stuff which the beginner introduced the service with links and then below in two pages i found at least 5 newbie posts (with post count=1) which agreed with the starter and wrote something like: i tried the service and it is good or it pays.
22846  Other / Off-topic / Re: First time you heard about bitcoin on: October 23, 2014, 07:18:59 AM
my story is the worst:
first i heard about Bitcoin when it worth nothing maybe something below 50$ (don't remember exactly) i was too lazy to pursue and read more about it
then about a year ago one of my close friends started mining Bitcoins. he bought hardware and everything (this is around the time when the price was around 1000$) and again i was Busy with other stuff and a bit lazy to go after bitcoins, he earn huge profits from his work
and now after the dust is settled Smiley i am here
now i wish i can see glorious days if bitcoin to come Cheesy
22847  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4 BTC transaction notice on my mail ??? on: October 23, 2014, 06:39:43 AM
Hello, today i got a mail from block chain telling me i've got 2x 4 BTC transactions to my wallet. which of course i knew right away i didn't, but i checked my wallet anyway, no BTC.

any1 got something familier ?
1. check the sender Email. Emails from blockchain.info are from (no-reply@blockchain.info)
2. never click on any link in the Email
3. Bookmark the site address which links to wallet  its like ..../wallet
4. always open the Bookmark and double check the address
5. Enable 2FA
additionally you can enable sms so the transactions will be sent via sms to you "immediately"
22848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do [btc] noobs catch keyboard logger viruses? Two theories on: October 22, 2014, 12:16:53 PM

It sounds so dangerous in the Bitcoin world.

If it's #1 at least I can protect myself by installing some good anti-virus software. If it's #2 then it's not easy to prevent even for experienced users.

Look like I should start thinking to use a clean and separated computer to handle my Bitcoins.

Yes, I'm a newbie just like you, and this is what it seems to me too.  I notice a lot of people do use "dedicated" or separated computers just for Bitcoins.  But you will find out that it takes a long time to download the bitcoin 'blockchain', if you use Armory (the best wallet for this) and, unless you use a "thin wallet" like Multibit (which is not as anonymous as Armory), if you only turn on your "dedicated" computer say once a month, you'll have a wait a long time before the "blockchain" is synchronized.  For my initial download it took 44 hours for Armory to get in synch before I could use it (but subsequent downloads only take 5 to 25 minutes, but then again I turn on Armory every day).  So if you use a dedicated Bitcoin computer make sure you turn it on once in a while. If you use Bitcoin on a Android phone, you are using a "thin wallet" so this is not important, but you are not really anonymous either.  My solution:  keep your bitcoins online with a reputable bitcoin broker (search this forum for several, I use bitstamp and some others), hope they don't go bust, and only take offline those bitcoins you intend to spend, and in small amounts that you can afford to lose.  Good luck.
if you dont want to download Blockchain like me, you can try Electrum, first of all it doesnt need to download Blockchain cause it uses online servers for that and second you can create a wallet on an offline computer and create the transaction on this pc and broadcast it on another pc that is online

22852  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: can i import blockchain.info wallet into electrom? on: October 20, 2014, 06:02:51 PM
It's a different site and not affiliated with blockchain.info. I only gave you the reference link because it explains import/export features quite well. Don't make/use wallets or access your wallets from their. Always use the original identifier which you received when you made the wallet with blockchain.info. Don't confuse the one with the another.
ok first thing i did when i created my wallet on blockchain.info was bookmarking them and enabling 2FA and will always use that link
22853  Other / Meta / Re: Own threads on: October 20, 2014, 05:33:21 PM
hi,
I need little help.
How can you find your own threads?
I know I've found a way for this, but now I can not remember.
thanks  Smiley
i am having the same problem here. forums in general nowadays have a little button at the top which tells you where you have new replies and stuff like that.
unfortunately here we only have the thing that bitsmichel mentioned and also watch list which none of them are any good
also you can turne mail notifications on which will result in crowded Email
22854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dogecoin Is Going To The Moon: on: October 20, 2014, 12:34:25 PM
reading this post made me so happy (woof woof)
as a Dogecoin lover and supporter i wish a better and brighter future for this cryptocurrency, i myself am buying and collecting Dogecoin now that it is cheep, hope it won't stay this way thou Wink

You will need to buy lots to achieve that.
i am buying as much as i can risk, you gotta consider all the scenarios. no one can tell for sure what the future holds. if it goes up i will be happy and get some profit out of it and if it all goes south, well at least i had fun in the community. especially reddit.com/r/dogecoin Smiley
22855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which offline wallet do you use, and why? on: October 20, 2014, 12:14:42 PM
the only thing that helped me choose is the hard drive size requirement
bitcoin core needs to download an initial 26 GB of data (blockchain) and to download more every time you want to update your wallet which is necessary when you want to send and recieve
but electrum uses online blockchain which means you only download the wallet without that 26 GB and growing it will only take 60 MB of your hard drive and won't take long to synch with network
22856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New bitcoin faucet list site that you can earn at least 50k satoshi in half hour on: October 20, 2014, 12:07:55 PM
well that was disappointing, it is a list of all faucets. as long as there is landofbitcoins, there is no need for any more faucet list
22857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed transaction almost 18h :( on: October 20, 2014, 12:04:04 PM
if you are not in a rush be greedy Smiley and wait more, it might get confirmed otherwise i think you have to look into double spending your bitcoins
just delete the transaction and create a new one

22859  Economy / Economics / Re: Now one million merchants will drive selling pressure! on: October 20, 2014, 10:00:18 AM
i think its a good news an i hope it happens sooner than later, if the merchants start taking bitcoins then it will grow and it shows that more and more people has and will start using bitcoin and i think it means the growth of this currency and hopefully a bit more stability of the price
22860  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: can i import blockchain.info wallet into electrom? on: October 20, 2014, 09:47:52 AM
With electrum you have just have import private keys of the addresses you have in your blockchain.info wallet. You can read this guide, it covers exporting your keys from blockchain.info wallet and how to import them into Electrum and Multibit as well.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=594570.0

To learn more about Blockchain.info wallet's import/export feature. See this : https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/06/18/tutorial-the-import-export-feature-in-your-blockchain-wallet/
these are two useful links, i appreciate it. but i wonder why there is no link in blockchain.info to this blog i mean to the .com version of the site
